7/07- 231.4 Pleasantly surprised I’m holding steady from yesterday. NSV- Did great at the wedding. Was careful how much I ate for dinner and ate enough of the cake to appreciate the taste of it. Saw an acquaintance I hadn’t seen in 2 months and she told me I was looking good. She’s very PC so she wouldn’t come straight out and say “You’ve lost some weight.” Nice way to start the round.
7/08- 231.8 No explanation for the bump except maybe some GI issues. Good food day yesterday. Family event today = loads of food. Aiming for good food choices.
7/09- 232.4 my scale seems to like this number. Disheartened that the numbers are going the wrong way. I did everything I was supposed to do this weekend. I was especially proud since I had two social events and I felt I did well at both.
7/10- 231.4 I feel like the scale and I are subjects of a Katy Perry song. At least it’s down to this round’s SW... for now.
7/11- 230.4 Starting to question the accuracy of my scale. Lots of .4s logged. Regardless though, there’s a pep in my step today.
7/12- 231.4 Why???????!!!!!!!!???????!!!!!!
7/13- 230.0 The scale was a flirt and flashed 229s for a bit. Made my heart skip a beat. What a tease!
7/14- 229.8 Well, hello 229s. It’s been a while since I’ve seen this number. Gonna make sure this sticks for a couple days before logging it officially. First time logging two consecutive days of losses this round. The scale has been frustrating but I’ve been doing well staying within my calorie goals everyday.
7/15- 229.2 A glimmer of hope that I might end the round in 228s! Decent day yesterday. Dinner log was a guesstimate given it was a hole in the wall Asian place. Didn’t feel like I drank enough water because we were on the go.

7/07: 168.8
7/08: 167.6/Started C25k a couple of weeks ago, making progress with my runs and feeling good.
7/09: 167.6/Sounds good.
7/10: 166.6/Cautiously optimistic. Could not get up this morning for a run, perhaps will try tonight.
7/11: 167.0/Ran last night and this morning. Had to do lunges as part of strength training today, my thighs will be screaming tomorrow. Tomorrow is rest day.
7/12:166.8/Rest day and getting together with friends = anxiety over calorie consumption mixed with I don’t want to get mental about what I am eating and let it ruin my day. So a mix of both, choose wisely, but have some fun and if I go over it will be okay, it’s a ‘marathon not a sprint’ mantra for today.
7/13: 167.0/Reversed my numbers yesterday, ack, now it’s correct! Went for run this am. Did not eat dinner, lack of options and time, don’t like when this happens. Alcohol free for 30 days today!
7/14: 167.0/Blah, go away 167!!
7/15: 166.4/TOM came today, was that was the reason for all the 167's, at least that is what I am wishing for. Halfway through C25k. Got a new car and celebrated with pizza, so not a great eating day yesterday.8 -

7/11 174.2 excessively exercised today, hoping to see that reflected in my weight for tomorrow. Drank 1.5 liters of water
7/12 173.4
7/13 172.7 didn't exercise yesterday all that much. Slightly disappointed but saw somewhat of a loss so I am still happy. Back to the routine. Drank 1 liter of water yesterday, I want to try and complete at least 2 liters today
7/14 173 exercised, even though I didn't feel like it, drank water but still only 1 liter. Still shooting for 2 *crosses fingers* tomorrow I am due for my period and I am feeling a little bloated, hopefully after the first couple of days but my body will drop those last 3 pounds. Determined to hit that 170 by the end of this 10 day challenge!!!
7/15 172.4 exercised like crazy yesterday to the point of needing a nap in the middle of the day, which I never do. I was right about aunt flow... that b**ch. 1.5 liters of water. So far all week I have stayed under my caloric goal. Today is going to be rough, I'm craving chocolate .... help me 😆😆

July is the month that I will assess what foods I can eat, once in a whi!e, outside of keto. I do not expect any loss of weight. If I eat something that makes me gain or not feel well, then "OFF WITH ITS HEAD! Lol, no, but definitely off of my foods list.

•7/7 - 192.2
•7/8 - 192.6 - I guess I'll be seeing every increment of 192 this challenge. Although, after what I ate today, I expect to see up to 194. I enjoyed my son's Belgian waffles again today. I planned for 2 and thats what I ate at a cost of over 130 grams of carbs, 110 net carbs. EGADS!
•7/9 - 192 - Ended up being 135g carbs / 112g net after eating some green beans for dinner.
•7/10 - 192 - A normal high carb day for me on keto yesterday, 44g, 41 net. Salad greens, lime juice for my water, salsa and a few tablespoons of crispy red peppers as a salad topping.
•7/11 - 191.6 - Oh my, what a surprise! I thought my scale would read 192.4 for sure (I think that's one I skipped) or 193 upwards to 194. Yesterday, I kept the children while my DIL worked. It was the usual busy, fun chaos and I did manage to eat breakfast. I even ate a small peach and several strawberries. 35 net carbs for the day. No second meal for me though (peanut butter to the rescue) and not enough water until after they left. I weighed 5 times and the averaged total was 191, so I chose the number I saw twice. Maybe I will see an increase tomorrow.
•7/12 - 191.6 - Okay. Yesterday carbs were salad and a half cup of watermelon. 35g, 31 net carbs. I had to run errands and that always alters my eating plan later in the day. I ate dinner a little later than usual. I cut back the watermelon from a full cup and did not eat guacamole that I had in my food diary. I had no appetite for it.
•7/13 - 191.4 - BMI hovering above overweight. Another busy day yesterday, so I had to revise my food plan. Too much prep between my dinner and DH & DS's dinner. I just ate what they ate keto - ized 53g carbs, 37g net carbs. Lemon juice, celery, a roma tomato, 1/4 cup cantaloupe, and salad greens. Retaining some fluid today, fingers are stiff and my problem knee feels a bit tight.
•7/14 - 189.4 - "hunches shoulders" go figure. 55g carbs, 39g net carbs yesterday. Low carb flatbread, spinach, salad, small peach, jalapeno, whole roma tomato. All I can say is FAT ADAPTATION IN THE HOUSE!
•7/15 - 190.2 - Oh, the weight I cruised by. My downward weights reminds me of my family, EVERYONE has to have special attention from me. Lol. 55g carbs, 38g net carbs. Lettuce, celery and apple in my chicken salad, small peach. Most of my carbs yesterday were in cottage cheese and peanut butter, my go to no fuss fat and protein bomb.

7/7 at 5:00 / 230.6 / Urk!
7/8 at 10:45 / 230.4 / Terrible eating. Too much running around. Too little drinking with too much salt. On the plus side, yesterday we went to NYC and saw the Statue of Liberty and were able to climb into the crown. Something like 350 steps from the ground to her crown, with the second half going up a tiny, twisting staircase. It was lots of fun and we all got a bit wobbly on the way down. I now have a really weird sunburn on a spot where I guess I missed putting on sunscreen.
7/9 at 8:00 / 229.4 / I had a much better eating day yesterday and drank lots of fluids. This week should be a very simple week. Fingers crossed!
7/10 at 6:15 / 229 / Good eating day yesterday. Today, I'm taking part in a challenge where my only drink is water. I don't know how capable I am of that! I love my Diet Coke! I hit my head really hard during my commute. I have a bit of a headache, but I think things are okay. I'm on a bit of high alert right now.
7/11 at 6:00 / 228 / Good eating. I made it through day 1 of no Diet Coke. Can I make it two in a row?
7/12 at 8:45 / 226.8 / Good eating yesterday. My second day of no Diet Coke, but I'm working from home today and I just didn't feel like going for a third day in a row. Nice drop in weight. Of course, it's a much later weigh in, too!
7/13 at 6:05 / 227.6 / A bit of a bump up, but it's a much earlier time. I'm doing really well and have no complaints. I'm back to drinking only water today.
7/14 at 8:15 / 226 / Woot. Had another good day. And today is a heavy exercise day. Planks!
7/15 at 8:25 / 227.6 / INTENSE exercise day yesterday (part of an MFP challenge that had me doing some extreme cardio). I ate a bit more than normal and I'm sure I'm a bit dehydrated today, but it's also probably my muscles holding on to some water. I did 50 burpees, y'all! FIFTY!

Day/Weight/Comment
7/07: Weight = 164.5 (down .4 from yesterday) Happy to see the scale moving in the right direction to start off this challenge! Yesterday was a good day - was able to squeeze in a short run between thunderstorms and completed day 19 of my exercise challenge which was a Posterior Chain workout (Thigh Jacks, Elevated Bridge Lifts, Triceps Dips, Swimmers, Single Leg Tabletops, 3-Way Calf Raises). So what I learned yesterday, is that I have SUPER weak back muscles. I've found in past workouts that doing Supermans are hard for me but the Swimmer's yesterday showed me just how weak my back is. Swimmers = lie on your stomach with your arms and legs fully extended - lift your arms and legs up and begin to paddle, alternating right leg, left arm up, then left leg, right arm like a swimmer, keep your lower back engaged for 45 seconds x 3. So that's something I definitely need to work on. On to day 20 today which is Cardio Ladders. I hope everyone has a great start to their weekend and to this challenge
7/08: Weight = 162.3 (down 2.2 from yesterday). I KNOW this is not a real loss. Slept in this morning and weighed-in super late so that will account for this low number. I don't expect this to be my weight tomorrow but as long as it is below 164.5 tomorrow, I'll be good. Yesterday I was below calories, on target with macros and completed my day 20 exercises. Around 10 p.m. I found myself doing a few walking laps of my house to get my Fitbit to 10,000 steps - so silly, but hey, it is making me move more. It's a beautiful day here today, and not hot or humid like last week, so going to go enjoy a nice run and then get my day 21 challenge workout. Probably grilling out tonight, love lazy summer days!
7/09: Weight = 162.3 Didn't expect this number to stick around, very surprised but happy! I still won't believe this is a real loss for another day or two. Yesterday was the last day of the break in the heat wave, going back up this week, so I enjoyed being outside and had a great run and then we cooked out last night. Husband cooked a flank steak, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers on the grill and he and our daughter had fajitas and I skipped the tortilla and had mine on top of a brown rice/quinoa grain salad, delicious! I completed day 21 of my exercise challenge which was all about back strengthening, which I need. Capped of the evening watching the Tour de France (so addicted to this every summer), so all in all a nice relaxing weekend. My daughter has extended school year (just 3 days a week during July only) starting this week and we live relatively close to where it is being held, so I'll be walking her there for drop off and walk back for pick-up, so should be adding in some extra calorie burn for the next month. Have a great start to your week, everyone!
7/10: Weight = 161.8 (down .5 from yesterday) I *think* I've broken through my plateau, I want to see another day in this range and then feel like these are real losses. Yesterday was a good day, I ate under calories and hit my macros, no alcohol, no gluten, lots of water and completed my day 22 challenge exercise which was a lateral/side body circuit workout. Also got in a 30 minute walk with my daughter to do a trial run to see how long it would take to get her to summer school, 15 minutes there and 15 minutes back. Although my plan is to walk her there for drop off and then run home and then run back for pick-up and walk home with her. Anything to get that extra calorie burn! My big happy moment yesterday was when I caught my daughter looking at me and then she said "Mommy, I can see it, you are losing weight. You look different than you did". That being said, I am always careful being the mother of an almost teenage girl, that I tell her I am doing this to get my fitness back and be strong and healthy not to be skinny.
7/11: Weight = 161.8 (same as yesterday) I'm down 10.2 lbs since I recommitted to my weight loss in June. I'm really happy to reach this 1st milestone! Yesterday was good all around, got in lots of exercising and got my most steps since I got my fitbit last week, ate under calories and didn't have any gluten or alcohol. I did my day 23 exercise challenge yesterday which was a full body workout and I'm on tired legs today. Luckily, the scheduled workout for today is Active Recovery with 15 gratitude sun salutations. And the weather is pretty good today too, so I think my daughter and I might mini golf this afternoon, a fun way to get in some steps on this rest day.
7/12: Weight = 161.6 (down .2 from yesterday) Yesterday was active recovery, so took it very easy but completed my day 24 challenge (yoga) and just had a nice afternoon/evening with my daughter. We watched a movie after mini golf and just vegged out on the sofa, my steps were super low but that was the plan. Back at it today with running, a booty workout and a walk planned.
7/13: Weight = 160.3 (down 1.3 from yesterday) Had a bit of a late weigh-in this morning, might account for this big loss, I'll see what tomorrow brings if it sticks. Yesterday, I got my run and walk in and completed the day 25 challenge which was a booty/legs barre workout. I really liked this workout, hope to do more like it. I've wanted for a while to check out one of those barre workout places, might do that in the fall after I reach my 1st weight loss goal and feel more comfortable working out in a group setting. Dinner was super yummy last night which was a porcini mushroom risotto, I added in sauteed zucchini and yellow squash and some prepared meatballs, so probably had a bit of gluten with those but in moderation I still feel fine with a little gluten. Love, that I am eating real foods that I enjoy and still losing weight, this is how I will succeed long term. No "diet" here. Just have to be mindful of portion control. Today is a stress fest at my house with my daughter, doing my best to hang in and be strong for her but it takes an emotional toll on me, hello that's how I got fat. But, I know I can not control the situation just how I react to it - so no stress eating/drinking from me today, will manage my stress with working out and getting in some gratitude sun salutations....the one that resonates the most to me currently is "I am grateful and appreciative of everything in my life".
7/14: Weight = 160.1 (down .2 from yesterday) Another late weigh-in this morning and I'll hopefully weigh-in late tomorrow morning too, so the Monday end of challenge number may bump up a tad, but I'm okay with that. I did not stress eat or drink yesterday, so SUCCESS but I also didn't eat enough so feeling a bit sluggish here this morning and have an intense cardio workout scheduled for today which I need my energy up for. I completed my day 26 Upper Body challenge work out yesterday and got in a long walk as well. Thank you for the support yesterday!
7/15: Weight = 159.4 (down .7 from yesterday) Wish I didn't have this number pop up on the scale today...getting under 160 is my 1st major goal and today was a super late weigh-in so probably not a real representation of today's weight. I'll be back to my normal weigh-in time tomorrow morning and see what's what. Hopefully at some point next week I'll be able to celebrate firmly being in the 150's and start planning my next small goal. Yesterday I completed my day 27 workout, cardio ladders which kicked my butt! Other than that relaxed all day with super low steps. In the home stretch for this challenge, let's finish strong!

7/07:--174.4 I didn't expect this to stick around!
7/08:--174.8 Weighed in this morning but almost forgot to log it!
7/09:--173.8 Wasn't expecting to see this at all! It's probably a one-off because I wasn't feeling 100% yesterday and ended up under-eating.
7/10:--175.4 A sure sign that TOM is imminent.
7/11:--175.2
7/12:--175.8 It's only temporary.....it's only temporary......I considered skipping today's weigh in since I know its my old friend TOM messing with me, but I decided to give him the finger instead I stopped logging last night and allowed myself to just eat whatever I wanted. I always feel soooo hungry around this time of the month. I've figured out that this is cyclical and if I just let it happen for a day or two, it won't mess up my long term progress and it's actually easier to get back on track. Otherwise, I'm just cranky!

Day/Weight/Comment
7/07 189.6 Can this be real? I worked hard at this yesterday to get this challenge off to a better start than the last. Over 10,000 steps. Intermittent fasted for 16:8 . 25 net carbs. 1269 calories. Now just to hang on……..
7/08 189.0…. Very pleased with progress. Now….Just to keep from sabotaging myself. Dr. Appointment tomorrow which is keeping me accountable. Hope I can hold it steady afterward…..
I walked nearly 13,000 steps yesterday including a planned 1 mile brisk walk just prior to dinner. I intermittent fasted 16:8. Liquids okay but could have been better. Battled some cravings late night, but got through it with a square of bitter 90% dark cacao chocolate. I tried hard to pretend it was milk chocolate or maybe a Milky Way but eh…….
7/09 188.4 Dr. Appointment later today so I wanted to be accountable. I walked over 16,000 steps yesterday and nearly 7 miles. Low on water due to work and being so busy. Followed my diet well and fought the late night cravings and urges to binge which I sometimes give in to. I intermittent fasted 16:8 which is not always easy for me. The doctor appt today kept me on track for sure!
7/10 187.4 Keep on keepin’ on. Walked over 10,000 steps. 16:8 Intermittent fast. Good water, tea and vinegar. Brisk 1.5 mile walk after dinner. Dr. & staff impressed with weight loss. Blood Pressure 112/77. All is well. Today is an out of town trip quite far from home. Due to being mainly carbound, I will not get in my steps and my diet will be off. We’ll see what tomorrow’s scales bring. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday!
7/11 out of town today. No scale, but it won’t be good. Chinese buffet yesterday. I will be very careful today as I travel home. I dread the water weight after so many carbs and so much sodium. When I’m home and use the scale tomorrow it will probably be a very sad day. Why? Why? Why?...........
7/12 192.2 ugggg…….. 13,122 steps yesterday after I got home but less than 5, 000 on Tuesday due to travel plan. The Chinese food yesterday is showing and the picture isn’t pretty. I watched my diet pretty carefully yesterday after I arrived home. 27 carbs, 1085 calories. The 13,000 steps included a brisk 1.5 mile walk in my neighborhood. But as I’ve stated before, you cannot outrun the fork so I pay dearly….. I will continue to be careful today and try hard to reach my macros, carbs and calories with grace (even if it is without ease). The fight continues and I do remain fierce.
7/13 192.4 Drats! A night out last night with too many carbs and calories. 7,556 steps. No planned walk or exercise. I guess the number could be even higher so I’ll take it. Today, however, I will be doing my Intermittent fasting 16:8. Drinking my tea, lemon water, vinegar water etc. And I will be doing an Egg Fast to get my macros back on track. My goal at this point is to try and reach my lowest weight I have achieved this round which is 187.4. Don’t know that I can make that in the next 3 weigh-ins, especially on a weekend, but I am surely going to do my best! No desserts!!!!
7/14 190.0 The 180’s are flirting with me again and I plan on falling for it hook, line and sinker. Yesterday: 10,223 steps. Began an Egg Fast which went very well. Drank my vinegar, my lemon water and my black coffee. No green tea. Busy day. Not a lot of time, no walk today but plenty of natural steps. Net Carbs 12, Calories 1363. Look out 180’s, you can run but you can’t hide!
7/15 187.8 This meets my original goal. However, I still would like to see my lowest weight during this round which is 187.4. I will be very careful today so it will hopefully drop that 0.4 by tomorrow. Yesterday I practiced the intermittent fast 16:8. Fluids good. Very low calorie and carb counts which is why I see such a dramatic change on the scale. It was the 2nd day of my Egg Fast. I walked 10,500 steps including my 1.5 mile brisk walk in the neighborhood. Total miles walked yesterday 5.72 . I made tacos, rice and loaded refried beans for my son, brother and neighbor friend. My son’s quantity was limited for calorie restriction. But tacos are his favorite. I am proud that I didn’t eat any at all to stay within my carb limits. Overall it was a good day. NSV= Ex-Husband seen me today for the first time in over a year. I had no idea he was coming to see our son. I was looking so much thinner, healthier…..Folks, I was rockin it and looking so gooooood……. .It definitely gave me the boost up that I needed in morale…..

1988 high school graduation 185-190lbs
weight on 1/29/18 = 234.5
Round 46 goal. Loose the 4 pounds I gained over the holiday and catering dinners for friends and family this entire week.
7/9 – 194lbs – its been a long week of binging on adult beverages and Unlimited meals, managed to stay under my goal of 199 but would like to get back to averaging 189. Will be eating the same lunch the rest of the week to try and loose 5 pounds.
7/10 – 194lbs – needed to stay out of the house till 9pm last night. Ate 2 giant burgers because the second one was half off. Also drinks were cheap. Loved the good food but had way to much for any loss the next couple days.
7/11 – 191.8lbs – had a good food day yesterday and was 1100 calories under maintenance. I am not trying to loose much but would like to see mid to high 180’s again. My scale is my 2nd best tool for weight loss. It is so accurate that I base my caloric intake on the information it gives me. Total Weight, water %, body fat%, bone weight, muscle weight, BMI ====== I love that scale.
7/12 – 191lbs – really thought I would have weighed less this morning. ate good and had my usual vice. Maybe tomorrow?
7/13 – 191lbs – not sure why this number is here 3 days in a row. I have put in my usual efforts. Didn’t plan on diet over the weekend but unless I drop a little I might have to.
7/14 – no scale – road trip -had big breakfast. Then lunch at a rest area. Charcoal grilled corn on the cob, venison steak, bbq chicken breast, summer sausage with cheese, and patato salad, good grief I can eat, love grilling on the road and the guys I traveled with also loved there first experience having home cooked meal at one of michigans finest rest areas.
7/15 195lbs – yesterdays lunch sure did fill me up and pack on a few pounds. Guess I eat 4 pounds of food yesterday. Also forgot to log the unknow amount of cherries I ate at the orchard.

7/07 160.2 Wow I am super stoked to start with this weight!! Finally got my parents home yesterday after a long 3 weeks of caregiving, celebrated last night with a cocktail, hot tub, time with my hubby and light dinner. I drank a lot of water yesterday and just snacked rather than my big salad, not meeting my macros but happy with this loss! Now to stay the course as I head into the weekend.
7/08 162.6 Cocktail and fried calamari, Fiber One bars give me a stomache ache, became a Granny to twins...tummy hurts still!! No more Fiber One for me, water before I eat, yardwork today. Tomorrow's weigh in will be great, I am sure of it!! I have lost almost 10 lbs and it really feels good. I lose the tummy bloat first and that's what makes me feel fat vs. thin, so success!
7/09 163.4 WEIGH IN DAY Well, this gain is expected after my indulgence the day before. It took 2 days to show up, since yesterday I was on plan. I am confident I will drop back down this week.
7/10 162 Up and down and up and down, stay the course to reach your goal.
7/11 161.4 As I said.
7/12 161 Yay! The trend is in the right direction. Would love to see the 150's again. I know I really need to start adding some exercise, that will give me more motivation, energy and toning.
7/13 160.8 Spent most of the day fasting but then ate all my quota by bedtime. A good lesson on ignoring cravings and the pangs of hunger.
7/14 161.4 Took my phone on a walk and earned some extra calories, ate them and plus some. I think I won't do that again (eat the extras) NSV I have been feeling sexy, I cleaned out one of my kitchen cabinets that was a mess, took the dogs for a long morning walk, I went through and purged my junky jewellry, I went to an unexpected dinner with my 16 yo son, my mood is up!

I really hope this weight sticks around. I'm being very careful today, eating very low carbs. Not completely cutting them out, but only had a small teaspoon of mashed potatoes and macaroni salad at lunch out of politeness to my mother-in-law. Everything else was veggies and beans (which are carbs, but not the processed carbs.)

I'll take it and be happy for today but not sure how accurate it is. Going to the lake today so I will have to be very mindful of what I'm eating and to make sure I'm continuously drinking my water. I tend to snack on everything at the lake and slack on water, got to change that habit.
7/08 - Camping, no weigh in.
7/09 - 152.4 -
7/10 - 152.4 - Hoping for a drop soon, scale first showed 151.4 and I got really excited but the next two times it showed 152.4 do that's probably more accurate to what my weight is. Got a morning and evening workout in yesterday, doing 2 different challenges. 30 Day Challenge and an 8 Week Challenge, looking forward to seeing some results.
7/11 - 152.4 - Did both challenges yesterday, my legs are definitely feeling it. Yoga today will be perfect for my sore muscles. Hoping to see a drop any day now. I wanted to be out of the 150s by Saturday for a big party we're going to but don't believe that will be happening.
7/12 - 151.4 - finally, hooray! Now to continue right on out of the 150s. Did both challenges again yesterday plus got in an hour walk, had plenty of water and ate good. Just need to keep it up, it's working even if I don't see a drop right away.
7/13 - 151.2 - not as big of a drop I would have liked to see today but I'm happy. I did pass by my round goal so there's that achievement
7/14 - 151.2
7/15 - 148.6 - hahaha I wish! To bad that number only showed up because of a super late weigh in and from bring way dehydrated. Interesting to see what tomorrow number end up being though.

Round 45 report: Logged later a few days, but average sugar consumption was quite a lot lower which was a goal. Got a couple of nice cardio workouts in, average weight is down.
Round 46 GOAL = Maintain weight. That's it. I am trying to control my anxiety by making rules again, and it's time to stop when my perfectionism is driving the bus; that's a "recipe" for disaster.
7/7 - 125.8 - yesterday under maintenance, 10K steps, got in a walk/run to gym and 20 mins on elliptical.
7/8 - 126.2 - yesterday over maintenance, due to some middle of night can't-sleep sugar. Got in a pretty solid at-home strength workout yesterday - resistance bands, exercise ball etc.
7/9 - 125.4 - yesterday under maintenance, 10K steps, got a 3.5 mile run in with some walk intervals, it was hot but ran to gym and then ran on treadmill. A day to stack up and check off the things that will make me feel better: taking care of bills, stretching, taking vitamins, sitting with the mindfulness exercise, and getting a run.
7/10 - 126.8 - yesterday under maintenance, 10K steps including a short run to gym, 35 mins on the elliptical, and slow walk home. Unfortunately the gym was steaming (it's more of a lifter's gym, hardly anyone does hard cardio there for more than 10 minutes but me, and it has west facing windows...) and by the time I got home I was BROKEN.
Dinner helped, but after passing out for 5 hours I woke at 3AM with a headache and weak willpower, and some sugar has gone down the hatch. Possibly my body is just replenishing its glycogen, I have worked out pretty hard a few days in a row ... All will be well, it's just finding my sea legs with summer here in norcal
7/11 - 126.8 - yesterday super overtired, over on calories and a planned no-workout day due to other commitments. Went to bed at 8:45 and slept 10 hours. Aaaaahhhhh. It was LOVELY.
7/12 - 127.6 - yesterday under maintenance, 13K steps, nice run. It feels so weird to run hard on a treadmill for a half a mile, take a walk break to get my heart rate down, and realize that was not quite as fast as marathon pace ... 13 years ago. But I'm running; so no worries. Another good night's sleep.
I spite of the other day's bonk, I ran to the gym in the heat and it went much better. Took ice water this time! Was still 88 when I got back home. (Dry norcal heat of course, but still hot for running!)
7/13 - 126.8 - yesterday under maintenance, only 7K steps. Hubs (who is retired and an excellent healthy cook as well as a pro gardener, I am SO LUCKY) made homemade vegetarian tamales and avocado-tomatillo salsa for dinner. I could have cried it was so good. And we ALMOST have tomatoes...
7/14 - 126.6 - yesterday over maintenance cals and 6K steps. Some emo stuff up, healing. Early bed, good sleep, and we did eat our first tomatoes!
7/15 - 126.0 - yesterday a squidge over calories; got 14K steps including a great run: to gym in the heat (getting used to it!) and treadmill, ran a half mile and walked 100 yards a bunch of times, and still had enough to run home: altogether 4.35 run. Soon, soon, I will be back where I was in January...

Noticed my weekly average sodium is up to 1760mg this week. Culprit: olives on my salads...!
Will cut the quantity down. Hehe Ate our for a special event yesterday - cut back rest of day & walked extra to eat at maintenance level. Pleased.
Noticed that I felt groggy, was yawning a lot, some slight nausea — for the first time in over 8 months. Didn’t eat too much, but it had Much more fats and refined carbs. My fiber micro was the lowest in 8 months lol I’m pleased as this will reinforce my not eating out
7/10 166.8 a Trend wt: 167.0* Loss/week: 0.4*
Scale has been wonky. This could have been 167.4, but shifted at last minute. Fingers crossed!!
I just realized I’ve weighed under 170 lbs since May 26! Encouraging! Now to get my high weight to 166.4! Feeling more motivated to lose more.
7/11 165.6* ✅Trend wt: 166.8* Loss/week: 0.5*
Okay, I figured out what was happening...a new brand of hummus was driving up my daily sodium/retaining water. I’m also eating less overall. Exercising, but with less intensity.
BMI: 24.8!! Normal at 5’8.5”✅ I’m sure this will bounce a bit, but trend line tells the story!!
7/12 165.2*a ✅ Trend wt: 166.6* Loss/wk: 0.6**
Wow! Lowest weight so far!! SO exciting.
Largest trending Loss/wk since June 11. I recognized what took the wind out of my weight loss sails (& decided to maintain) & am now being kind to myself as I pull out of it. I am creating more of a deficit calorie-wise each day than before.
Funny story: when I saw 165.2 on the scale, I thought “What, no way I gained 7 lbs..!!” No idea why I thought that. I weighed three times, 165.2, 165.2 165.2 thinking “wow, my scale must be broken” Started walking to Hubby’s scale when I finally woke up enough to realize I’d lost - hadn’t recognized the 165 since I was not expecting a lower number & in fact, I’m not sure I’ve seen this number since high school!! Sure is tricky getting used to new wt numbers!
7/13 165.8* a ✅ Trend wt: 165.9* Loss/wk: 0.6*
OK, saw there was another method Happy Scale uses for Trend Wt calculations that it says is better/more predictive. Switched as of this morning.
7/14 166* a✅ Trend wt: 165.8* Loss/wk: 0.7* Feeling much more settled than the past two months, as I transitioned to a maintenance mentality. As I learned from others on MFP, Trend weights ARE invaluable!

SO happy that I was able to rally again this Round, and shift some mindsets/habits!

Ummm.... whaaaaaa!!! 🤯😂 no clue what’s happening and why. I worked out very late last night and ate within my goal. So did everything right. Did feel bloated for the first time last night so maybe that’s what this is? Oh well! Let’s see what happens in this round. I know progress will be slower now, even if I push myself. Last 10 lbs!! Also need to get better sleep.
7/08 - 120.4
Couldn’t workout yesterday as I felt my left knee was hurting a bit. It’s very mild. Never had any kind of issues with my knees before so didn’t want to push it without knowing what’s happening. Need to figure out moves/workouts to mediate the pain and it’s almost gone with rest now. I cooked and made flan last night and hoping not to overdo it with food today!
7/09 - 119.6
Ok, so that is good. Weird weigh in yesterday and day before that better not happen again! 😂 walked for an hr. Yesterday and it felt good and my knee got to rest too. I think I’ll try to do my regular bike cardio today. Let’s see. Lack of well rested and enough sleep seems to be important for how my days go and also weigh-ins in the mornings.
7/10 - 119.4
Yay! Warm up and workout yesterday, knee feels better too. Good sleep last night and within my calories.
7/11 - 119.6
Yesterday was rest day! And kind of wasn’t a very active day physically but a busy day nonetheless. Sleep was ok, ate within my goal and looking forward to working out today.
7/12 - 118.2
Worked out yesterday and it felt so good. I feel bogged down and heavy, the days I don’t workout! Who would’ve thought I’d ever feel that way for not working out! 🤣😬 sleep could’ve been better but wasn’t too bad, also ate well within my range. Although, ate maybe a tad more carbs than I usually do, but it wasn’t over by much.
7/13 - 118.2
7/14 - 117.6
This makes me feel super happy and motivated to keep on track. I have really worked hard for this one. Worked out and pushed myself yesterday and ate super well also was under my calorie range. I can feel my stamina increasing which is a very good feeling. Just need to keep doing what I am doing! Remember to work on getting better sleep, warm up before every workout and drink drink drink more water. And looks like, hopefully I can complete this round under my goal weight!! Still fingers crossed 🤞 as I do not want to jinx it 😜 I had plans for Chinese dinner tonight from the very best Sichuan place, but this progress makes me want to not do that. Eating out just inevitably reflects on your weight the next few days. We shall see.
7/15 - 117.2
I’ll be happy as long as I can finish at my goal weight for this round. Worked out and ate within my range yesterday. Today is rest day. Chinese takeout may happen tonight but I’ll try to stay within my calories.

Goals this round:
1200 calories daily, carbs under 100g
Day/Weight/Comment
7/07-last day on vacation, no scales.
7/08-167.7. Stayed within calorie goal but didn't eat dinner until 7:30.
7/09-168.2
7/10 - 167.0
7/11 - 166.6 Stayed on track yesterday as far as calories go. Ended the day with 1393 In & 2158 out. Carb intake was just over 100, a bit more than I would have like but still not bat. I got over 8 hours of sleep last night.
7/12 - 166.7 1383 in/2437 out. Carbs under 100. Only 7 hours sleep. Scale up but still happy with my progress.
7/13 - 168 Was not true to myself and my goals and the scales said so this morning. I'm going to turn that around today so it was just a 1 day blip.
7/14 - 166.8 Back on track yesterday. 1124 in/2172 out. Carbs 21, net 12. Sleep- 7 hours. Hot yoga this morning was awesome!
7/15 - 165.6 Good day yesterday. 1353 in/ 2275 out. 71 carbs. Sleep 8+ hours. Afraid the 1.2 shift in the scale is due to alcoholic beverages last night. Here's hoping it's the same or better in the morning.

I'm a little depressed about my knee. Haven't seen the doctor yet but willing to bet it's arthritis - my whole family has it. I HAVE to lose weight to help take the pressure off my knee. When will I wise up?
I hear you. When will you see your doc? I know I had knee issues about 10-ish years ago, and had one shot & doc said, you will need knee surgery. Pain went away never to return.
I’m hopeful for you!2 -

8: 87.3kg rest day for exercise but have to work this arvo. Kids are on school holidays so will be tricky to keep up my routine
9: 87.3kg friends watching kids today so I can get to bootcamp
10: 86.7kg finally under 87kg! My work pants are way too big now and I’m up to the last hole in my belt! Plan to get to the gym after work so about 10 pm tonight
11: 86.4kg this tens can continue
12: 86kg had a delicious burger and 1/2 serve fries while taking the kids to a rock climbing/trampolining place. Fitted in to my calories too
13: 85.9kg closing in on my next personal goal of 85kg!
14: 85.4kg seems all the work last round is now showing
15: 85.2kg gym performance wasn’t great yesterday, thinking I might be under eating and effecting my strength. Going to eat a bit bit more next few days and see how it goes. On a good note I’m now 1/2 way to goal!
16: 85.4kg much better round looking forward to the next one. -2.3kg but this should be spread across last round too as water weight from TOM was masking my loss last round

7/07 - 163 - I'm glad I didn't bump up from yesterday's weight. Now let's see if I can get through this plateau in the next 10 days.
7/08 - 161.5 - I know this won't last, but it sure is nice to see!
7/09 - 161 - Whoa, was not expecting this!
7/10 - 160.5 - So I bounced between 163 and 165 for 3 weeks while sticking to my calorie goals. Either I've smashed through my plateau or my scales need a new battery.
7/11 - 161.5 - As long as I don't have to see 163 again this round, I'm happy.
7/12 - 161 - It looks like I may be sticking around this number for now, Yay!
7/13 - 160.5 - It will be nice if I can make it through the weekend at this weight.
7/14 - 160 - Although this number is nice, it's been a tough day. I'm not sure how it will look tomorrow.
7/15 - 159.5 - Our 10 year old dog died unexpectedly yesterday morning. My husband and I are both heartbroken. Upon reflection, it is interesting how we both gravitated toward "comfort food" last night and today. We'll get back on track this week.

This is my 1st round... better late than never
SW 186.6 lbs
Date/weight/comment
7/7 186.6 lbs worked out in the morning but went out for drinks that night
7/8 woke up late and forgot to weigh myself, I feel like your true weight is only in the mornings, so I let it go and did bad the rest of the day. (Not a good idea but I'll pay for it in tomorrow's weigh in.)
7/9 187.6 smh a whole nother pound I have to get ride of now...I need to do better the weekends always get me, I can control my portions better during the weekdays because of the routine..I got this
7/10 186.8 ok well I'm at least getting back to were I started. I watched my calories and did a small 10 min morning workout then an afternoon workout of Julian Michaels of 30 day shred. I love her workout videos, I am so feeling it this morning I'm so sore that I didn't even want to do my morning workout. I contemplated allot but decided to do it.
7/11..186.2 My scale was all over the place this morning, 1st at 186.2, then 185.8 then 189.8 I swear I got on at least 10 times and the 186.2 came up the most, so that's what I am going with. Did both morning and afternoon workout yesterday, so happy cause I am so sore I really didn't want to but I was given chocolate at work, that I was like if I eat this I have to workout in the afternoon and so that's what I did lol. Yesterday I did day 2 in level one 30 day shred. (10 days each level )
7/12 186. 2 No lose, but no gain either. I worked out in the morning. The pants I wore yesterday felt allot tighter than when I wore them last week. I should of worked out in the afternoon but I didn't #smh I ate over my calories amount, I need to loose this kangaroo pouch. Really trying to get to 185 by the time this round is over the weekend is coming and I am scared I'll gain it all back
7/13 184.8 wow, I was thinking it would be around 185, yay I'm so excited. I Didnt work out yesterday morning. But did day 3 of the 30 day shred in the afternoon. I can't seem to control my portions during the weekend I have no routine and I'm with my kids all day that I end up over eating and gaining everything I lost during the week. I only work half a day today, so my weekend starts early. Wish me luck I'm really going to try.
7/14 184.0. I really worked for this one I did my morning and afternoon workout did day 4 of 30 day shred, but today is a whole nother challenge, I have family coming over making hamburgers and jumping in the pool. I up to go running really not wanting too but if that will keep me from gaining I'll do it. Let's do this. Good luck everyone
7/15 184.0 no gain I'm happy with that. I ran 2 miles in the morning then went out to do yard work, then jumped in the pool, I didnt do the best on my calories, but I think I worked out enough to cancel it out. I just have to get through this day to not gain, but I've already started off bad, I don't know if I'm going to work out.. will see tomorrow im really going to try.

7/06- I had a super hungry day due to (steroids), but I know to watch tomorrow, more exercise and watch my food choices. I went for a long walk tonight.
7/07- Prepared my meals for next week. Made broccoli soup, for lunch next week. Lots of vegetables and fruit.
Going to be very careful what I pick to eat. Fitbit steps 11,500.
7/08- Better food choices having a hard time steroids are making me hungry and 2-4 hours of sleep at night, went out walking Fitbit steps-10, 500. Enjoyed the weather outside today.
7/10- Great day spent lots of time outside, went for a walk after dinner 11,500 steps. Made a lot of good food
choices, had a smoothie frozen pineapples, celery, cucumbers, spinach, flax seed and water. Kept me full.
7/11- Tip - I made enough of my smoothie to last for today too. Fitbit steps 10,500, I was tired today only 2 1/2 hours of sleep last night.
7/12- another 2 hour sleep night. Fitbit steps 9,000. Need the weekend to rest.
7/13- Went for my radiation appointment and then weekly visit with the doctor he could not believe I`m doing so good, active and no symptoms at all. I have to work on planning my meals today I did not plan and I ate more than usual. I have to make soups and smoothies to have ready.
7/14 - Only one day I didn't reach 10,000 steps. I am going to increase this week. Have to do some cooking and preparing food for next week. I am craving strawberries but it is to hot for me to pick them. Maybe during the middle of the week it is suppose to be a little more comfortable.
7/15 Made broccoli, leek soup today. Then had a take it easy day, not much sleep last night. Fitbit steps 8,500.10
