7/07: 70.6 - Ate left over pizza and got very very sweaty at judo. All in all a fairly good day. Slightly above my calories allowance, but only just, so should be okay on that.
7/08: 70.3 - Odd day of eating. Judo in the morning (feeling it today, didn't stretch enough afterwards), then when to my parents for lunch and dinner, so wasn't really able to log completely accurately. But did my best shot. Ate cakes and more things that I'd normally go lighter on and I had some wine. Overall calories weren't bad (mostly thanks to the stupid amount of judo I did in the morning)

Thank you @quiltingjaine and @TerriRichardson112 .... I am finding these bumps very frustrating!! I've have increased my average steps from something like 6-8k up to 16-18k last week, and just massively weird scale behaviour. I've taken it easy this weekend, but it's nice to read your spoiler TerriRichardson ... the tape measure has been a great way to guage the actual progress. .... I need to keep on keeping on and look at the much bigger picture. I guess I am hoping for a whoosh this week ... but if one doesn't come, I shouldn't be bothered. I just want to start seeing the scales move downward again. Ahhhh ... this is a mental game more than anything.5

I'm back for this round. Took a small mental break and also went on vacation. I am going to have to go back and find my weight information from prior rounds. I am having my kitchen renovated and as of yesterday all of the cabinets and flooring have been removed, so it's been a challenge.
Goals:
1. Do some exercise everyday.
2. I hate to make weight goals, but I would love to be back in the 219's at the end of the round.

7/07--221.1 Some of this is water weight from vacation. Going out for lunch and a movie today. I am very happy that after 3 weeks of recovery my dog can go back out on walks as of today. My dog is probably even happier.
7/08--221.3 Feeling bloated. Didn't get enough water yesterday, it's difficult because my house is in an upheaval due to the renovation. Going to kettlebell today.

I've decided to pay more attention to my moving average weight rather than daily ups & downs, so that's what I'm reporting this round. Also reporting both daily calories & 10-day calorie averages, because I've found the averages mean more in terms of my weight trend, but I still like to see what the daily numbers are.

I had a lovely day yesterday, and today promises more of the same. Temp in the low 80s and clear, so I went for a 4-mile walk on our beautiful Rivergreenway in the morning. Did some gardening in the afternoon, and then some housecleaning ( ) because we had friends over for dinner, which was lovely with the gorgeous long evening to sit outside and talk and watch the birds and eat a bit too much (but healthy!). I saw the results of Friday evening's splurge on the scale this morning, but I'm going with the averages, so not letting it stress me out. I worked in the garden for an hour last evening, moving and planting - there's nothing like playing with living color in the dirt to lift the spirits! Off for a walk in a few minutes. 07/07 - Saturday - 198.0 ouch. Feeling bloated and slow and tired. All this sugar and salt has taken its toll on me and I'm ready to eat better today. I ate some breakfast and made lunch and plan to bring snacks to a friend's this afternoon. Also got a big water bottle. Life is hectic right now but I'm happy in each moment while still looking forward to the future.

7/7: 196.6 (+0.2), BF% = 15.9 (no change). I just kept eating. I need to listen to my body. I'm also bring avoidant here, the only place I am accountable.
7/8: 193.6 (-3.0), BF% = 15.6 (-0.3). Likely a DROOSH™. I had 3 drinks yesterday with my wife; all were Keto-friendly. Lunch and dinner were healthy, and I didn't over-snack or over-eat. I was a bit light on water, though, so I might be dehydrated (with a lower weigh-in than reality). Seeing the scale move in the right direction is a good thing today for my psyche. I've been feeling pretty bleh overall emotionally. Work isn't fun. I haven't played basketball in more than a week. I need to get back in the gym to strengthen my knee so I can get back to basketball. I'll go tomorrow after work.10 -
Love this challenge. Goal this round: always be aware of what I’m eating. Maybe it should be always be aware of what I’m doing because the eating I regret always comes with mindless doing, procrastination, and/or tiredness. Also want to get in all my gym days and some kind of exercise every day. A ‘just for 10 days’ experiment.

7/07: Weight = 164.5 (down .4 from yesterday) Happy to see the scale moving in the right direction to start off this challenge! Yesterday was a good day - was able to squeeze in a short run between thunderstorms and completed day 19 of my exercise challenge which was a Posterior Chain workout (Thigh Jacks, Elevated Bridge Lifts, Triceps Dips, Swimmers, Single Leg Tabletops, 3-Way Calf Raises). So what I learned yesterday, is that I have SUPER weak back muscles. I've found in past workouts that doing Supermans are hard for me but the Swimmer's yesterday showed me just how weak my back is. Swimmers = lie on your stomach with your arms and legs fully extended - lift your arms and legs up and begin to paddle, alternating right leg, left arm up, then left leg, right arm like a swimmer, keep your lower back engaged for 45 seconds x 3. So that's something I definitely need to work on. On to day 20 today which is Cardio Ladders. I hope everyone has a great start to their weekend and to this challenge
7/08: Weight = 162.3 (down 2.2 from yesterday). I KNOW this is not a real loss. Slept in this morning and weighed-in super late so that will account for this low number. I don't expect this to be my weight tomorrow but as long as it is below 164.5 tomorrow, I'll be good. Yesterday I was below calories, on target with macros and completed my day 20 exercises. Around 10 p.m. I found myself doing a few walking laps of my house to get my Fitbit to 10,000 steps - so silly, but hey, it is making me move more. It's a beautiful day here today, and not hot or humid like last week, so going to go enjoy a nice run and then get my day 21 challenge workout. Probably grilling out tonight, love lazy summer days!

Round 45 report: Logged later a few days, but average sugar consumption was quite a lot lower which was a goal. Got a couple of nice cardio workouts in, average weight is down.
Round 46 GOAL = Maintain weight. That's it. I am trying to control my anxiety by making rules again, and it's time to stop when my perfectionism is driving the bus; that's a "recipe" for disaster.
7/7 - 125.8 - yesterday under maintenance, 10K steps, got in a walk/run to gym and 20 mins on elliptical.
7/8 - 126.2 - yesterday over maintenance, due to some middle of night can't-sleep sugar. Got in a pretty solid at-home strength workout yesterday - resistance bands, exercise ball etc.

7/07 160.2 Wow I am super stoked to start with this weight!! Finally got my parents home yesterday after a long 3 weeks of caregiving, celebrated last night with a cocktail, hot tub, time with my hubby and light dinner. I drank a lot of water yesterday and just snacked rather than my big salad, not meeting my macros but happy with this loss! Now to stay the course as I head into the weekend.
7/08 162.6 Cocktail and fried calamari, Fiber One bars give me a stomache ache, became a first time Grammy to twins...tummy hurts still!! No more Fiber One for me, water before I eat, yardwork today. Tomorrow's weigh in will be great, I am sure of it!! I have lost almost 10 lbs and it really feels good. I lose the tummy bloat first and that's what makes me feel fat vs. thin, so success!

7/07- 231.4 Pleasantly surprised I’m holding steady from yesterday. NSV- Did great at the wedding. Was careful how much I ate for dinner and ate enough of the cake to appreciate the taste of it. Saw an acquaintance I hadn’t seen in 2 months and she told me I was looking good. She’s very PC so she wouldn’t come straight out and say “You’ve lost some weight.” Nice way to start the round.
7/08- 231.8 No explanation for the bump except maybe some GI issues. Good food day yesterday. Family event today = loads of food. Aiming for good food choices.

7/07 251.8 - Still feeling really motivated and optimistic, like this time is the time I'll see this through. I've lost 9 pounds in 5 days which I realize is mostly water, but I already feel better. I hope to be in the low 240s when this round is over.
