Unable to lose weight with calorie deficit

Hi
I started calorie counting around december and tracked more diligently from january.
I am 5'4" and had a baby in 2016 november. I was generally little overweight for my height at 146lbs. After delivery in the 1st year i was around 25 lbs more than my pre-preg weight.
In these 2 and half months, i only lost 7 lbs and i am at 165lbs now. its fluctuating though im eating 1300 calories and working out 3-4 times a week (twice cardio and twice strength training)
Its really hard to have only 1300 calories but not seeing faster results is demotivating me.
Please advise.. looking for motivation.

Get a food scale. Use it to weigh all your food. Log everything into your food diary. No skipping, cheating or forgetting.

How are you counting your calories? Are you weighing your food on a food scale?
7 pounds in 2.5 months is actually fairly reasonable. 7 lbs/10 weeks is 0.75 lbs per week. With 25 lbs to lose, you should be aiming at ~1 lb/week, so you're just about on track!11 -

But i was having a lot more calories before , lots of carbs , which are drastically reduced in the past 2 months.

If you weren't using a food scale, and logging everything, you don't truly know how many calories you were eating. Weight loss is about calories, not carbs.9 -
If you're not losing weight, you're not in a calorie deficit. Simple as that.13

Once the lower carb diet flushes the water out, it doesn't do any more than any other deficit.

I am using measuring cups mostly. and fruits i enter from the database based on size medium etc
rice i measure in measuring cups and enter that. other packaged foods directly from the nutrition details on the labels, i enter that.1 -

You need to purchase a food scale and start weighing everything on it. What you consider a medium fruit may be much larger. Measuring cups can easily hold more than a serving depending on how tight you pack things in. And prepackaged items can even be up to 20% off in their weight.12 -

Wait until you get a food scale and measure out a "2 tablespoon" serving of peanut butter by weight the first time. Prepare to cry.14 -

So your saying that I counted my calories perfectly over the past year!! My weight hadn’t fluctuated even a lb!! I only started to track my food a week ago, only tracking for my macros! I weighed 195 lbs last year January, and this January as I only weigh myself once a year at my yearly physical!! CICO is not true!! Your weight should not fluctuate if you eat Whole Foods such as grains vegetable fruits nuts and seeds! Eat fat get fat!! It’s not how much you eat , it’s what your eating that’s goi g to determine your health and weight!! Keep dieting and keep starving!! Or eat right and stay healthy and slim, your choice!! The definition of insanity is doubt the same thing all your life and expecting a different result!!63

Weight does fluctuate due to sodium/carb intake, hormones (especially in females with their menstrual cycle), increased exercise, stress, etc. And fat does not make you fat...excess calories do. If CICO wasn't true, thousands and thousands of people would have failed doing what this site helped them do.8 -

You lost 7 lbs, how is that 'unable to lose weight'?
Also 146 lbs isn't overweight for 5'4".
And you might be eating more than you think.8 -

You know why they gain it back? Because they go back to their old habits. They don't eat to the maintenance needs of their goal weight.
Fat is an essential nutrient. I like eating enough to keep my hair.21
