CARBS are feeling left out - just sayin' :'(

Carbs are sugars and sugars are carbs. Starches are just chains of sugars and fiber is just chains of sugars you don't have the enzymes required to digest.

Do you have to spoil everything with SCIENCE?!

LOL! Always slipping in those easily understood and useful bits of information :)

I believe carbs are magic fairy farts, spread around the world by the ancient masters of Sugaria. They do this to help make us happy!😏

If it's camembert, then the dip needs to be cranberry. There is no disputing this.

Cranberry dip? I need a recipe for that!

I will confess it comes from the pizza place along with the deep fried camembert...I think it's just cranberry sauce/jelly?

Wait. There's a pizza place that sells deep fried camembert with cranberry dipping sauce???

It would be better if it was a NY STRIP.. way less calories and better!!!!!

I don't think "way less calories" and "better" belong in the same sentence together when talking about steak.

    NY strips are overrated.

I think we need a Steak Debate thread.

Nope. Until it's been debated to death and taken to ridiculous extremes, the topic has not been MFP qualified to be considered settled.

I'll put my vote in for Spam as the best steak.

    You're too late. ;)

Can chicken be a steak? What if it's on a bun? :naughty:

What if the steak is chicken fried and covered in gravy?

And it will never be settled because two years later someone will dig it up and make their MFP debut by posting a rant about how horrible steak is for you because protein (I'm assuming protein will have become the devil by that time - we'll have rolled through everything else).

Veggies sauteed in pork jowl (especially mushrooms to soak up all the delicious fat)
Pure cocoa butter when I am craving something sweet
Crushed almonds mixed in cream cheese and then stuffed into a celery stick
Egg salad with avocado oil mayo and diced avocado
Thinly sliced salmon on a fathead dough "bagel", with pickled onions and fresh dill

If it can be prepared by a short order cook you shouldn't consider it in the same league.

'I wish I'd been around to post with THOSE awesome people!'

I look back on some of the old threads with sadness when I see a username of someone who no longer posts here. So many amazing people have come and gone. Of course, there are still a lot of great people here.

Dead horses need tenderizing if you are going to make steaks out of them.

He'll never be finished mocking me. I guess it makes him feel like a bigger man  Luckily most of it goes right over my head

My MFP legacy is going to be the short girl who got shorter. Better than what some other people accuse me of.
