W7D1 done! Hardest one yet for some reason, I was ready to quit about half way through and the second half took about everything I had just to keep going. And that was weird because I did W6D3 relatively easily. I need to figure out what I'm doing differently.

I had a similar day doing W6D2, did 10 minute intervals, went faster than I have been running most weeks on the second leg and gassed out with 4 minutes left. Lol.

That happened to me on Monday, it was my last run of Week 7 and I felt great so I picked up the pace a little. Bad idea.

Yup, I dial it back on the pace after a good run now.

I'm gonna be doing more than dialing back, I'm going to skip W7D2 and wait and see if when I can get back to C25K program, strained my lower back yesterday lifting weights. Crossing my fingers the rest will have me ready by Sunday to do W7D3.

I decided to redo week 6 and I'm so glad. I had hit all the time marks, but I'm really interested in the mileage this time around. Since I'm nowhere close to a 10 minute mile, I'm working on getting that mileage before I go to week 7.

Awesome, I undertook the C25K to improve my mileage, I was running 12 minute 30 second a mile. Losing weight and increasing the number of steps you take per minute really helped.

Skipping W7D3, got plantar fasciitis in left foot despite not running and not remembering twisting it, It's probably from lifting.

Just gonna rest up and do week 8 on Wednesday.

Thank you, I am, my foot and back are better so I went out and ran W7D3, this is my fastest session so far, I ran my last mile in 9 minutes very comfortably. For all intents and purposes, week 7 is a success.

Ok, so I went a bit AWOL for a bit. Husband was off work and kids are of school and I had an assignment due, which bizarrely means LESS time to get out running! :D but I'm back now. Did week 4 today just to test the waters and see how the legs were! Had also just completed 10 mins on rower and a spin class so was not expecting much! Was on a treadmill so I increased the gradient.
Did it ok, covered 4km in the 29 mins so will go back up to week 5 on Monday, and hopefully will be back on the roads, treadmills bore me! ;)

W6d3 done! First time jogging in a park but it flew by a lot faster than being on a treadmill.

I can't stand the treadmill, jogging outdoors is 10000x better. Keep it up people. Y'all doing great.

My parents bought one years ago, I never warmed up to it, I live near the equator and it's warm all year round and I'm thankful I don't have to use one annually when it's snowing.

Just started the last week C25K, skipped W8D3 due to Easter, finally ran 3.1 miles or 5k at 32 minutes. New PR, my old one was 39 minutes.

Week 5 day 1 attempted yesterday... Not a chance... Legs were still tired from sat and Sunday. Will try it again on Thursday evening and see if I can manage it then.

I'm in to Week 2 but got sidetracked. I'm confident that I can start back again at Week 2. Starting over from scratch is just not easy as Week 2 still feels really easy. I will report my progress.

I did some lunges with weights the other day and came away with sore glutes and hammies, couldn't finish even a mile of W9D2 the other day so i did a do-over today after resting up and was able to finish 4 miles, I'm still sore but i feel good enough to finish the program tomorrow. Finally! Lol.

Decided to attempt to start back at Week 3, Day 1 as Week 2 is just super easy for me. Glad that I didn't doubt myself. Did Week 3 very easily so, it's onwards and upwards.

I've completed my C25K program. I'm pretty stoked, I'm gonna be doing a bridge to 10k after this. Only 30 more minutes of running than the C25K, very do-able.

I love the podrunner series! The 8k and 10k programs have coaching tips too that I love!
