    I eat all the foods.

EAT ALL THE FOOD. The only thing I nearly exclusively don't consume is soda pop. But that's a choice because it rots your teeth and crap. And I love water. Gimme all the foods though. All of them. As long as they fit my cals and such.

Mexican food. I have a favorite restaurant that has some of the BEST smothered stuffed sopapillas and indian tacos with a ton of cheese and yummy goodness. <sigh>

I haven't touched it since I started MFP. I did a 14er hike this weekend and thought about getting something since I knew I'd burn a TON of calories. But I didn't. And good thing. My weight was actually up (maybe water) the next day.

As in "No-no, don't do that" (i.e. safeword)?

Cauliflower. I just hate it. It is *not* a good substitute for mashed potatoes, pizza crust, etc. because it's freakin' CAULIFLOWER and it's gross!

Okay, I've been holding that one in for months. :drinker:

My only no-no foods are ones I don't like or I can't eat....like too much dairy because I'm lactose intolerant and lactaid doesn't always work.

The only thing that I don't buy and keep in the house is Twizzlers. I have zero self control when it comes to those damn things. I will sit and eat and eat and eat until my belly aches.

Here's what I have decided to exclude from my diet:

    - All junk food
    - Pastries
    - White bread
    - Any meat besides fish
    - Sugar
    - Pasta
    - Noodles
    - Juice
    - Soda pop
    - Condiments (ranch, mayo etc.)

What would you list as foods that you no longer eat?

I would be a very sad girl indeed if I said goodbye to most of those. As others have said, nothing is off limits for me, although I'm not (and never have been) a fan of heavily processed/packaged foods.

As an aside, I bought my daughter a pop tart from a local store that stocks US candy the other week (they're not commonly available in New Zealand). I had a small bite just to say I'd tried one and frankly I couldn't believe it was even classified as food.!And don't even get me started on twinkies and those cookie dough bite things! *hides* :glasses:

Croissants and fried stuff, but really because I don't think they are worth the calories for how much they fill me up. If I had leftover calories and it was convenient to get some, I'd definitely have some though... I've had some pie and a couple pastries though...

Only the foods I don't like. But then, I didn't eat them before I lost weight either.

A sweet shop near me has started selling twinkies (UK)...I really don't get them...are they really as popular as I'm led to believe?

I don't think Twinkies are (although obviously I could be wrong) - but pop tarts seem to be.

Um so what do you eat? A "no-no" list is usually for bad/ trigger foods, its seems like you are possbily setting yourself up for failure and a binge.
Are you a pescatarian that you only eat fish? any why no condiments - the light version of stuffs is fine and if you measure its also fine

I don't do well with rules. If I'm told I can't have something, I want it even more.

My "No No" foods only include the stuff I don't like, everything else is fair game and thoroughly enjoyed.

    Mmm bread.

My body is organic, so is my food, and it's all fair game. Refined, processed, bleached, enriched, preserved and manipulated "foods" are not my idea of food, so excluding them is only logical to me, and I have never felt better.

I restrict artificial sweeteners, citrus juices, and caffeine but that is because they can issues with some health problems I have.

Otherwise I allow myself just about everything. Do I have a cupcake every day? No, but I also don't tell myself I could never have one. As soon as I tell myself I can't have something, the more I want it.

    Legumes
    Dairy
    Soy
Processed meats (I try to stick to grass fed)
    refined sugar
    artificial sweeteners

Things that have icing on it, all junk foods, soda/sweet drinks. I don't exactly cut them completely from my diet, I just simply limit them to a very minuscule amount

When I can't measure I try to stay away from pasta, bread, rice, butter etc because I have a hard time estimating those things.

I try not to drink my calories either. Not because it's particularly bad but because it's too easy to take in a lot of calories when it's in a drink.

    Just dairy, due to allergy.

I do try to limit the amount of meat I eat, but I try not to put too many restrictions on my diet or I will lose my mind and eat all the things.
