I assume that you are, will or have lied to me...

How are you ever going to trust anyone?

I have more digits on one hand than the number of ppl I trust...Ronnie Reagan used to say "trust but verify" but for me it's "verify then trust"
    That's just how I roll...sad, isn't it?

No. You can't trust without verifying. That's why that saying never made much sense to me. If you trust, you won’t insist on verifying, whereas if you insist on verifying, clearly you don’t trust.

True, BUT once you verify there is a foundation upon which trust may be built, right?

Correct which is why you can't trust then verify but you can verify then trust. Which is a good rule for the internet anyway (verify then trust).

For example, I am not really Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker). I am just using this picture because I like it and the new Star Wars movie just came out.

Just drink it out of the container, no pouring needed.

    You eat cereal dry?

I verified that I am not Mark Hamill, so now you can trust I am not Mark Hamill. Except I didn't really verify anything I just stated something.

My morning radio station does an “That’s all I need to know about you” segment and it would be perfect for this thread

I assume that if you send me a Friend request with no message or making a perverted remark about my "hooter" you should know that you are not really giving me a good 1st impression so I will probably decline.

... but I commented about BOTH hooters, and alas...

New Years Resolution srs...thicker skin for real. I think too much, reply too much, type too much...it's dumb.

    It's in process.

    "I assume"

Mind if I piggyback onto this one as well?

I assume that if you don't use your face for an avatar that it's not for a good reason.

What about the lower half of my face?
