Where to meet single men in their 40’s?

Single 40's hear. I've met ladies at my events. Triathlons, bike rides. I'm part of several clubs; volleyball, softball...I don't bowl or golf, sorry if that's a deal breaker LOL. I seem to have the same issue with finding the 40 something single ladies. Again all married with children and the ring finger was naked!!!! I don't do the bar scene and online dating is a bust. If you see me at the gym, say Hi, that would work. MFP is the only social media anything I do. Surprisingly, I have spoken with a few single ladies that I have connected with here.3

oh actually i read once that men who are formally incarcerated are twice as likely to marry than other men
Cause they realize getting to hang out with their bro all the time is more fun.3 -
There are a lot of members in their 40's here. It's been said that MFP is the best dating site on the internet2

Plenty, mostly single-fathers and divorced.- Outdoor activities eg Fishing, Camping, Hiking, Shooting range
- Events eg Sports, Fairs
- Venues eg Theme parks, Ski resorts
ETA: You may consider faith-based organisations like some Churches who do prioritise organising events/activities for their singles to mingle and possibly "equally-yoke."
With the exception of Churches, I can sometimes be found at the above places. If I'm not working, studying, training, etc. Most of my "free" time is spent at the archery range.
As to church, I believe, just don't go to churches.3 -

no they marry women
the hypothesis was they want a “normal” life after getting out and marrying is part of that. but they were also more likely to abuse their future spouse sotinkerhellraiser wrote: »Motorsheen wrote: »Prisons are filled with guys of all ages.

Sadly, I can't disagree with you, case specific of course, for some men and women of faith have had traumatic experiences for having yielded at all, stuck in loveless and/or abusive marriages.
Proactive men like you, live your lives full to the brim, having learnt to prioritise refueling your quality of life, however its composition presents itself - maintaining consistency and commitment; The very qualities women are seeking in their pursuits of finding someone - The Ideal Lifestyle Fit.4 -

Older, wiser, and fun.
Holding out for that...

Funny this thread popped up. My relatives asked me when i was gonna get married.
Me : when i find the right woman.
Them : you been single all your life is there anyone in mind?
Me : nope.
Them : you should go out and talk to women.
Me : i did that for 10 years starting at 16 all the way till 26 (31 now). Ain't no luck as to even get a wink back.
Them : well you need to try harder.
Me : naw i'm okay with being alone, but if you want grand kids so bad then hook me up and make sure she's to my liking. Ain't trying to get hitched to just anyone.
Them : wow face.
i think it's time they chased me and not the other way around. So done with being told i'm not good enough when clearly i was because some of the women i asked out in the past are now married to guys that dress like they came outta the good will store and almost living on welfare. WOOPS i said too much im just rambling at this point.
To me the point is to just enjoy yourself and stop stressing about finding a mate. It'll drive you bonkers. There are plenty of things to do that are enjoyable and not sacrificed due to relationships.

If I were in the mindset to meet women they would find me at the off road park, at home working on my house, at home working on my cars, playing D&D at one of the game stores, or at home playing video games.
I'm trying to get out more now that I'm free but haven't really been pushing that agenda. I'm even considering just having groceries delivered because I hate going to the grocery store.2 -
