So I got my new Day planner today and I am so excited to get into using every day! I am notoriously bad at using these things. Lol. But I am determined to use it the right way this time! It's a few minutes before 5 so I still have a lot of time before the DH get's home. I have to do some cleaning and I've decided that I am going to meal plan for next week and make up a list of food to pick up this morning. Lol. So far it's been a great day!5

I had a thought earlier. If I were to actually get up when the alarm goes off instead of hitting snooze three times, I could do a 20 minute yoga video before anyone else is up.
- Stay in the green - but be flexible due to training class & forced socialization
- Terrorize cats & dog = a.k.a. Vacuum downstairs
As a fellow doggy / kitty parent, can totally relate to terrorizing the kids. LOL --- Thanks for my laughs today.

Had my scan and appointment!
Baby has grown again so all good news again!
Consultant has referred me to an endocrinology specialist? To find out if there’s a problem with my thyroid or if it’s not been absorbed because of being sick.
I have been given tablets to stop sickness.
And a sample pot to poo in.. yes, I have to poo in a pot! I was mortified lol!!!!
Feel more sorry for the person who has to check it though!
So pick up my tablets tomorrow and hopefully start to feel human again!!
I'm glad that the doctor was able to give you something that will hopefully settle your stomach and that baby seems to be doing okay! I love that you got a poo pot! I hope they can find something from it, and I would hate to have to be the person in the lab that has to pick through it! Lol
I hope you were able to keep food down today!1 -

So far so good! No sickness as of yet!
Have to pick up the tablets tomorrow because hospital pharmacy was shut.
A question for all you USers..
Do any of you use cannabis under medical grounds seeing as it’s been legalised over there?1 -
Had a real victory tonight. Worked late, had my buttons really pushed by my younger daughter at her bedtime but held it together, put two happy kids to bed and didn’t succumb to the sugar monster!
Recap Goals for 25/1:
- exercise before kids wake up ✅
- 15k+ steps ✅
- 2ltr + water ✅
- Print amazon returns label ✅
- Get eyebrows threaded nope - hairy beast
- Arrange parent meeting ✅
- Finalise assembly prep: still working on it
- Pay curtains remainder done ✅
- Email my childrens’ school re contact numbers ✅
Got to get so much done tomorrow! And going to bed later than normal tonight so I imagine I will be tired and “snack vulnerable” tomorrow.
Goals 26/1:
- exercise before kids up
- Stay within calorie goal - no fri evening sugar binge (so want to tick this at bedtime tomorrow!)
- 2ltr + water
- Finish assembly stuff
- Print for next week
- Buy party bags
- (maybe) yoga after work
- Early night
Have a good Friday all x4 -
JFT THURSDAY RECORD
1. Stick to calorie goal
2. Do yoga class
A good day. I think I’m getting back on track after the flu slowed me up a bit. Great to feel well- you forget to appreciate it when you have good health.

2. For meal out order Tandoori Macchi curry and 1 beer (i.e just about the lowest calorie option)4 -

Just for today I want to get back on the elliptical. I haven’t had the motivation to all week, even missed yoga last night. Just for today I want to get the exercising back on track.2 -

Not all states have it legalized for medicinal purposes and only two states have it legalized for recreational use. Colorado and California, although my state governor wants to legalize it here.
I hope that the food stays down tonight! And I used to use the hospital pharmacy when I didnt have insurance about ten years ago, so I understand how much of a head ache they can be. Lol

You did great today! Be proud of yourself! I know that we are! Good job staying away from the sugar monster! You'll have a great day tomorrow.

I did so much today! I didn't even realize until I sat down and looked over my day planner. I think I need to keep it open on the table so that I can check it when I'm down with something. That way I dont get off track. It's currently a quarter to 7 and all I have left is a stretching video that I'm going to get off Youtube.
I'm sure I've said this before but I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders the last few days. I really hope this last! It feels amazing to be active again. Even if it's just cleaning the house. It just feels so nice to have a clean house and no dishes in the sink when I go to bed at night! I'm gonna get up early again tomorrow so that I can get even more done before I have to drive the DH to a doctor appointment. I've just been in a great mood all week!
I hope everyone is having a great night! I'll see you all in the morning!7 -
Recap
Just for Thursday, January 25
Training session at gym It was great
Appointment Yup
Stay green. No but I burned about 900 calories exercising and went over by 200. I don't eat back exercise calories, but when it's that much of a difference, I don't feel bad.
Walk/run 7 miles to make 100 miles for RTY I did and I am soooo proud of myself
Make steps Yes
Bedtime routine About to start
In bed by 10 Probably closer to 9
Today turned out pretty well even though I started out pretty grouchy. I'm so proud of how hard I worked today to achieve my daily goals. And I ran 1.75 miles of my 4.75 mile long workout. Went to the gym twice. Once for my fitness assessment and once to do cardio.
Do any of you run?
JFT Friday
At gym by 530
Eat breakfast and prep lunch
Walk during breaks at work
Stay green
Make steps
Do my bedtime routine even though it's Friday
In bed by 11 as I have a workout scheduled with my trainer on Saturday5 -
Yesterday was crap. that's all there is.
I second this.
Today was better calorie wise, but I didn’t write goals. And it was awful work wise. I feel like can’t do anything right at work these days. My new boss has very high standards and is ALWAYS right. Don’t try to argue with her. I am becoming resigned that I just need to do exactly what she tells me, and not to think a t all.
JFT 1/26
Log
Get back on here and be accountable
Read in the afternoon many many documents to learn my new job
Fast til noon
Weigh in!
4 -
JFT, THursday
1. go to the gym. No excuses
2. log ALL food
3. drink water - remember what that red cup is for
4. read 1 chapter in the new book I bought today -- about emotional eating! I KNOW this is what I do .... need to overcome this!
5. work on business taxes .... hopefully will be able to finish tomorrow. Don't divorce hubby (We both hate doing our taxes... so I'm in a grumpy mood, and so is he!) and hubby and I are still married LOL!!!! I guess after 41 years, I put up with a lot!! But business part of the taxes are ready to take to the accountant!! YAH!
6. try out my new indoor grill with a new recipe -- trying t o get more protein, so we are hoping this will help me find more ways to "grill" during these cold months Really like it -- we just cooked hamburgers, but it was so easy to just do this inside (even though today would have been a OK day to grill outside!)
7. go outside and get some vitamin D -- suppose to be in the 60s!!! Sat out in our patio room -- can't wait for spring!
8. work on quilt I am working on this now, and I only have 6 more blocks to do. Got in a hurry, and sewed 2 of them wrong -- so I've been using the seam ripper tonite a lot!
9. declutter something - try for my side of the closet This was something I just dread, and even though all I did was "straighten" and "Reorganize", I am about half done!!
9. get back on here - be accountable
A much better day today - I thought of all you guys watching me LOL!
JFT, Friday
1. work on pc boards some
2. log all food
3. try and find a new recipe to maybe cook tomorrow nite - something different
4. concentrate on water!!
5. go to the gym
6. declutter one more thing -- maybe underneath the bathroom sinks!
7. get back on here tomorrow - be accountable
Can't believe I have 4 pages back just to find my post from yesterday - so many posts! Love it! I may not have time to respond tonite (and to finish ripping out and resewing my blocks), but from skimming over them ... you guys are all doing great!
Just remember how great we will all feel by this time next year --- so no giving up!!2 -

I am the same way! I weighed 187 in October - just 10 pounds from my first goal weight. I also suffer I think from SAD - even though not really diagnosed with that .... I get so down with all the gloomy days, and especially around the holidays. I just need sunshine!
But welcome --- we will all help you get back on track! And congrats on your great losses so far! That shows you that you can do it, and you will!3 -

Thank you! I am in a great mood! Things just seem to be going well the last few days. And a weight seriously has been lifted! I feel a thousand times lighter! I'm glad I could make you smile! I'm a firm believer that if I can make at least one person smile a day then I have done my job! I love spreading joy and happiness around me!
I also love reading your posts - they sound so upbeat, and I can tell you are in a good place! So happy for you! You are definitely spreading your joy and happiness around!3 -
@joan6630
Woo that your quilt is coming along. I'm trying to keep my mind centered as while I'm working on something all these other project ideas barge right on in. I have a small UFO in line next and then back to finishing the borders on the large pink and blue. Trying to keep everything in line.
(((((you)))))
I have so many UFOs also - I am hoping to get several of them pinned and actually finish them this year! But I also do a lot of charity sewing ... and really need to get going on more chemo hats! And the problem the only time I get to sew is in the evenings!
But then I think of new projects! My niece's husband suffered cardiac arrest .. so he is in the hospital on dialysis, waiting for both a heart and a kidney transplant. So I may switch, and try and find a quick pattern so I can make her a nice comfy quilt with a tote to carry it to take with her while she is at the hospital with him. Any suggestions for something quick! I think I'll take a look at Missouri Star Quilting youtube and see if I can find something. So many things I want to sew ... so little time! I see where you belong to a guild! So do I! I was going to go to the meeting tonite, but with the flu going around, decided to just stay home and sew!2 -

Wow! I got a lot done today! No wonder I'm so tired! Lol. I'm so happy that the DH is done working the night shift for a while so I can really get a sleep schedule set. I wasn't going to post a list until tomorrow but I realized that the DH has an appointment and I didn't feel like having to wait until after 12 to put up my list. So I'm going to post it now!

BEAUTIFUL QUILT!!!! I have never used flannel on the back --- might have to try this! You did a beautiful job, and your brother will love it! Thank you for sharing!2 -
My niece's husband suffered cardiac arrest .. so he is in the hospital on dialysis, waiting for both a heart and a kidney transplant.
Any suggestions for something quick!
Oh Joan, my sympathies on your niece's hubby. The quilt I just finished for my brother was quite simple and fairly fast to finish. I felt the hourglass motif was very symbolic.
Thank you for the compliment. I hope he gets enjoyment out of it while he's able.3 -

Scale goals
Dec 1 weigh-in: 176.6
End of 2017: 174.6
Jan 31 goal - PREVIOUS: 169. That's a 1.5 lb/week drop from a start of 175, which makes the math a little easier!
Jan 31 goal - REVISED: 172. *sigh*
Goal for 1/29: 173. Today: 173.8
Yeah, this rate of loss is definitely glycogen stores going "WHEE! NO EXERCISE!" Ah well. It's a nice reminder that some of the UP was because I was exercising! Admittedly, it's a little tempting to blow off exercise for another week or so to see if I can't meet my end-of-month goals. It's not really cheating, though, because even if *I* don't log food or exercise or whatever, my body still logs it for me. So like... mleh. What's the point in cheating? XD
The play opens TONIGHT, and I am super excited. We have a great show and I really enjoy my role. Yesterday afternoon we got an email from the producer asking if we'd be able to perform an additional weekend because several nights were sold out already and it looks like the entire run might sell out by Monday! (I'm thinking we'll have ONE show that doesn't sell out - we're actually performing on Superbowl Sunday, which is practically a national holiday.) Fingers crossed, knock wood!4 -

5. Complete 3 orders from my shop
6. Laundry

@joan6630 I'm so sorry to hear about your niece's hubby. I'm sure whatever quilt you make him he'll love!
@bcTRAI I love your quilt! My Godmom made me one for my high school graduation that was made of up all the jeans that I had grown out of over the years. My mom had been sending them to her since I started wearing jeans when I was little. She added starry night patterns into it so it looks like the night sky! I love it so much!
@slittlemeister Thank you for the welcome back! It feels great to be back and even better to be happy!
@clicketykeys That's awesome that your show is sold out! I was in drama when I was in high school and I loved it! What show are you doing?
@sarah74_vt Going to the gym and doing all of that is DEFINITELY a NSV! Be proud that you didn't talk yourself out of it! That takes a lot of willpower!
So I ended up not sleeping well and waking up at 7am which was an hour and a half before I wanted to. I laid there for a half an hour because it was warm and comfy and my house is freezing. It's only 12F degrees at the moment. I can't wait for this winter to be over! I hate it when it's this cold. I'm a spring girl! But I'm up and out of bed, sitting on the couch, under a blanket and drinking some coffee. I made it at home again instead of going to my local convenience store down the road. Mainly because of sheer laziness. Lol. I actually had milk and I remembered to wash my coffee cup last night so it was super simple. Lol. Anyway, now I have 45 minutes to kill because I dont really have much to do. Lol. I hope everyone has a great day!3 -
Running out the door and almost forgot to post! I'll have to catch up on everyone's posts later-you're all such an inspiration!
Drink water-64oz min. I'm hoping to take this off my list soon.
Track all my meals today. Overhauled my profile and I've added more meals/snacks to my profile, increased protein goal, etc.
30 min walk with dog in neighborhood.
Gym-weight machines.
Read today's Simple Abundance.
Afternoon, meditate 25 mins.
10pm bedtime-read book, no device.
Fitbit increased to 20,000 steps-still need to do this.
At lunch yesterday I was able to control my portions of Thai food. I drank a lot of water w/the meal too.
Started reading a book I've had for a while "New book of lifting for women" or something like that. It's somewhat technical so I'll have to hilight parts. Learning about how women respond to diet changes, proteins, adding a 4th meal-all interesting.
Print this list & post it on my fridge!

@HGSmith0920 - I hope you mean that it's 12F outside! We're doing The Mysterious Affair at Styles, an adaptation of Agatha Christie's first novel, where she introduces the man of the "little grey cells," Hercule Poirot.2
-
@clicketykeys Yes, I mean outside! Lol. It's probably about 60 inside. We live in a tiny two-room cabin that we heat with space heaters so when it gets really cold like this it gets cold in the house so we bundle up. I'm currently wearing a sweatshirt and bundled under a blanket sitting on the couch. Lol. It's a little warmer in this room because we have a TON of windows in this room, so the sunshine helps. And that sounds awesome! I hope it goes off without a hitch! I haven't been to a play in years. It's kind of funny. My brother is a stage director for a bunch of theaters in Philadelphia which is only about an hour and a half away, so I should probably go see more. He got us tickets to a show called Disgraced a few years back for our anniversary and we got hopelessly lost on the way home. Lol. So I try not to drive into the city anymore! Lol.3
