Good job! You'll do fine, just make sure to sleep at least 8 hours every night before you run minimum and if you wake up and still feel tired, then sleep earlier than usual to get more shut eyes.

Did W5 D2 tonight... the 8 minutes went well, and I actually ran part of the 5 minute walk. This program really works!

    Way to go.

I'll be here. starting week 6 tomorrow with an 8 minutes interval, following it up with 10 and finishing it off with 22.

I'm doing it even if I have to walk.

    Thanks, I appreciate you.

Baby steps, look ahead to the next session but not too far ahead and we can always walk it if it's too hard lol.

Made it out this morning. Still sore from spinning on Sunday but I dragged my *kitten* out of bed at 6am and did week 4 day 2! Still not running most of it, so may just do an extra day of it! Thinking of repeating it on Thursday and Saturday then start week 5 next Tuesday... Fingers crossed!

Objectively speaking Going from week 4-5-6 is a smaller jump and is easier than going from 3-4.

6-7 is really the next biggest jump because it's the first one with no rest intervals... so you've got to manage your own pace.

Keep it up! You're doing great.

    Done with W6D1 myself.

W4D2 done. I felt like dying towards the end but I pushed myself to keep running. I didnt want to have to repeat one of the days again so I kept telling myself 'one more minute only'. and I made it!

@tirowow12385 thank you for advice. Thats what i've done. Not think about it and just follow the instructions..hahaha

@stanmann571 thank you! I have a bit of comfort knowing at least next week will be a smaller jump and hopefully I can manage it.

I try to push hard and only limit the amount of walking to a couple of seconds at the end, some days are worse than others, Good job on your run.

W7D1 done! Hardest one yet for some reason, I was ready to quit about half way through and the second half took about everything I had just to keep going. And that was weird because I did W6D3 relatively easily. I need to figure out what I'm doing differently.

Woke up at 6am and just had an urge to go out for a run... Yeah, weird I know.... So I did week 4 again. Not sure if the weather will allow me to get out tomorrow or Sunday (apparantly a cold snap coming!) If I do get out tomorrow and Sunday I'll walk, keep the legs moving but let them recover a bit!

I had a similar day doing W6D2, did 10 minute intervals, went faster than I have been running most weeks on the second leg and gassed out with 4 minutes left. Lol.

W6D3 done. The next three weeks will be 25-30 minute runs, no walking breaks.

Well done! ❤️ I'm due to do w5 D1 today or tomorrow (depending on the snow!) So it's reassuring to know someone found it achievable! :-)

Great job folks, it does get easier, though there will always be tough runs.

W5 d1 done... Couldn't run all of it but anytime I had to walk I counted to 10 and started again!

Done with W7D1, my longest run so far in the C25K app and just the first of three 25 minutes run with no walks I'll be doing, I did alright and decided to use the Strava app, I saw one of the users on my feed using it and thought I'd try it out. So far so good, not bad with an obese male with over 31 BMI.

Ooh... Looks a bit more detailed than my Runkeeper. Might have a look! :-)

That happened to me on Monday, it was my last run of Week 7 and I felt great so I picked up the pace a little. Bad idea.

W5,D2 done. I was surprised with this one. I thought it would have been the same intervals as W5,D1 but then it was different with longer runs! I was able to follow it through though fortunately!

I've recently decided to do a 14km track in August with my friends, to help motivate me finish this c25k and then hopefully I can move on learning how to run for 10km!

I'll try that out too, I was using another app before Strava but the updates made the data inaccurate and I've been looking for another to use. I'm liking Strava.
