I guess I have a dumb question from this computer challenge poster. How does one edit their original post to update each days weigh in? I've been trying to figure it out but no luck.
Hold the phone, I found an edit button up in the right corner of my post that looks like a star but when I clicked it it said edit 1 hour. Does that mean it won't let me edit tomorrow? Jeez I just want to find the regular edit button! LOL help

@texasfarmer the way I do it is I go back to my last post and quote it. Then I remove the quote brackets from the beginning and end of your post and edit the last post. Also, If you type your name in the post somewhere it's easy to find the last one with the search feature (magnifying glass).
Also, if you only check in once a day you can just scroll back a couple of posts and your post will be there.
Others cut and paste it and save it on the notepad on their phone and just edit and copy it into the thread from there. I hope this helps, this ends up being a big thread.4 -
Back again! I started midway through Round 2 at 153.9 on 4/29. For this round I'd like to get below and stay below 140. Started at 162 something back in early March so I'm down over 20 pounds. I am aiming to reach goal of 132 before New Years.

Started MFP at 242 on March 1, 2017. My goal is to lose 80 pounds then reassess, I have 25 left to go that is the short story. I obviously haven't lost any weight in months but because of my workout program, my clothes are looser, and friends and family have commented that I look healthier. So I'm happy about that. I feel better, too.

Hi Everyone!! Back again for your wonderful support and accountability. This group has kept me on track for the last 6 months and I couldn't have come this far without it!!
For the newbies....here is what my daily weigh ins look like over the last 180 days. It's not all down....fluctuations are NORMAL!!! Trust the process and the weight will come off!!!
SW - 182.4 in March
GW - 145 - SMASHED this last round!!!
I will be continuing to check in here to keep myself accountable as I figure out eating at maintenance. I don't plan on decreasing my activity so it's all going to come down to calories at this point. I have some fitness/activity goals I want to achieve so weighing daily will continue to help me monitor where I am so I can make adjustments as necessary before things get out of hand.
10/19 - 144.2 - coming in from round 19
10/20 - 144.6 - normal fluctuation....had a small piece of cake at a baby shower at one of my client's yesterday and a glass of wine last night...kept calories where they should be at this point I think.

10/20-191.8 I am really enjoying this downward trend. Everyday I expect it to level out and every day I am surprised! This means I've lost almost 16lbs total! I'm so thankful for this group and the daily accountability.

Well, this is the start of round 7 for me, and I can't wait! I plan to step up my exercise, and set myself some daily guidelines for the next 10 days. If it works out, I may keep them or tweek them until they do work!
1.no sodas
2.no bread
3.no eating out
4.drink at least 12 glasses water daily
5.eat protein every meal
6.reduce sodium intake
7.get more sleep
I've lost an average of 1.5 lbs. per round over the last 6 rounds! I'm going to see if these guidelines will make a difference in that average!

I find it very interesting that not counting calories did not have a big effect on my weight, but eating more "junk" and more food did make me feel less healthy. I am going to give this a try again, mostly because I have a big fear of gaining the 50ish pounds back overnight.

Hi awesome peeps! This challenge helps me feel like I'm not alone in the struggle.. great to see the big picture. Although my scale was not stellar the last two rounds, I'm hoping for a stronger trend this round.

10/20 - 189.4!!! I DID IT!!! I FINALLY did it!!! I've seen 189 for the first time in over 6 months!!! (I saw it once 6 months ago and then popped back up into the 90's again). I'm SOOOOOO happy right now! I'm away for the weekend but I'm NOT gonna let that stop my progress!

I am in. I missed the last two rounds and did not progress very well. I need to get back to brass taxes and get to where I need to be. I have a goal of 144 pounds I would like to reach by November 10th so that I can start my maintenance journey. I am down to my last 22 days so I need these last sets of 10 days to count. My goal for these 10 days is 150 pounds. It is aggressive, but I believe I can do it.
