9/11.......330.9 pounds. I dunno why I didn't lose any yesterday. I was hoping for atleast half the pound.

Back in for another 10 days!A lot of people get upset by apparent weight gain when they have been working their butts off. Body weight fluctuates, both up, and down, from one day to the next depending on so many factors. From my experience:Round 15: (Target: 162) Highest, 163.8; lowest, 161; Mean, 161.8 It's slow, but I am very happy with the downward trend.
- Changes often take several days to show on the scale.
- A drop is often followed by a bounce up before it settles back down. A general downward trend is the aim.
- A high sodium day usually results in water retention, unless you drink extra fluids to flush it out.
If you are making positive lifestyle changes it will lead to increased health and fitness.
Slow and steady leads to sustainable weight loss.
But remember to live a little along the way!
Round 16: (Round 9 for me. Female, 5'2" aged 71, weight in lbs)

Still about 2.5kg over my maintenance weight, I really let it slip over the last couple of month, so here goes...
I don't usually weigh daily (or weekly even) but for now it helps me keep focus.

My last round was a complete failure. I had TOM over for most of it and celebrated my birthday and then was eating garbage because I was all over the place with stress and pre-vacation prep. I'm now on vacation in France and will be until this round is over. There will be stress and temptations as we are caring for a sick relative and in the country of yummy food! Wish me luck!
9/10 - No Scale
9/11 - 88.2 kg (approx 194.5 lbs)! First day weighing since I left and I cannot believe that I've only bloated up about 1/2 lb since the 8th! I'm feeling AMAZING!!! I'd mentally prepared myself for the worst (198 minimum) so this was a Huge relief! I will be on this scale for the next 8 days. Hopefully it's not too far off from mine at home. Thank you so much for your comment @ehseeker ! You are very right and It gives me hope that I can survive this trip without too much damage to my downward trend!

I ended last round 0.1 above where I started, having to navigate the first week of school, inservice, Labor Day, and 2 celebrations for mom's birthday. So here is how we are starting:

Round 16 goal: anywhere 159.9 or below
9/10 162 - was out to eat yesterday and did in fact go down a few ounces. No official workout yesterday due to getting my FIL checked into a care facility and dealing with all of that. Losing weight while dealing with adult responsibilities is hard. Got up today and got in 50 mins of Zumba at home before starting the day.
9/11 162.8 - WHAT?? I worked out yesterday and had a pretty big deficit at the end of the day - WHAT??

Mine is the same way. I went up 1.6 lbs and have a big deficit too. I keep telling myself it's due to my water consumption being so small lately and hormones.5 -
Love, love, love this group! I'm really hoping to step up my water intake these 10 days. I really struggled doing that last round. My goal this round is to lose between 1 - 2lbs.

09/10: 175 My Mom is still in the hospital. I've been there with her the last several days. According to the xrays, nothing has changed. Since I've been there, I haven't been getting as many steps in as I have been. I definitely didn't drink much water, and my calorie intake was low.
09/11: 176.6 Well, the whoosh I had last week, I've gained back due to lack of water consumption or hormones. My ovulation cycle is always so hard on me. I think I feel the worst then. Of course, being at the hospital and not moving much isn't great either. However, I managed to get my lesson plans done while I was there.

9/10 257.0 I have a real issue with water retention and if I eat salty food I blow up like a balloon, and ya that's where I'm at today. So it's time to do some apple cider vinegar and juicing today and get rid of some fluids. My goal this 10 days is to get off the water wt. and get to my true wt which is probably 3-5 lbs less than this. Good luck everyone.

09/9 - 197 - still eating lower cals and drinking 10 L water a week, still in a lot of pain with (what I think is sciatica) docs appointment is set for Thursday 14th at 4:15 so i am hoping for answers then!! I had a Long 70 min walk in the west end to get some exercise .. then a quick 15 min walk myself to check out my walking pace and later 15 mins of marching on the spot, it seems to give my leg some relief. hot water bottle and sitting for the rest of the time!
10/9 -197 - 3rd day at 197! so a bounce or a drop ... ooo the suspense
11/9 -198 - and its a bounce! .. still patiently waiting on a drop!

Hi all. This is my first round and I am a little apprehensive as I normally weigh myself on a weekly basis. Have never done daily as was not sure how I would react to the fluctuations on a daily basis. I do realise this could be a positive and keep me on track. I was aiming to join you in round 15 but I chickened out but I am here now due to some encouragement from my MFP buddy (you know who are you - thank you). Looking forward to getting to know everyone.

Helllllooooo! I'm in again! I think I started joining this challenge in round 2 or 3? Weighing and logging daily has definitely been a huge motivator for me...along with this group as we do this together!!
SW - March 2017 - 182.4
GW - Was originally 150 but now that I expect to get there pretty soon I'm thinking I'd like to make that the top of my maintenance range...so now I'm going to shoot for 145...but get there slowly so by the time I'm there I've got a really good idea of what calorie and activity level I need to maintain to stay in that general vicinity.
9/09 - 150.4 - coming in from round 15...goal for round 16 is to break 150 and have the BMI number on my tracker not be in the "overweight" range for the first time in probably 11 years.

9/10 - 185.8 - not good!! Tomorrow will probably be worse or about the same. I ate like crap today and didn't drink enough water. I always relax too much when I see a lower weight on the scale. Oh well.. it's a process!
9/11 - 187 - I was expecting this. I feel bloated and dehydrated. I ate a lot of sugar and carbs yesterday. Back on track today so this water weight should come off quickly...i hope!
