    Round 38: SW 237; GW 235

4/18 / 237 / Under calories yesterday. I'm back to getting at least some activity in every day, but my knees are starting to bark a bit.

4/19 / 236 / Within calories again by a smidge. I stuck with just my home-to-work and back walking rather than adding anything else to see if my knees feel better. So far, so good. Working from home today, so I'll have the flexibility to do whatever I choose!

4/20 / 236.8 / Weighed myself two hours earlier than yesterday, so I'm not at all bothered by the tick upward. I bounced on the trampoline last night and was able to go 8 minutes straight. This probably doesn't sound like much to y'all, but that thing kicks my butt! When I first got it, I could go about 2 minutes, then pause, then another 2 minutes, etc. After bouncing, I did stationary bike for another 13 minutes and called it good. Going to a baseball game tonight, which is hard with Celiac. I need to eat beforehand, but sometimes the timing makes that tricky.

4/21 / 235.6 / I like it! My knee is unhappy. I will take a couple of rest days.

4/22 / 239 / Wow. I had pho yesterday but 3.4 pounds gained? Bodies is weird.

    4/23 / 237.6 / Back on the downswing after my catastropho. :D

4/24 / 236.4 / Still heading back down. Today is my birthday!

@mz144 In my case, I would expect to see that hot fudge sundae on the scale Friday or Saturday. Our bodies are weird!

@puttyputty Had a note to you yesterday but lost it. Happy birthday! LOL at “catastropho”

4/24 136.5 on MY SCALE I’ll take it! Down 1.5# during a party weekend at THIS age! Here’s my secret-I took what I needed to make my BPC to start the day right, I offered to help where needed causing me to totally miss the appetizer table, make food choices appropriate to my meal plan, didn’t overindulge in adult beverages. One tequila shot (Friday) and one vodka soda each, Friday and Saturday.
4/25 136.5 Below initial goal but continuing on. I am thrilled. Cruising in 10 days. I CAN DO THIS!

You are doing so well! Thanks for being one of my inspirations.

@DebCountsAll Thank you! I am sooo enjoying reading every post on here and do hope I inspire others. Thank you for letting me know!

@puddlegoober My Brain is stuck in some other time or space so don’t remember addressing your rapid weight loss. YES! Some people lose like that for a few days, some for a couple of weeks. It is, I am sure, mostly water but still a sign that things are happening. Personally, I would skip the chocolate and make chocolate whip using HWC, Hershey’s Special Dark Cocoa, and a couple of drops of stevia liquid. I haven’t found any reasonably priced sugar free chocolate bars.

I've been gone for awhile, but I am back! Been in Virginia for almost a month; my son was in the hospital for 21 days, so that meant that I, too, was in the hospital 21 days! After he came home, I stayed with him a couple of days just to make sure he wasn't going right back! I give God all of the praise for seeing him through; his spleen ruptured, and he almost bled to death! I went a little haywire while I was there, and the scale tells the story! But, that's history; today is a new day, and I'm ready to start over again! HIS MERCIES ARE NEW EVERY MORNING!

Oh so good to hear this! I was stuck in a hospital during roughly the same timeframe, but without the positive outcome. How is it that hospital food is JUNK?!? There was usually only one entree a day that I could eat and quantify easily and without going off my plan. Everything else was awful.

I am so happy to hear your son is doing well. That was a very serious issue.
