Lets see!1

Spanx for men, if your plan doesn’t get you quite there.1

you do realize the more exercise you do the more you will retain water to repair your muscles. core workouts also wont target the fat on your midsection either. you CANT spot reduce fat. not to mention if you cut carbs too low you will have to up your sodium, potassium and magnesium or you may end up with keto flu if carbs are low enough.otherwise you will end up with electrolyte issues . you are trying to do too much too soon.2 -
Thanks, I will try my best!

I've got several sets(not spanx brand), but even when I don't need them, they definitely rearrange the discomfort.
They do add a tiny bit of bulk, so make sure you've actually got room to fit into your trousers/jacket after everything gets rearranged.

Yes I have lost weight. I am seeing a coach to develop a tailored workout plan. I need to lift weights so that I dont loose my muscle mass.1

Guys, have you noticed that when you are trying to loose weight & you hear about proteins, resistance training etc. and you kinda get side tracked and start chugging protein shakes which in turn slow your weight loss? That's happening to me from many years, so now my eyes are on the ball. First get to 8% body fat and BMI 21, after that gain muscle, bulk on protein items.3

Protein shakes only slow weight loss if they contribute to you consuming too many calories. Protein shakes on their own do not cause weight gain.
Gaining muscle requires a surplus (keeping it small limits fat gain).... Surely you know that if you have put on the amount of muscle you claim? Just eating a lot of protein doesn't guarantee muscle gain.4 -
protein shakes hasnt halted my weight loss at all. right now im maintaining and still drink protein shakes and have had no issue in the past drinking them.2

I spoke to my coach about my goals. He suggested that I focus on swimming, cardio, lots of core workout and continue with my low-calorie plant-based diet. He was the Australian National Bodybuilding champion some years back. He told me to stay away from weight training if my short-term goal is to fit into my 40" jacket. I am doing what my coach told me, I will update my results.1

I went to my coach and told him I want to loose suit size and improve my silhouette to a more hollywood look. I will update my results, I am excited. Muscles cant be lost, they can be wasted or depleted of glycogen as muscle memory is a neural process.5

also if you are eating too little calories your body will use what it can for fuel and yes that does mean lean mass/muscle as well as fat and so on. research muscle catabolism/anabolism. you still havent said how low of calories your diet is either. and plant based isnt going to make it any different or better when it comes to weight loss.but hey its your choice0 -

I am a senior corporate executive, I want to look stellar in my designer Calvin Klein & Hugo Boss suits. Period. I took professional guidance from an international & Australian bodybuilding coach-Glen, he made a diet plan for me and I followed it to the 't' without a single cheat meal. It took me 45 days. I ran 6km in the evening daily, walked everywhere I went, I did 1 hour of gym-based cardio daily. Slept for 8-10 hours as sleeplessness destroys willpower. No YouTube/Social Media after 9 PM so that I could wake up and do fasted running early morning.
Diet - I ate NO MEAT, derived my protein from 2 eggs in breakfast. I ate fats like avocado, tahini, almonds (20 almonds per day), fetta cheese, 300 grams of stir-fried Broccoli & Asparagus each day. I ate 4-6 small meals each day. For sugar cravings - I would eat 4 strawberries with 1 spoon Tahini each night and it helped me sleep without cravings and being hungry at night. My proteins were low and still, I did not lose any muscle mass as I was doing vigorous exercises. I lost 8 kg body weight and dropped 1 jacket size (from 42-40 inches).
IMPORTANT: I did not do any weight training. Simply did bodyweight exercises like air squats, push ups, sit ups, 10 minutes of daily jump rope. Glen told me to do NO WEIGHT TRAINING, No Protein Shakes, ONLY WHOLE FOODS, under 100 grams of carbs daily. This is the main advice I got from a 3-time bodybuilding champion & it worked for me. I lost 8 kg in 40 days and still maintaining it. If you are doing weights and still got a gut, you look bulky in a suit although you got muscles- whatever you are doing is not working for you, so simply listen!7 -
come on people, the most important part of this thread is knowing that OP owns not only a Calvin Klein suit, but also a Hugo Boss one too...6

All,
Since it seems we can't play nice in here, and OP was able to get what he needed done, this thread will remain closed.
@d090882 if you want to show off you progress and suits swing on over to this thread and share some pis
