SW: 294
CW: 282.6
GW: 150ish I think I felt best at this weight.
01/13 282.6 and down a total of 11.4 pounds since Jan 1, have only eaten bad once in that time and I’m finding it easier everyday to follow my lifestyle plan. I’ve started to incorporate exercise as well so I’m hoping to really see some pounds fall off this week.
01/14 282.2 was so sick today. Ugh. I will swear to it that my humidifier made me ill but who knows. So, no exercise today and TONS of schoolwork. This semester is going to be hard especially since I’m going back to working full time. I just have to stay focused on that and losing weight. I know I can do this.
01/15 282.0 What a slow week. Still feeling pretty grungey but so much better than I did yesterday. Going to attempt a workout today. My husband got those Bluetooth boflex weights and they have a ton of exercises to do on their app. Been a long time since I’ve lifted so I certainly want to take it slow. Hope everyone else has a good day, I’ve noticed the thread has really quieted since the last one.
01/16 281.0 Feeling even better today. Did an arm workout yesterday called “Armageddon” and boy am I feeling it today. My arms are jello! Luckily all I have to do is some school work. Feeling really good about myself right now. Just, good. You know? Like I’ve finally got ahold of my life again and I know I can do this. I’m so disappointed I let myself get so out of control again but I got this.
**Just after I thought today was getting better my period comes out of no where and 9 days early which puts me at a 20 day cycle. So frustrating.
01/17 280.6 despite being super bloated. Still loosing. Attempted piyo this morning. Did about 15 min of core and the baby started crying so that was it for me. Still felt good to do it. Going to do a bit of yoga when I get home and a treadmill walk. Yesterday I was a bit incapacitated so no exercise and I did eat bad and didn’t log anything so I’m happy with my half pound loss. Also have lots of school work to do so...ugh. That too.
@StefanieBerger88 Hugs to you girl. It sounds like you have a LOT on your plate right now with work, school, baby, and weight loss. Keep your chin up and keep logging it helps I promise8 -
Round 65 (this is my 2nd time)
5'4" Female
SW: 162.7 lbs
GW: 140-145 lbs
Up/down/up/down - and the roller coaster continues.......
Even though I keep doing this, I am feeling so much better with the changes I have been making. YAY!
1/13 - 162.7 - today is a homework day and I am notorious with snacking when I do this. So, I plan to find ways to NOT snack on crap throughout the day. If I am up by tomorrow, I hope by only 0.3lbs.
1/14 - 163.9 - and the scale shows the snacking I did yesterday.
1/15 - 163.1 - slowly making a come back from the excessive snacking on Sunday.
1/16 - 162.3 - Feeling good and making small changes. I really wanted more than one snack last night and made tea instead. I had a very large mental argument with my brain, and I actually won this one.
1/17 - 162.4 (my scale is touchy - I weighed 2 more times and the 2nd time it said 159.8, then 160.4 - so I chose the largest number to be safe). I am feeling great! My energy is up. My mental clarity is so much better. I am THRILLED with how I am feeling. I have been exhausted for way too long, so this is AWESOME!

I am a 50 year old 5'5" woman. I am trying to get healthier to avoid diabetes and all of the problems that come from being overweight.
I have found this challenge to be both rewarding and frustrating! Looking at my weight daily has been a real eye opener to see all of the fluctuations and how a high carb day will affect me and the loss for 2-3 days after. I have been participating in this challenge since Round 40 My average loss/gain since Round 40 to 63 is a 0.5lb loss each round. This was better than I expected!

SW = 160
CW = 155
RGW = 151
UGW = 135
Round 64 loss = 5lbs
1/13 = 152.8
1/14 = 153.9 Unsurprising. Yesterday was an unnatural one day drop. Also, last night had a couple of glasses of wine and pizza when friends came over. But totally fine. I ordered thin crust, veggie pizza. I was over my calorie goal, but acutally still under 1800 for the day, so not a terribly damaging "indulgence" day.
1/15 = 153.1 A good day. It's been super rainy this week and the lack of sun is messing with my moods. Feeling low energy, but still trying.
1/16 = 153.1 I am both happy and disappointed. Obviously, I'd like to see the scale move down. But, yesterday was a tough day. My kids' teachers are on strike and it's been raining all week. We were cooped up in the house all day. I was struggling to stay moving because there really isn't any housework left to do thanks to my recent "KonMaring" of our house. But, my friend came over late in the evening to lift with me. I hope everyone's January is going well.
1/17 = 152.8 to be totally honest, I'm losing my enthusiasm. I've not been hitting my water goals or step goals. (steps aren't that big of a deal because I've been doing plenty of other activity, but still). My eating yesterday was good, and I am still logging everything. It's still raining here and I'm dying for the sun to return.

SW 370.8 – Round 65 (1/13/19)
GW 362 – Jan 31st
GW 299 – End of 2019 (6.2)
Day/Weight/Comment
01/13 – 370.8 – 2nd day in a row up. Unfortunately this weekend I have had eating out functions everyday. I have another one today and Pizza Tuesday. My plan for Tuesday is one piece of pizza, no appetizers and I will order a big salad if a salad is not ordered. I eat out a lot on weekends, so sodium is high. I will drink plenty of water next two days and I hope to be down again by Wed.
01/14 – 371 – I lost 2.8 pounds at WW today! Yay! Got in my 7000 steps yesterday. Was not a blue dot day. This week I am going to do better with the blue dot days M-F for sure starting today.
01/15 371.2 – I did 7000 steps, got in 6 hours sleep, not a blue dot day. And so far I don’t think today will be a blue dot day. So in 2 days gained about a half a pound. Got to put the breaks on…..
01/16 372
01/17 371.6 - finally going in the right direction. Hope to keep it going. This 10 days is going fast. So I have 5 more days to lose something. I can do it! lol

”Consistency over a day - no problem. Consistency over a week - ehh. Consistency over a month is hard. Now think about consistency over six months or a year. That takes grit, accountability and preparation.”— Author UnknownRound 64 - SW 373.4 EW 369 (-4.4)- Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
- A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
- Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
- The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
- Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
- The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
- When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
- Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

To all the Newbies here: My son's story. He is 22 years old and has Autism. At 308.4 I finally convinced him to start a diet. His is the complete opposite food plan as mine. I am Keto low carb. My son (with severe eating disorders and sensory problems with textures, smells etc.) does the low calorie. His snacks are tempting to me and mine are tempting to him, so it can be challenging for both of us at times. Today he weighed 271.6. OMGosh I am so proud. He did not gain nearly what I did through the holidays, and he has continued to lose this month in ways that I find amazing! I started this journey to be an inspiration and role model to him. He is only about 5'6" tall and was in a dangerous place with all his stats. But look how he has become an inspiration to me. I just wanted to share his success. Nearly 37 pounds down for him. This is truly a miracle considering all. Wowza! I couldn't wait to share this update!21

Congratulations to both of you. You are on a roll. Both my boys have sensory issues. One eats only cold hard food and is underweight. The other eats only warm soft food and is overweight. So I get that this kind of change is not easy.6 -

Final goal:- 135 I was most comfortable here. For my height, that's still at the top of the range, but I felt I could comfortably maintain that without eating like a rabbit!

My goal is to lose 5 lbs on this round.
SW: 221
My 1st long goal weight is 195‼️
2nd goal is 175‼️
3rd goal is 150‼️
Long, long term, I want to get down to 135-125lbs.. this is the size where I felt most comfortable and free in my own skin.
1/13-218.6
1/14-217.4
1/15-215.8- Today is going well my fasting period ends at 1:36pm CST then I will have my fatty Keto breakfast that I love so much!! I have to keep reminding myself to drink lots of water 💦 since Keto makes to hella thirsty 🙌🏽😁
1/16-215.4-I was under my caloric goals and carb intake. IF-18:6... was hoping for a larger change in the scale, however I will take .4 lbs!! Remembering to stay hydrated. Wasn't very active today. Dreading Monday, 1/21, that's when I start hardcore fasted cardio. Yikes!
1/17-214.2- Today the scale showed me some love and I dropped 1.2 lbs!! Whoohoo! I might surpass my 5lb goal! This really gave me some motivation so I took the dog out for a long walk. I work from home so I am not as active as I should be. Been sticking to my diet very closely but didn't drink as much water today. Under my caloric goal and carb intake. Preparing myself for 1/21... thinking I will do a mix of incline walking and running for fasted cardio. Getting my mind right!

Boy my day did not go to plan yesterday. So I blame TOM and stress eating on the 1000cals I ate in snacks.
Today is a friend's birthday and a last min plan to go on a game drive. That will be great, but means estimated food, probably alcohol and not my planned day of gym, work and relaxing, hence more stress.
But i'll enjoy it and get back to the plan on Monday.

I'm back, I had to take a minute away from this. My week was very stressful at work and I just couldn't stop myself eating far too many calories each day until I stopped counting on Wed. It was stressing me even more. I now realise I don't just stress-eat, I also stress-shop. Which meant I had things at home that I didn't want to be eating but of course I did. My will power had gone out the window.
But it's time to get a grip, I only have two weeks left in this job and then a much needed holiday. Only 9 days until DH arrives, I really wanted to be below my weight from when I left the UK, but that may be a stretch now. I'll catch up on posts over the weekend - 470 posts - and try to get back into a more controlled eating pattern...

01/13:235.5. I ate 2100 calories. Today was a rest day from lifting weights, but I still walked for 60 minutes. Still struggling to get my daily calories into a lower range. When I first started dieting a few years ago, it was very easy for me to only eat 1500 calories per day. I’m not sure what happened to that mindset.
01/14: 235.5. I did much better with dieting today. 1600 calories. 40 minute workout and 60 minutes walking.
01/15: 235.0. 1950 calories. 35 minutes lifting weights and 70 minutes walking.
01/16: Didn't weigh today. 1900 calories. 60 minute walk.
01/17: 235.0. It was a really long day, so I ate more than usual because I was awake for so long. Probably around maintenance for calories and I walked 90 minutes.
