11/04 - 71kg kg No plan the last few days, so this isn't suprising. Actually, reading back, I overindulged most days in the last round.
I have no real plan for this round as I'll be traveling and settling in. I will buy food&body scales, find a gym, running routes and a routine for lunches etc in this round. It is frustrating that just 10 days have undone the last few weeks, but I will not let that discourage me.
11/05 - 71kg Finished my 5-10k programme - about 1.5 months later than originally planned, but it's done now. Will start a new programme this week, once I determined when and where I can run.
No logging today or tomorrow due to travel.
11/06 - kg No scales Travel day
11/07 - kg No scales First day in new job
11/08 - kg No scales
11/09 - kg No scales
11/10 - kg No scales
11/11 - kg No scales - Alright, so i've now caught up on the whole week. I've not logged or weighed myself since Monday. My first days in my new home and job have been great. But food, exercise and logging are challenging. Things are labelled in KJ, there is a lot of non-labelled food, many things are quite unhealthy with hydrogenated fat and added sugars. I have neither a food or body scale yet or a full body mirror, but will hopefully get at least the body scales next week.
I will start logging again tomorrow, there will be a lot of estimations until I have a food scale, but even if the calories aren't correct, logging will stop me from snacking so much. Drinking enough water isn't an issue as I'm constantly thirsty - i've already finished a 10l canister at home.
I have devised an exercise plan I can do at home, but have yet to buy a yoga mat for floor exercise I'd like to add. I tried to run on Fri and had to stop after 1km as it was too hot and breathing was hard due to heat (around 30C and no breeze) and altitude, i went from pretty much sea level to 1300m/4250ft. I also fought a cold until Fri, mainly from the flight, so I will try again this week in the morning. I plan to get into a routine with early morning exercise and running from next week.
I don't move nearly as much as in London and get stared at for walking to the office. It is hard not to keep myself busy with snacking, so i'm quite worried about gaining and feel like i already have. It's dark by 7pm so everything happens before then and the evenings are spent at home. Obviously, this will change once I meet more people to hang out with, find a gym and start driving.
Today i'm not doing anything, already walked to the shops to buy water and something to cook, had some pasta for an early lunch and will have left overs for dinner. I went out last night with a work colleague and met loads of nice people, but it became quite boozy, so also no exercise today. Would love to go for a walk, but it's so dusty and hot, no breeze or shade, so i'll give that a miss.
11/12 - kg No scales Did my exercise routine this morning, logged breakfast, lunch and a few snacks/fruit. Le'ts see if this will get me through the day. Quite bit of guess work, but hopefully I overestimated. Not sure what dinner will be, depends on if I'll have a car - the fleet manager wants me to go for a drive with him to assess my driving skills
11/13 - kg No scales I'm a bit late posting. Yesterday was ok, however I got very hungry in the afternoon and then had chocolate in the eve, which put me slightly over. However, I didn't add any exercise calories. This morning, I was gonna run but then finally got comfortable and not too hot, so i decided to stay in bed for another hour. I logged my breakfast and lunch, but would really love a scale for my oatmeal and know how many calories are in the granary bread. It's very thin and light and does not fill me up very well, so i just chose one from the database that's on the lower side. I think i will switch to eating my breakfast in the office, the way I did in London, as I'm hungry as soon as I sit here, even if I've eaten an hour earlier.
Tonight, I'll be going for dinner with the new people and will see if i can make good food choices, wherever we go.
I also passed my driving assessment, which means I'll be able to get a car and check out a gym this week.
See you next round, i'll be on top of things with reading your updates properly also, which I've missed, and hopefully i'll go for that dreaded run in the morning.8 -

11/5: 166.6 I last did this group about 1 year ago for many rounds. I stopped counting/exercising and maintained weight okay for most of the summer then BAM I have gone off the rails! Back up in weight and struggling with motivation. Hoping jumping back into this daily check in will help! Starting off as round 1 since it's been so long.
11/6: 165.4 Fighting a cold. Ate Halloween candy yesterday. I always want chocolate when I am sick. Weird. Other than that ate healthy and went to be super early!
11/7: 165.6 So stuffed up but I'm going for a walk outside this morning. I've got to start exercising and get this immune system back to fighting order! Pretty random eating yesterday but nothing too crazy.
11/8: 164.4
11/9: 164.4 Yesterday was another miserable sick day but I powered through. Hoping I've turned the corner this AM. Going to a pot luck event tonight after a super busy, stressful week and no time to eat before I go. I already feel myself caving to the Mac n cheese!

11/13: 165.4 Well I sort of botched the weekend. My cold turned into a sinus infection so I was pretty miserable. Ate poorly. Feeling better now and ready for the next 19 days!10 -

I don't have high expectations for November - this is usually when I say to heck with it and start gaining it all back, so if I can maintain that would be a big improvement. ( btw, according to my son, heck is where you get danged to if you don't believe in Gosh)
11/4 175.8
11/5 176.6 pizza and cake for my older son's b'day
11/6 175.6 took the afternoon off work to go to the passport office - got through in less than an hour! so had time for an extra long walk 6.3 miles and still had time to go to Michael's from Xmas craft supplies.
11/7 175.6
11/8 176 - very late getting in here today. Expected more of a bump than that as I did not track or exercise yesterday, I knew it was going to be a busy day so I bought a frozen meal - it was very disappointing - bland and not at all filling - I felt cheated and ended up "compensating" with junk. Back on track today.
11/9 175.8
11/10 175.6
11/11 175 finally the sun is shining!
11/12 173.4 I am not sure I believe this, but the scale was very insistent!
11/13 173.4 OK so now I believe it. That gives me a loss of 2.4 for this round, 26 since I joined the challenge and 56 from historical high. I am happy that my November strategy is keeping me on track, so the plan is to keep with the program, use the therapy light, get up and out of the house every day and keep on tracking and checking in here with you lovely people.10 -

11/4 - 183.4 - up .4 but that’s not bad after a lovely date night dinner. It was worth it! Off to the gym!
11/5 - 182.4 - nice way to start the week!
11/6 - 184.2 - not sure what happened - we did eat dinner close to 9 so I'm guessing it was that. Already got the workout in and ready for election day! Get out and VOTE!
11/7 - 183.4 - going in the right direction
11/8 - 184.2 - these late dinners are killing me! I eat lunch at noon and we didn't eat until 8:15 - needless to say - the snacking between 4 and 7 does me in!
11/9 - 182.4 - back down again!
11/10- 182.4 - I’ll take it!
11/11 - 182.4 - woo hoo - holding steady over the weekend!
11/12 - 183.8 - weekend finally caught up!
11/13 - 183.6 - not a loss this round but late dinners on Monday night (we don't eat until 9 due to my son's schedule) and over on sodium didn't help. On to the next round for a loss (or maintenance if it's Thanksgiving!).9 -

11/04 147.4 Have a great round everyone!
11/05 WEIGH IN DAY 146.8 Amazing! Super stoked to be back on the downward trend!
11/06 148 Oops. Over by 1000 calories yesterday. Had a mini melt-down when I did a head count for our Thanksgiving dinner that we are hosting and came up with 50 adults. Today is a new day, making the triple threat cuke-pars-lemon water and will get rid of this bloat and headache. Just another lesson being human, not perfect, just me. "@tlgale we've all been there , just remember when you do go off the rails, a lot of the pounds you see on the scale are water retention from increased carbs/sodium. To gain a pound of fat you need to eat 3500 calories over maintenance, not just over your MFP calorie goal. One or two bad days of eating doesn't make you fat, one or two good days of eating doesn't make you thin, it's what you do most of the time that matters."
11/07 146.6 Pizza bloat is gone, whew! We order pizza about once a month when I don't feel like cooking, and it definitely does not make my body feel good.
11/08 145.8 Good day yesterday, walked, hydrated, ate to make my body feel good. Got to cut back on the protein bars though, they are back in my life again and though they fit in my day they are still processed foods. Bad news is I ordered a bulk pack and so here they sit...Can I admit I am so happy to be back on the downhill? Not really sure why I stalled there for a month and a half at 149. I think I had a belief in my head that a lower weight was too hard to maintain, but looking back, I didn't know what I know now about macros and CI/CO, that's why it was so hard. I had lost previously on weight watchers, plus I was a distance runner, not eating any exercise "points" and carb heavy/vegetarian. No wonder I was starving all the time!
11/09 145.6 Wow really great losses this round! I guess I was ready! Now I need to start doing some more intentional exercise, specifically get the glutes activated! Fires in the area have the air quality awful again, so inside work only.
11/10 147.6 Deserve this after a late night grilled cheese and some cake, but it was worth it! I'll post photos later of the cake I made for my nephew's birthday, it turned out super cute, but I had to eat some of the "waste" since it was chocolate and whipped cream with crushed oreos, my personal cryptonite! Oreos are forbidden usually in my house due to my weakness for them, but I was the instigator this time. We are not walking the hill due to super smokey air here in California, so sad to see all this fire again! NSV- lost some inches with this last little weight drop, my sister told me I looked skinny, my husband told me not to get too skinny...love the external validations!!!
11/11 148.2 Ayi ayi ayi! Can I drop back to 145.?? by the end of the round?? Going to try my hardest! Here's a photo of the cake and my adorable nephew! He's half Polish half Spanish, adorable little imp!
11/12 WEIGH IN DAY 145.8 Crazy what the body does with ups and downs! I did stay on plan yesterday, so happy to see immediate results!
11/13 146.2 Ate well and below goal yesterday, but under hydrated so not concerned about this small up. I would call this round a super success! Great job everyone, lets keep the momentum going next round, especially with the US holiday coming up!

Day/Weight/Comment
11/04: 67.5 - More than expected. Yesterday was a big day. My calorie intake looks ridiculous, but then I did have 4 1/2 hours on the judo mat. Was grading (got 20 points, woop!) and then squad training afterwards. And boy does my body feel it this morning. Everything hurts. And I seem to have gained a couple of interesting bruises (mostly on my shins). Hoping to keep under my burn going forward
11/05: 68.4 - Okay I wasn't expecting that. I mean I was, but not nearly that bad. Yesterday I went to a relative's birthday party, and there was plenty of food all the time (seriously, every time I turned around there were more nibbles, and I do have a problem with nibbles.) Dinner was curries (which I love to pieces), but I picked myself a small bowl and didn't overload it and I was honestly stuffed afterwards so I'm glad I went for the smaller size. Muscles still screaming this morning, so I'm hoping that's the reason for the enormous jump on the scales. I'm certainly feeling a little more puffy than usual, so I'm 90% certain everything is retaining water right now. Ended up slightly over maintenance calories which is annoying as so far this week I would have been in deficit every day, however it wasn't much, even with some fairly generous dinner allowance calories, so I'm still reasonably pleased with the whole situation.
11/06: 66.8 - And there it all goes. YaY! Yesterday was a mixed bag, I spend most of the day so very hungry. Mostly because I just didn't eat enough food in the morning, and then my lunch was laughably small, so I had to eat some chocolate to bump up the calories and kept myself distracted when I got home so I wouldn't want to eat all the food before dinner. Ended up keeping myself under my calorie goal, and then I went and judo-ed in the evening, something I didn't eat back any of the calories for, so my deficit for yesterday was pretty good. However, I'm not hopeful for a great day today as I look to my right and see that somebody in my office made cake and sausage roll. I'm already doing my best to not stare at it. Maybe I'll just try and maintain today and eat my deficit in cake lol.
11/07: 66.9 - *deepest sigh* I ended up over yesterday. Only just, and actually it was around my normal maintaining calories, but I really wasn't feeling 100% so I didn't do as much walking throughout the day, or any exercise in the evening, so my daily burn was much lower than normal. And yes it was all because of that blasted cake and sausage roll. And the worst bit was that it was really good and 100% completely worth the calories. I just wish I hadn't had quite as many slices as I did. But I suppose that's why I wasn't that hungry last night so I guess it's swings and roundabouts. Anyway, will be doing better today, no signs of cake or snacks appearing in the office so should be able to stick to target.
11/08: 66.6 - Another really tough day yesterday. Again I was feel really hungry all day. However, stuck to my guns and stayed mostly within range so ended up with a decent deficit at the end of it all. I am pleased to see that my stubbornness is paying off and I am dropping that weigh that's been lurking around.
11/09: 66.5 - Now if my weight could just pause there until the end of the round that would be grand. Hahaha, like that's going to happen. Anyway, another good day yesterday eating-wise. Stuck under my target deficit and even banked a few extra calories by finally donning the running shoes and going for a run. I think my pup very much enjoyed the run around the neighbourhood (he loves to run), but he pushed me hard. And has yet to learn not to run right in front of my feet, so there was a couple of times I almost tripped up on him. However, I'm hoping to get out again tonight in a vague attempt to wear him out and burn those few more calories that bring my average up. That, and I really want chips for lunch, and these rarely fit into my goals, so I'll have to work something out to bring my burn up.
11/10: 66.9 - Not at all surprised by that one. I'm blaming all those chips. Being that I wanted chips, so I has some for lunch. Aaaaand then I also has pie and chips for dinner. However I did go for a run (and to go out and buy the chips) which is the longest run I've done for some time. I looped around one bit twice because I was feeling good, and had I not been hungry I might have looped around a third time. Looks like I might need to find myself a slightly longer loop. And I paced myself so much better than Thursday. Still very slow going, but I'm so happy to actually be getting out there and going for a run. Food ended up over, but with the run (and some extra walking throughout the day) I've ended up with a very nice deficit.
11/11: 66.9 - Lots of Judo then lazing around for the rest of the day. Ate very well and clocked a big deficit for the day.
11/12: 66.9 - Fairly lazy. Took the dog out for a longish walk. Still need to work on his recall. Ate quite a lot for the day, but still ended up under overall. Had fajitas for dinner, a surprisingly low calorie meal although we did have the large wraps as opposed to the mini wraps I normally use, so was a bit larger than normal. However I didn't think much of the spice mix that I bought, so I don't think I'll be using that brand again. I feel like I'm retaining fluid, so I'm hoping that I'll get the drop for tomorrow's weight in to reach my target. Finger crossed
11/13: 67.5 - Ooops. All I needed to do was not stuff my face and I probably would've ended up negative for the round. And then we had Chinese takeaway and aaaaagh the weigh fluctuation is real. Anyway, 99% I'm coming down with a nasty cold so feeling right miserable right now. And exhausted. And wanting to eat all of the food. As I'm not feeling well I'm giving myself a little bit of a break and aiming to eat at maintenance for the rest of this week (or until I feel better) but it's definitely playing havoc with my weight fluctuations...
Round summary:
Generally happy with the round overall. My weight have actually gone up, from beginning to end, but that's only fluctuations, so it really isn't anything to worry about. My general calorie intake vs burn has been good so I'm happy, even without the scale change I know I've been at a deficit.9 -

11/4 - 177 - I think I'm back to 176.6. I'm going to visit my littles today, so I got up early to make them some macaroni and cheese. I started drinking my coffee before I realized that I hadn't weighed yet.
11/5 - 175.2 - Ooookay. I did eat macaroni and cheese and a salad with a burger my son cooked. Then a treat size bag of pretzels 😏 and a mini twix that my Grandson gave me from his Halloween pumpkin. He got SO excited telling me about trick or treating. He's two, so you can imagine.
11/6 - 177.4 - I guess my weight will just swing wildly through the 170's. Nothing to do but be patient and wait it out.
11/7 - 177.4
11/8 -176.4 - Well, well. I said that it would be a wild ride through the 170's. I looked back to the end of September, when my weight dropped to this decade. From 179.6 to 175.2 and all weights in between, multiple times in some cases. Twenty pounds ago, I knew the 170's would hang on for a while. Back in 2003 I weighed 175lbs on my way to 150lbs, although I looked about 150, lean and strong. I was a beast with exercise back then, 2 or 3 hours daily. I would love to be that strong again. Too many injuries.
11/9 - 175.4 - Went to bed at 5am. If not for me helping my girlfriend with a project once again, I'm sure I would have lain in bed awake all night anyway. A very soul wrenching day for me yesterday. She was who I needed to talk out my frustrations and anger with and keep my hands busy and mind distracted.
11/10 - 176.6
11/11 - 177.4 - over carbs (tomato soup & pretzels😏) and a hastily made late night keto hot chocolate.
11/12 - 177.4 - A world weary weekend for me and my family. For me, excesses of anger, stress, frustration, worry, crying. A night of fitful sleep, crying and prayer. Upon rising, prayers answered, in part, enough to relieve the worry I woke up with.
11/13 - 178.4 - Late evening eating pretzels. Chewing out the remainder of this stress event in my life.

11/04 - 190.6 - Water weight has been killing me the last week or so. Too much sodium. Will make a better effort to be more strict and accountable these next 10 days.
11/05 - 188.6 - Made really good food choices yesterday. Played and walked 18 holes of golf and bowled my Sunday night bowling league. Ended up over 16,000 steps on the day. Will try to make more good choices today and see if the water weight will continue to come off.
11/06 - 188.2 - Continuing the trend the right way. Over 10,000 steps. Had to abbreviate my lift yesterday because I got OKC Thunder tickets for last night's game. A little over on calories compared to my goal, but still comfortably in deficit. Will try to finish my lift today and get my cardio in as well.
11/07 - 185.6 - Boom! Thats what I'm talking about! Had a really good food consumption day and played 2 hours of full court basketball (burned over 1100 calories) and then went and finished my lift from Monday. Going to try to continue making good food choices (have a working lunch at work today with food provided so we will se how that goes). Onward and downward!
11/08 - 186.0 - Had a solid day. Got just over 10,000 steps and a nice lift in (Deadlifts, Lat Pull-Downs, Overhead Press, Bicep Curls and Pec Flys). Ate at a good deficit, even with 4 pieces of pizza at the working lunch. Sodium was a little higher than I like (about 4800 mg). Long distance cardio today and abs (my least favorite workout), but I will try to push through it and have a good eating day.
11/09 - 186.0 - Had a big meal for dinner last night (Mexican), but planned for it with a lighter lunch and breakfast, so I stayed within my calories. Ran 5 miles in 46:09 after dinner for my cardio workout for the day. Hoping to do well today with food as I have another work luncheon. Lifting day today (Squat, Bench, etc.).
11/10 - 188.6 - Terrible day. Had a 3 hour work meeting surrounded by my nemesis, Mexican food and sweets. 1st plate, I made good choices. It was plates 2-5 that were the problem 😔. No discipline whatsoever. Over 3000 calories for those 3 hours. Weighed when I got home and was 8.6 lbs heavier than when I left in the morning. So pissed at myself. But, I picked myself back up, stopped feeling sorry for myself and went and got my lifting workout in last night. Water weight will probably stick with me for a few days, but I'm gonna redouble my efforts instead of derailing my progress by having a pity party. Something for those of you that are just starting out or are not as far along as I have gotten yet, 1 bad meal or day doesn't define you and won't keep you from reaching your goal. Don't catastrophize a bad day. Keep moving forward! Any weight gain you see is temporary, unless you treat it like the world is now over because you were human and fall into a prolonged cycle of bad choices. Just get back on track and all will be well!
11/11 - 186.6 - Got back on track. Did a good job on calories and played almost 2 hours of full court basketball last night (burnt over 1100 calories). Still retaining a bit of water, but that's to be expected. Hoping to see continued progress over the last 2 days of the challenge.
11/12 - 187.4 - Did good on calories and made pretty good food choices. Went bowling. Rest day, so no formal workout. Have a long day at work today and it is snowing here, but will still try to go get workout in tonight.
11/13 - 187.4 - Long day at work. Did really good on calories and macros. Planned on going to lift after dinner, but I fell asleep and didn't wake up until 3:30 this morning. Got dressed, braved the 8 degree wind chill and drove to the gym and got my lift in before having to get ready for work this morning. Looking forward to the next 10 days!
Round 58: -1.8 Lbs.

I spend five hours yesterday at the dog show (BIG 5-day show here each Nov.) and walked miles. I used to show my dogs, and it was great to see lots of people I haven't seen since we moved away 9 years ago, and to smooch with lots of dogs. I got a thorough going over from Lily when I got home!
11/05 - 134.4 - 1236 - 10-day ave 1223
Bouncy bouncy - maybe partly due to weighing in 2 hours earlier than usual. I'm using the shift back to standard time to get myself out of bed earlier - we'll see if it sticks. I planted 100 bulbs yesterday, just in time for the rain.

I'm so glad I get to add back tomatoes next week - it's turned cold and I'm hungry for chili & spaghetti (not together ).
11/08 - 133.2 - 1665 - 10-day ave 1293
Very sad day yesterday as we said farewell to our lovely Labby girl, Lily. In her younger days she was my competition partner (earned advanced titles in obedience, rally, tracking) and volunteer therapy work with children in schools and the library. She was my husband's walking partner, a calendar girl, my cuddler, and a stand-up lie-down comedian, often upstaging me at book signings. She was healthy until 2 weeks ago - lymphoma is a monster. So I ate a bunch of extra calories (nuts & fruit) and thought my weight would be up this morning, but got a surprise. Maybe Lily ran it off for me. I know she's running now at the Rainbow Bridge with all the other dogs & cats & horses of my life.
11/09 - 133.6 - 1439 - 10-day ave 1315
Snow! Not much, but our first snow of the season. Makes me want nice hot soups and chili and stuff I can't have yet on this elimination/add back program. Soon! Have a good weekend, all.
11/10 - 133.6 - 1365 - 10-day ave 1316
Brrr - it's cold here today, but I'm planning to bundle up and go for a walk by the river anyway. I need to stop wimping out (though I'm still adjusting to northern Indiana after 8 years on the southern NC coast!). Or maybe I'll write, knit, paint, read, nap instead.
11/11 - 133.6 - 1364 - 10-day ave 1336
Acc. to MFP, my maintenance calories pre-exercise are ~1400, and acc. to SailRabbit, 1337, so somewhere in that range seems about right, and seems to click with what's happening this week (I haven't been exercising, and my stress level is high). Nice to know the calculators are fairly reliable. I've promised myself that I will get back to the exercise program this week.
11/12 - 134 - 1410 - 10-day ave 1361
This tiny uptick makes sense, and I've been treating this round as a sort of mini metabolism reset, raising my calories to around my maintenance level for 134 lb. Next round I plan to cut back, even with Thanksgiving thrown in there. Wanna lose those last 4 silly pounds between now and my BD in December.
11/13 - 133.6 - 1356 - 10-day ave 1372
Okie dokie, down a little again this round even at higher cals. Onward! I'm determined not to gain next round, despite TG yummies! See you at R59(!!!!).

11/04 - Sunday - 179.6 - NSV on Saturday - went to moms to clean and help her unpack. She wanted to order from the pizza place (she has healthy habits so tends to use me as an excuse to "celebrate") but I said no thanks and had tuna and a salad! Then on Sunday - daylight savings morning was slow, lazy, and snuggly and I loved it. Went out running errands in the afternoon. Started a pot roast and headed out to clean up the yard. DH used to leaf blower, I raked up big piles, and we moved the tarp together for about 2 hours, but about 1 hour of active raking. I didnt eat enough protein in the day so I was super snacky after dinner but I managed to reign it in.
11/05 - Monday - 179.2 - A loss on a Monday?!!!?! Look what happens when I stay accountable on the weekends! Woohoo! Need to pick up a short list of things at the store before heading home after work. Milk, coffee, and shampoo. I want to make a crustless quiche tonight for breakfasts for the week, we got some yummy ham at the farm. Fish oil habit is coming back around and I started taking elderberry extract as everyone is sick! 10 minutes of yoga is also turning into a habit! Feels good to take care of myself!
11/06 - Tuesday - 179.4 - Munchies hit me last night but I did a decent job managing with just 6 chips and a fruit leather. I filled half my plate with broccoli at dinner and tried to fill up on that because I knew I was starving but didnt want to binge on pasta - needed more protein though which was apparent when the munchies hit me at like 8:30 - all good things to learn from though. Busy at work - reminding myself that I do better is most aspects of my life with MORE STRUCTURE. That includes work, health, finances, relationships. My morning habits are becoming solid again, I made sure to hang up all laundry last night, I've got several dinners ready to go, stress management has been improving - I'm finding my rhythm again!
11/07 - Wednesday - 178.6 - Feeling great! Saw a quote, "Non attachment is self love" speaking in regards to our ever changing body. Especially as women. I'm on this journey to better health, but I'm trying to love my body at every stage. I think for me, it's a huge part of this process, to learn healthy body image and self love. I've come a long way - I'm appreciating that my body is strong, gets me through each day relatively pain free, allows me mobility to do, go, see, be whatever I want to be! And the end goal being to get pregnant, I'm really trying to wrap my mind around "non-attachment as self love" because this body of mine is going to be changing thru many seasons and I want to love and appreciate all of those stages, not just an end result.
11/08 - Thursday - 177.8 - Wooooh! Wrapping my head around these 170's is a trip! I slipped on my newer size 10 jeans this morning after their first wash and dry thinking they would be snug but they were not! I saw myself in the mirror and did a double take. I checked out my weekly stats on the app yesterday and noticed how much a difference CONSISTENCY makes for me. I'm losing consistently because my calories, macros, and habits have all been consistent for the first time since middle of August basically. It looked like I held on to my habits for dear life thru the move, but then got confused while settling in and lost touch with that idea of consisitency - my days were high cal then very low cal on repeat - like a binge and restrict on a smaller scale but definitely being mindful of that behavior so I can pick up on it quicker in the future. I'm starting to feel like a healthy person! My mini mini goal is to be 175 by thanksgiving.
11/09 - Friday - 177.8 - Ate lunch out yesterday - chose a shrimp burger and a green side salad! Skipped appetizer, skipped dessert! Still felt heavy from "lighter" dining out choices so we had raviolis for dinner instead of the planned chicken fried steak. I managed to bring breakfast and pack lunch despite wanting to do otherwise. Dog is off to daycare today and already got her toe nails trimmed. It's Friday and I'm feeling good! Want to stay on track this weekend - also want to order out tonight - haha forever searching for that balance. But thats why I packed breakfast and lunch - I know I struggle on Friday nights, and usually when I don't statisfy a Friday craving - it turns into a weekend long snack search for what I really wanted. So 80/20 rule is in full effect this weekend! Happy Friday everybody!
11/10 Saturday - 178.2 - pretty sure i have swimmers ear. Did some comfort eating because of it last night. Need to make it thru the weekend and making a doctors appointment first thing Monday. Off to pick up the wood stove today. I'll eat my smoothie before i leave, and drink water! Need to take care of myself so i dont feel worse!
11/11 - Sunday - 178.6 - successfully picked up the stove! Successfully drank 1.5 L of water. Managed my ear pain well, plan to do the same today but will definitely still go to the doc Monday as I dont want to mess around, i love my hearing. Made some yummy bbq pulled chicken, meant to have just a bowl plain but comfort ques set in again and I made a quesadilla. I also ran yesterday. I didnt want to but i had to lol but i felt really good after! Another road trip for another craigslist find today - so i need to prelog and have some forthought to my eating if its gonna be a long day away. Rambling, bye!
11/12 - Monday - 179.0 - Lots of success yesterday. Ate my smoothie - Got the hearth - cooked lunch at home despite wanting to grab something on the way home - raked the whole lawn - cooked dinner at home (also brownies but balance, right?) - made egg muffins for the week. This morning I managed to pack lunches, stick to my habits, and I'm excited for another committed week! I'm happy to see my weekend weight staying relatively static compared to the crazy swings I had going for a while!
11/13 - Tuesday - 178.0 - YAAAAAAAAAH! Feels good ending strong! DH showed me a picture of our first day on the mountain last year. I had an embarassing season, and it passed me by completely before I even realized I had wasted it! So thats when I started, end of last ski season. I said I dont want to feel that way again this year. And today, I'm buying our season passes almost 35 lbs lighter and ready to crush the mountain again!11 -

11/04 - 205.6. So happy with this number. Weekends are normally so tough for me but I really tried to treat it like a normal weekday and it has worked so far. Planning to do the same today.
11/05 - 206.8. Ate late last night plus a bunch of junky Food through the day. Lazy Sunday’s are not always good for me. Back on track today.
11/06 - 206.6. Have to drink more water today. Was so busy at work I didn’t get enough in.

11/12 - 207.6 - not sure I will recover from the weekend to post a lost for this round but I’m going to try my best. My real problem is the weekends. This my next habit I’m going to try and improve on - treating weekends like every day during the week.
11/13 - 206.2. Unfortunately I’m not posting an overall loss this round but I’m still down from when I joined this amazing challenge group. Celebrate the small things, right?

11/04 149.8 last night I binged and got in very little exercise, mostly Pokemon go hunting. I am not worried about the gain because I asked for it. I suspect tomorrow's number will be higher because today wasn't looking good either...but that's it!!! No backwards motion just forwards. This week will be better for sure!! I am going hard and putting this wash of a week behind me.
11/05 150.4 This is what happens when you go on a major binge but I expected it and I am not worried. I know what I did wrong and I know what to do to get back on track and fix it. To be honest I thought it would be more, my eating habits have been disgusting this weekend and I am definitley feeling gross. I have a busy week ahead of me and this week is another crazy exercise week so I am hoping it comes off as easy as it was to put on...even if that is not realistic, I am still holding my head high. No more jumping off the horse until Christmas...my "fun" is done.
11/06 149.2 and down we go. Ate within calories but didn't get enough exercise in or water. My head was just not into it yesterday..but today will be different!!
11/07 147.6!! whoooooosh! I am so happy!! I am 30 pounds down from when I started this!! (Although I don't think I put that start weight down on my MFP progress page, I waited a couple pounds before starting my tracking..which is sort of annoying because I did go back to fix that but it didn't register..ahh well that means i will loose 30 pounds twice 😉) who would have guessed i would be this close to my lowest weight in four short months. Once again I would like to thank everyone on this page!!! I would have never done it without all of you!! Exercised good yesterday, a little over 1 liter of water and stayed under calories
11/08 147.2 it was as if the Halloween candy I was eating last week shocked my system into a loss this week now that I am back at it. Exercised good, ate over my usual calories but it was all good food (stayed under Exercise calories though so that helps) and drank 1.3 liters of water. I am will be working out harder then I have been all week today, since I have a free schedule day so I am hoping that this does a baby jump by tomorrow. I came onto MFP four months ago on the 6th to get myself reacquainted and prepared but didn't actually start watching and exercising until the 9th...so tomorrow is actually my four month anniversary although it was posted a couple of days ago on the MFP home pages. I will be killing it today!!
11/09 146.8 Don't stop now!!! Just a little bit more!!! I hope this excellent downward trend holds out before plateauing again. I exercised good yesterday, drank 1.3 Liters of water and stayed under calories.
11/10 146.2 very nice, very nice. So happy this is still dropping. I have noticed a trend of me making my goal weight every two rounds...Going to have to keep that in mind for my goal when it comes to round 59 lol. I also took my measurment yesterday and I have lost half an inch all over!! It's slowed down a bit but I am not complaining as long as it continues this down ward trend. Completed all but one of my workouts (which is super impressive) ate under Calories and drank 1.75 liters of water. I do Shaun Ts insanity program and it's a 6 day workout with one rest day and I will be doing my 6th day (for this weeks program) today and it is actually the first time since starting the program that I did a full week. For those that don't know, doing the first couple of days isn't too bad but as the week goes on you start getting anxious and feeling less motivated because of the difficulty level...I am so happy about this NSV..first time in the whole 2 month plan..yay me!! 😃😃
11/11 no scale. I had to get up early and clean up immediatle before I went over to my uncle's house for his 60th surprise birthday party so wasn't able to weigh in
11/12 Hi my name is the sabatoger, how can I ruin your day today? 150.2 This is a short story of my day yesterday😥😥😥At my uncle's birthday last night I began eating moderately, they didn't have much healthy options so I tried to control my portions..but as the night went on, more and more food just kept coming. All different sorts of yummy dishes that made you want to try a little of everything. By the third dish, I couldn't stop...and that wasn't even the main course. 6 dishes in and an hour wait before the main course was dished out it finally arrives and it turned out to be all pasta dishes with some veggies and a Ceaser salad..,the worst of the worst of all the salads. Once dinner had finally finished my zia (which is teqnically aunt in Italian, although she is actually my grandmother's sister) brought home made biscotti, which we don't get to have often, so of course a couple of those would do. The eating frenzy and sweet loving monster in me had awoken and although I was beginning to feel my belly button, I didn't stop there...of course not YOLO. Brownies, caramel cake came after. The party had started at around 11 30 am and went on and on ...By 11 pm they broke out the late night munchies of pizza..why not a slice? I don't think any binge in my whole life has ever been as bad as yesterday. After catching up with all the posts this morning and a couple of congratulations towards myself and others in this group I was scared to come here, relive my failure and post my current weight...but I need to hold myself accountable and need this to be lesson. Although I have worked hard and have been feeling more and more confident (tons of compliments were flying my way over my weight loss) I still have not been doing this long enough to trust myself on days like yesterday and logging as I go needs to happen to prevent an out of control spiral from happening again, especially so close to the holidays. 😔😔😥😥 I deserve this, I did this to myself and I although I am not confident that I will be able to reach my goal for tomorrow, I know some of it will come off..,especially because I will be working it off today, regardless of my post eating guilt and slight depression overs how easy it was to gain. I will have to fight again!
11/13 147.2 I didn't make my goal but the weight came off almost as fast as I put it on!! Which makes me really happy. I was worried about what I would be facing this morning but thankfully I am doing something right and getting my workouts in. I don't remember that last time it didn't take me four days to get my weight back to normal, let alone within a day. I want to thank everyone who read yesterday's post and posted encouraging, motivating words. Yesterday morning I was feeling down but after reading what you wrote, it really lifted my spirits and I got my head back in the game.
Reflection: Besides the small blimp, I am very proud of this round! I worked hard, stayed under calories for the most of it and have been steadily doing better with water intake. I am hoping I can make next rounds goal but a loss is a loss and I am greatful either way. Thank you @tiabirdie56 for the water recipes and @deepwoodslady for reminding me!!

@deepwoodslady, @SheilaBoneham, @abowersgirl, Thank you❤ It is a 360° horrid situation. I am personally trying to rise above it, but it's difficult. It involves my 5 yr old Granddaughter.

@mthomas0228 Thank you for clarifying the viral/bacterial issue. It drives me nuts when doctors give antibiotics “just because!” I hope you are feeling better!
@spookymulder00 Please stay!
@tiabirdie56 Continued prayers! You’ve got this with His help! It’s extra difficult when the grands are involved! Extra prayers for her!
@deepwoodslady Donna, thank you! That picture was taken on my 1 year keto-versary in July. I’m so happy I found this WOE (again!) and am sticking with it. I really find it quite easy. Why did I ever stop???
@SheilaBoneham I’m so glad you are doing so well with your program. Congrats!

Tracking ALL I eat, calorie limit min 1500 max 1800 kCal per day.
Sport - 3 trainings per week, at least 7000 steps each day.
Take at least one photo of me per week (I really dislike my photos currently, so it might be a good additional motivation to improve the situation).
04/11: DNW
05/11: 87.8 kg (+1,2 kg) - Apparently weekend didn’t do any good to my weight, although I didn’t eat as much as it previously was during weekends. Have to be way more strict in the future.
06/11: 86.7 kg (-1.1 kg) - Status yesterday: Calories OK, BodyPump done, more than 7000 steps done
07/11: 86.1 kg (-0.6 kg) - Status yesterday: Calories so so (1900), more than 7000 steps done
08/11: 85.6 kg (-0.5 kg) - Status yesterday: Calories OK, Pilates training done, step count - only about 5200, which is for sure not enough.
09/11: 85.8 kg (+0.2 kg) - Status yesterday: Too much food (about 2300 kCal) and only 6300 steps. So, not really surprised to weight increase today. Training is scheduled for tonight.
10/11: 86.3 kg (+0.5 kg) - Status yesterday: 2x20 min cardio, 40min weight lifting and stretching afterwards. 7000 steps done. Calories were in my opinion also OK (about 1900). So I don’t really get why did I gain more weight Hope it will be better tomorrow.

What we need to succeed is a sustainable way of eating, not a DIET we go on and off.
This is NOT A DIET. It’s a LIFESTYLE.
11/4 131.0 I have not been drinking enough water the last couple of days. Cooler temps (yesterday a high of 80) make it more difficult for me to remember.
11/5 130.0 Got in almost 3 qts of water. Made a grilled cheese and bacon sandwich (on keto 90 second bread with almond flour) at 11AM and wasn’t hungry all day. Needed more protein so had a Premier Protein shake at 8PM. Meeting Amy at the gym at 2.
11/6 130.0 Didn’t get to the gym, tweaked something in my back or neck eating lunch! Now I’m wearing the C-collar again.
11/7 129.0 Yesterday I voted, got my flu shot and spent almost an hour at the gym with my friend. After our workout we stood in the parking lot planning our visits until Thanksgiving. What has happened to us? We are looking forward to our gym time?!?
11/8 130.5 Carbs and salt! I knew it was going to happen. I was mad at myself because I haven’t mastered my new HRM and it didn’t record most of my workout yesterday. We went to Golden Corral for dinner - conveniently located right next door to the gym. Early bird special. Going to breakfast this morning. Typing in the car.
11/9 130.5 Carl is asleep in the living room so I did not make my BPC. I hate open floor plans for that reason! Too much kitchen noise everywhere! My workout buddy had to cancel so my couch potato self only had 2600 steps yesterday!
11/10 131.0 Up too early! DH is “sleeping” in the living room because he can’t get comfortable anywhere.
11/11 131.0 Went to friends’ 55th anniversary dinner at a supposed to be great steakhouse. The steak (Porterhouse) was okay, the taste of mashed potatoes and from scratch creamed corn were MEH. I ate 2 dinner rolls but they weren’t as good as the ones I make. We had such an outstanding steak place in the small town we lived in in Colorado (Mobile 5 star) the bar has been set too high for others. Sadly, when “our” generation retired a couple of years ago the younger generation didn’t want to keep it going. The steaks were so tender they didn’t even have steak knives!
11/12 131.0
11/13 132.0 I think this is the end result of Friday night’s carbs! My 5th morning in a row without BPC. I do have it after DH wakes up but by then my system has been “awakened” and I have noticed a difference in my hunger earlier in the day and I don’t like it. Hardly drank any water today, the weather has turned winter-y and water is hard. I did drink 10 cups of coffee! LOL Down a smidge overall this round by average. See you all in 59!4 -
@quiltingjaine I hear ya sista!!! Water is harder and eating is easier since the cold weather makes your body feel the need to bulk up for the cold. Btw. Great profile picture...what a transformation!!!2

11/04 - 177.2 My body seems to like this number, even if I don’t. Yesterday I felt so strong and capable and that made sticking to plan and getting in my steps very easy. I am starting today also feeling strong and confident so I’m hoping I can get through all those inevitable temptations. Tomorrow is a different story. I will be traveling out of town to celebrate my daughter’s 24th birthday with a movie, a restaurant and some shopping. I will stick to plan before and after the excursion but I will ultimately enjoy the middle as we celebrate. I will try not to go overboard, but carbs add up quickly. I will be bringing home fresh parsley, cucumber and lemons for the “triple threat” concoction to offset any water bloat from the birthday lunch.
11/05 - 177.2 Great day again yesterday. Stayed with plan yet no budge on the scales. Ugg. Travel today a couple of hours away to a real Mall (that is a luxury for me!) Lots of things to experience today. I will be off plan but I will try to be reasonable. Have a great week everyone!
11/06 -179.0 Enjoyed the trip but stayed way longer than expected due to shopping. Multiple restaurant meals. The only NSV was that I managed to skip some pretty tempting desserts and just stick to meals. The movie “A Star is Born” was very good. I saw the remake in the 1970’s and it is a bit different. Lady Gaga is a phenomenal actress! And who thought she could only sing and play the piano? Bradley Cooper was excellent, as usual. I loved my time with my daughter. Since she had the baby last fall, we have not got to get away very often for fun out-of-town things. It was very nice. Tomorrow and Thursday is more travel. This is going to be a very bad round for me. I’m going to have to try to do my best but it won’t be good.
11/07 - 178.6 Was at home yesterday so I have a loss this morning. I do well at home sticking to my plan. My exercise has been way down in the past month since the cold. With no livingroom (renovation continues) I only have my work movement. That is a lot, but not continual like exercise. I hope to get moving again soon, even if it’s just marching in place I will be leaving in a few for another out of town trip to find a home depot and order carpet installation and utility room flooring. Have a great hump day everyone!
11/08 - 179.6 Ugg. However, I found my carpet and ordered the in home measuring. Also found the flooring for the utility room. Home depot has free installation right now. The Chinese food is likely retaining water from yesterday. More travel today for the injections in my head for the hair loss. About 100 miles each way from home. I will work on the bloat tomorrow after a brief trip (about 30 miles each way) to the vet clinic with my 18 ½ yr old kitty. She has a bad cold and it’s time for a senior check-up anyway. It will be nice to be home when all of this is done!
11/09 - 180.2 OMgosh. Out of town again yesterday to the Dermatologist and then home just in time for the Pool Hall & Potluck. Off to the Vet today with Reeces my kitty. It will be a straight there & back trip and because she’ll be with me, there will be no temptation to stop and eat. I’ll be doing Tish’s triple threat water today for the bloat. I will be working on this damage all weekend and catch up on all the posts which I know is always inspiring and informative. 1-4 inches of snow expected today. I’m a little nervous for this first wintry drive in a year. I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend.
11/10 - 179.6 Vet appointment turned out so-so. Reeces the cat’s bloodwork showed slight elevations in her BUN (kidney) and one of her liver numbers. She needs a recheck in two months. Everything else turned out good including her teeth. She had to be sedated for the bloodwork so they got a pretty good look in her mouth. Overall, not bad for her age. We tried to catch Ruby the Chicken for the past couple of days but she keeps getting away, then going back up in the tree. About 2 inches of snow on the ground now. We contacted the closest farm who agreed she is probably theirs, but they’ve made no attempt to help. I talked to the vet yesterday who does housecalls on the farms. He said to throw a medium weight blanket over her to catch her. We may try that today if I can get help. I am sad to lose her, but it is in her best interest. Happy with the scale this morning. I drank Tish’s triple threat water yesterday evening and stayed with plan. I felt pretty strong.
11/11 -177.6 Whoosh. Gone is the water weight. So, so much easier when I am at home. Not that there are not temptations, but it just feels like there is no food that I can’t easily have some other time. Away from home or on the Thursday potlucks are just tough, tough, tough because it feels like a “missed opportunity” to eat new things. I am going to try some of the ideas I’ve been given and mailed, and I’m going to try to consider seeing better choices when out of town as a “missed opportunity” to become stronger, healthier and more successful.
11/12 - 177.6 Same old, same old. Had a very good day yesterday. A few weak moments but I managed to get past them successfully. I sipped my triple threat “tea” and got less done around the house than I wanted. They are coming to measure for carpet on Thursday and my house is full of boxes and mess from the livingroom reno that is almost done. Oh my. Drywall dust still everywhere and lots to be packed and done. I don’t know how I’ll get through this. After the measure will be the worst as the whole house is being recarpeted (all but the kitchen & bathroom). This is so much packing and moving everything out from room to room. Will I survive? During times like this I miss my husband even more!
11/13 - 176.0 Yesssss…… Wow, did I ever fight my cravings last night but guess who won? Congratulations to all those victories I have read this round. Those pounds lost, those inches lost, that body fat % going down, reaching that normal BMI and all the other accomplishments. I am looking forward to the next round where I hope to do better than I did this round. Thankfully, our final weigh-in will be Thanksgiving morn (before the feast). It is round 60 that will be the big battle for me, fighting the holiday gain. It’s only one day, right? See you all in round 59.

05/11 Had a relatively active weekend, not so many steps but plenty of strength training and rowing, calorie intake was under maintenance. Goals for today get out for a run this evening unless the weather is really bad, if it is really bad use the eliptical at home instead and stick to my calories [/b]
06/11 Got out for my run, calories were exactly spot on (never happens) so goals smashed yesterday. Goal today is to stick to calories again and get a lower body weights session in.
07/11 Left a little room in my calories for attending a work dinner this evening as it's normally 3 courses & wine and got my lower body weights in. Goal for today is to enjoy rest day.
08/11 Overestimated my calories severely for yesterday's dinner so looks far worse than it was but still has me at around a 300 cal deficit over the week if I keep at my calorie allowance the rest of the week. Today's goal is to get upper body weight in - although this will depend on how my shoulder feels later as slept funny on it, if it's not great I will just do it tomorrow after work instead and also calories to be on target today.
09/11 Ate to about Maintenance yesterday instead of my deficit, logged all and will just keep plodding. Didn't get around to getting my weights in either as was stuck at work longer than expected and hair appointment was earlier than planned. Today's goal is to try and incorporate the upper body session and stick to calories.
12/11 Weekend update: Was very busy over the weekend, didn't get a chance to get my upper body weights in on Friday but went rowing Saturday morning, back into a normal routine at work this week so should be a bit easier to get my exercise in. Had the hangover from hell yesterday so didn't log anything but would approximate that I was around maintenance seeing as only had some toast, a pizza and some chocolate.
13/11 Had a good row this morning about 7km on the river, bright and early. Haven't really day snacked much the last couple of days so going to stop pencilling in morning snacks. Goal today is to get an early night and a good night's sleep, sometimes the simple goals are the most important ones.5
