Oh nooo I'm joining late. Just 3 more days left. I really hope there are more rounds after this, cos this sounds great.
9/17: 160.3 lbs
9/18: 161.5lbs. well I expected this. Eating way too much rice the past week wasn't going to make me smaller.

Love, love, love this group! I'm really hoping to step up my water intake these 10 days. I really struggled doing that last round. My goal this round is to lose between 1 - 2lbs.

09/10: 175 My Mom is still in the hospital. I've been there with her the last several days. According to the xrays, nothing has changed. Since I've been there, I haven't been getting as many steps in as I have been. I definitely didn't drink much water, and my calorie intake was low.
09/11: 176.6 Well, the whoosh I had last week, I've gained back due to lack of water consumption or hormones. My ovulation cycle is always so hard on me. I think I feel the worst then. Of course, being at the hospital and not moving much isn't great either. However, I managed to get my lesson plans done while I was there.
09/12: 175.8 Well, I managed to drink more water yesterday, and I put in about 7500 steps, which is a lot for me considering the field I work in. I hope I get back to 174.4 (where I ended last round) by the time this round ends at least.
09/13: 175 lbs Mom was moved into a rehab facility last night. She's slightly improved but no significant change. She has no strength at all. She doesn't want to be there, but she can't be alone. She doesn't want to be with us either because it's 30 minutes away from the cancer center. My husband is beside himself. I just pray that I have the strength that he and I both need to carry him through this. Upside: I managed to get 44 oz of water in the last two days. Woot! I've been struggling with just 28. So, I'm proud of that.
09/14: 176.2 I know this is from sodium due to Mexican for dinner, but after the 2 weeks we've had and no family time due to being at the hospital and now rehab, I think we deserved it. It was our first evening together as a family...just the 5 of us.
09/15: 175 I'm back to the same weight for the 3rd time. Lol I need to drink more water.
09/16: 174.4 It was such a busy day yesterday. I put in over 11,000 steps! MIND BLOWN! I even have 6 boys in my house since my sons have their buddies over.
09/17: 174.4 Worked on getting my lesson plans put together yesterday while I got 4 boys sent back home to their parents...some which stayed a lot longer than planned. However, I'm holding steady, and that makes me happy. If I could just lose 4 more ounces, I'd be down 1 lb. I need just that bit for a 28lb drop. Come on scale, body, and mind! Let's do this!
09/18: 174.2 Oooo...I dropped 2 oz. Just give me 2 more ounces baby. PRETTY PLEASE!

ROUND 16 - My Round 3
I ended last round 0.1 above where I started, having to navigate the first week of school, inservice, Labor Day, and 2 celebrations for mom's birthday. So here is how we are starting:
SW 162
Round 16 goal: anywhere 159.9 or below
9/10 162 - was out to eat yesterday and did in fact go down a few ounces. No official workout yesterday due to getting my FIL checked into a care facility and dealing with all of that. Losing weight while dealing with adult responsibilities is hard. Got up today and got in 50 mins of Zumba at home before starting the day.
9/11 162.8 - WHAT?? I worked out yesterday and had a pretty big deficit at the end of the day - WHAT??
9/12 162.6 ugh. Was hoping for better.
9/13 161.8 better - cut down on the snacks at work (the kiddos I work with have a reward box - sometimes it's hard to avoid the rewards myself!) and cut down on the food after dinner. Hoping to continue this trend.
9/14 161.7 - the correct direction right?? Even though it's 0.1??
9/15 161.7 - lots of steps again but snacking at work - tracking the snacking as well as I can...
9/16 161.5 - better - right direction - even though I can't keep it together during the day at work - been trying to snack on goldfish crackers instead of m&m's though...maybe I'll get some bite size things to keep around my desk to grab instead this week...we will see. Already got in 65 minutes of Leslie Sansone miracle miles today so that's a plus
9/17 162.0 - one day out to eat and gained back what I lost despite having a big deficit at the end of the day. Going to work out this morning and mark it on my to do list to work out this week as well. Trying to stay focused.
9/18 161.7 - better - at least it's below where I started but still - not as good as I wanted this round. I need to keep my exercise more consistent. I'm thinking of paying myself $1 for each workout I do and buying myself a present at the end of every month - something to keep me focused in that way.

12/9 - 230 Sabotage comes in all forms - grilled lamb with garlic herb potatoes and mayo. Was it worth it? Flavour - yes. Repercussions - no. Salt may be the effect but complacency is the cause. Note to self - if you want to be under 200 by Christmas this is not the way. Time to do the work.
13/9 - 230.4 my belt went in by a notch yesterday and the scale does this. Well I've 6 days for a turn around eating and exercise. Less salt. Definitely smoothie after 6. No more "questionable" meals.
14/9 - 229.8
15/9 - 229.8 appetite back in check. So let's see how it goes.
16/9 - 227.8 very low salt. Today's goals - stay active.
17/9 - 226.2 yesterday I went shopping. Spent close to 3 hrs walking around. Retail therapy works.
18/9 - 225.8 just because it said 225- something. Now if only I would get my lazy butt up and exercise regularly. Years ago when i was young (in my 40's then ) I had so much energy. I exercised one hour twice a day. I got burnt out a year later and since then... sigh. I know I have to get some routine going. Ok Mr bike, you and I have a date tomorrow morning at 5.

Today is the second day in a row I've gone up. Yesterday was the second day in a row I'd over eaten. Well ok then. Let's hope I do better tonight because we are watching a soccer game and we ALWAYS order pizza. I've already made a conscious decision not to eat it if my husband does order it. He fell off the healthy wagon and it's started affecting my eating occasionally, which honestly may be good, as I was being very restrictive. But in other ways I am worried that I will fall off the wagon too. Balance.

Yay! No pizza. My knees started hurting last night though, which in my case means I need to be exercising them more. However, we are in preservation mode right now, as Irma is on top of us!!

This seems to be a new plateau for me. I'm getting th hubby to check the scale for me if it hasn't fluctuated at all for the rest of the challenge. Usually it moves around a little bit.

Scale isn't broken. Hubby stood on it yesterday and then I weighed in this AM. Went to a baseball game yesterday and so I relaxed a little bit on what I ate because I walked about 10 miles around town beforehand. And I also cheated by saving up most of my calories for that meal lol. Delicious. But our team lost. :-(

Found out I missed my dad's deacon ceremony yesterday, which was a big deal to him. I always overeat/binge out of guilt, and last night was no exception, although I did manage to curb it fairly quickly. All I did was a whole box of macaroni and cheese. In the past it would have been that plus brownies plus sushi or some random mix of stuff. Still woke up feeling very guilty and bloated.

9/10 - 159 - I could deal with this steady 2-4 oz loss per day. I wish it were always linear because it's super motivating, but I know it will plateau and fluctuate soon enough. Dear body, I trust you. Love, me.
9/11 - 159.4 - and there's the bounce...no worries though. Trainer coming over this morning so getting back on track with exercise which has been pretty paltry lately.
9/12 - 158.4 - Dear body, I knew I could trust you. I give you permission to let go of another .5 lbs over the next week so we can hit goal. No hurry, take your time. You can do it! Love, me.
9/13 - 159 - boioioioioing...under calories and a little exercise, but a lot of sodium yesterday so not at all surprising. Onward and upward....errr downward!!!
9/14 - 158.6 - 38 min elliptical and a smidge under calories.
9/15 - 159 - I went to bed hungry to stay at calories and I wake up to this...stupid scale.
9/16 - 159.8 - Gaaaak - I knew it. Went to an awards dinner last night and went over calories. Chose a salad and salmon, but the dressing, sauces and bread and butter got me.
9/17 - 158.6 - Worked hard yesterday and it payed off. My scale did this to me this morning though...163.8...wait for it....ERROR...it almost went through the window.
9/18 - 158.4 - Exercise and under calories yesterday. Dear body...let it go...half a pound...you can do it!!

9/10: 203.00- Oh yay, gained everything i lost last week in about 2 days lol!!This is water weight I'm sure. I had a lot of alcohol the past two days, didnt log, ate out dinner the past two days as well. I tried to keep it healthy but I know it was probably packed with Na+ and sugar. Also didnt drink half my normal amount of water. So heres to recovering from all the damage I did!
9/11- 204.5 same trend as last week! I have all my meals planned out for the week. Looking forward to doing better!
9/12- 205 scale is playing games this am lol. I don't believe it.
9/13- 201.6 yay heading back down. This is more like it! Hopefully I stay on this trend. Ive hit 100oz of water the past two days without trying so very happy with that
9/14- didn't weigh today. I pulled a muscle or something in my leg and decided to skip the gym this am. but I plan on staying under calories and meeting water goal again today.
9/15 - 199.2 yay back down to ending weight from last round. Now let's continue this trend please

9/17- 199.8 not bad, I'm just happy to be under 200, even if is by just .2
9/18- 197.4 : I got a new scale and this was my measurement. I stepped on it a few times and got the same number. The old scale I was using was the traditional slide the big blocks scale and was inaccurate imo. So I'll give it a few days to really compare, but I like the number either way!

9/16 - 168.2. Looong day at work today, with a giant snack table. Hope I can avoid grazing on too much.
9/17 - 168. Mostly water but Yay! Woke up with a cold, blech. Oh well, I was half expecting it - bought a house and moved 2 weeks ago, then my parents evacuated from Florida. Now that I'm relaxing and less stressed, time to get sick.
9/18 - 168.4. Got to work today and all I want to do is huddle on the couch with soup. And lurk in the forums!

9/10 141.4 Yeah! Lots of walking at fest. 2year old's will do help with that. Brought my own food and left in cooler. Went to parking lot to eat it. So not elegant, but so healthy. Here's to another round of healthy choices by all.
9/11 142.2 That's the way this cookie rolls. Cooked a turkey and ate more than usual and no exercise. Goal for today is exercise - it;s been over a week - and fiber!!! Salad!
9/12 141.4 Yeah! Made it to gym yesterday and pushed protein and fiber and water. Goals for today: elliptical at least 30m, 80 oz water min, and stay within carb limits.
9/13 142.4 The number is up but surprisingly little since I had appetizers and drinks out. It's water weight. Made it to aqua arthritis yesterday. Goals for today: either gym (if son home to watch grandson early enough)or else ellip or maybe even both!!! Stick to veggies and lean protein today and at least 80 oz of water. Happy hump day.
9/14 142.2 Expected better. Did gym yesterday and way below on cals and carbs. Must be water from the workout. Going out for a friend's bday dinner tonight. Already checked the restaurant's online menu and have my meal picked out to stay within goals. Hopefully.
9/15 142 I'll take it! Happy to not be up after drinks and dinner last night. Saved the majority of cals and carbs for the dinner out. I usually divide them up pretty evenly during the day so I'm not eating so much late and boy did I feel it; very stuffed. Today, gym and pool. No exercise yesterday as I did householdy things like defrost freezer and freeze veggies.
9/16 141.2 Hello "1", nice to see you again. Yesterday gym and pool and below on carbs and cals. Today, I'm having lunch out - this will be the 3rd time eating out this week and I don't normally do that- so I am thrilled by this number. Again, I am checking out restaurant's menu online and deciding what will work best before going. Then I have to babysit for a family so no exercise today.
9/17 141.6 No problem. So happy despite eating restaurant food 2x yesterday and drinks. I've proven to myself I can eat out and not completely blow it. I'm in '1's' and at goal for this round. I think I'll make a crustless quiche. I love them: tasty and so filling and low on cals and carbs. Happy Sunday, ya'll.
9/18 141.6 OK! Was expecting worse as I indulged in quite a bit of wine last night. Today, elliptical. Still at goal for this round. Where is the whoosh? I stay at or slightly under 1200 cals and MFP last night said if I ate the same as yesterday I'd be at 139.2 in 5 weeks! WTH? That's only a 2 # loss over 5 weeks saying 500 cals below maintenance! How do they figure that?

09/9 - 197 - still eating lower cals and drinking 10 L water a week, still in a lot of pain with (what I think is sciatica) docs appointment is set for Thursday 14th at 4:15 so i am hoping for answers then!! I had a Long 70 min walk in the west end to get some exercise .. then a quick 15 min walk myself to check out my walking pace and later 15 mins of marching on the spot, it seems to give my leg some relief. hot water bottle and sitting for the rest of the time!
10/9 -197 - 3rd day at 197! so a bounce or a drop ... ooo the suspense
11/9 -198 - and its a bounce! .. still patiently waiting on a drop!
12/9 -196.6 - The pains in my leg were terrible today, I was almost pain free on the 11th as well.
13/9 -196.6 - 1 1/2 mile walk, leg feeling much better
14/9 -196.6 - If past months are anything to go by (just less than 2 weeks till TOM arrives) I should lose a little weight over the next week (be at my lowest on the 19th) the make a small jump back up to this number (or above) then it should slowly drop off again back to here over the following week -(its happened like this over the last 3 months) - Lets see then, body is this a real pattern or am I just hopeful!!!
15/9 -196.6 - I've been to the doctor and I have sciatica, I've been referred for physio (12-16 week wait for an appointment) and told walking and recommended sciatic exercise only. Forgot to drink my water, calories very low.
16/9 -196.6 - 5th day at the same number, c'mon body .. let go of it!
17/9 -195.4 - I fully expect a bounce in the next few days but for the moment YASSSSSS!!!!!

9/10 - 228.4 - I'm not at all surprised by this. We at at diners twice yesterday and I didn't even attempt to be healthy about it. I'm sure this is a combo of sodium bloat and not getting enough sleep lately. Hopefully back down tomorrow after lots of water today.
9/11 - 227.0 - heading back down. Should settle out in another day or so now that I'm back in my routine.
9/12 - 225.8 - alright! sodium bloat be gone! Almost back at my starting weight for this round. I think things should be smoother this week (no more 19 hour work days - I hope)
9/13 - 225.0 - new low! Things are back on track, but I'm not sure if I'll make my goal for the round. I'm OK with it if I don't, though. Just happy about progress.
9/14 - 225.0 - I'm always OK with holding steady. Pizza for dinner last night might be messing with this a little. We'll see what the morning looks like.
9/15 - 224.8 - things continue to move as they should. I'm pleased.
9/16 - 224.6 - no workout yesterday bc I really needed a rest day; stayed in calories
9/17 - 224.6 - Holding steady.
9/18 - 225.0 - Mondays are typically my worst days. I think that I don't drink enough water over the weekend. Expect that I will see another drop tomorrow.

9/14 - 189 Ate horribly yesterday, sushi for lunch and 4 black Russians for dinner but came out of it under calories because of the huge amount of walking I did yesterday. Still slightly hung over, arrgghh. I'm going to eat well and drink all my water today, I'm due for a woosh.
9/15 - 189 I'm still at 189, sigh, I ate great yesterday, had a glass of wine at dinner. This is the day I weigh in for the biggest loser blah.. was hoping for a little drop. I'm happy where I am though.
