1: DNW I've been MIA for a few months. I know I've gained significantly, but I'm back now. Initial weight check tomorrow morning.
2: 217.9... Made it to the gym today for the first time in quite some time.
3: 218.7... Wrong direction, but it's ok. I didn't have a particular eating plan yesterday, but I did get back to my IF schedule. I was calorie-free before 11am and after 7pm. My first meal today was just after 11am, and I'm heading to the gym in a few minutes.

Hi. I'm in. I was planning on starting last round, but then realized I was going to be out of town for most of it with no scale. So this time I'm in.

9/25 -- 177 --Pretty good day yesterday. Met calorie and exercise goals, but succumbed to the peach coffee cake my husband made over the weekend and ate a whole piece instead of just a bite.
9/26 -- 177 --Again ok on the exercise and calorie front. But the carbs lost to a really nice milk stout....
9/27 -- 177.5 -- And again. Hit the exercise, missed by a little on the calories. Big fancy meal out with my husband and had a small dessert. Over on carbs again. But the next 7 days I should be out of excuses...and my fitbit is up and running again
9/28 -- 176.5 -- YAY! Walk, water aerobics and zumba yesterday. Ate back some exercise calories and only a little high on net carbs.
9/29 -- 175.5 -- Drank a ton of water yesterday and ate well. Also took a walk and did a killer water aerobics workout. Hoping this number sticks!
9/30 -- 176.5 -- Sigh. Got up and went to zumba yesterday and had a bonus 80 minutes (instead of 60). Happy hour at a neighbors for dinner. Stuck to low carb stuff and 1.5 glasses of red wine. Ate back some but not all of exercise calories. Not surprised that I'm up a little. I feel a bit bloated. We will see what happens tomorrow.
10/1 -- 176.5 -- Not much exercise yesterday. Was doing well....and then went our for sushi. Only a bit over calories, but the rice probably threw things off a bit. Exercised a bunch this morning and already > 15000 steps, so hoping tomorrow looks better!
10/2 – 175.5 -- Exercised a ton yesterday and ate well. Happy to see this number again.
10/3 – 175 -- YAY! Walked and did water aerobics yesterday. Finished up my steps pacing watching TV.

Day/Weight/Comment
9/25--217.1 I First time in over a week I've gotten back to my normal water drinking levels.
9/26--216.4 Back to my pre-trip weight and trend weight. Tonight is yoga, I haven't gone in 2 weeks, I so need it. I've been thinking about getting back into weightlifting, since I have stopped going to my kettlebell club. I recently moved and the club changed it's class schedule, so it's just not convenient anymore. I'm going to get a 3 day pass from a nearby gym and try it out and see if I like it, if not there are a couple of other gyms that I can try out. I'm not a big gym person, but I do want to lift weights again and this gym also has an indoor pool which is nice too.
9/27--216.0 Did some snacking last night even though I wasn't hungry. It was definitely stress related. I knew what I was doing while I was snacking, but it was almost as if I couldn't stop myself. It was weird...almost like an out of body experience. Luckily I had eaten pretty well during the day such that the extra snacking only put me over my daily calories by less than 500. Positives for yesterday was that at least I recognized what I was doing and I curtailed the amount of damage done. Today is a new day.
9/28--216.2 Still with a downward trend. Going to try out the gym today with the free pass.
9/29--216.0 Didn't go to the gym yesterday. When I got home from work I found the pallet containing my bathroom tiles delivered near my condo door. My husband hadn't come home from work yet so I spent about 30-45 mins moving the heavy tiles into the condo. I lost any small motivation I had at the time to go to the gym. Today I am taking my dog on a hike with my hiking group and then we are going out to lunch...you have to take advantage of any nice days you can get at this time of the year. I may be running around and doing some errands later depending on how I feel after the hike.
9/30--216.4 Lunch yesterday and I drank very little water on yesterday's hike. When I hike I forget to drink water, I'm so focussed on the hike I find that unless it's really hot out I don't drink as much water when I hike. Going out today to look for some paint for the bathroom and then doing some chores around the house, it's supposed to be rainy today. Trending weight is still going downward!
10/1--216.9 Did not drink a lot of water yesterday. Still working on getting my fiber levels up. Zumba tonight.
10/2--216.0 Up and down. Last night I realized that I was losing some focus this round. Didn't record my food for 2 days and I haven't been as active this round and it is showing up on the scale as these constant fluctuations this round. This morning I told myself it's only two more days for this round and just focus on my eating and water. Going on vacation in 2 days and the diet break will definitely be helpful.
10/3--215.8 Yoga tonight.

9/25 - removed due to technical issue with scales
9/26 - 83.0kg, successfully fasted for 16.5hrs! I think this weigh in is on the lower end of my fluctuations where yesterday was on the upper end. It’s motivating regardless
9/27 - 82.5kg, just over 3hours left of my second 16hr fast! I’ve been weighing myself at different times of the day so getting a lot of variation. It’s great to see the scale to go down but I’m not holding onto these lower numbers just yet. The past two days I’ve weighed myself after eating, but today was before eating, so perhaps the first weigh-in was over?
9/28 - 82.8kg, weighed first thing this morning. I have just over 4hrs left of my fast, really loving IF! I have my period so I imagine some bloating is factoring in, but not too concerned, it’s a slow process and I trust it
9/29 - 82.6kg, I broke my fast two hours early yesterday and ate food that was really hard to track but that ended up being all I ate yesterday so I still think I would have been under 1200cals. I am 100% sure my first weigh in was inaccurately high, after I’ve discovered a technical issue with my scales. So I’m going to remove that first one and just go off 9/26
9/30 - 84.2kg??????? Water weight? TOM? Very big dinner (still under 1200cals for day!) I’m sure it’ll come back down soon but it was disheartening to see, and I really wanted to just quit and eat terrible food for breakfast. Staying strong and sticking to IF though!! Good thing I packed a salad for work lunch
10/1 - 82.3kg, still going well with IF. I weighed myself later in the day yesterday and was at 82.2kg which is much better than the morning weigh in!!!! Consistently staying under 1200cals too
10/2 - 82kg !!!!!! I was so happy to see this on the scales this morning! It’s put me in a really great mindset and I just want to keep working towards my goal. I think I’ve struggled in the past to stick to this because I’m not seeing any immediate changes but weighing in every day is helping so much, and I know that IF/CICO is working
10/3 - 81.6kg, really happy with this but I’m sure it’ll go up a little bit again and that’s okay. Still going well with IF and staying under cals
10/4 - 81.6kg, I’m happy with this result for the day and overall! I stayed under cals yesterday and unintentionally fasted for about 20hrs, but ate really awful food when I finally got home. Lots of carbs and fat, while still minding my 1200cals. I’m really glad I did this challenge and will be back for the next round8 -

09/25: 249.4 - I'm not sleeping well lately. I think it's nerves from looking for a job after being a stay at home mom for so long. I woke up groggy and sore today. I have an interview tomorrow with a staffing agency and I hope it goes well. Also, I had a chicken fajita salad last night and it was delicious. I'm going to have that more often.
09/26: 249.8 - Strength training water retention. Not worried about the slight gain at all. I had an interview this morning and they want a second interview this afternoon. I hope this is a good sign! Hopefully I will be returning to the workforce by Monday! Thanks you guys for wishing me luck!
09/27: 250.6 - Wretched scale! Lol I ate really late last night and unexpected guests nicely brought subs for everyone. I was good though and only had a 6 inch. Unfortunately, it was smothered in mayo. I tried static stretching yesterday and it felt great but I'm a little sore today. I think I'm going to go light on food today and drink lots of water. I have my final weigh-in for the September Fat2Fit challenge and hopefully the scale drops a bit before then.
09/28: 250 - I think I'm getting sick, and TOM coming up.
09/29: 250.2 - I seriously hate water retention lol. I made some amazingly delicious turkey legs last night and ate them with stuffing and corn. It was fantastic but full of sodium. I can't wait till my next whoosh. Thank you for all the congrats on the job, I love the support in this group. You all so amazing!
09/30: 249.2 - I hope this means the water retention is passing. I start work Monday and hate that I'm going to be sick my first day.
10/01: 250.8 - First day of work and I'm so happy to be home with my kids.
10/02: no weight taken
10/03: 251.2 - I'm going to blame this on TOM lol! I'm hoping I can start working out again soon once I get used to working again.

deepwoodslady wrote: »ssssanaaaa wrote: »10/2- 188.0- guess what I ate yesterday. Rice. Surprise! Lol. High carbohydrate intake makes you retain water so obviously I didn't gain a pound of fat overnight but I still hate seeing the upwards fluctuation. My mom cooks at home a lot and rice is a staple in our cultural food so it's hard to avoid completely. I'm going to try to do really well today and tomorrow (no rice lol) so that maybe I get a chance of reaching my GW this time around? We'll see. Probably a stretch but that won't stop me from trying! Was a little over calories yesterday too. But I did go to the gym so that's good.
Try cauliflower rice. You can rice it yourself in a food processor or grate it into rice using a cheese grater. You can also buy it in the frozen section. Birdseye makes it and so does Green Giant. It's the only rice I use now. There are carbs but they are WAY WAY lower than real rice. It's also a nice source of fiber and some vitamins. Once you top it it is very hard to tell the difference. I do not like cauliflower, but I eat this several times a week because what I top it with makes it delicious. I had to get used to the smell at first since I don't generally like cauliflower, but once I did, it's fantastic. I am shocked at the things I eat now because my desire to be slimmer and healthier is so strong. Best wishes.
@deepwoodslady That's a really good idea! I've been eyeing cauliflower rice lately but I think it's a really good idea to go ahead and try it. I'll try it!!4 -

9/25 177.6 I'm going to the dentist today. 😬 I'm hoping to still get 10,000 steps today!
9/26 176.4 My trip to the dentist was a little easier than I expected! And not only did I get 10,000 steps yesterday but I surpassed it! I ended the day at 11,289 which is great for a day off. I have to be really intentional about it on days off. I'm happy with it.
9/27 177.2 Water weight? I was under on calories yesterday.
9/28 177.6 Alright now...😒 I can tell that TOM is coming because I'm craving chocolate and sweets like crazy! I was able to have some chocolate yesterday and still be under calories. My son joined me in my evening walk last night which was nice!
9/29 177.6 I’m slightly annoyed by this number but I’m trying not to be. I know that I’m about to start TOM. It’s just frustrating when you’re consistently under calories and exercising. Hopefully in another couple of days it’ll start going back down again.
9/30 176.8 Well that surprised me a little! I went to a wedding after work last night and I guesstimated on calories of the food that I ate. I even had a cupcake! Being gluten intolerant, I mostly assume that there’s not going to be anything gluten free at events. But these guys had a gluten free table set up, and even had some gluten free vegan cupcakes! It’s not often I get to have something like that, so I went for it and had one!
I did not like my reaction to yesterday’s weigh in. You see, I’m not used to daily weigh ins, this is my first time doing this challenge. I had to take a step back and remind myself to look at the big picture and to not get upset over just a few days. This is a life long journey! Keep up the work and change will happen!
10/1 175.8 Another surprise but I'll happily take it! I was so stressed and tired after work yesterday that all I wanted to do was rest. So I did.
I'm excited for this new month and I'm excited to keep the progress going! Let's finish this year strong!
10/2 175.8 I stayed the same and I'm ok with it. I'm going to stay on track today even if we are going out for dinner tonight! I've taken a couple of rest days, so I'm feeling ready to get a workout in today!
10/3 175.6 I went out to dinner last night and I even had pumpkin cider! And I managed to stay within calories!
Today has been somewhat stressful. I started the day with a low tire light on my car but hubby thought it should be ok to get to and from work. So I was nervous all day at work hoping I wasn’t going to be stuck there. Everything was fine until after work when I pulled into a gas station to get air for my tires, and clearly didn’t know what I was doing and made it worse lol! Luckily they didn’t go totally flat. Hubby met up with me and picked up our boy from school. Then I went to Firestone. They real quick put air in my tires and so far so good! Will keep an eye on it over the next couple of days. My previous car I’d had for nearly 15 years. My current car has some features that are new to me. Like I can see the tire pressure in the dash.
Other than that, one more day to this challenge! This is my first time doing this challenge and I’m glad I gave it a try! So much support and accountability! And thank you for the vertigo tips! Will check out that website. Doctor thinks that ear infection threw off something in my inner ear.

9/25- 188.9- was a little disappointed this didn't go down since yesterday but I'm really motivated to see the numbers go down tomorrow! Will make sure to plan and eat under calories today!
9/26- 190.1- I had rice last night. And I tend to go up on the scale any time I have rice. Will try to avoid and this better go down tomorrow. Tonight I have everything planned. Definitely not going to go back to the 190s. Hell no.
9/27- 188.3- Thank god. Did really well yesterday. Even had a slice of pizza but still under calories. Going to try to eat healthier tonight and still be under my calories. So far so good. Really want to reach my goal for this challenge. Also I'm going to the gym today after my vacation so that's good. I'm excited. I'm seeing my friends tomorrow to watch a movie but we all said we want to eat healthy so hopefully that works out.
9/28- 188.2- Wanted this to go down more since I was under my calories yesterday but I'm happy it didn't go up or something. Going in the right direction. Mini victory: Yesterday my mom made rice with kofta and I love rice but I decided to make some broccoli (which I also love) so I filled my plate with mostly broccoli and just a couple spoons of rice as well as kofta. And I stopped eating once I felt full which happened fast since the broccoli is satiating for me. That definitely helped me not fluctuate up this morning. Also I worked out yesterday. Strength training and cardio but I got tired faster than I did before vacation so have to build up to not being like that again. Crazy how quickly we can become unfit! Plans got cancelled today with friends so I'm planning on eating healthy today again! And want to be under calories so I see the scale budge more than it did today.
9/29- 187.7- woohoo! Haven't been this low in a while. Want to keep it going. Will stay under calories today even though it's the weekend! I'm determined. Also I'm still sore from working out. But will exercise today.
9/30- 186.8- yayy! Really happy about this. I've really been controlling myself. Yesterday, my mom and brother got something to eat when we went to Costco- I refused. Stayed under calorie goal yesterday. REALLY want to reach 185. It's my mini goal and I'm making good progress! I hope this doesn't stagger! Will try to be good today as well. So far so good. I've saved up some calories since I know I'm having a bigger dinner. Been snacking on blackberries and strawberries. Feeling pretty good. Will go to the gym tomorrow.
10/1- 186.8- definitely happy that this didn't go up because i was A LITTLE bit naughty yesterday but still under my calories. But my mom told me to get her and my brother a burger with fries and a drink since she hadn't eaten all day and she told me to get myself something too and I looked up the calories and everything was way too much to fit under my calorie goal so I just decided not to get anything at all! Not to toot my own horn, but I'm really proud about that. I would have never turned down opportunities to eat out before but I've really been trying hard to be good to myself instead of making a bad choice and making myself go through the whole self-loathing battle. Going to go to the gym today and planning to stay under calories! So far so good. Hopefully tomorrow we'll see a loss.
10/2- 188.0- guess what I ate yesterday. Rice. Surprise!
10/3- 188.8 Kinda hate myself for this but I had soy sauce (high sodium) yesterday with my broccoli. And A LITTLE rice.. thinking that it wouldn't do anything. But it ALWAYS does. I'm not touching it again until I get to 185. I feel kind of ridiculous. Like of course this is going to happen! Why would I think otherwise? I don't know.. Will definitely try cauliflower rice and see how I like it. Anyway, I've done a good job today. Will just keep it up at dinner and hopefully that will help with the scale tomorrow. Bummed out. Feel like I ruined my progress this challenge just for a little rice lol How ridiculous. Normal people have a weakness for cookies, brownies, chocolate. Not rice! Haha Go figure.

Swings and roundabouts! Ups and downs!
Some days smiles. Others frowns.
The pesky scale loves playing tricks,
But I'll take this weight and hope it sticks.
THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES OR SHORTCUTS to achieve permanent change.
REMINDERS One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.- Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
- A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
- Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
- The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
- Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
- The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
- When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
- Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

A year ago, I weighed 205 lbs!
I begin this journey at the weight of 228.3 1,000 days ago!
I rarely need to use willpower or motivation, as 100’s of tiny habits I developed slowly over a long time carry me along!
Despite what people say about it gets harder as time goes on, this time I found quite the opposite: it’s been the easiest ever. I only wish The research on changing habits, all of these apps, and the Apple Watch had been invented earlier!
9/25 159.6 water weight from injury & brace I am wearing... all will be fine! Eating less than normal & still walking.
9/26 161 or 162, can’t remember...still retaining a lot of fluids as body responds to break, meds, bruising. Surgery in 7 days.
9/27. 160.4 ***1,000th Day ***
On average, I’ve lost 1/2 a lb per week for 143 weeks!!! 250 calorie deficit daily. Barely noticeable changes over 1,000 days yielded a total weight loss of 68-71 pounds!
Small habit changes + time = big results
Thank you @tiabirdie56 @quiltingjaine @fraukazi @allmannerofthings @abowersgirl @deepwoodslady & @cdavisdeva for your kind words!!! ♥
9/28 160.8 with brace, swelling. Confirm with Dr that I should be having some water retention so I’m more relaxed.
9/29 160.0 with brace, hand towel, swelling
Finally, upwards graph turned downwards...
Managing the pain. Surgery in 5 days!!
Grateful it wasn’t worse.
I hope you all make the most of this late fall weekend! 🍂🍃🍁🌿
9/30 161 w/ brace, towel, swelling
V. Discouraging, but tracking & walking...probably water? Off all pain meds.
10/1 160 w/ brace, towel, swelling (A little higher sodium yesterday...hoping body will release the water soon.)
10/2 159 Finally!! Thank you for the hugs! We are all so strong, & even better together! 👨👩👧👦
10/3 160.2 walking & tracking, ate at maintenance in preparation for healing post surgery.
10/4 surgery day
RGW: drift back to 157
Have an awesome Round 54

25/09 Nothing much of note to report today, had a lazy logging day yesterday, probably ate a bit more than I should've. I started my bullet diary again for my NSV goals. Made sure to take my vitamins and get plenty of fluids as I'm getting all the warning signs I get before I get a cold. Same aims today and to complete my bullet journal with yesterday's info.
26/09 Still not feeling great ate a bunch of rubbish yesterday again, logged it all this time at least. All goals for the day completed. Today's goal is to finish under maintenance, stay away from the supermarket and get plenty of protein/fibre in.
27/09 Feeling much better and had a much better day of food/activity yesterday and kept it up so far this morning too. Goals for today, stick to food plan, stay away from supermarket and give apartment a deep clean this evening instead of sitting on the sofa in front of the TV all night.
28/09 Yesterday's goals mostly met, did make myself a protein hot chocolate last night which took me a little closer to maintenance than I would have liked but hey that's still a deficit. Got a load of cleaning done and only spent about 40 mins watching TV on the sofa whilst I had dinner and said Hot Chocolate. Today's goals are to hydrate and try to get a lower body workout in this evening either in the work gym or at home.
29/09 Nothing much to report had another maintenance day.
30/09 Good week for everything but food not been great at the old food intake this week.
01/10 Had a lovely row in West Cork yesterday, only a couple of hours out on the water but it was very relaxing. End of a very bad week for calories, still feeling off, not quite sick but not quite well. Thankful though that I am not suffering from the chest infections I used to pick up easily, up until a couple of years ago.
02/10 Better day for food yesterday, made some homemade salmon fishcakes for dinner, piled the plate high with broccoli and followed up with a tasty protein hot chocolate. Exercise-wise yesterday was a rest day, just focused on meeting my step goal and doing some squats at work
03/10 Had a bingey evening, logged it all and shark week is now upon me, which maybe explains a little why I am so bloody hungry even though I am eating more than enough
04/10 Went out for dinner last night, had a relatively good day for food and exercise, went out for first jog in about 6 weeks afterwards. I never used to run at all before May last year, I have started C25K a couple of times but never finished it, but I like the fact that even though it's been almost a couple of months since I last ran, I am not back at square one.9 -

Still feeling miserable, but working from home today and will go for a short run at lunch. Not logging today as I need to satisfy my cravings. Bring on the new round for new motivation! Honestly, without this group, I would just call it a day on counting cals, but I know it's ok to have days like this, even after a travel weekend and things will pick up again. Thanks for always setting up the new rounds and keeping us all on track, @GrandmaJackie

9/25 99.2 I've been away for a few rounds while I finished my thesis. Thesis has been submitted and I've got a lot of “”stress weight” to shed all over again.... Went all the way back to my original starting weight…
9/26 99.5 No excuses… result of half a pack of biscuits and 2 croissants yesterday
9/27 99.1 result of spinning and running!
9/28 99.2 ….no idea..... Was good yesterday! Muscles are sore from Wednesdays gym trip though so hoping it's water retention….
9/29 99.1...
9/30 99.4 I don't know… w1d3 of c25k plus 5 hours gardening, under on calories but I gain?!?! Confused!
10/1 99.4 starting to feel like my body doesn't want to give up the winter stores!
10/2 99.6 wtaf....?!?! I did w2d1 of c25k yesterday, ate within calories (1200) yet i manage to put on again?!?!
10/3 99.3 at least It's the right direction I guess… annoying as I didn't watch my diet or get much exercise yesterday… so I behave =I gain, I relax = I lose?!?!
10/4 98.8 woohoo! Downward movement! Yay! Not quite to target but nearly there!

Starting weight for round 202.4
9/25 201.5 Good start to this round. Like the number going down.
9/26 201.3 Trying to really watch what I am eating. Hoping for a bigger lose, but I am happy with any lose. .2 lost is .2 lost.
9/27 199.6 Not quite believing it. Complete shock this morning. Hoping it stays.
9/28 199.7 Maybe this will stay. Measured myself for the first time since I began dieting and lost over 3 inches in each spot on my torso. Over 35 pounds and still no one has noticed. Waiting for it to be noticeable. Very happy today and motivated.

9/25 192.0 - I’m hoping this daily accountability will help me keep my eating in check
9/26: 194.8 - I have no words
9/27: 193.0 - Ate better yesterday & had my pilates class. Seemed to do the trick. Yay!
9/28: 193.2 - Soooooo disappointed. Did another pilates last night, ate good all day, felt “skinny” this morning & I’m up point two. Now I have to deal with the weekend. Yikes!
9/29: 192.6 - Pleasantly surprised but I’m thinking my weight change is a day or two behind my actions - be it exercise & eating right or just the opposite. I’ll enjoy my numbers today as tomorrow it will be a completely different story. I can’t remember what someone wrote in an earlier post but I liked it - something about the scale is just a number not my life. I’ll have to go back & find the correct quote. I’m going to start focusing on how I FEEL each day & not let the scale dictate that anymore.
9/30: 193.2 - It is what it is but it’s actually better than I thought. I should change my goal for this round to get back to my STARTING WEIGHT!! First round for me & I’m shaking it down. Quite the reality check weighing in everyday. I feel good things are going to happen in October!!
10/1: 192.4 - I’ll take it!! Plan is to eat smart today & Zumba tonight (first time in about 10 years-yikes)
10/2: 192.4 - interesting since Zumba got cancelled & I ate 2 donuts instead!
10/3: 192.2 - again interesting as my walk got cancelled & I ate a donut instead. Yes getting down to my R54 starting is my updated goal
10/4: 193.0 - Grrrrrrrr!! Ate good yesterday & did my pilates class last night & I’m up. Soooooo... when I don’t exercise & eat donuts I lose weight. I eat right & exercise & I gain. 🤔

Day/Weight/Comment
9/25 - 151.5 - I had to hop on the scale a couple times to believe it this morning. I hope it sticks around!
9/26 - 151 - Wow, 1 lb. from my top goal weight. I know my weight will be bouncing up and down over the next week due to water, stress, etc., but seeing this number makes me so happy this morning!
9/27 - 150 - WooHoo! I certainly did not expect to see this! This has been my goal weight since I joined MFP back in February of 2015 weighing 188. I lost and gained back around 15 pounds for 3 years until March of this year. Starting at 186, I decided to really make an effort this time. My loss stalled in May, so I started looking for something to give me the motivation to continue. I found this 10 day challenge. The daily weighing, advice, commiseration, victories, etc. have made all the difference this time. I can't tell you how much I've learned from reading all of your daily stories. Thank you to all!
9/28 - 150.5 - I'm fine with this. I ate about 1100 calories yesterday, so I'm sure it's water retention. Our office has a vendor bringing in pizza for lunch so I'll try to drink plenty of water today.
9/29 - 150.5 - I had a piece of pizza for lunch yesterday and I brought some home so I had a piece for supper. It was Pizza Hut and I checked their web site for nutritional information. I noted the information and when I went to input on MFP I realized how far off the database calories were. My large piece on Pizza Hut's site was 340 calories. In the database people had recorded from 240 to 270 calories. I've seen variations before but nothing that drastic for something that verifiable. That was a reminder for me to double check all my foods.
9/30 - 151.5 - I did not want to weigh this morning. I knew I ate/drank over weight loss calories, but below maintenance and I know what that does to my water retention. We have out of town family in again and there was some celebrating yesterday. I've been better today so hopefully I'll drop back a half pound or so by Thursday.
10/1 - 151.5 - Back to the office and back to trying to lose these next few pounds.
10/2 - 151.5 - I guess my body is just going to hold on this weight for a little bit.
10/3 - 151 - Four years ago I had to start taking blood pressure meds. It was HCZ, a water pill. This past May, my sodium level dropped below normal, so my Dr. prescribed an alternative. I was having issues with vertigo, so I was afraid to start taking it, not knowing if it would make me worse. After my vertigo resolved (thanks to @quiltingjaine) I decided to hold off taking it as the random BP tests I did at home was showing my blood pressure was dropping to normal. At my annual women's physical yesterday, it became official...it was 118/78, down from the 140's/90's it had been right after I was taken off the water pill. The number on the scale may not move as quickly as I would like some days, but the other benefits of slow but steady weight loss are immeasurable!
10/4 - 151 - Although I'm up a pound from one week ago (for no good reason other than water weight) I managed to drop a pound and a half from last round, so I'm very happy.9 -

9/25 178.6 I can tell from the way my rings are biting into my fingers that there is some water retention going on here. (ETA) Began the day with C25K second workout. t was a little harder than the first one- i had to take a longer walk break in the middle but I got it done!
9/26 179.2 up but not a problem Annual trip to the ball game with DS1 last night. Skipped the beer (not hard) skipped the sweet potato fries (heroic effort). Had a smoked sausage on a bun - so lots of sodium.
9/27 179.2 today is the last day of special events and projects that have been going on all of September. Things should be calmer and more focused for the next few weeks - tempting fate to say that I know, but fingers crossed.
9/28 179 overslept - so did not begin with a "run" will try to catch up later in the day.
9/29 179.8 But "always look on the bright side of life" I began today with a workout and set a new PR for plank - 4 minutes!
9/30 179.8 First day in a long time where I was not having to fight the stress eating. What a relief Beginning today with my overdue C25K "run" - not sure when I will fell it is legit to call it a run - maybe when the running is more than half the time?
10/1 179.4
10/2 178.2 whoosh and new favourite snack - pumpkin spice cheerios!
10/3 177.6
10/4 177.2 -0.6 for the round. not a big loss - but the last few days I'm back in control so i am feeling really good about the next round.10 -

9/25 —132.6— Serious lack of sleep 😣 hoping to get better sleep tonight!
9/26 —131.8— Still haven’t got my normal amount of sleep, it has been such a busy week! Thankfully the water weight has started to come off though.😃
9/27 —132.0— I fell asleep before dinner last night, so I got SO much sleep.. maybe too much! Need to work on drinking more water today.
9/28 —132.6— Super early weigh in today, 12-hour hospital shift for me! Hoping this weight is going to drop soon😐
9/29 —132.0— Another night where I fell asleep by 8pm. My week has been crazy! Excited for sushi tonight🍣😁
9/30 —131.8— I struggled SO hard with cravings yesterday! Just one of those days I guess. 😝 Happy Sunday everyone!
10/1 —131.8— Yesterday I had a big family gathering and gave in to temptations (heath bar cookies.. so good!). Thankfully I made it up by ordering chicken lettuce wraps for dinner. I’m so proud of myself for not just giving up on the day after making a few poor choices.. a huge problem I’ve had in the past! Also, it’s October!! Yay! 🎃
10/2 —131.0— It took about a week, but it finally went down..😊
10/3 —130.0— Not sure what I am doing RIGHT?! I have been eating more than usual, but still in my calorie range. I really didn’t think I was going to be able to hit my goal this round, but these last few days are giving me new hope.. So excited I am almost in a new decade!🎉
10/4 —129.4— Okay, even though I AM doing everything I’m supposed to.. I’m getting suspicious of this weight coming off like this.. 🧐 nevertheless, I am happy about it!! Finishing the round strong with a record (for me) 3 pound loss! 💪🏼10 -
