Goals for the next 10 days: Incorporate a lot more exercise now that my foot is getting better. Drinking at least 10 cups of water per day. Staying within my calories and start meal prepping.
I’ve also printed out a bunch of encouraging workout/healthy lifestyle memes and created a vision board! I will be reading them daily and looking for more. Need to stop negative body talk!!

Oooh, I like this thread! I've been weighing myself daily since April, keeping track in MFP Food Notes, and logging my "official" weigh-ins on Saturdays. I've been amazed at how much my weight can fluctuate from day to day, depending on eating out or processed foods, adult beverages, net calories green or red, etc. Daily weigh-in has become a great motivator for me, and this thread is much better for tracking. My scale measures in 1/2 # increments, and I'm too cheap for a fancier scale.

Observations, and Previous RoundsMany events along the way will scupper our best intentions, but they merely delay the achievement of our goals. Life is for living, and one must learn patience. It takes many years to put on excess weight, so It follows that it takes much time to remove, but it is coming off, bit by stubborn bit! Stick with it! The game continues!
A lot of people get upset by apparent weight gain when they have been working their butts off. Body weight fluctuates, both up, and down, from one day to the next depending on so many factors. From my experience:- Changes often take several days to show on the scale.
- A drop is often followed by a bounce up before it settles back down. A general downward trend is the aim.
- A high sodium day usually results in a gain due to water retention, unless you drink extra fluids to flush it out.
If you are making positive lifestyle changes it will lead to increased health and fitness.
Slow and steady leads to sustainable weight loss.
But remember to live a little along the way!

19/10 - 194.6 - R 19 was better than round 18 but I am still chasing my lowest weight to date( 193.2 lbs) it would be nice to see that number appearing this round. I am still eating lower calories due to sciatica pain limiting my movement, but I am also managing to exercise more now that I was in the previous rounds.
20/10 - 194.8 - a great start, I was scared this was going to jump up to 197 again! .. oh for a round I don't see that number or above!
21/10 - 195.2 - still happy with this, had a drink last night so my cals were higher but still within budget, still drinking my water mon-Fri - I will be happy this round if I do not see 197 or above!! and ecstatic if I don't see 196 or above

171.6 is my start weight. I have stalled out. I'm not frustrated yet, but I'm sure the day will come when I am. I've reached a smaller, attainable goal that my doctor set of a 20 pound loss, but I decided to keep pushing myself until I reach my ideal weight. I've lost 31 lbs so far. I want to lose 80! I CAN AND WILL DO THIS!
10/20 no scale---(in KY for a 1-day trip...went to the Jack-o-lantern Spectacular in Louisville with my husband and our 3 children.) I went on a binge last night because I was told in order to get your body going again, BINGE. My weight will go up for 2 or 3 days, then boom. Let's see if it works!
10/21 No scale except the one in the hotel that's 30lbs lower than it should be. Sooo not counting it. Lol We are in Ohio now. We went to Jungle Jim's yesterday and are going to Kings Island today.

Started MFP at 242 on March 1, 2017. My goal is to lose 80 pounds then reassess, I have 25 left to go that is the short story. Back again! I started midway through Round 2 at 153.9 on 4/29. For this round I'd like to get below and stay below 140. Started at 162 something back in early March so I'm down over 20 pounds. I am aiming to reach goal of 132 before New Years.

Hi Everyone!! Back again for your wonderful support and accountability. This group has kept me on track for the last 6 months and I couldn't have come this far without it!!
For the newbies....here is what my daily weigh ins look like over the last 180 days. It's not all down....fluctuations are NORMAL!!! Trust the process and the weight will come off!!!

I will be continuing to check in here to keep myself accountable as I figure out eating at maintenance. I don't plan on decreasing my activity so it's all going to come down to calories at this point. I have some fitness/activity goals I want to achieve so weighing daily will continue to help me monitor where I am so I can make adjustments as necessary before things get out of hand.
10/19 - 144.2 - coming in from round 19
10/20 - 144.6 - normal fluctuation....had a small piece of cake at a baby shower at one of my client's yesterday and a glass of wine last night...kept calories where they should be at this point I think.
10/21 - 144.0 - Thought I ate enough yesterday...but went for a run in the woods with the dog and spent 8 hours getting the gardens ready for the winter and cleaning the house so I guess I underestimated a bit. I'll use it as a cushion for dinner out tonight

10/21: 160.4 I was sooooo hungry last night even though I had a nice filling dinner. I had some extra calories and let myself have a few small snacks. Still woke up with a growling and very hungry stomach this morning! Very busy day today, 2 kid birthday parties with pizza and cake. My plan is to skip pizza (probably chain pizza that really isn't that good) and consider cake once if it looks worth it.
