    Hey, you are here and you are doing what you can. That is what is important. When I started, my goal was just to use my walker and make it to the front door. You just will never know where this takes you!

    Am too lazy to go get my cell to check my walking and update my last distance post, but am delighted to report that I finally made it to the gym and used the stationary bike. Counting the 4-minute cool-down, I did 10 miles!!! YEAH!! The way I look at it is progress. Now to just get there again and do the other 80. I feel pretty good today. Made some decisions and have chosen where I want to put my energy at this point, which is in my walking and the stationary cycle and maybe add in some weights at the gym as I feel inclined, but my main goal is, at this point, cardio, I think.

    Hope y'all are having a great day. :) I probably won't make it back tomorrow as I have 3 appointments tomorrow followed by dinner and a movie with a good friend. Seems like the day is pretty scheduled up. I hope to fit the gym in between two of my appointments so that I can ride the bike again.

    My goal is 3,000 daily steps for September.
    My goal is also Swim Exercise 1 hr for 3 times weekly.

    Tues 5th = 1715 steps
    Wed 6th = 2490 steps / 1 hr swim exercise
    Thur 7th = 3205 steps
    Fri 8th = Did not wear tracker
    Sat 9th. = Did not wear tracker

    Not very good week hopefully next week will be better.

    Again today I did not do a walk but did manage 15000 steps playing baseball and dodgeball, which is the most I've ever tracked before. I'm planning on going on a 8.5km walk tomorrow instead of the gym to let my body heal a bit.

    I also put together a dodgeball team for the fall season and instead of eating food during a strategy planning meeting, we are all putting on our running shoes and getting exercise! So excited!

    So although I didn't go on any walks again today, I tracked over 15000 steps playing 4 hours of baseball, which is the most ive ever tracked.

    I won't be going to the gym tomorrow as I will be letti g my body heal but i plan on doing a 8.5km walk. I also put together a fall dodgeball team and instead of sitting around eating food during our team meeting, we are going to put our running shoes on and get some exercise! Super excited!

    In August, I ended up within the range I wanted to end up ... between my 2015 August and my 2016 August. I would have liked to get closer to my 2016 August, but a cold/flu/sinus infection kind of took me out of the game.

    I see September has been a relatively low-exercise month the last two years ... ideally I'd like to improve on that and do slightly more this year. :)

    It is POURING the rain here today. I've been cleaning out closets just too keep busy! I never count those types of steps though. I hope it clears at some point too get in at least a short walk. It is only 11:30 a.m here. Time will tell..

    End of day. NO WALK. Still raining. It feels like FALL! We are 20 F degrees lower in temps then normally for this time of year. Weather says that will change next day or so and back up in the mid 70's too 80's. I love those temps Best. Only calling for light showers in the morning and clearing by evening. Perhaps we all get our walks tomorrow in our household....

    As stated above I have kept busy today so I've worked off a few calories. I only counted the cleaning out of closets. The normal home chores I did not count...

    Sorry I have been MIA! Have been busy part of the time and then over the weekend was dealing with a really bad asthma flare up. But thank the Lord I was able to avoid the Prednisone bullet and only needed to use the nebulizer a lot. From my point of view that was a major win.

    Today, Wednesday, was a very sedentary day. Among other things, I have some kind of strange immune system difficulty in which my blood doesn't make something it needs to fight infections so I need an infusion to get it replaced. The process involves about 5-6 hours of sitting while I get the IV medication. But it protects me from illness and I have only been in the hospital once since they started this so I am very grateful it's available!

    Still no gym for stationary biking. If not too tired tomorrow I will set that as a goal.

    I read the posts from everyone and you guys are incredible. Everyone is doing so well. Magic, I love the graphics you put in! Where do you find them? Oh, and I think you're right and are the oldest but your exercise dedication is fabulous. We are also nearly neighbors!! I live in Las Vegas. AZ is our neighbor state!

    For all the people on the group, if you wish to add me as friend I will do my best to cheer you on!

    Im a latecommer, but eager to get started :)))) Hope you dont mind.

    I've been walking for a while, but I've been way too inconsistent. so, I'd like to hold myself accountable for the next 30 days. 18 October will be my overall target date @ 4 miles a day. so, by the end of this month (September), I should complete 48 miles, rounding it up to 50 miles by the end of this month.

    I will take the odd video on my walk and post a link. I live in central London so I can try to make it a little entertaining if I pass any landmarks. I'll keep the videos short 5 minute things so as not to bore anyone.

    I look forward to getting stuck in.

    Hi there

    Very motivated. On a weight loss journey where i dropped approximately 75 lb and went from walking to stairmaster and running. I'm up early in the morning and go to the gym for a couple of hours and go back in the evening for approximately 1 hour. I'm at maintenance now so can play with how long i spend at gym and if I have a rest day etc. Only recently upped the cardio so am enjoying it. Lifes good
