    Original starting weight (January 2018) - 168.2
    July starting weight - 147.4
    July goal - 145.5

    June 30 - 147.4
    July 1 - 148.6
    July 8 - 146.6
    July 15- 145.2 (was under 145 three days in a row July 12, 13, and 14).
    July 22 - 147.4 -- just back from a river trip
    July 29 -
    July 31 -

Total loss for July : zero pounds. Or is it 1.2 pounds? I guess it depends when the starting point is. I was down 3.6 pounds in June and 3.4 pounds in May. But I was up 2.0 pounds between May 31 and June 1. So I think I'm over-reporting my losses.

I attained my weight loss goal this month when I hit 144.8 and ultimately 144.2. As such, I moved from weight loss to weight maintenance and recomposition to metabolize a little more fat and build a little more lean mass.

Good point. I've been so strict but now actually put back on 2lbs 🙁....I just don't understand why as definately calorie deficit and exercise. Demoralising but mustn't give in as will then comfort eat to make myself feel better. lol socialising is really hard as alcohol just makes my resolve crumble and I have a whole load of birthday dinners and BBQ coming up in August

I feel your pain. I am in about the same place as you, I have been bouncing between 205 and 202.6 for what seems like forever. Seems a few of us are stuck right now. Hang in there, we are all in this together. Our strong relationship with gravity isn't as strong as our resolve to beat it!

I find sometimes even though the numbers don't cooperate, my body is still changing for the better. I wore a pair of pants today that I haven't worn in years, and I think they fit me better now, than when I bought them. Got to take the victories where we can find them.

We'll get there. ONEderland is within reach.... Hopefully sooner rather than later for both of us!

I'm totally agree!! Plateaus are so irritating! Seeing no progress even with good food choices and added exercise is maddening! But what's the alternative? I'm NOT going back to the habits that made me 50+ pounds overweight. Hope you don't either. I felt like crap. I'll hang tough and take the plateau lol!

Thanks guys! It really does help to know I'm not alone in this. Still frustrating but I know it will be worth it if I keep working, and yes, definitely don't want to go back!

It has been a rough roller-coaster ride of a month for me in personal life and health. I gave "birth" to keto rash! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT google it! Don't lose your lunch on my behalf. My sister had some divine intervention and God put it on her heart to tell me to make this remedy (bee pollen/turmeric) --and it actually works! I'm sleeping better and slowly recovering. Ascetically, my back, chest and arms look like a busted science project but, through God's mercy and grace, I am recovering! Oh, and I sprained my upper back--completely unrelated injury. When it rains, it pours! I'm a survivor. This too shall pass.....2 Corinth 12:7-9.

In other news, I haven't weighed in since, well, about a week ago or so. I fluctuated between 187.4/188.4. Right now my focus is on recovery. And, yes, the Ketogenic diet isn't for everyone but I still love it and I am grateful for the weight I've lost because of it. My body just needs more carbs oppose to what the diet suggests.

****New diet adjustments: moderate/low carb/moderate fats

    July 11th:187.4
    July 16th: 188.4

    Next weigh-in: August: 18th

God's blessings to you and I will keep you in my prayers 😊

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
