9/20 - 133.2
9/21 - 132.8 I ran 5 miles yesterday and logged everything (finally). Off to the gym I go. Back in the right direction. woohoo!!!
9/22 - 131.8 It really is all about what you eat and logging. Logged everything yesterday (even if it was all at the end of the day). Whenever I fall off the logging wagon, I pay the price on the scale. But really it's a chicken or egg type of story - because when I am not eating right, I don't want to log. The exercise part is the easy part for me. Happy Friday everyone!!!
9/23 - 131 Back in the swing of things. Already finished with the gym and mindful eating. Happy Saturday everyone!
9/24 - didn't weigh right this morning. Weighed w/clothes on and then naked post run. But I figure was between 131-132. Ate Chinese tonight, probably will retain some water. But got my run in. We will see...
9/25 - 131.8 I was hoping it would have been better. Maybe tomorrow. Gym done today and logging
9/26 - 131.8 So here's the question. My original goal was 132 and then once I reached it, I changed to to 129. As you can see I have hovered over 132 for a long time. My question is, is this where I should be and learn to maintain? Or do I keep attempting to get below 130? Any thoughts???
9/27
9/28
9/29
The question is, how do you feel about staying at 132? If you get to 129 will you challenge yourself to go lower? It could be that you've become accustomed to the challenge! You've done an excellent job on your weight loss journey! Try choosing an ultimate weight and sticking with it! I think it would be great if you could maintain a target of between 129 - 132; then you'll have the best of both worlds!

Round 14
SW: 147.6
End of round goal: 146
Goal: Get to maintenance by the first of the year!
8/27 147.6 ~ (Steps 18,495 Miles 7.36) ~ Today's my sons birthday......Yesterday I was able to get a nice morning walk in plus hit the gym in the evening since it was too hot outside. I had to push myself to hit the gym, it did pay off in the scale, yay! Another pound off, I'm trying to lose the 5 pounds I gained from vacation,
8/28 148.8 ~ Yesterday, since I didn't get ANY exercise in plus my sodium was high, I have a gain. I didn't over eat though so my gain is only a pound. Yesterday's, was a success in my books!
8/29 148.3 ~ (Steps18,169) Miles 7 ~ I was hungry the whole day but was able to stick to my dairy, keeping my sodium low. I decided to try getting a workout before getting breakfast. Last night I had to alter my menu since my husband got off late from work. On the plus side a couple workouts during the day helped.
8/30 147.9 ~ (Steps 19,101 Miles 7.7) ~ Yesterday went well with goals, I was able to get a couple workouts at the gym. I switching up though, having my protein drink after my first workout. I need to focus on more fruits for snacks, after vacation, I'm having trouble incorporating them into my diet.
Not at my goal for this round but I'm ready for the next round!R 15 EW: 147.9R16
This will be my 2nd round, too

Day/Weight/Comment:
8/31 146.4 ~ (Steps 28,910 Miles 7.75) ~ Yesterday I was able to get a couple workouts in plus a morning run.... My vacation weight is starting to drop off, only a couple more pounds..... Consistency to no late night snacking is the key
9/01 147.9 ~ (Steps 20,039 Miles 8 miles) ~ I don't understand the gain, I was able to get a nice workout last night plus my sodium wasn't to high. I also ate under my calories allowed so I'm really disappointed with the gain. I did have some watermelon last night but that shouldn't matter.
9/02 148 ~ (Steps 15,232 Miles 6) ~ We went to the Spring fair so my diet wasn't like it usually is, I was able to stay under my calorie goal, making smart choice. I also got a workout after the fair.
9/03 148.5....147.9 ~ (Steps 17,547 Miles 7) ~ Again with the gain, doing everything right, I log everything, stay within my goal, sodium is low, get my water in. I'm going to try dropping my intake to see how that works!
9/04 148 ~ (Steps 15,435 Miles 6) ~ We ended up going to dinner last night but I was able to make healthy choices, in fact taking half home for breakfast today, with such large portions
9/5 147.4 ~ (Steps 17,376 Miles 7) ~ Spent most of the day getting ready to head to my daughter's for the week. Met all my goals for the day.
9/6 I didn't have time at my daughter's in the morning
9/7 148.6 ~ (Steps 12,787 Miles 5) ~ All around good day, just ate late so weight was up!
9/8 148 ~ (Steps 24,548 Miles 9.75) ~ I was able to get some nice walks in with my grandkids and daughter. Our dinner consisted of a grilled spinach salad. Today going back home so tomorrow's weigh in will be with my scale.
9/9 147.9 ~ (Steps 15,416 Miles 6) ~ Yesterday was hard to stay focus but I was able to get a nice morning walk in plus stay under my calorie goal.R 16 SW 147.4

9/10 147.4 ~ (Steps 18,550 Miles 7.25) ~ Yesterday was a tough day really tired from spending the week watching my grandkids. I was able to get a workout last night at the gym. Also even though we went out to lunch I was able to make healthy choices.
9/11 146.9 ~ (Steps 20,239 Miles 8) ~ Since it was a good day to exercise outs I decided to get a morning, afternoon and evening walks in. No late night snacking is helping with the scale going downs!
9/12 145.9 ~ (Steps 23,221 Miles 9.2) ~ It seems to be helping me walking after dinner, yay!
9/13 146.5 ~ (Steps 21,251 Miles 8.50) ~ All around good day with exercise and diet so I don't understand why scale is up. I didn't get a workout in AFTER dinner, maybe,
9/14 Didn't weigh in
9/15 146.7 ~ (Steps 23,040 Miles 9.25) ~ I'm not surprised my weight is up since Wednesday night the, Late night snacking, was bad, I received my Piyo tapes from Amazon so starting Sunday I'm starting that.
9/16 145.9 ~ (Steps 14,643 Miles 5.75) ~ Yesterday I was able to hit my goals with workouts and a healthy diet.

Hello old friend; good to see you again-it's been a while . As good as it is to see you, I don't want to tarry long! I've got all of my other old friends DOWN the road I need to get reacquainted with!
9/24: 219
This is where I was about a year ago when I started on my, "GREAT EATING CAMPAIGN"! When I came to my senses, I weighed 242 lbs. Hope when I leave this number, I never see it or above it again! My body is the temple of God's spirit; it's time I treated it like it!
9/25: 222.3
This is the result of another church function! Had an appreciation dinner after church - pulled pork, baked beans, potato salad, cole slaw, chips, cake, cookies! Drank water and didn't eat any bread, but went home and ate green beans with potatoes seasoned with salt pork! Went waaaay over on calories and salt! I've got 4 days to get this right!
9/26: 221.3
Still holding on to water weight from my sodium overload! Too much salt is not good for my blood pressure or my heart. Didn't drink much water yesterday; just didn't feel like drinking anything, but I forced myself to drink about six glasses!
9/27: 218.4
Got rid of all of the water weight from Sunday ; now, for the rest of the story! Didn't sleep at all last night; could be because of the iced coffee I drank around 4 o'clock! Didn't go to exercise this morning or to BSF because I didn't sleep, and I felt awful! Got to stay hydrated today, and watch the sodium! Maybe I'll talk myself into doing one of my walking dvds-I've only used it once, and I've had it over five months! Tomorrow I've got another small group meeting at a restaurant! Problems, problems, problems! Oh well, I'll worry about tomorrow when it gets here ! Be blessed all!13 -

9/22 165.5 fluctuation up from R16 end weight. I did have a pretty carb heavy meal yesterday amd didn't drink a lot of water. Today focusing on getting all my water in.
9/23 166.6 Up again, but weighing every day is really helping me see what gets me up or down and when I start falling off. This week has been stressful so haven't been tracking meals well and Ive had more alcohol than normal and letting fast foods sneak back in. Plus side.is catching it quickly so I can get back on track.
9/24 163.2 Glad to see some downward movement again. That said this is probably a little bit of a fluke. Worked out with the trainer yesterday, walked around a lot and barely ate in the evening because I think I'm getting a cold. Still, I'll take it. As a side note, my scale is dying and I have an irrational fear that getting a new one will mess up my tracking!
9/25 165.4 Up again. TOM so to be expected. Plus I felt like yesterday's loss was a bit of a fluke.
9/26 Can't find yesterday's post! I think I was at 163.2
9/27 162.4 Yay downward motion!

@NormaV14 Originally 132 was good for you and you seem to be holding pretty well around that weight. Why don't you find your maintenance calories and then subtract 200 from them and try that? That would have you losing about a pound a month and if you end up at the lower end of your maintenance range that would still be good for you. It would also be a good test run at maintaining. Congrats!
@calichiro Tomorrow I will be posting the next round so you can sign up for that one but there is no time like the present so don't be shy, jump in the last few days!6 -

9/20--225.5 Natural fluctuation. I also think I may be coming down with a cold.
9/21--225.5 Stretched yesterday
9/22--225.3 Back to the start of the round. I would love to break into the 224's by the end of this round, but I don't like to make weight goals. Weightlifted and stretched yesterday.
9/23--225.7 Was over about 400 cals yesterday, so not surprised about the temporary water gain. Stretched yesterday and went out for a hike today.
9/24--226.8 Total water retention. So sore from my hike yesterday and I did not drink enough water. Stretched yesterday.
9/25--225.9 The water weight is starting to go. The one thing that I realized this weekend is that I did not drink a lot of water and last night I started snacking even though I wasn't hungry. I caught myself from going over my calories too much, but it made me realize again that what we think may be hunger may really just be thirst.
9/26--224.6 Whoosh!
9/27--224.4 I guess yesterday wasn't a fluke. Stretched yesterday.

Ok here goes... I've been struggling to lose since last year. I'll lose 5 then gain it back, again and again. I'll be 50 in March, so I really would like to make some progress! About 10 days ago I committed to logging and tracking *everything*. I'm averaging a 389 calorie deficit every day and lost virtually nothing in 10 days. I'm tracking based off fitbit calories burned.

9/21 - 221 - Sick Sick Sick. Not doing much, I'm exhausted, tired and grumpy...
9/22 - 219.9 - Haven't seen this number in a long time and I am cautiously optimistic. I know it will flex again but certainly a nice direction.
9/23 - Off the wagon
9/24 - Off the wagon
9/25 - 223.1
9/26 - 222.9
9/27 - 219.5 - Feeling really run down and discouraged this past round - enough even for me not to weigh in or log a single thing. I don't feel much better today but this too shall pass.

9/27 - 130.6 go figures. Just as i am thinking my weight is never going to drop! Ran my 5 today and drank my healthy smoothie.

This answer is so smart. And you are absolutely right. I don't know if I will be satisfied at 129. And maybe it is more the challenge, than the weight. But I think maintaining a target weight between 129-132 is brilliant. Thank you

Started R6 @ 177.1
First Goal: 170 ✔️
Next Goal: 159 ... At a slow rate
End of R15 158.8
End of R16 162.2
9/20 - 160.7 I tried Chefs Plate for the first time last night (promo rate) had Chicken Romanesco Bucatini. It was a lot of calories 870!! It was tasty and large I planned for it AND I lost some lbs.... Hmmm. Hit just over my step goal. I think I need to walk before dinner instead of after as it is getting darker and colder out!! Looking for some 5's now.
9/21 - 159.7 Here comes those 5's. Walked 12,400 steps, hit calorie goal. Still need to figure out an evening workout plan. Hope these 5's stick around for awhile.
9/22 - 160.4 Looks like 5's are a fighter. 13,982 steps hit calorie goal was under near the end of the night and had some protein, maybe I miss calculated. Or its just a bounce!! Happy Friday everyone. No real weekend plans yet I'm hoping the weather holds can have a nice walk and clean the house some!!
9/23 - 159.5. Looks like a nice sunny day here today. Gotta get active!!! Love the 5’s
9/24 ~ 158.4. Spent the day cleaning and organizing. Hit 13,000+ steps doing it. Set my 20 year old son up in the basement. Lol. Pushed for a high protein day and did ok. 5 . Step challenge??? Maybe.
9/25 - 158.8 Think my fitbit is broken. My unit said I was in the high teens when I last looked at it and my app now says just over 10 WTH?? Had a Whole Foods salad for dinner and estimated the calories at 700+ but last night I was so hungry had half bag of Lara balls and some chicken. I think I over estimated the salad.
ETA: Fitbit App just updated and it now says 19,874... Thats good don't feel so bad about the Lara balls.
9/26 - 158.1 Lowest weight in years!!! Years! (Down 65lbs) Picked up SO late last night so I'm gonna try and stay stable. He doesn't know how long he will be home and it could be a few weeks, which is fantastic..... BUT my calorie count may suffer. I'll see what I can do. Found out that our Grandaughter will be born on the 3rd, So excited. But she is breeched and daughter is distraught and upset/worried about a ceasarean.
9/27 - 157.4 Well this is a great number, but I'm not sure why. 13,642 steps, Calories @ 1400. I've been pretty much maintaining for the last 4-6 weeks so maybe the cut is whoosing? Don't like the idea of losing too fast but I don't feel overly hungry. See how it goes. Don't get me wrong I love being here!!

Seeing everyone's daily fluctuations really helps. I know weight loss isn't linear, and I also know it requires diligence. But there's that part of me that just wants it to be easy. Ha.
It's nice seeing that I'm pretty normal.11 -
My attitude has always been, if you fall flat on your face, at least you're moving forward. All you have to do is get back up and try again.

9/20 - 193.3. 2 days of good exercise, eating the right number of calories and drinking plenty of fluids
9/21 - 193.1 Had a good day yesterday. Let's keep it up. Really had to work to get 10K steps recorded; I went to work with my fitbit left behind on the bathroom windowsill.
9/22 - 191.6 I love the woosh. And jogging. And rotisserie chicken with asparagus after jogging. Feeling a little giddy obviously. Hope the rest of YOUR day goes as well as my weigh in!
9/23 - 191.8 This is a totally good number. Let's see the number tomorrow. I just ate lunch at Panera with some girlfriends and had a lovely time. Counted everything, but I have no idea how much sodium is in the food. I seem to be sodium sensitive in relation to fluid retention.
9/24 - 191.6 Office day yesterday with a nice lunch break. Had a lovely T-bone last night and I limited myself to only 4 ounces. Gave the dog my fat trim. Now I have lots of delicious leftovers available. back in the office today. No days off this week for me.
9/25 - 193.6 Ugh. Way more carbs than usual. Too much sitting. Lots of factors. Hopefully this is the temp swing - not the 191 days before. Stay diligent.
9/26 - 192.2 I like the down days. Was a little light on the calories yesterday. Walked earlier than usual and the heat killed my appetite for dinner.
9/27 - 192.2 Holding steady.

9/27: Back on track with a new low for the session! Feeling pretty good about that. The bad news is, I forgot to pack my lunch today, but the good news is, there are plenty of healthy places I can grab something around the campuses I go to today.
Made a point to bring workout clothes so I can go to the gym after my last class of the day to wait out rush hour. I've been meaning to make this part of my Wednesday routine - now I finally remembered to bring what I need to do it!

@brittanydashnay Two months ago all of those goodies would have appealed to me. Now they all sound sort of disgusting. (No offense intended.) I can't believe how my mind set has changed since I started doing Keto. I made 3 dozen Buckeyes with my friends the other night and didn't eat a single one. Thank you for your post that made me realize how much I have changed!
@NormaV14 how do you feel at this weight? Are you still running? Firm muscle looks slimmer than flabby fat so this may be where you belong. Maintain for awhile and see how you feel. Don't stress over it! Go with the flow, as we used to say. JMHO
@rtls BOO to the chest infection!
@calichiro welcome to the group!
