Do you want to be Objectified?

When I really want to be objectified I hit the gay bars with my homosexual friends. Don't know why, but I have always been WAY more attractive to men than to women. Which, as a straight, is quite unfortunate.4

In my 20s I hated the way I was leered at due to having a large chest. Now in my 40s I feel like I'm invisible - kinda sad and pathetic of me really. I've lost half of the weight I want to lose so am in no way slim but I feel awesome and feel great in what I wear. Now if I'm objectified I take it as a compliment for the hard work I've put in.1

I'm sure you're not nearly as invisible as you think. You're just accustomed to blocking it out from a lifetime of being noticed.1 -

I'm not talking about your personality, intellect and spirit being dismissed or not considered, which I understand is the primary definition of Objectification.
What I mean is, are you looking for strangers to look upon you and lust? Are you craving those that see you to desire you? Obviously, most of us only want those that we desire to look upon us the same way, but alas, that's not an option unless you only interact with those you are attracted to. lol
I ask because I know many here are doing this for themselves and/or their SigOts, but vanity does play a role I think and was curious who willingly admits that one of their primary purposes is to be considered aesthetically beautiful by others.
Am I looking for it and do I crave it, no.
I am flattered if they do tho, I'd take it as a compliment.
Vanity does play a role, I agree. One of my primary purposes is to be what I consider aesthetically beautiful to me.

I mean, that's a little reductive isn't it? Can't I just be gay bait?4 -
Oh yes. I just adore it when someone catcalls me from the window of their car. It's actually the only reason I go out for a run. I'm just running around waiting for someone to notice me.5

I'm a ghost among the living. Sometimes men seem to sense my existence, but I am rarley seen. I prefer it that way. I'm certain I like that more than I would like being harassed.1

I love when a trucker beeps at me while I'm walking down the street. It makes me feel worthy3

I get hit on by dudes a good 10 or more years younger than I am. It's kind of awesome, but would be super wonderful if someone my age would notice. Seems like men my age want the young hot things. And that ain't me.4

Crave is a strong word.
I want to be sexy. I like when people are attracted to me and it's flattering but it's not my top priority.1 -

I'm flattered when I get "woo'ed" from a car full of guys. It is startling tho.3 -

Last time I got woo'ed by a car full of guys I was 9 years old. Any guy that does this is a creep in my book.5 -
The only guys who lust after me drive second hand Toyota Corollas with baby seats in the back and Christian bumper stickers. When I do my midnight fitness strolls they drive alongside me and make clicking noises with their tongue and rub their thumb and index finger together. I'm so not into it. So no.
I can handle married christian guys looking for prostitutes, but anyone who drives a Corolla is too weird to get involved with
(And as a straight guy i'm not really their target demographic)1 -

I'll gladly trade my old man collective for some young blood

It would be nice to be put into the "worth a second look" category I suspect some might be too scared I often have a "try it *kitten*" look to me not completely on purpose...1

I can't usually tell because it's really dark and I try to keep my head down and hurry along.

Any time that happens to me, I instinctively toss up a middle finger.2 -
In my world, every woman wants me and every man fears me.
Or it could be the other way around. I don't know. I'm getting old. And confused.10 -
Anyone who says no is lying.4

Yessss pleasssseeeeeee
I get that most women hate "being objectified" because they have to endure it all the time. However, as someone who has NEVER been seen as worthy, I think it would be an awesome affirmation of all the hard work I've put in.0
