01/28 / 285.2 I am not drinking enough water! Currently it is 1 degree outside. Dehydration is Real!
01/29 / 284.6 I went to lunch with a friend yesterday and was afraid to eat! Turns out if I’d eaten everything I ordered, I still would have been under my goal. Not everything had a calorie count provided, and I had to wait to log it in until I had my laptop. Thanks to the fantastic MFP database, all items had counts!

Aaack! But in fairness, I'm retaining everything. Not sure why (but lower carb means a lot lower fiber than usual and we went out for lunch yesterday so the combo is probably it). Anyway, I'm up today but expect a drop soon. I'm happy if I stay under 150 for the next few weeks.

OK, right direction, but I still feel bloated and puffy. Not sure why - I'm drinking lots of water. I have gone over my calorie goal the past two days, but still.... Anyway, back on track today, cutting carbs (thanks for the nudge, @quiltingjaine, and I'f off for a walk in a few minutes. Still aiming simply to maintain, but that's in the 146's, not higher!

This group challenge has really been helping me through the fluctuations. I had a really bad tendency to get frustrated and think that I'll never get there. Definitely getting stronger so the slow pace is expected. But I have been a bit lazy on my diet. If I want this I'm the only one who can do it for me.

1/29 - did not weigh Monday. Up since forever, headache, eating sweets for comfort and didn't even log yesterday. Sometimes what was working stops meaning anything, for just a minute, and I have to regroup

I’ve just seen this thread and hopefully this will motivate me a little more! My heart is in it but not sure I am doing enough? Just had a baby 6 months ago and I am desperate to get back to my pre-baby weight! I thought I ate healthy throughout it all but obviously not! Eek! Clearly all the pregnancy yoga and swimming did more damage than good! Ha!
My GW for this round: 81 kg; or 178 lbs (not sure if that’s realistic? But what the hell let’s give it a whirl!)
Can I work in kg?!

01/29 * 82.3 kg * Did a low intensity cardio workout, although I am able to train a little more now since having the little one, I still am not fit enough to hit a high intensity training session yet. (Slowly but surely!) Overall, including exercise, consumed under daily calorie allowance.

1/28 230lbs- excited to see that number go down!
1/29 225.4lbs- weighed in the pm vs am. Not sure if that’s why such a large loss or may just be water weight. Due to start my cycle so maybe that plays a part? Either way love the fact that I’m already down! Also been logging everything and staying within my allotted calories. I’ve made sure to meet my goal of 10,000 steps for the last 5 days.

Had the bomb-digity last couple of rounds. Expected a big drop in R28 - shedding all the holiday gain. Ecstatic with the huge R30 progress! Craving more!
Officially 10 pounds lighter than my previous MFP attempt. So happy to have achieved this in a healthy, sustainable way. No more diet pills, prepackaged meal schemes, and other whatnot that I would just gain back plus some afterwards. It's a lifestyle, not a diet.

01/28: 144.0 Good start. Friday's delicious pizza and Saturday's yummy Mexican food haven't revealed themselves on the scale yet. Within calories though, so hopefully the damage won't be too bad.
01/29: 144.8 Not a bad weekend gain, especially considering last weekend's 1.6 pounds.

Really proud of the changes in eating habits, too. Weekend indulgences are more in check these days. I get the "healthiest" veggie pizza in town, with wheat crust, and eat half the amount than the greasy gut bomb pizza I used to get. The next morning I'll reheat a slice and throw an egg on top. I box up half of my restaurant dinners before I start eating and work in the leftovers on lower calorie or heavy workout days. On Mom's Monthly Movie Night, Mom and I split a small popcorn, instead of the usual medium one and I don't add salt anymore (tastes just fine without). I order a "small" (32oz!) 1/2 Coca-Cola 1/2 Coca-Cola Zero. These are small changes that easily incorporate into my social life without feeling deprived.

Sundays are my rest days. If I get anything over 5,000 steps I've done to much. lol Stats for my day were: 4,739 steps, 3 floors, 2.2 miles ... Total active time: 6 minutes
01/29 196.4 Today was a good! The weather here has been unseasonable warm(ish) so Its been quite a pleasure to walk in. Though truth be told, I am a Polar Bear who loves the snow, I suppose that helps. lol Stats for the day were: 17,993 steps, 7 floors, 8.34 miles ... Total active time: 131 minutes

01/28 - 97.8 Ate within calorie limit, but as is the case with every weekend, I'm not as strict on sodium intake
01/29 - 99.4 - Yikes! The salt I'm sure, but not just - yesterday was a hard day resisting food
01/30 - 99 - From what I've learned from these past challenges is that it generally takes 3 days to undo salt damage for me. The only difference food wise is that I've increased my healthy fats - i'm flirting with the idea of a keto diet but since I know absolutely nothing about it, im doing research first. Tips and pointers appreciated though
