If you feel like you're self-sabotaging by munching/binging after dinner or like you're doubling your in-calories at night , then join us in fighting late night snacking !
How this goes:
- each of us decides what late night snacking means to them (could be either binging, if you're inclined to it or just as well eating anything or munching after dinner or after a certain time; whereas you may find having a healthy snack after dinner to be perfectly alright)
- we post by the formula: Me: X vs. LNS: X
(Me: "how many evenings you stuck to it" vs. LNS: "the times late night snacks won", as in:
"Me: 2 vs. LNS: 0", indicating that you won the first two nights.)
- additionally, you may want to
-- add a * to the latest number.
For instance, if LNS won the past night, that would be Me: 2 vs. LNS: 1*
-- post streaks of how many days you've managed to be free of late night snacking in Jan
For more examples of how it goes, feel free to have a look at the previous challenge:

It's as simple as that. Or as complicated , as you will discover. Nevertheless, the persistence and good results of some of our "old" members (and some people keep coming back) show that the battle is worthwhile!

I'm in for February! I am finally getting into the habit of drinking a lot less alcohol, and unfortunately I replaced the alcohol with mindless late night snacking. Since I eat dinner pretty early, at 4:30, I do like to have a snack after dinner, but I don't want to eat anything after 8 pm.2

Getting started on weight loss again and this is definitely an achilles heel of mine, so I'm down for February! BTW this is my first comment on MFP forums but I've used MFP on and off (mostly off, though) since about 2014.2
