Sept 7th is the 3-month anniversary of when I started tracking my weight and being strict on my diet.
As of Saturday I was down 19.6 LBS from 272.7 to 253.1.
I'm hoping to log my first weight under 250 in over 3 years by the 7th. fingers crossed.8 -

I have lost 13lbs in 40 days. I have about 50 to lose,and then sime vanity lbs would be great. I had a goal of losing 20lbs by Christmas. I am happy with my losses8

In the first 3 months I lost 17 pounds (mid Nov to mid Feb).
Then stopped tracking for 3 months (mid Feb - mid May). Lost 4 pounds during that time.
Since mid May I went back to tracking and I've lost 21 pounds.
The three months of not tracking (a lapse in my commitment to weight loss) showed me that I could maintain a certain weight by just paying attention to what I eat...so hopefully when I go into maintenance, after tracking for a few months, I can eat intuitively.5 -

34 pounds in three months. I drastically changed my diet and started exercising. I just started walking at first. I also joined a 16 week nutritional course called the move program. My start day was February 3rd so I just looked up april 3rds weight. As of today I have lost 57 pounds. I still would like to lose more but I am losing much slower now. Only about 4 pounds a month now. Counting calories is the biggest helper and I walk about 6 miles a day now too.5

Around 8lbs, I had a bit of lost month in the middle (was away on holiday and fitness/logging was a bit half-hearted for a few weeks after, I lost about 12lbs in the 3 months prior. Have averaged around 1lb per week for the majority of my weight loss.2

Well, I was 250.3 on the 7th. But yesterday, the 10th, I hit 248.7!
So over the last 3 months I've lost 24 lbs

Sorry I meant to put the first 3 months, but congrats on the lost! Any pounds lost in 3 months is better than none or gaining.
Oh I probably lost about 10 in the first 3 months. After that it gradually became less per month.1 -
I'm starting to have mixed feelings about this thread. While not harmful in and of itself, I hope people aren't comparing themselves to others and feeling like they aren't making progress "fast enough". Remember that we are all starting at different places with different bodies. It's fun to share our successes, but don't feel discouraged if you didn't lose as much in the past 3 months as others.10
