10/15 —128.8— pasta yesterday & early morning weigh in 😐
10/16 —129.0— went slightly over in carbs yesterday, had cravings like no other! Today’s weigh in is at 4:30am, 12-hour hospital shift ahead of me, so no surprise.. hope it starts to go down the rest of the week.🤞🏼
10/17 —128.8— happy to see it go down a bit, but today was another early wake up and my body is sore from yesterday. Rest of the week I get to relax more😊
10/18 —127.4— This seems to be the pattern every week.. slowly going up Sunday to Wednesday and then a sudden drop when I can sleep good!
10/19 —127.4— holding steady. I don’t think I’ll have a scale the next 2 days, I’ll be staying in an Airbnb for a wedding that’s out of town. I will still update and try to be as good as possible, but I do plan on having some wine (and cake!) at the wedding tomorrow and I haven’t had alcohol in over 2 months! I am excited haha.. have an awesome weekend everyone!

10/15 152 I'm really surprised I didn't gain anything from the weekend. I felt so full and yucky yesterday from all the wine I had Saturday night. I only had 700 calories yesterday though because I really couldn't eat much. Not complaining though! Hope you all are well, I didnt have much time on my phone this weekend to read all your posts but I plan to go back through them today .
10/16 151 Woohoo! So close to the 140's. I was just thinking back to my crazy hunger phase that I had back in September. So glad I pushed through it. It has definitely gotten easier .

10/15: 196.2 -- what? This is the highest weight that I've seen in a while and it is super discouraging. I've been logging religiously and working out- I guess I've got to lower my calories.

10/18: 196.2 -- STILL. I guess this isn't surprising. I was very sedentary the last few days and the work trip came with lots of eating events. I am bummed though because I was hoping the 196 number was a fluke. I guess I need to own it. Today my goal is to stick within my calorie range and show a big deficit. I also want to get my body movin'!
10/19: 194.2 -- this seems a little back to normal. I did pretty good with my food yesterday but my portion sizes were a bit too large last night at dinner. I did make it to lunchtime spin class which was a feat given my crazy schedule yesterday. Today is Friday and I've got a super healthy lunch packed. Planning to hit the gym at lunch- or maybe head outside for a run if the sun comes out. I've had a long week at work and I'm looking forward to the weekend.

This is less than 1 lb. per round but as I realize that may not be possible as I get lower (1 lb per round would put me at 131).

10/15 – 161.9 - Early to the gym today as hubby needed the car so posting late. Sure feels good to have worked the muscles a bit.
10/16 - 162 – Argh, the last few weeks coming home to roost. Having fed the cravings monster faithfully, now have to beat it back and kick it out. Listened to Youtube last night and someone made an aside comment about the theory that what we eat promotes certain bacteria in our gut so if we eat lots of sugar/carbs we will crave that because that is what our gut bacteria now want.
10/17 - 161.4 Gym today. Got some apples in the house again. They are so good at this time of year and keep me from other desserts/snacks.

10/19 - 160.8 – Good day yesterday. Still a little over cals. but not with sugar/fat. Got a few things done that have been sitting there forever it seems. One was so fast I can’t believe I procrastinated on it so long. The other is slow, as I guessed it would be, but at least I can see it chipping away.

Third week on Keto WOE and impressed with decreased arthritis hip and shoulder pain. Yay!
Round 54 – SW 178 lb. down to 171.8 lb. (6.2 lb. loss) This was my beginning of eating keto and tracking calories.

10/15 169.2 This is the number I wanted to see yesterday, but today’s good, too. It was raining when I woke up for my walk with Thor (my GSD). So, we slept another 1½ hours, and it was still raining. I’ll have to exercise inside today. Thor can run in the yard, and I’ll dry him off. I’m happy I mowed my yard and burned my brush piles before the rain started. I'd rather work outside, but I'll bake oatmeal cookies for my thin husband, cook Turkey Cabbage Stew to portion out and freeze, and do my husband's ironing so he'll look well cared for. After the rain stops—plant winter garden. Praying for a blessed day for all you fellow losers! I love being a (weight) loser.
10/16 168.4 Unexpected! I hope it doesn’t come back tomorrow. I have lunch at the women’s club meeting today—good time to practice restraint in preparation for the 10-day tour in New England states next month.
10/17 167.4 Really? Just to be sure, I got on the scale again, and verified the number. I’m keeping it! Thor and I did our 3+ mile walk this cool morning. The side is kinda blown out on my right walking boot, but I didn’t wear my newer pair because I realized this lets my toes spread and prevents the pain from my Norton’s Neuroma (small tumor between my toes). The Lord blesses me in mysterious ways. 😊 I think I can credit this keto WOE for less arthritis pain in my back/hips and shoulder. Even if I wasn’t losing weight, it’s worth being able to get more done without pain.
10/18 167.4 I’m good with no change today. Didn’t get to walk today, but I had a great day hanging out with friends. I turned down sweets, but had a glass of wine. I hope it doesn’t haunt me tomorrow.
10/19 167.0 I like the way this is going! Thor and I got in our 3.2 mile walk today. Rain drops began falling on our heads before we reached the half-way point, but we didn’t let it stop us. The rain stopped, and the walk was enjoyable. When we first started our walks, 4 weeks ago, herds of cattle would trot to the fence along the road to see if we had anything for them. Now, they’re used to us and just glance up and go back to grazing. 😊

The last 2 days have been higher carb and calorie, but I’ve tried really hard to watch my portion sizes. We have ordered a lot of carry out to stay at home with him. Wow. Such delicious choices in this big city. No exercise or walking, unfortunately, but I’ll get back to what I can do when I get home. I dread the long drive home and the weight scale that awaits me. But I loved seeing my DB and DSIL again. It’s been nearly a year. My SIL is a nurse and will be able to take good care of him. She just needed my help for the first few days. Poor guy.

🎀 10/15 - 180.2 - Still tired lol. 65g carbs, 52g net carbs. Last night I thought I would have a good report on carb intake, then I remembered the bread and butter that I ate with my DGD, smh. I have some reading to do on the last thread.
🎀 10/16 - 181.6 - I have been neglecting my electrolytes. Sodium and potassium have been very low for the past 2 weeks. Probably also contributing to my tiredness. Carbs were higher than 25g yesterday, but I can go as high as 50g without a problem. So, the plan is electrolytes twice a day until my body adjusts.
🎀 10/17 - 179.8 - Electrolytes X 2✔ 10 hours of sleep?!✔✔ That NEVER happens. Still tired though, lol. Inadvertently, I did a sort of egg fast. My first meal, I ate 2 boiled eggs that were sitting in the fridge with some cheddar cheese. I wasn't in the mood for the dinner that I prepared, so my second meal was an omelette filled with spinach and arugula.
🎀 10/18 - Scale weight was all over the place this morning. Started with 172, ten times! Ended with 180.2, three times. Other numbers in between. Hopeful that it will settle tomorrow.
🎀 10/19 - 178.2 - I went to bed at 9pm last night. I've been slowly decreasing the carb grams back to keto level this week and increasing the fat. Drinking my electrolytes. Sunday was 65g carbs, 52g net carbs. Yesterday was 22g carbs, 18g net carbs. Also, getting back to 16/8 and 20/4 intermittent fasting. IF was not consistent daily while I worked on the project for my friend.

10/15 - 80.1kg, I expected my weight to go up a little. Bit too much sodium at dinner. I’m okay with this though! Still going strong with IF, eating 1200cals and drinking at least 1.5L of water. I’m feeling incredibly motivated and excited for this round
10/16 - 79.5kg !!! I feel like I’ll plateau around this number for a few days but happy to see it come down, and feeling much less bloated than yesterday
10/17 - 79.6kg, expected! Okay with it! I haven’t had coffee for two days and I’ve noticed I’ve not been so ‘regular’, which is probably contributing as well

10/19 - 79.4kg, happy with this considering I went a little over calories last night and probably had a bit too much sodium. I drank so much water though, over 2L!

Round 7 for me. I've not been consistent and dropped out in round 5 and messed up in round 6. This has resulted in a 2 pound gain, but to be honest, I needed to give the scale a break as it was making me more depressed than helping me focus. Anyway, I'm back with a refreshed mind and a fighting spirit. Goal to get to 190lbs this round.

10/16 195lbs ...so disappointed, but I'm hoping that is it all the water that I've been drinking and the fact that I did a kettle bar routine and my muscles are recovering... oh well all I can do is keep on trying
10/17 197lbs ... my scale must be broken .. 4lbs gain in two days !!!! Hopefully, I'll start losing again. Still exercising and chugging the water. Refuse to let this get me down, just hope my body starts adjusting

Did well on my weight loss last round but not on my other goals. Will be leaving on vacation on 10/20 so I won't be able to finish out this round since I won't have internet access. I also won't be tracking my food/calories while I'm gone. I plan to enjoy eating on the cruise without going overboard on junk. I also plan to focus on increasing my water intake and getting more exercise on vacation.

10/15: 267.2 (+0.2) made whole wheat spaghetti for dinner. First time having pasta since July and I had high expectations, but frankly it was awful! Didn't eat much and ended up just having a protein shake to get my calories up and get some protein. I still want the sweets (but avoiding them except for my low sugar protein shakes and an occasional piece of dark chocolate) but have no interest in starches. 1114 calories, 104g protein, 50oz water
10/16: 266.4 (-0.8) took a break during the afternoon at work and went for a walk 1318 calories, 93g protein, 63oz water
10/17: 265.6 (-0.8) ended up at the Mexican restaurant for dinner. Avoided the chips even though that basket sat in front of me taunting me the whole time. Probably should've ordered a salad but had chile rellenos instead. 1388 calories, 89g protein, 76oz water
10/18: 267.0 (+1.4) I actually feel bigger today, ugh. 1076 calories, 94g protein, 50oz water
10/19: 266.0 (-1.0) 2 days ago I was feeling pretty certain I would make my round goal for weight. Now I'm not feeling so confident.

10/15 - 192.4, following a weekend getaway with some pretty lax eating. Looking forward to focusing on my goal for the next 10 days!
10/16 - 193.0, which I think is some delayed fallout from my bingey weekend. Also, I had 150 cals of popcorn for a post-workout carb last night just before bed, so I wouldn't be surprised if some of that gain is salt retention too. Ate within my targets yesterday, so I'm sure I'll see the scale moving in the right direction soon.
10/17 - 192.6, moving the right way today! Last night, I was eating Monday's leftovers for dinner, and realized I made a mistake tracking the meal, and was shy 300 calories! That also helps explain the increase yesterday... figured it out and fixed my mistake. I'm hoping I can hit 190 by the end of this round... I haven't seen a 1-8 at the front of my weight in years (unless the scale has been glitching haha) and it's feeling so close!
10/18 - 193.0... ARG. I haven't been sleeping well this week, maybe that's why I'm really not seeing the scale move? Feeling pretty frustrated, kind of want to just give up for the week and dive bomb into a loaf of bread. I won't though. Still, pretty annoyed.
10/19 - 193.9 got sad yesterday and did some emotional eating in the evening, so I was expecting his. Its something I'm working on, and ultimately I didn't binge as much as I used to, so not too bad considering. I just did a 10.75km this korning though, which has renewed my motivation! I surpassed my goal of getting to 10km by the end of October, YAY! Just had a teriyaki chicken skillet for 300 cal and a latte, and planning on keeping dinner lighter too, and trying to use this run to balance out my missteps this week.

I am a 50 year old 5'5" woman. I am trying to get healthier to avoid diabetes and all of the problems that come from being overweight.
I have found this challenge to be both rewarding and frustrating! Looking at my weight daily has been a real eye opener to see all of the fluctuations and how a high carb day will affect me and the loss for 2-3 days after. On the other hand when I look at the big picture and the averages it has been a consistent loss except for two rounds. Round 53 was my 50 birthday celebrations that upped my weight for a few days.
I need to step up my game if I want to meet any of my goals.

Can I say to anyone getting more than 10,000 steps that I am VERY impressed. I walked over 3.5 miles yesterday and didn't hit 10K. I see people hitting 20K and I feel tired! Congrats to you all.

This is my third round. I think the best part of this challenge is that in recording the weight every day with a comment, I talk myself down from the hype that comes with weighing myself every day. It’s so easy to have the scale affect my mood. This challenge reminds me that my goal for the 10 days is to lose 1.5 – 3 lbs and puts the scale—the ups, the downs, the lack of movement, the ups and downs…into perspective! 10/17 - 173 - Short walk yesterday, missed the gym cause I was at the eye doctor.
10/18 - 172.5 - No gym or walk. Waiting for a package....and then it was raining. Did not eat well. Time to get back on track.
10/19 - 173 - Sigh. Hope this is just like the last 10 days...the up before the down. Exercised & walked yesterday, ate within goals.

10/16: 194. Bleh. Did yoga for zombies yesterday because I was short on time. Doing Day 1 of the 30 days of yoga today. Also going for a run. Did a little low intensity water walking with my mom, who has health issues. Hoping the scales will go back down tomorrow.
10/17:194.4. Ate garbage, didn’t get enough sleep, feel like garbage. Youtube was down when I was about to start my 30 days of yoga, and by the time I found the workaround, it was too late in the night. Will start it tonight after strength training. Bleh. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
10/18: 194.4. Got more sleep. Will hopefully see a loss tomorrow. Day 2/30.
10/19: 195.9. Just water weight. Too much salt yesterday. Drinking a lot of water to compensate.

Carbs were higher than 25g yesterday, but I can go as high as 50g without a problem. So, the plan is electrolytes twice a day until my body adjusts.
🎀 10/17 - 179.8 - Electrolytes X 2✔ 10 hours of sleep?!✔✔ That NEVER happens. Still tired though, lol. Inadvertently, I did a sort of egg fast. My first meal, I ate 2 boiled eggs that were sitting in the fridge with some cheddar cheese. I wasn't in the mood for the dinner that I prepared, so my second meal was an omelette filled with spinach and arugula.
🎀 10/18 - Scale weight was all over the place this morning. Started with 172, ten times! Ended with 180.2, three times. Other numbers in between. Hopeful that it will settle tomorrow.
🎀 10/19 - 178.2 - I went to bed at 9pm last night. I've been slowly decreasing the carb grams back to keto level this week and increasing the fat. Drinking my electrolytes. Sunday was 65g carbs, 52g net carbs. Yesterday was 22g carbs, 18g net carbs. Also, getting back to 16/8 and 20/4 intermittent fasting. IF was not consistent daily while I worked on the project for my friend.

@tiabirdie56 It looks like getting back to Keto level low carbs is working great for you. Down 3.6 in 3 days. The sleep probably didn't hurt either. You're doing fantastic!

@abowersgirl and @missm2 You ladies are killing it! I'm so inspired that I took a 40 minute walk in my brother's neighborhood after all, this evening. I had to go alone, and I'm not very familiar with the neighborhood, but it was crowded with houses compared to where I live which made me feel a bit safer. I absolutely love it when I am inspired by someone else's great progress! Nice job ladies!9

10/15- Finally seen some good results at the scale. Eating lots of vegetables.
10/16- Planned meals, and lots of vegetables, getting my steps up. Starting to fit into some of my clothes.
10/17- Had another great day! Eating healthy.
10/18- Doing great with healthy eating I just have to get the exercise in.I went to the hairdresser and she styled my hair so you cannot see where I lost the hair due to radiation.
