I love rocks.
I’ve been collecting them since about 2nd grade.
I have a lot of rocks. 😊1 -
I have a large collection of D&D rule books. Used to play as a teen, haven't in decades, doesn't stop me from continuing to collect.0

I am an introvert and usually prefer one on one conversations.4

I saddle broke our 4yr old stallion.

Not proud just a fact,
I was kicked out of school and “ran away” on two different continents.
What a nightmare I was for my parents.2 -

I went through a massive heart attack and have a new heart4 -

It’s crazy how each of our lives are so different! But that is how we lean.

I can spend most of a day drinking coffee and highly caffeinated energy drinks with no effects one way or the other.
Or drink three cups of joe and fall asleep immediately after. Kinda sucks.
Omg. Me too. Pre-workout? Nothing. Not even with a double serving. But….I sure feel it when I quit caffeine. I get a five day headache and super tired. I’m currently off of caffeine again and have been for several months. I could be off of it for a year and have it and still nothing. I feel much better without it even though I don’t get any of the “benefits” while consuming it.
Mel, i am the same. And i thought i was like addicted to caffeïne and that's why it didn't had any effect on me. But then i went a year with 1 cup of coffee a day (instead of my usual 12) and had no problem with it.
I guess some people are just different...or maybe we are just aliens...Who know, right?
I now drink coffee again on a normal basis, between 5 and 7 cups a day. I just like the taste of coffee over other drinks. I also mostly drink coffee, water and sometimes tea.1 -
It's probably a good thing I was never really given any real power in life 😂2

Even though I am a shopaholic,
I HATE grocery shopping.
I will procrastinate as long as I can then push that cart in race mode. 😂2 -

Dropped out of high school at 17 years old, i'm the only person in my immediate family who doesn't have a university degree
. Other than that life is good.

Same but I did go to trade school and was the first in my family to seek further education. Actually my whole family dropped out of high school, even my parents.
I think I was the only one to actually graduate from trade school too. Others made attempts and dropped out. Yet I do have the worst job still. 🤪2 -
A lot of people (irl) assume I'm actually gay, both girls and guys. I'm not 100% straight either so I'm not offended but its kind of amusing.6

I never had any game with the girls...a single date in all of high school, a single date in college, turned down for Prom and Homecoming, the works. My wife is the only woman who ever looked at me twice, and we'll hit 20 years married next summer.
That said, about five years into our marriage, the military sent me out of state for training for a week. Went out to a bar with fellow trainees, and had two women spontaneously give me their numbers out of the blue. I was so shocked, all I could say was thanks (and throw the numbers away first chance I got), but what I was thinking was, where the blazes were you girls six years ago!?!?5 -
I still write snail mail to people. Full on letters. One of my pen pals is a fellow knitter who lives up in Ontario. I get postcards sometimes from all around the world; mostly from people who also knit, crochet or pursue some yarn related crafts.
Rarely, we send boxes of yarn and special goodies to one another (gets expensive, so it's a special treat).5 -
I haven’t ordered anything from amazon ever.3

I can get the hairdo part down. The rest of the body, though...2 -
It's the month of October, which is my youngest daughter's favorite time of the year, as she loves Halloween and all things scary, spooky or disgusting. I try my best to support her enthusiasm, but I personally cannot stand scary movies at all. Even at age 44, I can usually watch one without immediate reaction, but quite often my sleep is impacted that night. Give me an action movie (sports, war, Marvel, etc) or anything animated. Yes, my daughter and oldest son consider me (in this one case) to be a wimp, but I'm ok with that.5

I’ve gone from,
“what the **** did you say to me?”
to,
“whatever, I really don’t care.”
old age 😂2 -
