@Winner_in_Life - I forgot to press post yesterday 🙄
This is definitively keeping me accountable and on track 😁10 -
This is a great thread for accountability and support.
Back for another round. Posting weight each morning, and comments for the previous day.
In October 2017 I weighed 158lbs. My aim for 2019 is to reach 155.

Round 64 -|- End Goal: < 167
11/01: 166.7: Goals ✅ Went to a health seminar at our local state of the art leisure centre this afternoon. They had a draw for ten x 10hr Boditrax courses at a 90% reduction (£30 instead of £300), and I won one of them. We get 10 weeks temporary membership at the centre, a Boditrax health/fitness analysis at the beginning, 10 x 1hr sessions with a personal coach, and another analysis at the end to see how we have done. It's just what I need to make the final, push to my Ideal goal weight.
12/01: 166.5: Goals One more lb of Xmas excess to discard. Out most of today with my DYD. It will keep me away from temptation.
Round 65 ~|~ End Goal: < 165
13/12: 166.4: Goals ✅ Stayed on track. NSV: Visited with DED and she had had baclava. I had two pieces, but declined any of the other goodies. Was under basic calories for the day! I normally eat back a lot of my exercise calories when we visit with them, as she and DYGS bake for our visit each week.
14/12: 166.4: Goals 😃 Delighted to have maintained over the weekend. ✅ Got my workout in early, and walked over 11,000 steps. Also had a decent deficit, food wise.
15/12: 166.2: Goals ✅ No time to do HIIT today. Had a few chocolates when at my crochet group, but still under goal.
16/12: 166.1: Goals ✅ Grocery shopping today, so lots of fresh fruit/veg for the days ahead.
17/12: 165.9: Goals Meh!!! I did really well right up until it was almost bedtime, then started snacking my way through my deficit. Stopped short of going over, which I wouldn't have done in the past, but Pringles and crackers were not my finest choices. I'm, frankly, amazed that I haven't retained more water with all that sodium. Still, just one bad day since New Year is an NSV, and a definite improvement on my track record. At least I have 5 days left to reach my round EW.
18/12: 166.0: Goals ✅ Had a busy day with Latin Study and Photography groups. Did 40 mins strength after dinner, and then caught up with my steps with indoor walking a la Leslie Sansone. 🤞🏻Just the weekend to get through. 🤞🏻

THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES OR SHORTCUTS to achieving permanent change.
REMINDERS One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.- Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
- A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
- Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
- The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
- Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
- The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
- When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
- Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

01/13 153lb
01/14 153lb Happy to maintain as had roast dinner yesterday.
01/15 153lb..No Idea last night had lost half a pound and I always lose 2lb overnight always..just not this time
Changes today trying a 15/9 intermittent fast Hope to squeeze in some 16/8's Using up last of my slimfast as I know now that's not the answer but I hate wasting "food". Swapped to Green tea for this week also.
01/16 153.2 urgh! But went to bed feeling sick and full realised haven't been to the bathroom in days (Ibs) so hope that is the cause, as I have been very good with diet. Keeping with yesterdays plan for the week. My tummy is massive today and I felt full despite not eating for 16 hours?
01/17 153.2 again! However I noticed I felt thinner..and my underwear wasn't leaving marks on me, so I dug out a pair of jeans that I tried on at the beginning of the year when I couldn't get them past my hips..Despite only losing 2lbs I can now get them on comfortably and do up the button (not the zip yet) I have lost 3 inches on my stomach alone. I'm thrilled.
Keep up with above plan.
01/18 153.8 ...Boo! Woke up feeling awful like I have a heavy cold coming, I did an hours yoga last night, stick to diet as above, going to try another yoga session maybe a quick HITT session. Have a good day all
01/19 152.4 BoooooYA! At last. Fitted in a 30 min yoga and 15 mins meditation last night also 15 mins yoga this am, I woke up flu feeling but it's gone an hour later..I think I have pushed through a barrier, I feel fantastic! stick with this way , hopefully more wooshing to come.

@kmfeig87 Thanks for the tip, Fresh ginger sounds perfect, ill grab some and turmeric today.
@CaliMom Teach You are doing fab for a few days in, I never lost so much weight that quickly , any tips?
@shunggie well done on not caving on the mcdonalds , I too was craving a cheeseburger but that's gone now I think for me it's were I start using up fat deposits so my body cries out for more?
so many more inspiring posts alas time is slipping away, Have a fab weekend all x11 -
Hi all, joining late but hopefully I can roll it into the next round as well.9

Round 61 11st 12lb (-1 lb)
Round 62 11st 11.6lb (-0.5lb
Round 63 11st 11.8lb (+0.2lb)
Round 64 11st 8.0lb (-3.8lb)
Day/Weight/Comment
01/13 11st 8.0lb No change today, but slightly earlier weigh in. Looking for similar loss this round if possible.
01/14 11st 8.2lb Later weigh in, not that it's done me any favours. Had less than allowed MFP calories yesterday. I was going to go for a walk today but the weather looks miserable outside. I really need to reset my bedtime and getting up time so that I start having normal days again.
01/15 11st 8.2lb No change to weight. I went to bed 3 hours earlier than yesterday, but it didn't help that much as I couldn't sleep for ages even though I'd fallen asleep on the sofa for an hour before I went to bed. Was restless much of the night. Despite coming in at less calories again and actually getting out yesterday for the walk I still haven't had a loss. Disappointed.
01/16 11st 8.2lb Still no change. I ate slightly under calories again - my trend weight is not looking good at all.
01/17 11st 7.6lb Finally a 0.5lb loss which takes me just 0.2lb lower than I was 10 days ago. Oh well, no one said this was going to be easy! I'd like to be at least 1.5lb lower this round.
01/18 11st 7.4lb Earlier weigh in than usual so I'm happy with a 0.2lb loss. Hoping to keep to this earlier weigh in as I'd only be fooling myself if I waited another couple of hours, and besides, I want my breakfast!
01/19 11st 7.4lb. No change, but that's ok. Was expecting a bit of a loss as I got out and walked yesterday but so long as I don't gain I'm happy.

Day/Weight/Comment
01/13- 220.6- Been doing well with moderating my alcohol intake for the last week and monitoring food. Also I have been making an effort to stay fairly active. Today I am aiming to not snack and to get a long walk in later with the dog. Good luck everybody X
01/14- 220.0- A good day yesterday, been out walking for 2 hours this morning though because I was pushing a buggy the Fitbit didn't log all the steps. It's a low calorie day today, feeling very in control at the moment X
01/15- 221.0- yesterday was very successful, 15,000steps and stuck to my calorie goals, hopefully the scales will show the drop tomorrow. Today I am aiming to stay under 1500cals, not many steps but il make up for it tomorrow x
01/16- 219.4- Yesterday I ended on about 1900cals which is 400cal more than what I was aiming for, I stayed up too late and then snacked when I really should have gone to bed. Today is a low calorie day, plenty of walking, just done a food shop so I'm set up for success for the next week X
01/17- 219.0- Going in the right direction, I smashed through yesterday's goals and when I got tired I actually went to bed instead of grabbing the nearest sugary snack. Today I would like to stay under 1500cals and get some housework done. It's chilly outside but I will be focusing again on steps tomorrow X
01/18- 218.2- I stayed under my calorie goal yesterday, I feel like I made good use of those calories aswel. Today is a fast day, I will be getting my steps in nice and early X
01/19- 217.6- Well yesterday's fast turned into 1800cals (and not on the right kind of food)...but I am retrying today, I know they say to write off failed fasts and just carry on with your next planned one but I feel like fasting fits in well with my plans today so I'm happy to do it today instead. Another little drop on the scales this morning, all adding up X

UGW: 144-146
Pre challenge weight loss: -12 lbs.
Challenge weight loss R40 – R64: -29 lbs
My tax season starts this round which means I'll be working weekends and roughly 12 hours a day. Clients bring us goodies and the owner of the CPA firm often buys us lunch and dinner. I'm going to use this round to figure out exactly how to maintain my weight while being tempted by donuts, cookies, pizza, etc. It's almost as bad as the holidays!
R65 SW: 145
Day/Weight/Comment
01/13 - 144 - I'm very surprised! Due to my sodium yesterday and today, I'll bet it goes up tomorrow, but I'm very happy today. I've also got my lunch and healthy snacks packed for tomorrow.
01/14 - 146 - Here's the sodium! I'll be drinking plenty of water today.
01/15 - 147 - Wow, I did not want to post this, but facing this is what has kept me on track the last 8 months. My daughter stopped by last night so I had an extra glass of wine with her and I ate leftovers from Sunday for dinner, which did not help with my water weight. I have supper plans with my my golf league tonight at an Italian restaurant, so tomorrow is probably not going to be any better. But, it is my last night out with the ladies until tax season is over in April, so I'm going to go and enjoy myself. I'll just have to work really hard this next week to get my weight back down.
01/16 - 146.5 - I had a great time last night and managed to stay just under maintenance calories for the day.
01/17 - 145.5 - I slept well last night and got plenty of water yesterday.
01/18 - 145.5 - I did not sleep well last night. We've got a winter storm hitting my area tomorrow and my car started flashing a check engine light along with traction control failure lights on the way home last night. I can't take off work today because of tax season so I drove in this morning with the lights. I've got to work some hours tomorrow before the storm hits, so I'll have to juggle dropping off the car at the garage and borrowing my husband's car to drive in to work. My daughter and her boyfriend are driving south to WV to see an indie rock concert this weekend, so I'm a nervous wreck about them driving through this storm. These are the types of triggers that can cause me to stress eat, but I'm more aware of them now and as many of you have said, eating is not going to fix anything. I hope all of you have a good weekend!
01/19 - 145 - I did not stress eat yesterday! My daughter elected not to go to WV due to the weather and the mechanic should be able to fix my car this morning while I'm at work. I'm going to work a few hours and try to get home before the snow hits our area.

01/14 208.6 I usually weigh myself when I get up, and wait until I get to work to write my post. I could not wait for this one! What a great way to start the day = )
01/15 208.8 Kickboxing last night, and I made some delicious Skinnytaste skillet cordon bleu, Things are good.
01/16 208.8 Had the hungry horrors last night.... All I wanted to do was snack, and all I wanted was carbs ! Spent 1/2 the night searching for mac and cheese recipes! I guess I know what I will be making this weekend!
01/17 209.0. Not unexpected. Kickboxing tonight
01/18 208.2 Ill take it! Looking forward to a long weekend, even if I am snowed in = )

01/13 - 250.4
01/14 - 248.8 - Whoomp! There it is! This was the lowest weight I got down to last year in May before I quit trying because "I wasn't losing weight fast enough". So I gained almost all of it back. Doesn't make any sense, does it? lol
01/15 - 249.8 - I'm happy with this. Still technically in the 240s! I'm puffy this morning so this is probably water retention. Stuck to calorie limit yesterday but had a later dinner. No LNS. Also, I had red meat the night before for dinner and that seems to stay in my system longer.
01/16 - 251.8 - I did really well yesterday - would've been slightly under my 1650 goal but I lost the plot after dinner while making John's lunch for work today. (3120 total for the day) It's just food weight and will be gone again soon. IF I behave myself!
01/17 - 251.8
01/18 - 249.6 - on this date last year, I weighed 274.2#
01/19 - 248.8 - So last year it took me 108 days to lose 25.4 lbs and I thought I wasn't doing well & quit at this weight. So far with this attempt, it's taken me 102 days to lose 23 lbs and I feel like a winner and will keep going! Taking up these 10 day challenges has really helped with keeping things in perspective and keeping me accountable. Lowering my expectations of how quickly I'll lose is also helping. I'll get there when I get there but I AM going to get there!

Boy my day did not go to plan yesterday. So I blame TOM and stress eating on the 1000cals I ate in snacks.
Today is a friend's birthday and a last min plan to go on a game drive. That will be great, but means estimated food, probably alcohol and not my planned day of gym, work and relaxing, hence more stress.
But i'll enjoy it and get back to the plan on Monday.

I'm back, I had to take a minute away from this. My week was very stressful at work and I just couldn't stop myself eating far too many calories each day until I stopped counting on Wed. It was stressing me even more. I now realise I don't just stress-eat, I also stress-shop. Which meant I had things at home that I didn't want to be eating but of course I did. My will power had gone out the window.
But it's time to get a grip, I only have two weeks left in this job and then a much needed holiday. Only 9 days until DH arrives, I really wanted to be below my weight from when I left the UK, but that may be a stretch now. I'll catch up on posts over the weekend - 470 posts - and try to get back into a more controlled eating pattern...
01/19 71.2 (-0.4)
Now after my resolve to be back, I gave up on counting last night because my day took a positive turn: I got offered a job I really, really want I only interviewed on Wed, so was not expecting a response so fast. It would mean a lot of life changes, so not a quick decision. I went out to celebrate and skipped the treadmill. I'm paying for it with a headache today and am walking on the treadmill as I write this. The loss has nothing to do with good choices, but probably the iffy tummy from the emotional rollercoaster this week (and drinks last night).
Anyway, I finally ordered a fitbit yesterday, decided on the Charge 3 after watching reviews on Youtube. I had never done that before, it was so helpful, especially the things people didn't like about the ones I was considering. I'll get it when DH arrives - 8 more sleeps

2lbs.seems possible.I have been so motivated. Is this really me?? Hope to keep up Keto & IF. for a few more days then a rest.Today is Day 17 for more than 10000 steps, today will be a challenge bc my 2 Grandaughter s are sleeping over so no Y .
Not a thing is better than those girls
1/14=191.7 Oh No not another plateau! I hope to get over this multiple day weight. Calories under, water& exercise good.
We also have snow & that is ok but the temps are too low(20's).This is normal western Pa.weather. We have been spoiled so far,so no complaing from me,at least not yet.
1/15=190.6 OK. More like I had hope&worked for
1/16=190.3 good day yesterday, today should good as well bc 3 water classes. So much fun &always a good calorie burner.
1/17=190.1 better get to Y today bc 2 winter storms approach.today is Bone broth day which usually helps the loss.If you haven't read &/or made bone broth please do,does sound kinda yucky but it is really tasty & nutritious.)long&tedious but worth it.I use the rotisserie chicken after using the meat the previous day. Give it a try.
1/18=189.5 Got the steps in yesterday(day 22) I want to make a month, looks like it may happen thanks to bike & water aerobics..Who knew I could,If we get the snow I will be forced to stay home & then it becomes hard...My walking has improved bc of morning walks with L.S. My goal is to be able to walk for Our big trip in Aug.They want me to get a wheelchair BUT I am determined not to.Thanks to all who make me laugh, encourage, motivate & let me know how similar we all are in this Journey.

1/1/19: 213.4
UGW 170

Day/Weight/Comment
01/13 - 203.7 (5839 steps) – Today is my 1st full day here in this challenge. Didn’t make it to the barn to ride yesterday. We got lots of snow. Zero structure to my day. Could have been a potential problem. I had 2 meals still leftover from last week’s meal prep so, I used those for lunch/dinner. Rode the recumbent bike in the living room for a total of 50 mins (10.05 miles). Still allowed myself room to have a pint of Halo Top.
01/14 – 204.8 (6813 steps) – Sundays are the laziest day of my week. This was no different. We got 3” of snow and I did NOT want to leave the house. I slept in late and was a couch potato. I stayed in the green with my calories and even did 37 mins (7.77 miles) on the bike. I was able to meal prep lunch/dinner for the work week. Hopefully leaving on Friday for weekend in KY with my Mom.
01/15 – 203.5 (7480 steps) – I ate all 3 of my meals at work yesterday seeing as I had to work a 10 hour day. It felt better to have dinner consumed BEFORE I got on the road for my hour drive home, plus 2 errands to run in the middle. I wasn’t tempted for a quick drive-by dinner or crappy quick meal when I got home (at 7:30pm). Win! I squeezed in 33 mins on the bike (6.9 miles) before hitting the sack. All in all it was a good day.
01/16 – 203.5 (6788 steps) – Successful food planning at work yesterday, despite the stress & chaos. Logged all 3 of my meals before I even ate them. No cravings when I got home. No mindless snacking. Rode the bike while watching NCAA basketball (45 mins – 9.61 miles). This weekend is going to be tough. Going out of town to my Aunt/Uncle’s house in KY and just found out there was a death in my Aunt’s family today so, there will be LOTS of company and food while we are there. This will be my first “test” since starting over.
01/17 – 203.3 (7084 steps) – Yesterday was a very long and stressful day at work. It wasn’t until after 8pm last night that I was able to write my comments. I didn’t snack or over eat. I stuck to my plan and ate the meals that I had prepped for work. 40 minutes on the bike (8.58 miles), some reading & visiting with my parents, then off to bed. Off to KY tomorrow morning. Not sure I’ll get to do a full update or weigh-in but I’ll be stopping by to read everyone’s posts.
01/18 - 200.6 (4626 steps) Almost to Onederland!! Had a long day yesterday between work and a 2-hour meeting after work. Had zero ambition to do any exercise. Did a small amount of snacking but stayed under my calorie goal. Winter storm coming but we are headed to KY here in a couple hours. True test time!
01/19 - 201.2 (3828 steps) Used my Uncle’s scale. Ate out for all 3 meals yesterday due to traveling. Tried to avoid snacking in between. Instead of buying chips to snack on at my Uncle’s house, I bought 4 bell peppers to crunch on. That did save me late last night when everyone else was eating salted peanuts.

Round 65 (this is my 2nd time)
5'4" Female
SW: 162.7 lbs
GW: 140-145 lbs
1/13 - 162.7 - today is a homework day and I am notorious with snacking when I do this. So, I plan to find ways to NOT snack on crap throughout the day. If I am up by tomorrow, I hope by only 0.3lbs.
1/14 - 163.9 - and the scale shows the snacking I did yesterday.
1/15 - 163.1 - slowly making a come back from the excessive snacking on Sunday.
1/16 - 162.3 - Feeling good and making small changes. I really wanted more than one snack last night and made tea instead. I had a very large mental argument with my brain, and I actually won this one.
1/17 - 162.4 (my scale is touchy - I weighed 2 more times and the 2nd time it said 159.8, then 160.4 - so I chose the largest number to be safe). I am feeling great! My energy is up. My mental clarity is so much better. I am THRILLED with how I am feeling. I have been exhausted for way too long, so this is AWESOME!
1/18 - 160.1 - Got a great workout in this morning. It was only 25 minutes long; sweat was coming out of me and I was out of breath. Feeling great! Had some healthy fats and protein at breakfast time (around 6am) and it is 4 hours later......not feeling hungry. I love it. I used to have 1-2 snacks by now!
1/19 - 160.4 - drinking morning coffee in a quiet house. Ahhhhhhh........nice.

Round 65 SW: 216.4
1/13—216.6—Excellent. I was afraid yesterday's number was a fluke and that I'd bounce way high again. Yesterday, at the very end of round 64, I managed 31 push ups. I'm nearly 1/3 of the way to my end of year goal of being able to do 100 push ups in a single set. Losing more weight would likely help me with that goal!
1/14—219—Least shocking spike ever. I didn't eat well yesterday but had a true salt fest.
1/15—217—It'd be interesting to see where this number would be if I could stop eating salt-laden snacks. Bah!
1/16—218.4—I have no explanation other than a slightly earlier weigh-in. Huh! Still, I'm feeling pretty good.
1/17—218.2—Hmm hmm hmm. This round has been a puzzle. Work is very hectic right now, but I like being busy. I'm not eating terribly, but it's not spectacular either.
1/18—216.6—Back to the first day's weight. Yesterday, after I did another round of my push ups challenge, I realized that I had just done 100 push ups in around 10 minutes (they were staggered across 8 sets, with 1 minute breaks between sets). I'm getting close to my goal!
1/19—216—Still not a perfect eating day yesterday, but it was better! I've started a new 30-day Butt and Gut challenge. Not high-intensity but something to keep me doing some strength/core exercises every day.

FarmerCarla wrote: »@puttyputty I like the pushup stands. They're not very tall and not the swivel kind, but they are more comfortable than hands flat on the floor. I suspect shoulder problems occur when doing deep pushups with stands, especially the higher ones, when the shoulders dip below the hands. That's just my guess. I'll be happy with getting my chest to my hands and back up.

01/13 - 138.8 - 1683
I've decided to stop obsessing about calories, at least for this round, and to focus on macros (approx. 20% P, 30% F, 50% carbs, mostly veggies, fruit, and whole grains) plus exercise, meditation, fun, community, and sleep. Although I'd like to weigh about 10-12 pounds less, I'm at a healthy weight and feel good, so as maintenance or slow loss, I'm happy either way.
01/14 - 140 - 1706
Sodium yesterday, and not enough water. Back on track today.
01/15 - 139.2 - 1691
Yesterday was a good day. I was on track with food, although my macros were off (too much fat, not enough veggie carbs), and I had a great 90 minute workout at the Y - walking, weights, bike. I love the Precor video bikes - I rode up a mountain in the Italian Alps! I'm making gluten free crab cakes for lunch -- mmmmmm!
01/16 - 138.2 - 1701
That's better. I ate responsibly yesterday and did an hour+ on the bike.
01/17 - 139 - 1724
I'm sticking to my exercise program, but not so much to my calorie goals. I clearly reset my sugar cravings over the holidays! But I'm working on it....and today is a new day. Reset!
01/18 - 139.2 - 1969
Gaaa! I don't know what's wrong with me lately. Ate too much. It was all good, healthy food, just too much of it. Off to the gym, and stocking up on veggies for big snow that's coming tomorrow.
01/19 - 139.2 - 1532
We're snowed in today, so I'm planning house stuff - rearranging some furniture, cleaning, cooking....maybe a nap!

Day/Weight/Comment
01/13 - 189.5- didn’t make the best food choices before bedtime. Bread at dinner seem to really mess with my morning weight. Also ate Ben and Jerry’s right before my eating time was over..
01/14 - 189.5 more bad choices. I need to keep track of food again. I was trying to do this without tracking but I need the accountability
01/15 - 187! I kept to my calories and NO SUGAR SWEETS!
01/16 - 186.5 loving this program. I’m not even hungry on off hours anymore!
01/17 - 188 hmm.. I actually didn’t eat enough yesterday and felt sick this morning. Not sure how this number came up. Won’t let it get me down. I hope to be at 185 by 1/22!
01/18 - 188.5?! Wth... maybe lack of water?
01/19 - 188 no clue, I drank a little more water but still feeling under the weather. But then again, I’ve been sleeping terribly- maybe that’s what’s causing it

01/13 – 199.3 – same weight as yesterday. I logged all food, walked 3 miles, but also ate the extra calories, drank all my water, and no alcohol.
01/14 – 198.7 – YEA! Didn’t walk yesterday but stay below my calories. No alcohol for the whole weekend.
01/15 – 198.6 - Had Mexican and a beer last night, but wasn’t too far over the my goal. Still recorded all food, walked, and drank my water.
01/16 – 198.6 – Yesterday was good – logged food, walked, drank water, and no alcohol. Now the tough part. I’m traveling for the next few days. No scale and need to stay strong.
01/17 – so scale today (not at home), but I did record all my food and didn’t have any alcohol. Walking wasn’t a lot, but a some and I should have drunk more water.
01/18 – still no scale, but I did record all my food. Minimal walking and one glass of wine.
01/19 – still no scale (tomorrow I’ll know), but I did record all my food. Minimal walking again and two glasses of wine.

Goals for Round 65 -
* Under 1900 calories each day
* Track all food and steps
* Run 7 days above 2.5 miles
* Add 5 days of weight workouts
* Get to and stay under 200!!!
1/13 - 203.1 (1,387 calories, 10,692 steps): Solid day. Tracked all food. Stayed away from the dinner/night binge. A little too high on the carbs which showed blood glucose in the 140-150 range for long periods of the day. Did not workout so I need to improve there. Better things for today!
1/14 - 204.3 (way too high on the calories, and way too low on the steps): The dinner/night binge got me. I'll get it today. Going for a perfect day today! Good luck to everyone.
1/15 - 202.8 (~1,900 calories, 8,647 steps): Back in the right direction. Decent day. Need to get my treadmill game back on. Will try to get on it tonight or get a long walk in while waiting for kid's activities. Keep the momentum going.
1/16 - 200.7 (~1,600 calories, 17,564 steps): A good day. Got in a 30 minute and 50 minute brisk walk. Need to get back on the treadmill and hit the weights again. Received my A1C results which were 6.2%. My doctor will be happy, but I want to get it under 6. A new 3 month goal for A1C. Glad to see the scale go in the down direction. Good luck to everyone as we hit the hump of the 10 day challenge!!!
1/17 - 202.3 (did not track all calories, 11,417 steps): The slice of pizza got me! The one thing I was proud is that it was only one slice, and not 3-4. Keep on, keeping on. Here is to a good day for everyone!
1/18 - 202.9 (did a cheat meal, 9,417 steps): I was happy I did not turn the cheat meal...into a cheat day...into a cheat week...into a cheat month....and just giving up. I need to get on the treadmill. Going to make sure to work out all weekend. Love this forum because it keeps you accountable everyday and manages the ups and downs.
1/19 - 203.8: Blah on everything. Back at it today! Only a few days left in this round and I really want to hit that goal of under 200. Under 200 and stay there!!! Good luck to everyone this weekend. We got this!10 -
Back again for another challenge. Stayed at 150 something for the last 4 days of round 64. Looking forward to breaking into the new decade. My body seems to be having a pretty hard time of letting go of the 150’s. My round 64 end weight was 150.2. My goal for round 65 is going to be 148. Hopefully I see a nice whoosh in this round since last round I didn’t really get anywhere. Although I did get back to my pre-Christmas weight and had my lowest 10 day average so far. So I am taking those both as wins and moving on.
1/13 - 151.7 this must be the bounce from Friday nights beers and food. We were just celebrating it being Friday and being done with last week. Did well yesterday and plan on doing the same today. Probably will be back down tomorrow.
1/14 - 154.3 so my plan was going great until about 6 when we had some unexpected old friends show up. Drinks and a very late dinner. Water and a healthy lunch and dinner is what I have in store for today. I will be back down tomorrow. I always gain a couple of pounds after a night of drinking. I was really irritated with my results last week, so I was felling sorry for myself. Today I'm back on the wagon. Clean eating, lots of water, and no alcohol till Saturday.
1/15 - 151.6 and back down. Lol, did great yesterday. On track today so far. 2 of my kids had dentist appt yesterday, the other 2 had them today. Didn’t get fast food for myself either day. So that’s a win. Yesterday was the last time I will have to accompany my 2nd oldest to an appt. He will be 18 in a couple of weeks, so another win for this week. 2 kids over the age of 18 (in 2-1/2 weeks) and 3 to go. It goes by so quick I swear. Now if I could just see a 140 something on the scale this week it would be a 5 star win!
1/16 - 148.9 I finally got the whoosh I had been waiting for. I'm sure I will bounce around here for a week or so, but that's fine. I am just happy I finally made it in the new decade. I have been trying to do this since the middle of December. Made my goal this round, so I am just going to try and maintain and be grateful. Also this means I have officially lost 30 pounds. Took me almost 7 months, but I made it. So my new goal this round is to get well acclimated in the 140's and not go past 149.9 again. Yeaah!
1/17 - 149.6 I stepped on the scale a couple of times this morning. I got this number twice and 148.9 twice. I will have to clean underneath it and reset it when I get home. Just didn't have time this am, kids were not cooperating with me and I was trying to put dinner in the crock pot so I didn't have to deal with that tonight. So I am going with the bigger one just in case. I'm still happy it is in the 140's and I actually expected it to go up anyways. Had a larger dinner than usual last night and for some reason I was starving all day yesterday. I also had a very big whoosh the day before, so figured it may bounce around for a couple of days. Still happy and excited I finally made it.
1/18 - 148.9 good day yesterday and all set for today. Mon-Fri are so easy to stay on track for me. It's the weekends that just get all messed up for me. DH works tomorrow so just planning on cleaning and getting the shopping done for the week. Happy with my progress this round so far. If I can maintain and finish around 148.xx I will take it as a win.
1/19 - 148.2 A little surprised. May have a bump up tomorrow. Had a couple of beers with DH, then a couple of mini size butterfinger bars after dinner last night. I was still under calories, but beer always seems to make me gain a little bit the next day. I had a terrible day at work and didn’t really eat anything. My calories were under 400 at 6 last night. So it just seemed like I had the munchies all night. I like the downward trend I have seen this week and today. I will accept it if it goes up a bit tomorrow. Crazy we are almost done with another round already.
