Ultimate GOAL: 130's
Day/Weight/Comment
10/24 148.4 lunch time walk, cardio at the gym, 10k steps, ate healthy, two glasses of wine and one dark chocolate treat
10/25 147.0 ??? Today is a long day with after school workshops for the parents. We'll be ordering dinner. Persian food is one of my favorites. 12 hour work day - 11k steps
10/26 150 Hmmm. I expected to be a little higher than yesterday but not this much. I'll drink lots of water and see where this goes tomorrow. I won't let this bump lead me into a downward spiral like it did last round. I actually ended the last round not far from where I started, so I could have lost weight by sticking it out.
10/27 149.2 Weight after breakfast because I forgot.
Great workout with my trainer today. My Physical Therapist said not to work on biceps, but I feel that listening to my her is contributing to my freezing shoulder. I'm going to trust my personal trainer to know how to help me exercise without further injuring my shoulder. Concert tonight at the Hollywood Bowl with a picnic dinner - I can't wait and will be making healthy choices so that I can splurge a little with my beverage.
10/28 150 Had a great time last night. Time to chug the water. Food prep day
10/29 150 Within calories, went to the gym.
10/30 150.4 Just a little over calories. Didn't stress during my meeting. Someone next to me was eating peanuts and candy, and though she offered me some, I refused.
10/31 149.2 Happy Halloween!
11/01 148.8
11/02 150 I sabotaged my efforts with Halloween candy. I don't even like sweets. Why did I do this?

End of round 56: 192.6 (-2.0 lbs)
Day/weight/comment
10/25: 192.6 -- It's a little bit of a rainy day here today. I am a bit swamped at work, but I hope to make it out to the gym at lunch. Actually change that. I WILL make it to the gym at lunch.
10/26: 194.6 -- such a roller coaster! I thought I did well yesterday. I did have a snack attack last night and ate some chocolate chips out of the bag. I know realistically that is NOT why the scale is up 2 lbs... but I can't help but feel remorse at that decision. Work is really busy, I'm a little stressed about it. I was working from home late last night, and it seemed like a good idea. I did make it to the gym yesterday and had a fabulous 40 min treadmill workout followed by a long stretching session. Today it's Friday, I'm about to leave work, and I plan to stop on my way home and go for a run in the rain. I could go to the gym and exercise indoors, but I am craving fresh air. Besides I live on the Oregon coast where it is ALWAYS raining so if I stay inside to exercise in the winter, well, I'll always be inside which is not my thing.
10/27: 194.8 -- I'm wondering if that 192 something was just a random fluke. Anyway, I'm happy to report that I DID get that run in on Friday, rain and all. It was actually really nice. I had a ton of energy and felt like I was flying! I'm sure I wasn't really as fast as I felt, but it was nice to run and feel good doing it.
10/28: 196.2 -- It is TTOM for me and I am retaining water, I have realized. I'm hoping things go back to normal soon. The important thing is to be consistent with my logging, water, and exercise, and hang on for the ride. Yesterday I hauled my horse down to a friend's arena for a barn Halloween party. It actually was quite a good workout as we played all kinds of games and I rode for a couple of hours. The perfect thing for an otherwise rainy afternoon.
10/29: 196.8 -- OK. Now I'm getting pissed. I really ate pretty well yesterday. I made good choices and a delicious and super healthy dinner. I did not get any formal exercise yesterday, but I had 13k steps just around our farm. It was a surprise sunny day and the kids and I played outside, went on a hike, and did crafts with beautiful fall leaves. Then in the late afternoon the whole family went salmon fishing at a nearby river. We didn't catch any or even get any bites, but it was the first time we've all gone fishing together and it was fun teaching my 6 year old son how to cast. We cast out into the river for an hour or so and then decided the fish weren't biting, so we went mushroom hunting in the nearby forest instead. I stayed in the car with our young daughter who had enough, but my son and husband came back with chantrelles which are my favorite. I then made a yummy shepherd's pie with sweet potato mashed potatoes on top and the chantrelles were the starring ingredient! It was so delicious. Now I'm back at work and back into the routine. I have my gym stuff with me and plan to get a butt kicking workout in at the gym during lunch.
10/30: 194.6 -- coming back down. Today is busy and I won't manage a workout, but yesterday I ended up going for a 45 minute run outside. It was awesome and I felt great. Overall I have been feeling good lately. Less tired, more energy, enjoying my workouts. I keep overeating a bit and that's why the scale isn't budging much since I started these challenges, but I'm keeping at it because I like the daily weigh ins.
10/31: 194 -- yesterday was busy as expected, my son had soccer practice and I was in meetings all day at work. One of those nights where I'm cleaning the horse barn at 9 pm in the dark after the kids go to bed... so no other exercise was possible. Today is Halloween! With two little kids I'll surely be busy, but should get my steps in.
11/01:194.2 -- weight seems to have stabilized although I'm still disappointed it's up since starting the challenge. Yesterday I definitely enjoyed some Halloween candy! But that is all behind me. I've got to exercise every day over the next 3 days to meet my exercise goal. I'm headed to the gym at lunch and plan to do a combined cardio and strength workout of some sort.
11/02: 194 -- I got into the kids' Halloween candy again last night. Arrgh! Must leave that stuff alone. I have this problem in the latter half of my day where I make poor food choices. Today my goal is to NOT let the snacking monster out. I did hit the gym yesterday as planned and achieved a great elliptical and strength workout, the latter of which I already feel sore from. Goal for today is to get back into the gym and do treadmill and lower body strength, since yesterday my strength workout was really upper body focused. If the rain quits and the sun comes out, I'll exercise outdoors instead!!!

Round 57: My 1st Round
F/23/5’3’’/SW 59kg
10/25 – 58.7kg Exercised for 30min yesterday and ate healthy breakfast and lunch and ended up eating heavy dinner. I tend to eat more for dinners should try to control this.
10/26 – 58.5kg (-0.2kg) didn’t exercise at all yesterday, finished my dinner early rather than having late night dinners I decided to eat early and I am happy to see the difference. Will try to stick to this plan.
10/27 – 58.3kg (-0.2kg) Spent some time in the morning to exercise. I realized how difficult it is to burn calories and then how easy it is to eat all those calories, so whole day I was very choosy and careful about what I ate. I went out with friends and I said no to Pizzzaaa I can’t believe I did that!! Wow! and the prize for that is what I saw in the morning today a drop of 0.2kg! yay!!
10/28 – 58.3kg no exercise just ate within calorie limit.
10/29 – 58.5g (+0.2kg) reason for this was obviously all the cake, ice-cream and chips that I had yesterday, didn’t exercise…I will consider that to be a cheat day and will be back on track from today.
10/30 – 58.4kg (-0.1kg) Exercised for 15min, ate within calorie limit. Soo close to the end date and still have 500 grams more to lose...I have to start increasing my workout time but after working out for like 10 min I feel exhausted...planning to be on a fruit diet today and see if I feel any difference in weight.
10/31 – 58.3kg (-0.1kg) Yesterday I had one apple and few nuts and survived till evening and then came snacks time and I was so tired and gave up, ended up eating chips and then noodles…well then, I realized that I really messed up my day so I worked out for 30 min doing some core exercises.
11/01 – 58.2kg (-0.1kg) Yesterday I worked out in the morning and also in the evening, I can still feel the pain in my hands and legs…my best workout so far! Yesterday was a successful no junk food day, ate within calories. Two more days to go and 300 grams to see…I do want to see myself in the 57s by the end of this round. Determined to hit the gym for the next 3 days.
11/02 – 58.2kg Did some core body workouts…didn’t go to gym yesterday so I woke up early today morning and ran on treadmill for 30min.
11/03 – 57.9kgs (Target)

@mthomas0228 Thank you for the pics! I love seeing the kids in costume. Our 3 area grands are 14, 15, and 16 and live 12 miles away. I know the 15 year old turned herself into Pennywise from “IT” but don’t know about the others. Living in a 55+ neighborhood, we don’t get trick or treaters.
@bubblegum2fitness I have always loved to bake. My husband discovered the joy of baking a few years ago. Since I started keto he doesn’t bake as often but when he does, he packages the cookies and delivers them to friends.
@Ooga78 Happy 40th!!
@shunggie Have you tried overnight refrigerator oatmeal? Dozens of options if you google it. I’m not an oatmeal fan but it was almost like eating pudding for breakfast when cold or could be microwaved and eaten hot. And can be made ahead!
@mds0424 I’m a morning and bedtime weigher. If I’m +2# at bedtime, I know I will be lower or even the next morning with that morning’s weight.

What we need to succeed is a sustainable way of eating, not a DIET we go on and off.
This is NOT A DIET. It’s a LIFESTYLE.
10/25 131.0 Met my friend Amy at the gym yesterday did 20 minutes on the treadmill and 2 1/2 minutes on the elliptical. I know that’s not much, but the gym is remodeling and have no ladies room and I really needed one. I hadn’t been on the elliptical for probably three years and it’s been almost 2 since I last did the treadmill except a few days last month when Amy and I started doing this together. Searched out my HRM and need to update the settings- the last time I used it I weighed 174!
10/26 131.0 Met Amy at the gym yesterday. Guild meeting last night and I didn’t snack on ANY of the goodies available. I didn’t even look at them!
10/27 130.5 Dinner at friends last night. Pork ribs and roasted Brussels sprouts. Had 1 adult beverage. Today my sewing friends are coming over. I’m making a keto casserole and more Brussels sprouts! Also Cream Cheese Fudge, another keto recipe.
10/28 130.5 Was busy yesterday getting ready for sewing friends so didn’t eat until almost 2PM. They left after 6 and DH was at a card game. My stomach started to growl at 8:30 so I reheated a little of the leftover. I hate eating that late but, as it turned out, we went out late and I didn’t go to bed until 2AM.
10/29 130.5 I had the worst Charlie Horse in my right calf and foot yesterday. It took a few minutes for Carl to break it up and it was stressful I was shaking after. Today I have residual pain. Going to meet my friend at the gym at 2 with my new HR monitor. I didn’t know Amazon delivered on Sundays!
10/30 130.0
10/31 131.5 We spent the day out of town with friends and I hardly had any water.
11/01 131.5 Busy day. Read to page 26 before I had to take friends to the airport then in and out all day.
11/02 131.0 I guess busy is good. Over calories and macros yesterday but down 0.5#. Worked legs yesterday and love that my inner thighs hurt today!8 -

No more upwards fluctuations due to bad eating. I want a steady decline this time. I can't just dance around this number. I did that ten pounds ago and I hated it.
Day/Weight/Comment
10/25- 184.7- Glad it didn't go up honestly. I did maintenance calories yesterday.
10/26-184.8- Last exam today. Going to be able to focus on weight-loss better these next two weeks. Kinda excited.
10/27- 184.7
10/28- No weigh in.
10/29- 183.7- Let's keep this going. Have been here before. I want to see 182.something. Happy about this though. But I just definitely need to make myself keep going.
10/30- 184.0- I did well yesterday. The thing is I didn't have time this morning and ate breakfast before remembering to weigh myself so this isn't necessarily accurate. Will eat well tonight too so that I get results tomorrow. Really on my grind this time. Going to get to 180 soon. Determined.
10/31- 183.0- Happy Halloween everyone! First time seeing this number. Really want to see 182.something. Maybe tomorrow? I'm going to eat low sodium and nothing heavy so I don't randomly pack on water weight.
11/1- 183.0- had a bit of candy today lol. hopefully it doesn't affect anything tomorrow?
11/2- 182.0- really happy about this. Ony limiting myself to one piece of candy maximum. Not going to get to 180 by tomorrow obviously but I will soon. Certainly by the end of the next challenge I think. I'm very excited!! Not going to ruin the progress. Going to push until I get there. It feels so close yet so far lol.

This is my fourth round. I think the best part of this challenge is that in recording the weight every day with a comment, I talk myself down from the hype that comes with weighing myself every day. Sometimes, anyway. I have to say I still got frustrated with just 0.5 loss last challenge in 10 days. But still, noting that I lost 4 lbs last challenge, I did sort of maintain perspective! Slow and steady wins the race! We can do this!!

10/25 171.5 -- This is so frustrating. Yesterday walked for an hour, hour strength class at YMCA, hour of zumba. Finished day with 1000+ calorie deficit. Weighed in a pound heavier. Everyday I'm hoping for the big whoosh....and instead it's up 1 or 2 lbs and then down 1/2. Oh well. I feel good. I'm not starving. My pants fit.
10/26 168.5 -- I think this might be the real whoosh....although yesterday a couple hours after eating bacon and fathead pizza for lunch I got queasy and just couldn't fathom dinner, so was well under calories. 15000 steps yesterday including a walk and zumba. Also did water aerobics. Hoping this number sticks.
10/27 168 -- So excited to be in a new decade that I forgot to post it yesterday! Queasiness was gone yesterday. Hour walk and water aerobics. Went out to Chinese restaurant for late lunch. Skipped the rice and had spicy chicken and veggie stir fry and pea greens. Then...just cheese sticks and peanuts for dinner because I went with my son (who plays in band) to the football game.
10/28 168.5 -- I'm pleased with this. Got up yesterday, went to zumba, did a moderately fast walk for an hour to collect extra calories. Big egg scramble for lunch and then went to a costume cocktail party with my husband and stuck to the pulled pork & chicken, no bun, and brie and assorted dips on veggies. My husband and I then shared 3 mini cupcake sized desserts. Enjoyed two glasses of red wine. Seems like my choices worked ok!
10/29 168 -- Ate within calories, including guestimate of snacks at Costco. Took a long walk. 12000+ steps.
10/30 169 -- Here we go again. Assuming it's going to bounce up and down before dropping again. Took a hike instead of zumba and a walk. Only burned 250 calories and then went out to lunch. Had to make up for it with the elliptical later. Ended the day with 500 calories surplus, beyond MFP allotment.
10/31 168.5 50 minute walk before the dentist. 500 calorie surplus. 12,000 steps. Trying not to get too excited, as I'm probably going to bounce around!
11/1 168.5 Power walk, strength class and zumba. 21000 steps. I had a huge calorie deficit, (even after two glasses of wine and 1 1/2 funsize chocolates). Glad this number is sticking. It may go down. I felt low on salt yesterday and had broth after 9....which probably did not help the weigh-in!
11/2 167.5 Zumba and yoga. Big deficit. Was planning to have two bowls of soup, but after we reheated the soup, my son tripped on the way to the table throwing the soup all over the floor. Luckily the leftovers hadn't all fit in one tupperware, so there was a little more in the fridge. So we each had one bowl of soup, and I got a larger deficit!

I derailed myself last year undoing a lot of good work. After a long absence from myfitnesspal I am back on track. This 10 day challenge seems like something I can do. I am joining in with Round 57.
Age 59
Height 5ft 10 1/2"
Pre-challenge SW 313 lbs (started back at myfitnesspal Oct 1st. Down 15 lbs in the 3 weeks prior to this challenge).
SW for the challenge 298 lbs (I have a photo to prove it, I'll take a new one at the start of every week).
GW sometime in early 2020 195 lbs (several beautiful Italian double-breasted suits await me).
Round 57
10/25 298 lbs
10/26 297.5 lbs
10/27 297.5 lbs
10/28 297 lbs
10/29 296 lbs
10/30 295 lbs
10/31 294.5 lbs
11/01 294 lbs My cousin came over yesterday to sit with me while I manned the Halloween candy giveaway. He brought some Ruffino Prosecco with him. I had a couple of glasses, and very good it was too, but that has to stop. Other than candy / doughnuts, nothing undoes the good work faster than booze. So we talked about my need to not have him enabling my counter-productive habits. He'll bring Pelligrino mineral water next visit. I expect the Prosecco will show up on the scales on Nov 2nd.
11/02 294 lbs I expected to be up but I'll take no change when set against the sparkly wine I drank Wednesday night with my cousin. I'll be really vigilant WRT unneeded carbs today!
Down 4 lbs so far this 10 day challenge.
Down 4 lbs so far on challenges (I plan on doing more of them).
Down 19 lbs total since I came back to myfitnesspal.

^^^ That is a good point. A daily weigh-in and report helps me at several levels.3 -

10/30 Tuesday- 195.6 Fall break sent me into a spiral of bad decisions and I have been off the wagon for almost a month now. I gained 3.6lbs and I feel awful and bloated and need to get back on track. I really liked the accountability I had to myself when I participated in my first two rounds so I am back and ready to jump in. No waiting to round 58!
10/31 Halloween I forgot to weigh this morning. It is a habit that I need to get back into along with checking my blood pressure. I stayed within calories yesterday but low on the water (another habit that needs improvement). My goal today is to stay withing my calorie range, drink 80oz and not binge on candy. I think I will walk the kids and let my hubby sit home and hand out candy. Although, I may have to fight him for that.
11/1 Thursday- 194.1. Must be water weight. I handed out the candy last night and only ate a couple of kit kats, so I will call that a win. So far, so good today. Plan on going to the gym for the first time in a month tonight during my daughter's ballet class. It feels good getting back into the swing of thing
11/2 Friday- 193.3 Getting close to my weight when I went off the rails. Made it to the gym last night and I am feeling so much better. So glad to be back on track.

Back for Round 57 (my 2nd round). Thanks again @Grandmajackie! I owe my -4 lbs to you!!
Keeping the same "Rules" of my game plan...log EVERYTHING!, no eating 7p-7a, no eating while packing lunches...exercise everyday (no matter what!) and try to breathe!

Day/Weight/Comment
10/25 - Day 1 = 147.2 (corrected from 148 got on the scale at noon after gym!) - And we're off! Good luck everyone. You can do it!
10/26 - Day 2 = 146.6 Having 2 girlfriends over after work. A little scared but have promised myself to stick to the "Rules" and only 1 glass (4oz) of wine OR NONE (not likely). We are ordering sushi for dinner so should be fine from the food aspect. Just that darn wine and hot tub. Wish me luck! Maybe they'll cancel on me! haha, no no. Sat/Sun plan --- I'm going to hit the gym both Sat and Sun (I usually just walk the dog/chase the 'littles' around)! Everyone stay strong this weekend and enjoy your adventures ahead...remember...you got this, eyes on the prize!! --> Friday nite turned out to be 3 glasses of wine and one friend! ha.. also had 3 servings of lime chips but still came in fine for the day, that goodness for the gym at work!!
10/27 - Day 3 - Today I didn't make it to the gym so kept my eating in check. Fun Trunk or Treat at my friends farm. Rainy & cold but kids don't care! 1 mini heath bar (my fav) which my son had to trade for...so love that guy!
10/28 - Day 4 - Surprise invite to dinner out which I rarely do since I am usually sick after. This was no exception but the food (Mexican) tasted good: 1 sm. grilled shrimp taco (corn tortilla) and side of rice/beans. Hit the gym so cals in check, and "Rules" adhered to! Wooo!
10/29 - Day 5..ugh stomach is not good. NTS: Next time just have water, who cares what your inlaws think! I always pay for it when I eat out except at Sushi restaurants (hard to get cross contam. from wheat there!). Hopefully will feel 100% tomorrow. Hitting the gym & scale at lunch. I'm not sure what to expect! EEEK! 148.8 : ( Not thrilled but I think I know why I am up 2 lbs... still played it safe and added 40 min at nite on the elip so 80 min today!
10/30 - Day 6 = 148.8 (still) but I will not be discouraged. Stomach is still on the mend. I really liked the 40 min extra elip time last nite (love my Anytime Gym!), might try and squeeze it in again tonite. Hopefully by the end of the week, I'll see a loss. Hope everyone is doing good!! Tomorrow is Trick-or-Treat! BOOOooooooo!
10/31 - Day 7 = ? Made it thru trick-or-treat virtually unscathed! I hope the 4 mini heaths I had didn't totally wreck me. I stuck to the rules except no gym, altho lots of walking at t-o-t. Wish me luck tomorrow on the scale!
11/01 - Day 8 = 148.6. Can't believe there are only 3 days left in this leg. These 10 days have flown. Upping my water to see if that helps drop me back to my Day 1 wt. Reading back I did have 4 'not so great' days out of the 7!!
11/02 - Day 9 = somewhere between 143 and 147.5 maybe??. Lesson of the day: gym scale is on the fritz. Since I know I didn't magically drop 5.6lbs last nite, I'll settle for 147.5 (most realistic). I got it (147.5) from an old school scale I found on campus but have no idea if it's accurate/calibrated etc. I guess I have to invest in a decent scale for home. Had a good eating/exercising day yesterday and today. The weekend's always the hardest for me. The plan is to stick to "the rules" and hit the gym.
Happy weekend to everyone! Be kind to each other and stay safe!

Day/Weight/Comment
10/25 = 143.5 (up 2.5 lbs from yesterday) Hate to start a new round with a "gain" but this was expected and just a little blip up from my party last night. We had such a good turnout with a great group of ladies, super fun but way too many nibbly foods and cocktails. This should drop right back down in the next couple of days. The last round I was way off track with getting my workouts in & logging, but I practiced intuitive eating and was able to eek out a small loss. Getting out of these 140's is hard but I also have not been truly committed since I sprained my ankle. But all healed and ready to be back at it, giving it 100%. "If you have made mistakes, there is always another chance for you. You may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing we call 'failure' is not the falling down, but the staying down."

10/27 Did not weigh-in
10/28 Did not weigh-in
10/29 =143.4 (down .01 lbs, still up 2.4 lbs) I was out of the loop over the weekend. My daughter was sick all last week with a fever, cough, chills, and just very weak. She missed almost the entire week of school. We went to the doctor and had a chest x-ray done as there are 5 confirmed diagnosed cases of pneumonia at her school currently, but thankfully hers was all clear. She is back at school today, so I can focus a little bit on me now. My husband has asthma, so he is always so susceptible to anything respiratory illness related, so now he has bronchitis and an ear infection - ugh! Fingers crossed everyone is recovered by Halloween! Yesterday, I finally got back to my 90 day challenge and completed the day 73 yoga, felt super good! So far today, I am back on track with logging after taking a bit of time off from that, have the day 74 workout scheduled and hope to get in my 1st run since spraining my ankle on 9/27. I've also got to go to the store to get a treat for our cat, it's National Cat day, so will pick up the ingredients for the @tiabirdie56 bloat relief water. Have a great day everyone!
10/30 = 143.3 (down .01 lbs, still up 2.3 lbs) Ended up super busy day and got neither workout nor run in, logged about half of my day, still not on track with my nutrition.
10/31 = 142.3 (down 1.0 lbs from yesterday, still up 1.3 lbs) Yesterday was a beautiful fall day in New England, in the mid 40's with a bit of a chill, my favorite running weather! I went out mid-day and got in my 1st post sprained ankle run, so happy to be a runner again Only did a little over a mile & half just to see how everything felt. My ankle was fine but felt a little twingy in my opposite knee during the run and immediately after, but all fine now. Just one of those weird mystery pains. I also got in day 75 of 90 which was 45 secs of each x 3 rounds of Wide Plie Squat with Hop, Push Up Jacks, Curtsy Lunge to Outside Knee Lift, Side Plank with Hip Drop and Knee Pull In, Triceps Dips with 3 Kicks and Dips, Jump to Side Lunge and Touch, & Single Leg Elevated Bridge Pullover w/ Weight. Feeling this workout today in my quads & booty. Excited for Halloween tonight, my daughter's middle school lets them wear costumes all day and then has a costume contest during each of the lunch periods. She is dressed as a "baby", has on a pink onesie, polka dot bib, hair in double ponies with big pink bows,& has an oversized pacifier, rattle, & bottle. For trick or treating tonight, she is going spooky as the urban legend "Bloody Mary". I'm pretty excited about my ghost costume, there is a hoop skirt involved, and a super dramatic tulle hooded cape. Our town is such a great Halloween town, wishing everyone a fun and safe evening if you are celebrating out and about tonight!
11/01 = 149.3 (up 7.0 lbs from yesterday) So, I know I did not gain 7 lbs overnight, but wow! that's a harsh number to see this morning. I normally weigh-in 1st thing in the morning, but this weigh-in was about an hour after getting up and having a cup of tea and a glass of water, so hopefully that contributed to this crazy number! But part of this is from that fact that I did overindulge yesterday with: a little Halloween candy (1 full sized Snickers bar & a 3 fun sized Laffy Taffy's), a couple of glasses of red wine, and we ordered late night pizza when we got back from Trick or Treating. I practice IF 16:8, so I normally do not eat after 6:30/7:00 but this pizza was at 10:00 p.m. + gluten & dairy which I usually limit. So lot's of contributing factor to this uptick on the scale. But today is a new day & it is a new month, so back on track. But I have no regret & will not beat myself up over this, if you can't enjoy a fun holiday like Halloween, this just won't be sustainable in the long run. Yesterday was a rest day in my 90 day challenge but I did get out and get a short run in...the good news, still pain free & my pace is right on track, so the month off due to injury didn't have me lose any of my running fitness
11/02 = 146.4 (down 2.9 lbs from yesterday, still up 5.4 lbs) So some of the scale uptick coming down. But no way all of this is coming off by tomorrow. This will be my 1st round of the 14 I've completed where I will not post a loss. It is what it is. At least I am finishing the round back on track with my logging and making good choices. Unfortunately I've now caught the sick bug that both my daughter and husband have had and feel horrible, not able to work out yesterday or today. I'm taking (& logging) my cold medicine and hoping to feel better tomorrow.

Round 56 SW: 194.6 EW: 195.9 (+1.3lbs)
Other goals: 10,000 steps at least 4 days a week. Strength training 2 times a week. Run 3 times a week. Continue Yoga with Adriene's 30 days of yoga challenge. Eat at a deficit.
Day/Weight/Comment
10/25: 195.7 (17,646 steps). Almost 13k steps at the time of writing this. Will go on a run after dinner. Did an amazing upper body workout. Day 5 of 30 days of yoga. Food isn’t so great today, though i will be under if I count my exercise calories.
10/26: 194.7! (9,455) Feels nice, aside from my right pec and glute being sore. Will have to take an epsom salt bath sometime today. I also had a hell of a time falling asleep. My upper spine really hurt. Hoping to make better food choices today and continue to see a downward trend. I will add steps the next day.
10/27 194.3! Today is homework and studying for my kinesiology midterm on Monday. Will try to get my steps in, but it might be hard.
10/28 194.3. Nice. Another study/homework day, but I’m determined to get all of my steps in today.
10/29 194.3. Midterms. Got 83%.
10/30 194.3. Tried the witches’ brew frappuccino, not strong enough of a flavour, but still nice. I also found the only store in my town that sells passion tango tea (the superstore in the health food aisle) so now I can drink it! I have another midterm on the 7th, and I’m getting stressed lol.
10/31 194.3.Happy Halloween! At least I can say I’ve lost 1.6lbs this challenge lol. Will try to do a lower body workout and get back on track with the 30 days of yoga (Day 6)
11/01 192.8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Halloween went great, only ate two pieces (one chocolate, one cherry peel and pull!) Didn’t do either of the workouts I said I would do, but that’s okay. I did tabata this morning, and my sister has decided to sabotage me by baking SIX DOZEN chocolate chip cookies. I will try to eat those in moderation, but cookies are my weakness.
11/02 192.8 Nice. Part of this is DOMS, for sure. The other part is lady issues lol. Had quite a large deficit left at the end of the day (I didn’t starve myself, just walked a lot and did tabata)

If I work hard now, I will leave the “Obese” BMI soon, so I am pushing for consistency, I want to see a more consistent downward trend this round. I am hoping for good things this month!
This is a long term thing, a few bad days or weeks is something I'm getting better at coping with.

Day/Weight/Comment
10/30 - 244.5lb - well that was quick 😅 in fairness I had been holding water weight for most of last week and despite creating ample caloric deficit wasn’t seeing the scales budge so this loss is overdue. It surely helped that yesterday I managed over my 10,000 step goal, and was really on point with my diet. Today I will be trying to watch the sodium in what I’m eating,my body seems really susceptible to the “whoosh” effect and so I’m trying to find a way to help with the water retention.
10/31 - 245lb - I’ll take that, I normally lose a few lbs one day, gain a bit of water back, hold onto it for a few days and then will drop another few pounds. I was logging yesterday and creating a deficit so just having complete faith in science. Feeling motivated for today and in control, tonight is leftovers from last night so I know exactly how many calories. Going to try and do some decent activity today as yesterday was pretty relaxed.
11/01 - 244.2 - that’s a new low (only slightly) but it’s fine by me 😅 had a low calorie day yesterday with a decent amount of steps. Today will again be watching my sodium and aiming to stay within my calorie goals.
11/02 - 244.5 - up slightly on the scales this morning however my body fat is still showing decreased and water percentage is up so it’s clear I’m retaining a bit of water which doesn’t surprise me as I was not very good on the sodium front yesterday 😬. Today is a low cal day so hoping to see that drop off for tomorrow’s weigh in, going for a walk with my sister this morning so hoping to smash those steps and hopefully end on a good note tomorrow 💪🏻
11/03 - 244.5 - not ending on my lowest but I’ll take it, still met my target and then some.
