Happy New Year!
How fabulous for you! Please share with us (I guess on the January thread) how you were able to lose 7lbs in a month. Is there a particular system that you are eating/using? How much do you work out etc. 2 lbs from your ultimate goal Woohoo!
Happy New you!3 -
Happy New Year, everyone!
2018 flew by! Entering year 3 on MFP. I regressed a bit this month...I allowed myself to do so. Back on the straight and narrow in the morning. I hadn't really let myself get that far off track and I let myself explore over-indulging some and learned it isn't as "satisfying" as it used to seem. SEEM is the operative word, because we know it really isn't satisfaction, it is usually stuffing some other feelings down.
I did log everything, so I didn't just go off the rails completely. I just let myself eat more calories than I should have. Time to reacquaint myself with the feeling of satisfaction of meeting small daily goals again. Even this was very enlightening.

Down just a half pound, this week I am really going after sodium as increasing it. Reason is 6 days last week, I woke up at some point in night with terrible foot and leg cramps. Also bought some zero powerade, and been drinking one 32 oz bottle on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. May get more as something is off kilter and I need to get that back on track. My potassium level taken less than 3 weeks ago was high normal so not that. If it keeps up I will ask for a check on the electrolytes over all.
December 15 227.5
Small loss, I will take it. Still drinking the zero Powerade. Still having odd leg and foot cramps. I do stretches every day. Saw all my electrolyte numbers they look fine. But I suspect it could be magnesium related. So I started taking a supplement yesterday. I have 5 of the top 8 symptoms. And will ask my Dr who I see on the 20th. Who will be amazed again. When I saw her in September I had lost 46 pounds from my starting weight. And now she will see I have lost another 31 or so pounds. I have more clothes on when weighed in Dr. office than when I weigh at home.
My AC1 has gone from being 12.4 in January 2018 to 6.1 in December 2018. So from totally uncontrolled diabetes status to now considered pre-diabetic numbers.
Dec 22 226.0
Down 2.8 pounds so far this month. Not bad for month of December. Really hoping for no gain/no loss for Christmas week. Must remember drink a glass of water first.
May you all enjoy your Holiday and spend with people who bring joy to your Lives!
Did not weigh in on Saturday the 29th, weighed in on the 31st. I am holding some water weight had a cold for about a week. But also was a bad girl and had too much carby food. So wiped out the 1.8 weight loss.
So ended December with just 1 pound down. But better than a big gain. So for January watching the carbs, and already put together my bottle with cucumbers, and some mint leaves and one lime floating around in it. Also soon strawberries will be coming in. I like to let those float in water as well. Going to really push water for next few weeks get back on track.
Ended at 227.5 for December 31.6 -
So happy we made it! I'm happy to be 194.... A year ago I was 209 and I thought that was quite the accomplishment! I thank the good Lord for bringing me this far, and I can't wait to see what God has in store for me in 2019. Let's go!2
