I'm eating my dinner thinking about how tired I am, my feet hurt, my back hurts, it was way too hot today. I got into a good chat with this guy about millennials and we both agreed that millennials are the worst.

There was something else I thought of today that was perfect for this thread. I forgot what it was in the intervening 3 hours, which fits as well.

I lost the ability to sleep-in
Wow, I lost that years ago, in my late 20s. I was always a get up early person, but I am NOT a morning person, I need breakfast or at least some juice before I want to look at another human. But I am an early riser.
By 30 I was working at a job that had me up and at work by 4am. It really wasn't too bad. No rush hour, the streets are quite, only the 'team;'of eight or so co-workers at work and I was out by 1pm.

Of course I had to go to bed early as well.

I'm not old, but I feel old.. does that count? If I get up from certain sitting positions, my muscles protest and my joints pop. My muscles also always feel like I need a constant stretch. Probably should fix that somehow.

Well, probably a younger generation issue, but I no longer have the ability to enjoy spending countless hours playing video games or sitting through tv marathons...I'm broken (just not any fun anymore)

Here is my old person list:

For aches/pain: TENS Device, Heating Pad and ice packs and Ibuprofen
Readers.. in every room, car and purse
    Fans in every room

I have 2 TENS devices, a small one with 2 electrodes and and larger one with 8 electrodes and 10 settings that I can crank up to "11" (showing my age here).

No, video games lost their charm after they stopped making the 2600.

I'm just tired all the time. I'm boring. Too tired for fun stuff. Sometimes don't have time because I work a lot. As I grow older I just complain a lot.

I still listen to CD's in my car. I feel embarrassed about it though and so I scan the road to make sure no one is looking before I insert/eject those relics 🙄. Even worse, they're usually burned CD-R's. Napster mixtapes lol.
My car has a CD player but also has an AUX input. I purchased a MP3 player, put 1,600 songs on it and .... the damn thing more or less picks the same 45 songs.

My mother's car... fancy... has a six CD player and a tape deck.

... Staying silent because the thing you want to say would have been funny when you were 21 but now it sounds like you are a creepy old guy.

Lately my lower back has been hurting like the dickens when I arise in the morning so I bought a wedge pillow to put under my knees. It's been helping a lot. Now I can lay in bed for like 4-6 hours straight and play Solitaire on my phone... pain-free!

    I need this.

My massage therapist told me to just tuck a pillow under my knees when I sleep on my back and if I'm on my side, to have a pillow in between my legs. It helps a lot.

That is very bad advice, you may get short term relief , causes long term problems, you will begin to find it hard to straighten your legs. Bed yoga is very good especially if you have a partner to help you stretch those limbs 😊

What do people consider old? Is there a certain age where you are then old or still young and ages where you are teetering between the two?
