These Challenges have brought my weight down to where I use to live (104-107). Love It!
Now to nail it down permanently.
Goal for Round 30: any number <107 lbs
Average weight for January was 106.9 (weighing daily)
Day/Weight/Comment
1/28 107.1
1/29 106.3
1/30 107.3 - my average weight for one week today is 107, so excited to move on to February with a new goal!
1/31 106.0 - Boom!
2/1 107.1 - that's okay, January average is still @ goal (extra sodium yesterday by combining pizza + cottage cheese + ranch dressing)

I am an eat to lose kind of woman and get anywhere from 1500-1800 daily. Which of course is quite sufficient. If you add 7,000 for the 2 lb "gain" ... yeah, No. lol I know I worked my muscles hard, I know I am retaining water for repairs, I know I am eating well, so I also know the gain isn't real.
That's water retention from all that work you did the previous day....building muscle causes lotsa of that! That's a great thing in the long haul...but short term when you see the numbers bouncing up it can be distracting to say the least. You are doing excellent work!!9 -

Height: 5'9"
Starting weight: 240 pounds January 2015
Lowest weight: 152 pounds July 2016
Current weight: 169.8
Goal weight: Under 160
Day/Weight/Comment
01/29 ? (Just starting today, will weigh in tomorrow)
01/30 169.8 (Had a 9.4lb. loss since last I weighed in at my doc appt. on Dec. 8th. I am hoping to just get back to my baseline weight of 160 by April. Have my diet under control right now, but not able to workout yet. Keeping my carbs below or around 100g, and protein up…fat around 20-30%, so far that’s working, but I may need to tweak as I go)
01/31 170.6 (Ate within goals, but didn’t drink enough water. I'm used to weighing in weekly, so the daily fluctuations are playing with my head a bit. I'll just keep going)
02/01 170.4 (5 more days to get a bump down on this scale. I’ve been intermittent fasting on a 16/8 schedule, but today I’ll do a 24 hour and start a 5/2 plan so I can hopefully start to see some results on the scale. I have been eating on point, but again, due to injury, not able to bike, walk or run yet to get a decent burn in. I do feel better at least so there’s an NSV! )

Hey, I’ll take it. *\o/*
01/29: 131.6
We ate out yesterday and I had a chocolate brownie (worth it!) plus I weighed myself before going *ahem* number 2, to be delicate. So I will be better hopefully tomorrow.
01/30: 131.6
Guess I’m just having a fluke or something because I did everything right yesterday. I do feel a little bloated so I will be drinking more water today. *shrug*
01/31: forgot to weigh but overate
02/01: 131.6
Rough day yesterday. My sprained ankle was feeling like it wasn’t healing right, so I went to the doctor. It turns out I’ve been walking around with a fracture for a month, and because of the location it’s going to take at least 2 months to heal. Good news though is that it will be less likely to roll from now on, as my muscles are having to overcompensate for the weakness and now they will be stronger (according to doc). Also, woke up this morning and I’m pretty sure I have the flu.

02/01 = 213.2. Yesterday was another rough day with eating. Hosted a baby shower with my co-workers and got amazing food that I love. Didn’t overeat, but it’s not the healthiest stuff in the world. Dinner would have been okay, but got submarined by a salt bomb I wasn’t expecting (wife not checking sodium levels when she buys groceries). Drank lots of water. Basketball tonight – I haven’t mentioned it, but I also go to the gym and do a full-body workout each time before I play basketball. Going to try REALLY hard to have a good day eating today – planning everything but dinner in advance, and going to try to make dinner relatively healthy as well.

1/28 - 132.4 - Sunday weight, deserved, have had a really rocky past few days food wise and feeling wise. Did run 4 miles on Saturday.
1/29 - did not weigh Monday. Up since forever, headache, eating sweets for comfort and didn't even log yesterday. Sometimes what was working stops meaning anything, for just a minute, and I have to regroup
1/30 - 132.2 - I logged yesterday, drank water, and slept last night. Rising again even though I fell (Thanks holisticpradise for reminding me)
1/31 - 132.0 - just under calories yesterday, 30 min rowing workout but didn't get steps. Poor sleep last night. Today, THE DENTIST (twice!)
2/1 - 132.0 - a squinch over calories yesterday, rocking 3 mile run. Lots of emo lately.

@cschmitz110515 You amaze me with the "Floor" count you get daily!! Do you live on a Mountain, in a 10 story house??!!?? lol
If you want it, you'll find a way. If you don't, you'll find an excuse.
Being Fat is Hard.
Losing Weight is Hard.
Maintenance is Hard.
Choose Your Hard.
Sassy, my floor count (per my Fitbit) is a combination of things:- I work a desk job on the 3rd floor of my building & never use the elevator. Throughout the workday, I take "stairs breaks" to the basement, then back up. Usually 4-5x. Helps me from being too sedentary, since I'm at my computer all day.
- Hubby and I live in a 2-story house. Treadmill & pantry & storage in basement, bedroom 2nd floor. Easy to make multiple trips at home, especially when I forget what I went to the basement for.
- When I walk dog, Fitbit counts elevation changes as "floors". I learned this when I tracked our walks on MapMyWalk. We are not in a hilly area, but not flat either.
I love the "choose your hard".7 -

Aaack! But in fairness, I'm retaining everything. Not sure why (but lower carb means a lot lower fiber than usual and we went out for lunch yesterday so the combo is probably it). Anyway, I'm up today but expect a drop soon. I'm happy if I stay under 150 for the next few weeks.
01/29 - 147.2
OK, right direction, but I still feel bloated and puffy. Not sure why - I'm drinking lots of water. I have gone over my calorie goal the past two days, but still.... Anyway, back on track today, cutting carbs (thanks for the nudge, @quiltingjaine, and I'f off for a walk in a few minutes. Still aiming simply to maintain, but that's in the 146's, not higher!

01/29: 121.4 lbs. hmm... I have done so well last round. Then I started a cheat day on last Saturday. I only had moderate carbs, but the damage is big. So, cheat day won’t work? Here is from Mr. Google: Carbs break up keto Cheating Affects Your Fat Adaptation. Your body has to make changes, such as altering specific hormones and increasing enzyme production, to optimize conditions for burning fat as fuel on a ketogenic diet. Having cheat meals regularly can prevent your body from continuing this process long enough to stay in ketosis.
