I'm glad to be a part of this, cos I've been struggling with my health for awhile now. This is it for me, this is the beginning of my weightloss journey.

I hope this is helpful to you. It's really been great for me to be accountable every day. It's helped me reduce last night snacking cuz it always effects my weigh in. It is also very helpful to see that we all get stuck on a number ( no change) from time to time. We also all bounce around (up for no reason!). We're in this together for the long haul.

12/9 - 230 Sabotage comes in all forms - grilled lamb with garlic herb potatoes and mayo. Was it worth it? Flavour - yes. Repercussions - no. Salt may be the effect but complacency is the cause. Note to self - if you want to be under 200 by Christmas this is not the way. Time to do the work.

ROUND 16 - My Round 3
I ended last round 0.1 above where I started, having to navigate the first week of school, inservice, Labor Day, and 2 celebrations for mom's birthday. So here is how we are starting:
SW 162
Round 16 goal: anywhere 159.9 or below
9/10 162 - was out to eat yesterday and did in fact go down a few ounces. No official workout yesterday due to getting my FIL checked into a care facility and dealing with all of that. Losing weight while dealing with adult responsibilities is hard. Got up today and got in 50 mins of Zumba at home before starting the day.
9/11 162.8 - WHAT?? I worked out yesterday and had a pretty big deficit at the end of the day - WHAT??
9/12 162.6 ugh. Was hoping for better.

9/10: 203.00- Oh yay, gained everything i lost last week in about 2 days lol!!This is water weight I'm sure. I had a lot of alcohol the past two days, didnt log, ate out dinner the past two days as well. I tried to keep it healthy but I know it was probably packed with Na+ and sugar. Also didnt drink half my normal amount of water. So heres to recovering from all the damage I did!
9/11- 204.5 same trend as last week! I have all my meals planned out for the week. Looking forward to doing better!
9/12- 205 scale is playing games this am lol. I don't believe it.

It is still 2 oz, so be proud of yourself. It's a loss. The longer it takes to come off, the harder it is to gain it back.

I absolutely get it. I have family in the hospital. She's battling lung cancer, pneumonia, and now pulmonary edema. It is hard. The kids are back to school, and I am too since I teach. Stress is my full name right now. I hope things get better for you.

Love, love, love this group! I'm really hoping to step up my water intake these 10 days. I really struggled doing that last round. My goal this round is to lose between 1 - 2lbs.

09/10: 175 My Mom is still in the hospital. I've been there with her the last several days. According to the xrays, nothing has changed. Since I've been there, I haven't been getting as many steps in as I have been. I definitely didn't drink much water, and my calorie intake was low.
09/11: 176.6 Well, the whoosh I had last week, I've gained back due to lack of water consumption or hormones. My ovulation cycle is always so hard on me. I think I feel the worst then. Of course, being at the hospital and not moving much isn't great either. However, I managed to get my lesson plans done while I was there.
09/12: 175.8 Well, I managed to drink more water yesterday, and I put in about 7500 steps, which is a lot for me considering the field I work in. I hope I get back to 174.4 (where I ended last round) by the time this round ends at least.

A three lb fluctuation up? Not sure what to attribute this to. Did pretty well with water on Sat. and exercised so maube ny 165.7 was an odd flux down. Didn't drink as much or work out yesterday. Still 3 lbs feels like a lot.

Down from yesterday but still not back to day 1 weight. Drank a lot of water, ate my carbs early and tracked all day. Was proud of myself for making it to the gym last night for a 30 min workout.

09/9 - 197 - still eating lower cals and drinking 10 L water a week, still in a lot of pain with (what I think is sciatica) docs appointment is set for Thursday 14th at 4:15 so i am hoping for answers then!! I had a Long 70 min walk in the west end to get some exercise .. then a quick 15 min walk myself to check out my walking pace and later 15 mins of marching on the spot, it seems to give my leg some relief. hot water bottle and sitting for the rest of the time!
10/9 -197 - 3rd day at 197! so a bounce or a drop ... ooo the suspense
11/9 -198 - and its a bounce! .. still patiently waiting on a drop!
12/9 -196.6 - The pains in my leg were terrible today, I was almost pain free on the 11th as well.

9/10 141.4 Yeah! Lots of walking at fest. 2year old's will do help with that. Brought my own food and left in cooler. Went to parking lot to eat it. So not elegant, but so healthy. Here's to another round of healthy choices by all.
9/11 142.2 That's the way this cookie rolls. Cooked a turkey and ate more than usual and no exercise. Goal for today is exercise - it;s been over a week - and fiber!!! Salad!
9/12 141.4 Yeah! Made it to gym yesterday and pushed protein and fiber and water. Goals for today: elliptical at least 30m, 80 oz water min, and stay within carb limits.
9/13 142.4 The number is up but surprisingly little since I had appetizers and drinks out. It's water weight. Made it to aqua arthritis yesterday. Goals for today: either gym (if son home to watch grandson early enough)or else ellip or maybe even both!!! Stick to veggies and lean protein today and at least 80 oz of water. Happy hump day.

Helllllooooo! I'm in again! I think I started joining this challenge in round 2 or 3? Weighing and logging daily has definitely been a huge motivator for me...along with this group as we do this together!!
SW - March 2017 - 182.4
GW - Was originally 150 but now that I expect to get there pretty soon I'm thinking I'd like to make that the top of my maintenance range...so now I'm going to shoot for 145...but get there slowly so by the time I'm there I've got a really good idea of what calorie and activity level I need to maintain to stay in that general vicinity.
9/09 - 150.4 - coming in from round 15...goal for round 16 is to break 150 and have the BMI number on my tracker not be in the "overweight" range for the first time in probably 11 years.

09/13: 175 lbs Mom was moved into a rehab facility last night. She's slightly improved but no significant change. She has no strength at all. She doesn't want to be there, but she can't be alone. She doesn't want to be with us either because it's 30 minutes away from the cancer center. My husband is beside himself. I just pray that I have the strength that he and I both need to carry him through this. Upside: I managed to get 44 oz of water in the last two days. Woot! I've been struggling with just 28. So, I'm proud of that.12 -

9/10: 159.6 /I'm very disappointed with this weight. Ate very poorly yesterday for the first time in over 40 days. Yesterday I was at 158. Ate well and went swimming today. Hopefully, I'll be back down tomorrow!
9/11: 160.2 /Still disappointed. I feel like I'm paying the price for poor eating on Saturday. I ate under my goal yesterday and will be just under my goal today. Hopefully, things will start looking up again.
9/12: 158 /Finally back to where I was on Saturday! Hopefully it's onward and downward from here! Ate under calories yesterday. Need to go to the gym today!
9/13: 157.8 /Really loved the WOOSH yesterday and glad it's sticking around! Did make it to the gym yesterday but only did weights. Didn't have the energy for cardio. Will try to do both today! Stayed within calorie goal but went over by 50g in carbs yesterday. And had a square of apple pie today . I'll make sure to stay in my calorie range today despite the treat!

9/11= Well back to that same old ugly #238.6. I swear my scale must be broken to stay that # for 4 weeks. I know I lost 1# yesterday but here it is again!! Wth!! Oh.. I'm not giving up yet! Stupid scale!! You are just not my friend sometimes

9/13= 237.0 OH YEAH!! Haven't started I.F yet. But I did eat a lot more protein yesterday but net carbs was only 3. Hhmm?? Maybe I need more protein and even less carbs. I will do the same today and see if I lose again. Interesting!! I will soon have no more diabetes. I quit taking my metformin 2 weeks after I started Keto when I knew this would be my new life style. Keto has dropped my A1C from 6.9 to 6.4 in 3 months. No meds and only Keto. Keep your chins up and your body and mind happy!!11 -

9/10 - 237.4 felt good about my daily losses for the week. Poor planning led me to cheat on keto, but I still logged, which I'm proud of.
9/11 - 238.2 I expected this gain after the carbs from yesterday, but it was less than I expected. I usually get water gains of at least 2 pounds. Maybe I didn't cheat as bad as I thought or I've been keeping up with hydration. Regardless, I've already gotten back to my normal diet and am excited. Super close to being 10 pounds down from my starting/highest!!
9/12 - 237.4 back again! only .4 to 10 lbs lost (hopefully, I'll see it tomorrow)! I'm determined to be very strict for these days leading up to my birthday

The walking seems to alleviate it, just sitting / resting actually tends to aggravate it -- although there is a fine balance in there somewhere, too much walking can also cause discomfort, In standing position there is no pain, but I can't stand all day lol .. Docs tomorrow so I'm hoping for some answers. maybe a referral to a chiropractor. I just hope their answer isn't pain killers.6 -

9/10 - 228.4 - I'm not at all surprised by this. We at at diners twice yesterday and I didn't even attempt to be healthy about it. I'm sure this is a combo of sodium bloat and not getting enough sleep lately. Hopefully back down tomorrow after lots of water today.
9/11 - 227.0 - heading back down. Should settle out in another day or so now that I'm back in my routine.
9/12 - 225.8 - alright! sodium bloat be gone! Almost back at my starting weight for this round. I think things should be smoother this week (no more 19 hour work days - I hope)
9/13 - 225.0 - new low! Things are back on track, but I'm not sure if I'll make my goal for the round. I'm OK with it if I don't, though. Just happy about progress.

End of Round 15: 143.3 (9/10/17- I quit weighing/logging toward the end of Round 15. I felt like I needed a break, and the break pushed my weight up so much. I'm sure I can get it back down (hopefully not actual fat gain in just a few days) with a lot of effort this round.)

Goal this round: Stick to logging and staying under 1300 cal. or 1650 with 30 min. elliptical all 10 days.

9/11 142.4 30 min elliptical, ate under calories, sodium still high (costco chicken tortilla soup)
9/12 140.4 30 min elliptical, at just under calorie goal

9/11 - 227 - Using industrial skid scale at work until I find mine Only when no one is looking of course. Also started my first day of couch to 5k this am - Feeling awesome!
9/12 - 231 - I'm appalled with the scale. I got on twice just to make sure I was not crazy! Huge let down after a great second day of C25K. So frustrated right now.
9/13 - 231 - Whatever.

9/10: 223.4 .......Went to an ice cream social last night at church. Had more ice cream than people; now I have 1 1/2 half gallons of ice cream in my freezer!
9/11: 223.8 ........... Brought my grandson a Lil Caesar's pizza yesterday, but when I got
home, his mother had picked him up, so the 1 slice I had eaten turned into 3! I mean, somebody's got to eat it, right! Oh, did I mention the ice cream? Well, there's only one half gallon left now! The Wellness Ctr. wasn't open this morning because of Irma, so I didn't get my workout! What can I say? That's life; and life goes on! Tomorrow the pizza will be gone, cookies & cream is not my favorite ice cream, the center will be open again, and things will be back to normal! Look out 220, here I come! LET'S MAKE SEPTEMBER A MONTH TO REMEMBER!!!
9/12: 222.4....Hello MFP family! Guess what? Today is the first day of the rest of my life!
9/13: 222.4.....Looking for 221 tomorrow, and 220 before the end of this challenge! ONWARD AND DOWNWARD!

9/10 106 lbs - this happens, a low that is temporary - sometimes I refer to this type of weight as "I was 106 for a minute".
9/11 106.8 - hmmm . . . will update goal for this round to staying in the 6s.
