Pizza. I love it and it's really hard to give up, especially now that we have a pretty good pizza place in town. I grew up in NJ, and pizza is just a way of life.

WHAT NO DONT GIVE UP FOODS YOU LOVE.

I lost 50lbs eating pizza, chilli cheese fries, cake, chips and everything in between.

Yes my portions were way different than usual. I usually only eat 1-2 pizza slices instead of my normal 5+ haha and I weigh out a portion of chips but if I crave it i have it. I just fit it into my day otherwise I'd fail because I love food.

I've been craving pizza for days.

Specifically, I want Papa John's 'The Greek':

    The-Greek.jpg

...and I want it with a side of jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese, just the way I always used to have it as my Friday evening 'treat'.

My advice to anyone else in this position would be to just have the gd pizza. Unfortunately a) I blew my calorie goal (not just blew, but nuked out of the solar system) on several days last week due to a combo of celebration, emotional turmoil and illness, and I need to reestablish good habits before I start making exceptions again. And b) and more importantly, I don't have a local Papa John.

So I'm just going to stare at this picture for a bit and salivate.

They were Krispy Kreme. Very easy to pass those up!

Yeah, but probably real Krispy Kreme's at least.

They show up up here every so often. Usually some kind of fundraiser. Didn't like them only to find out they are not as good as the ones in the US.

I don't like KK at all! Real or "fake".

There are far better donuts than KK to burn the calories on.

Don't have Timmy's around here, most of what we have here are little hole-in-the-wall places, any one of which are better than KK

Weekend plans - TGIFriday's Jack Daniels' chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and a Long Island Iced Tea or two. And cheesecake for dessert. Happy birthday to me! ;)

    Happy Birthday, enjoy 🙂

I still like their Canadian Maple doughnut.

    Surprised it's only 210 calories.
