quiltingjaine wrote: »@shunggie I had to grin as I read about you skipping McD’s for the oatmeal. I endured many months of oatmeal as a WW. I never liked the texture and it always felt as if I had eaten lead weights and I would actually be hungry again in a couple of hours. Now when we travel I get a sausage egg McMuffin, hold the muffin. It satisfies and I’m not hungry for at least 6 hours.
I actually love oatmeal but I wanted the buttery, saltiness of the biscuit. I'm a little bored with oatmeal, but it's about the only whole grain I get in a day. I mix it up with different varieties.

My third Long Term Weight Goal: To weigh 145 by the 4th of July using the same plan as above.
Exercise:
During each Weight goal I plan on increasing my walking (back to what I did when I was on a downward trend). I also want to increase my cardio and regularly use weights to help firm my flabby arms.

01/13 183.4 Good day yesterday. Reached over 10,000 steps. Aerobic Dancing almost 20 minutes. Under calorie & carbs. Felt strong. Did not battle too much hunger. Busy work day today so the steps will be easy. The water may be challenging, but I will try hard to incorporate it. Good luck everyone on this round!
01/14 183.4 Thought it would be lower but I’m okay with this. Lots of NSV’s this past week.
01/15 186.2 Emergency situation with my business requiring local police, fire department, gas provider and then state police. Damn neighbor! Everyone is okay, thankfully, but let’s just say my meals were local restaurant runs yesterday, and I certainly ate my emotions in the form of some bingeing as well. Chaos around me and I feel very alone in handling it without my husband. This will be a long restoration process. I will share more details later but just too busy this morning with appointments this afternoon with insurance adjusters. I hope I can get a handle on myself and the situation today and even fit in a bit of a walk this evening to get my mindset back on track. This is the worst thing ever for me!
01/16 186.2 No change because I ate LNS after my fasting window last night. Eating my emotions more than actual hunger. Thank Goodness that I stuck to the plan for all my meals, Fasted until my usual 4:00 PM and took my 2 mile walk and did a little late night dancing or the scale will likely have went up. Fitbit showed over 13,000 steps and over 5 ½ miles total for the day. Blessed with this continued number on the scale after the 2:00 a.m. folly. I may try an egg fast today just to get things going again. It will depend how the day goes during the emergency and how often I have time to cook. I will keep my window between 4:00 pm and midnight. NO 2:00 am SNACKS!
01/17 186.4 Somewhat expected. 2 biscuits with dinner . Grande flaky layers no less! To offset I did aerobic dance for 43 minutes last night. However, not enough water and not enough steps. I just ran out of time.
01/18 186.2 Okay, even a small change downward is encouraging. Great day yesterday Healthwise. I got in 66 minutes of aerobic dancing in two sets. My son did one set of 39 minutes with me. He complained a little about it being too long, so I may cut his down to about 30 minutes temporarily until he adjusts. I don’t want him to cross his arms and downright quit and that would be a distinct possibility if I don’t act fast! However, he fully cooperated with the set at the moment. My Keto day went absolutely fantastic. I am always so happy when I feel so strong and stick with it like this. My mind took over last night in bed and I wanted to snack for sure. Hunger or Habit? I still don’t know. I may have gotten hungry from the late night set of dancing. I tried tons of water but that wasn’t it. I drank some tea and it helped for a bit, but I was up hours later and it came back nagging. So I am proud to say that I got on MFP and checked my macros to see what would be more helpful instead of hurtful. I was a bit down on protein so I made a slimfast advanced nutrition high protein smoothie using almond milk (unsweetened) instead of milk to keep the carb count down to 2. It helped fill me up AND combat my sweet tooth. I don’t like to do this everyday, it does have sweeteners in it, but it is nice to have some ammunition to load in my gun if I need it, and it fit the bill last night. I think today is going to be another great day. I have already done one small set of aerobic dancing and am minding my IF 16:8 again. I actually hit 6 hours of sleep last night which I haven’t done in over a month. Water…… I have glass in hand and I’m coming for you today!

@quiltingjaine that's amazing, you should be so proud. WTG!!
@MadisonMolly2017 congrats on the new low 👏👏and I hear you about the eating out issues, i was literaly thinking about that this morning. Usually I have trouble getting in all 1200 calories, especially if I am eating really healthy but this morning I grabbed a Break fast sandwich and it literally obliterated my calories, eating out is tasty but unbelievably awful...starting to see that it really isn't worth it. I don't eat out very often (maybe once a month at most) so it was a shock.
@StefanieBerger88 you are doing amazing with so much going on. That is truley inspirational.
@deepwoodslady Wow!! That's amazing news about your son. So happy to the both of you

Back again for another challenge. Stayed at 150 something for the last 4 days of round 64. Looking forward to breaking into the new decade. My body seems to be having a pretty hard time of letting go of the 150’s. My round 64 end weight was 150.2. My goal for round 65 is going to be 148. Hopefully I see a nice whoosh in this round since last round I didn’t really get anywhere. Although I did get back to my pre-Christmas weight and had my lowest 10 day average so far. So I am taking those both as wins and moving on.
1/13 - 151.7 this must be the bounce from Friday nights beers and food. We were just celebrating it being Friday and being done with last week. Did well yesterday and plan on doing the same today. Probably will be back down tomorrow.
1/14 - 154.3 so my plan was going great until about 6 when we had some unexpected old friends show up. Drinks and a very late dinner. Water and a healthy lunch and dinner is what I have in store for today. I will be back down tomorrow. I always gain a couple of pounds after a night of drinking. I was really irritated with my results last week, so I was felling sorry for myself. Today I'm back on the wagon. Clean eating, lots of water, and no alcohol till Saturday.
1/15 - 151.6 and back down. Lol, did great yesterday. On track today so far. 2 of my kids had dentist appt yesterday, the other 2 had them today. Didn’t get fast food for myself either day. So that’s a win. Yesterday was the last time I will have to accompany my 2nd oldest to an appt. He will be 18 in a couple of weeks, so another win for this week. 2 kids over the age of 18 (in 2-1/2 weeks) and 3 to go. It goes by so quick I swear. Now if I could just see a 140 something on the scale this week it would be a 5 star win!
1/16 - 148.9 I finally got the whoosh I had been waiting for. I'm sure I will bounce around here for a week or so, but that's fine. I am just happy I finally made it in the new decade. I have been trying to do this since the middle of December. Made my goal this round, so I am just going to try and maintain and be grateful. Also this means I have officially lost 30 pounds. Took me almost 7 months, but I made it. So my new goal this round is to get well acclimated in the 140's and not go past 149.9 again. Yeaah!
1/17 - 149.6 I stepped on the scale a couple of times this morning. I got this number twice and 148.9 twice. I will have to clean underneath it and reset it when I get home. Just didn't have time this am, kids were not cooperating with me and I was trying to put dinner in the crock pot so I didn't have to deal with that tonight. So I am going with the bigger one just in case. I'm still happy it is in the 140's and I actually expected it to go up anyways. Had a larger dinner than usual last night and for some reason I was starving all day yesterday. I also had a very big whoosh the day before, so figured it may bounce around for a couple of days. Still happy and excited I finally made it.
1/18 - 148.9 good day yesterday and all set for today. Mon-Fri are so easy to stay on track for me. It's the weekends that just get all messed up for me. DH works tomorrow so just planning on cleaning and getting the shopping done for the week. Happy with my progress this round so far. If I can maintain and finish around 148.xx I will take it as a win.

01/13 143.8 a slight bump up, yesterday was hard. A big family breakfast and dinner and although I started out great, by the end of the day I gave in after dinner to snacks. Sheeeeesh! This is getting more and , more difficult as I go on. Work so hard to loose a little, takes nothing to gain a little. I am going to have to pre-plan for next week. I will schedule Saturdays as my rest day workout wise (there is no way to get around it) but my eating needs to be on point. I'm ok with a cheat meal here and there but it can't be on a day I don't work out
I
01/14 145.8 WHAT THE FUNK!!! I know this weekend was rough for me, I know I didn't workout yesterday, got minimal steps in and my eating wasn't the greatest but this is so dissapointing all the same. I want to say I deserve this but I also don't. I looked at my exercise log and noticed that I worked out for the last 8 days straight and managed to only maintain, yet I have two bad nights (not two whole days, just around dinner time) and my weight bumps up this much. I am getting so aggravated now. This was my number after 10 days of Christmas holidays...so like I said WHAT THE FUNK!! I am so grumpy today 😫😧
01/15 no weigh in. Woke up late jogged and some weight lifting yesterday but not much else
01/16 143.8 and back to my number at the beginning of the round. The past couple of days I have been grumpy and slightly depressed (besides this group I have been telling others I wasn't feeling well, it's so much easier then explaining depression). It demotivated me and although I did get a jog and some weight training in on Monday and yesterday had 90 min of volleyball, today I am determined to do my usual routine and get my butt back into it. I am finally sick of this number and am ready to change it. Yesterday I only got 4000+ steps (like I said wasn't feeling the greatest) but I did eat under calories and 2 liters of water. If I have trouble loosing by the end I am going to try the egg fast @deepwoodslady has been talking about.
01/17 144.4 did nothing to deserve this uptick, this is getting frustrating. +30,000 steps, worked out, ate under Calories and 1.8 liters of water. I am half determined and half annoyed. Why is this getting so darn difficult. Work out like crazy but only manage a maintain or smal gain😧😧 trying to keep my head on straight. I am usually an upbeat, motivated person but I do crash at times and when I fall, I fall. I am trying to keep going and not consintrate on the number too much. Wanted to be bellow 140s by the time my birthday hit but that came and went and I was fine.., then wanted to be bellow the 140s by my 9 year anniversary (Jan 23rd) but I am starting to think that won't happen and it is really concerning me. Sorry for whining. Just aggravated
01/18 143.6 and back down. I don't know if it's the time of the year because I had this same trouble last year around this time and maybe my body is just holding onto some fat in order to be betrer insilated for the winter. Today I realized this whole time I wasn't upset about not being able to loose, i was upset about trying so hard and to not see the scale budge at all, makes me wonder what would have happened if I wasn't trying. I guess I can finally answer the question about all the steady gains in my life and how I could have possibly let it get away from me. After these ten days it will be officially a month of no change. Thank gosh I feel better, over all when I workout or else I don't know if I would have continued sticking too it. I can feel the frustration, nipping at my willpower. My thoughts are, if I am going to gain anyway I might as well stop watching everything, weighing everything, using alternative methods for food....but I know I have to stop these thoughts dead, trying to remind myself it's about being healthy, weight loss is just the bonus. Once again sorry for the rant, i have been grumpy all week.

@mlhopp93 Congrats on staying the same weight after a 4 day trip! Traveling is my worst downfall, so I am inspired and impressed!
@SarahG626 Thanks for the nice comments about my son. I appreciate all that you & the others have said and I do share those comments with him. You are almost to Onederland. Yay! Have a safe trip!
@jaccimc63 Good luck on that car repair. I hope it is swift and inexpensive. Praying for a safe trip for your kids. I remember being that young & brave!
@aFit50 Whatever the dilemma, I'm here for you. Lean on me anytime. Wishing for the best outcomes for you & yours. Peace to you my friend!
@Lilylady3k When you can eat oreo cheesecake twice and still lose weight you are doing a lot of things right! Your overall eating & macros for the day and your exercise keep you in line for that loss. One or two blips does not derail you and I learn from that! Thanks for the lesson!
@puttyputty I can't do push ups anymore due to it causing lymphadema in my right arm where the lymph nodes were removed. My exercise is a bit more limited since the cancer. But you are doing so fantastic with this personal challenge! I remember how hard they are. Keep up the good work!
@taxgirl1 I have always been an all or nothing kind of girl. I love it when someone (like you) comes along and reminds me that it doesn't have to be that way! You still going to the gym but making that change while there (on what you just did not feel like doing) is IMPRESSIVE. You Still Went To The Gym and got in a workout! This lesson does not just help me in my fitness plan, but in my diet as well. If I eat a wrong meal, or a wrong little thing, it DOES NOT give me permission to turn it into an all day frenzied binge! It's one thing! I should still follow my plan. I need reminding of this often as I truly do experience brain fog at times. Thanks for the reminder today! Nice job!
@Roxmom66 You made it back to onederland! 170 is a very reasonable goal and you will get there! You got this girl!
@jenn990205 My son likes all white foods, but not even that many of those! He won't eat mashed potatoes (too smooth) but he wants pizza (white mozzarella), bread, pastries, pasta etc. In the past 6 months he has learned to eat mayo (lightly), white gravy (dribbled) and sour cream (dollops). While none of these are super healthy, every new food opens up doors to other possible things which are healthy. Because of T2D running in my family, his beginning weight of 308 pounds at 5' 6" tall and his love of carbs I have been working hard on this weight loss for him. Thanks for the understanding & well wishes. You, @allmannerofthings, myself and all the others out there with these challenges in our families have our work cut out for us, but we are strong & mighty women with hearts full of love and we are making a difference! Thanks for inspiring me right back!
@salleewins Happy Birthday!!!!

01/14 -- 153.5 -- So nice to see this number repeat. I think the bloat is mostly gone.
01/15 -- 154 -- (got 153.5 at first and stepped on it again. Got 154 for my trouble, and the scale stuck with it!)
01/16 -- 154 -- I'm ok with this. Went out for lunch with a friend and had a gyro with the pita. Bit of a carb binge when I got home, but within my exercise calories. Interestingly, I could tell the difference of eating more carbs yesterday, because I got hungry during my morning walk!
01/17 -- 153 -- Yes! Two walks and half of a zumba class yesterday. Ate a bit high on carbs and calories in general, because I was feeling pretty stressed. But still under goal. And did not drink multiple glasses of bourbon...just one.
01/18 -- 153 -- After last weeks roller coaster, this week has been nice and calm! I'm super dizzy today and hoping it was a few too many carbs yesterday and electrolyte imbalance. Drinking broth and hoping to shake it!

@salleewins Happy birthday!!! 🎂🎂🎂
@deepwoodslady every change you make is a good change. The fact that he has cut down and made compromises will help in the longevity of his goals. We don't need to cut out everything and as humans we are not perfect, we are allowed "bad" things but as long as we portion them out appropriately (and it sounds like he is) and add more good things and only treat ourselves to the not so good things is all we can ask ourselves for. And it's working!!! Which is the real win. You should be so proud of him but at the same time be proud of yourself!!! He may inspire you but you are his inspiration and his rock, you doing everything you do makes you an amazing person. I am in complete awe of your story and your sons. I love hearing the updates and can't wait for more. ❤❤❤❤5 -
@Birder165 -- Welcome to the 40's!
@noynoyavery -- Try drinking ginger tea several times today and tomorrow for the cold. It seems to have worked for me. Just add either fresh slices of ginger or 3/4 - 1 tsp powdered ginger to boiling water. Add a dash of tumeric (for immune boosting) and honey if you like. It doesn't taste too bad and I swear it's staved off two colds so far this season!
@shunggie -- Great job on the McD's Resistance!
@motheroftwins95 -- You are on a roll this week! Great losses!
@deepwoodslady -- Great job combatting the snacking! Sounds like a big win to me! And I am truly impressed that your son is dancing with you!
@abowersgirl -- Hang in there! I hate those down in the dumps days!9 -

01/14 163.5- It was nice to see the 163s again since I was at 163.7 on Wednesday (my weekly check in date), but moved up to the 164s again from Friday-Sunday. I lost 8 pounds easily since 12/1, but lately have gone to a 1.1 average on Happy Scale. Hope to move that closer to 1.5 lbs this round.
01/15 162.7- My goal for today is to complete a 45 minute spin class, eat well, and drink more water. Yesterday, I only drank 48 oz and woke up thirsty. It is raining here, so I might not be able to get to 10,000 steps. As long as I hit 70,000 for the week, I will be happy. Tomorrow is my MFP weigh in date, so hoping to be under last week's 163.7 weigh-in.
01/16 163.4- I was hoping for a larger loss than .3 lbs this week, but at least the weight is going down and still have an overall rate of 1.48. Today I have a Basic Strength class that I started going to last week. I had never done step before and it pushed me out of my comfort zone. I was sore for two days after last week's class, so hoping my body reacts a bit better today.
01/17 162.9- Loved being under 163 this morning! The exercise class yesterday was hard, but I am not as sore so going to get a 45 min cardio machine workout in if it doesn't rain too much. Tonight, I have a wine tasting fundraiser so have to be very careful on calorie counting and water intake.
01/18 161.6- Even though I know this is an outlier, it is still fantastic seeing a whole new number! I am feeling a bit under the weather today so will skip the gym today, but still hope to get to 10,000 steps.

1/13 - 203.1 (1,387 calories, 10,692 steps): Solid day. Tracked all food. Stayed away from the dinner/night binge. A little too high on the carbs which showed blood glucose in the 140-150 range for long periods of the day. Did not workout so I need to improve there. Better things for today!
1/14 - 204.3 (way too high on the calories, and way too low on the steps): The dinner/night binge got me. I'll get it today. Going for a perfect day today! Good luck to everyone.
1/15 - 202.8 (~1,900 calories, 8,647 steps): Back in the right direction. Decent day. Need to get my treadmill game back on. Will try to get on it tonight or get a long walk in while waiting for kid's activities. Keep the momentum going.
1/16 - 200.7 (~1,600 calories, 17,564 steps): A good day. Got in a 30 minute and 50 minute brisk walk. Need to get back on the treadmill and hit the weights again. Received my A1C results which were 6.2%. My doctor will be happy, but I want to get it under 6. A new 3 month goal for A1C. Glad to see the scale go in the down direction. Good luck to everyone as we hit the hump of the 10 day challenge!!!
1/17 - 202.3 (did not track all calories, 11,417 steps): The slice of pizza got me! The one thing I was proud is that it was only one slice, and not 3-4. Keep on, keeping on. Here is to a good day for everyone!
1/18 - 202.9 (did a cheat meal, 9,417 steps): I was happy I did not turn the cheat meal...into a cheat day...into a cheat week...into a cheat month....and just giving up. I need to get on the treadmill. Going to make sure to work out all weekend. Love this forum because it keeps you accountable everyday and manages the ups and downs.7 -

ROUND 65 (Round 11 for me)
5’5” 66 y/o Texas Lady
SW 178 lb.
GW 135-140 lb.
Started Keto WOE on September 24th (2018). Still experiencing decreased arthritis hip and shoulder pain since the second week of Keto. Staying within calorie limits is easy enough, but not exceeding my carb limit is difficult. I don’t use my KetoMojo meter every day, but I’ve only been out of ketosis for a couple of days since the second week when the meter arrived. Some of my NSVs: feeling less self-conscious, wedding band fits, smaller clothing, and my happy husband, whether he’s inspired to quit his cigarette habit or not.
Rounds 54 – 64 resulted in a cumulative loss of 33.6 lb. The closer I get to my goal, the more excited and motivated I become! When I reach maintenance, my plan it to continue checking in on these rounds. I really do appreciate and enjoy your company!
Day/Weight/Comment
01/13 144.8 Hello again! Let’s make this a great round! My scale is up a little this morning. I was up early to cook for lunch at church. My poor husband wass sick most of the night. It may be the fried fish he ate last night that I brought home for him on Thursday. It was a lunch special, but had three large filets of catfish. I meant to throw the last one away yesterday—wish I had. I guess something else could be going on with him. Thor and I had a good walk yesterday, but cut it a little short, 4.8 mi. We met the owners of a dog that’s been harassing and following us. I don’t want to see him run over.
01/14 143.8 I’m about to go to work, so I’ll have to catch up on posts this evening. Monday is my MFP check-in day, so I wanted to enter that before I forget.
01/15 143.4 I could have walked yesterday afternoon, but it was cold and windy, and I try to avoid cold and windy. The high today should be 50F and cloudy, still too cold, but I’ll probably take Thor and walk this afternoon after the Women’s Club luncheon and meeting. My grandmother and great grandmother and two great aunts were charter members of the club, long ago, and I like spending time and having fun with my neighbors. My favorite meetings last year were hula dancing, clogging, and learning to milk a goat!
01/16 143.6 Thor and I increased our walk yesterday—6.4 miles. We returned home tired, and my hip/back was a bit sore. It’s still a little sore this morning, which may account for the small gain on the scale this morning. I enjoyed the Women’s Club meeting, except for the lunch—they went with sandwiches, chips, boiled quail eggs, and cake. Three of us at my table ate a quail egg (they’re tiny 😊), the chicken salad and pimento cheese out of quarter sandwiches (tossed the bread), and no cake. It’s good to have like-minded friends.
01/17 142.6 I expected the scale to be more kind today. I’ve recovered from my long walk and will try to do another walk this afternoon. First, I’ll go play Bunco with my friends. Reading the post about freezing and sub-zero areas has me shivering just thinking about it! My husband and I leave the thermostat at 70F in the winter, and we’re still both bundled up and uncomfortably cold. We’re expecting a real freeze this weekend. I may have to give in and have a couple of glasses of wine to warm me up! I gave up wine when I started keto, since I tend to prefer sweeter wines. We’ll see how I cope.
01/18 143.0 Up a little, that must be how my body coped with the wine (dry red at my card game) and the last bite of pecan pie I finished last night! I’ve been nibbling on that pie since Christmas. My husband ate a couple of slices and half the pie was devoured at a church dinner. I’ll miss it, but I'm glad the temptation is gone. I was needed as the fourth player for a Canasta game after Bunco, so I pretty much played games all day. My only workout was pushups and situps, and I can’t do many of those. The plan is to keep doing them until I get better and stronger. I worked today, but left early to take a walk. It was drizzly out, but I hate to disappoint Thor, so I put on a bright jacket and a hat and took him on a 3 mile walk, which was better than no walk.

@puttyputty I like the pushup stands. They're not very tall and not the swivel kind, but they are more comfortable than hands flat on the floor. I suspect shoulder problems occur when doing deep pushups with stands, especially the higher ones, when the shoulders dip below the hands. That's just my guess. I'll be happy with getting my chest to my hands and back up.4

01/13 132.8. About logging & eating: Logged everything; need to work on lowering my calories. Might have some water weight right now; I’m not sure.
01/14 133.2. Logged everything. Ate less than yesterday! I ate at maintenance, which was my goal.
01/15 132.4. Logged everything. Met my goal of eating less than yesterday— slightly under maintenance.

First time:- Round 65
Mini mini goal - drop below 170.
Interim goal :- 164 - that puts me in 'just fat' instead of 'obese' on the BMI scale
Final goal:- 135 I was most comfortable here. For my height, that's still at the top of the range, but I felt I could comfortably maintain that without eating like a rabbit!

01/14 170.6 My weekly weigh in day. Walked as above.

01/16 171 For the first time in a very long time, I logged in just over my base of 1200 cals. And I'm surprised I don't feel any worse for it - not starving or deprived of anything. Walked as above.
01/17 170 Over my base calories but still within if I add exercise. Usual 70 mins (10 000 steps) on t/mill.
01/18 Did not weigh this morning And also my rest day. But tracked everything and was well within my range. Friday is my toughest day at work, so still got over 10 000 in.

OSW 6th Jan 2019 88kg
RSW 85.1kg {- 2.9kg or 6.4lbs}
RGW 83.5kg
01/13 85kg I made my 3kg in my 1st week which makes me so happy. Now not to give up when it slows down! I'll keep on logging everything and keep to my Keto macros.
01/14 85kg still in the green for calories and macros. Dogs my morning run after sedentary Sunday.
01/15 84.9kg scale give me 2 different scores so I took the highest. Still going strong with everything. Tried the push ups but could hardly do level 1 even on my knees! Will keep at it. All Christmas wrought gone... Now to lose the last long vacation weight!
01/16 84.5kg still all green. A short fast (for me!) run this morning and I did my evening workout last night. I really loathe burpees.
01/17 84.1kg this makes me very happy! Stayed in the green. Dry January going well and did the strength training... Working up to the push ups!
01/18 84.1kg short morning run done and exercise last night. Stayed in the green. Feeling positive!

Day/Weight/Comment
01/13:235.5. I ate 2100 calories. Today was a rest day from lifting weights, but I still walked for 60 minutes. Still struggling to get my daily calories into a lower range. When I first started dieting a few years ago, it was very easy for me to only eat 1500 calories per day. I’m not sure what happened to that mindset.
01/14: 235.5. I did much better with dieting today. 1600 calories. 40 minute workout and 60 minutes walking.
01/15: 235.0. 1950 calories. 35 minutes lifting weights and 70 minutes walking.
01/16: Didn't weigh today. 1900 calories. 60 minute walk.
01/17: 235.0. It was a really long day, so I ate more than usual because I was awake for so long. Probably around maintenance for calories and I walked 90 minutes.
01/18: 235.0. 2200 calories. 35 minutes of lifting weights. 60 minute walk.

Day/Weight/Comment
01/13 245.8 - not sure what happened here as I ate within my calories. I’m sure it must be water weight or something but onwards and upwards (or downwards!) Going to start my couch to 5k today so will see what happens.
01/14 245 - went for my first run well jog /walk and I was exhausted. I feel so much better now I’m exercising. Food wise I was on track and really trying to whole foods only with no added things.
01/15 243.6 - nutrition was on point yesterday. I’ve really noticed how sweet natural food is tasting. I did roast veg yesterday and the onions were like candy! Who would have thought it. Love them. Of for my second run/jog later and actually looking forward to it!
01/16 242.8 - that's 13.6 lbs in 2 weeks! I am super happy and can't wait to see what happens next. I also did my second day of couch to 5 k and managed to run/walk my way around 3k. Eating was on track and my jeans are even starting to feel loose.
01/17 241.2 - wow how did that happen! Smashed through the first stone. Have loads more energy and also got super motivated by all the before and after pictures. Everyone is so motivating and positive on here.
01/18 241.2 to be honest I’m happy it just hasn’t moved usually after a big loss I go up. Not this time! I did my 3rd day of couch to 5k and beat my time the day before (they are exactly the same). I never realised i could like exercise and thought running was a big no but I LOVE the sense of freedom. Food was a bit all over the place yesterday but still stayed within my calories so happy overall. Good luck weighing in everyone!
01/19 240.2 ate really well, got slightly less steps in than usual but still well over 10,000. Really want to get into the 230’s for this round. Saturday is usually harder to get my steps in so doing w2d1 of couch to 5k today and then going to try and encourage my husband to go out and be more active.
