I hope you don't hurt yourself. And really, you should be doing other exercise too.0

Really, a complete stranger telling you what to do, unsolicited.
I wish you success. I starting doing 200 a day because of this person. So thanks for the inspiration.

I can appreciate the word of caution about overuse injuries. It's actually one of the reasons I'm behind schedule to hit the 100k mark by end of the year, as I make sure to take time off anytime I start to get achy joints.
And absolutely I should be doing other exercises as well, but frankly after I gave up my gym membership to pay for my kids' braces, I got lazy, lol. At least when I was paying for access I felt compelled to use it, whereas it's a lot harder to motivate myself to do something out here in the real world.
But for now, I'm at least keeping my foot in the door of the fitness world, between this and still logging my calorie intake. Looking forward to the day my kids' braces are paid for and I can renew my gym membership. (Yes, there are cheap options around town, but with long hours and a longer commute, my energy level to go somewhere is nothing to write home about. And yes, that's a copout answer. I know it, you know it. But let's not forget one important thing...
...I got you to read this thread, and maybe just think about something for yourself! lol)0 -
Way to go man. Very inspirational, hope you win the lottery or something and can pay the braces of^^0

Half a year in, and I'm on pace for only 90k or so by year's end, short of my desired 100k. Looks like I'm going to have to pick up the pace just a little bit, perhaps doing a few more on work days, maybe doing some on days off if I feel motivated.3

Hi there, I just downloaded this app today, I have seen what you have done so far and it's pretty amazing. I'm always up for a challenge, so starting tomorrow I will join you in your pushup journey. I will set out to do 50,000 pushups by the end of 2018! This equates to 289 pushups every day.0
