People always joke about that but I've always liked the taste of diet drinks better than their fully loaded counterparts. Except for Orange Crush. That had to be non diet.

People find it gross that I prefer Diet Mountain Dew over the regular, but to me it tastes sweeter.

I usually have water, green tea (when having Asian) or black coffee when I am eating out. It's one thing when people are regularly going over and using diet drinks like some magic elixir that will cancel out other food, but IMO it's good to still exercise some restraint in the rest of what you consume when you allow yourself a nice treat. OTOH, if the burger, fries and shake are all components of the treat then enjoy the shake.

I had the most delicious & beautiful pie this weekend. It was a purple yam filling topped with haupia (a coconut milk pudding or jello or something kinda in between the two) and whipped cream. I didn't have the calories and would eat it again!

    That colour is amazing

Buttermilk fried chicken. Not that oven 'fried' stuff; the kind that requires a vat of oil! With fluffy biscuits, southern style gravy, and mashed potatoes :yum:

    gk6q0wpwblh6.jpg

And I will eat all the thighs.

Today? I want to eat all the food.

And preferably a tripple serving of it.

But I guess I'd already be happy with a couple of after eights (boxes... I mean  )

    f0jbuvkbxlzx.png

These are AMAZING frozen. I can eat a whole box out of the freezer when I get my hands on them!

Frozen????? I need to go out, buy some and freeze them! That sounds like a sliver thin piece of heaven!

You haven't tried them that way? You HAVE to! They get so chewy, and just absolutely amazing!
