I always thought to be one of the little pagent girls you had to be pretty and in a certain weight group.... so how this lil girl made it???

Did you really just call a little girl ugly and fat?

    If the shoe fits....

I had my doubts since I hate television that plays on stereotypes , but I saw a couple of minutes and while a lot of things made me cringe they are harmless and look like they really love and support each other. It seemed genuine and not forced like other reality tv shows where the family has to pretend like they don't despite each other.

But I wont be watching again , I don't watch a lot of tv.

You do realise this kind of television in this day and age, is designed to condition people like us to dislike one another for no reason?

    Wake up please.

I refuse to watch shows like this. People don't have to agree with me on this, but I just feel like the parent's are basically whoring their children out to the media for a quick buck. It is disgusting.

Its entertainment for some people. I don't watch it, I don't think much of it or her. Sometimes she says funny things but I do think her health can become an issue if her parents don't consider what they feed her but then again I'm not a mother and I do not know anything about raising a child so nevermind.

But then again, I enjoyed watching Jersey shore for entertainment. I thought it was hilarious and would probably never do those crazy acts but clubbing (dancing, just dancing) seems like fun. I like music lol

    Agreed

I don't watch the show, but those two comments were pretty darned low.

This. I consider myself a "redneck" .... so does this family. They're an insult to rednecks

As someone with DEEP Southern roots....I LOVE this answer.

It's optional viewing here in the UK, I don't think it's on any mainstream channels, thankfully. I have seen it on Youtube though, I didn't fully understand what I was watching.

The mother brags about not only herself, but her daughter being overweight? Seems like exploitation to me. Why would you be proud of the fact your child is unhealthy?

Television really has gone down hill!

Not my cup of tea. But there is obviously an audience for it, since it made it to another season.

Personally I'm watching Master Chef right now and will watch Top Chefs on Bravo afterwards. You can tend to see the nature of the shows I watch. LOL I'm such a foodie.

And anything with Chef Gordon Ramsay, I'm definitely watching.
