Ha! I typically do this too! I weigh every day, but only record if its a lower weight. For this challenge, I think I'm going to log lowest weight in the week.

I weigh daily, and average weekly. I find that helps watch overall trends, and it eases the psychological hit on a day when weight spikes up, say, because of water retention.
I have learned that losing weight isn't always linear, but as long as the weekly average keeps moving downward, I am on the right track.
Bottom line, we all do what works for ourselves.2 -

Comments: After doing rubbishy in a July challenge (only one pound down) I'm going to try to do better this coming month. Generally I think I need to avoid late night TV as that is when I make poor choices.
