Had a bit of a struggle over the weekend and earlier this week, getting back into the swing of things (took a little break last week, on a mini get away with my family.) But feeling back to myself and back to a comfortable spot in my maintenance range. Just in time for the weekend to come back around, I always struggle the most on the weekends15 -

March 31:178lbs I'd imagine this won't change. I log all my food, and I'm obsessive about getting my macros correct. I'm 40% Protein, 30% Carbs and 30% Fat, which works out daily as 200g, 150g and 78g respectively. I'm over achieving on protein and underachieving (just) on Carbs and Fat.
Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week:
Trying to mix it up with new exercises. I'm starting to feel too comfortable. Pushing myself is the best idea I can come up with. I'm at that point now where I can see my abs, but only in a certain light, or if I push them into position. I'm still aiming for 5% fat, but struggling now with nutrition. It's a fine balance. Eating too little and I loose weight, eating too much and I gain the wrong weight. What I eat so far is working, so I guess I keep going with what I'm doing, it's just taking longer than I want, but I have to realise that it's only been 11 weeks. Patience.6 -

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: Not surprising - I’ve been tapering and carb loading in preparation for the half marathon tomorrow - of course my weight went up. I ran half the course last week as part of my training run - love having this huge park in my “backyard!”
On a related note, I committed to doing 1000 burpees in March. Finished that challenge on Thursday! Woot!

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: Dealing with some abdominal pain issues. Lots of medical tests. Hoping it is nothing major. Appetite good but since my stomach hurts, I don’t even want to overeat so it feels too easy to be in maintenance. Still I am happy to end my second month of maintenance in the middle of my range. Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: An ordinary week with a bump in weight at the end after an indulgent, high sodium dinner, one that I fully expect to be gone by Monday. Exercise has been very consistent, though my strength gains have continued to stall because I haven't yet moved to a more challenging training program...one that, yes, I planned on starting some weeks ago. A bit more stress now that the end of the semester is approaching, job interviews are ongoing, and free/family time is at a minimum, but that hasn't translated into going over my weekly calorie budget. All in all, it's a bit boring on the maintaining front, but no gnus is good gnus!

Successes/struggles: It’s been a great week this week. Feel like I’m finally achieving a bit more balance in my approach to maintenance, rather than my usual all or nothing cycle. Being really active has helped me to feel confident about allowing some treats here and there, and I’m conscious of fuelling properly to allow me to achieve my fitness goals. My weight has danced around a fair amount this month but I’ve ended right in the middle of my range, and made some great progress with my fitness so calling March a winning month!

Struggles: March was tough. Nasty cold and a nagging injury led to some uncontrolled eating ... which then lead to feeling worse. (I am discovering that if I eat junk, I feel like junk!)
Success: Ended the month with some solid days of healthy eating. Feeling much better, but still working through injury issue and limited exercise. So looking forward to April and, hopefully, much warmer Spring weather.7 -

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: I am down today although not as low as I was all week. I was hovering around 131 all week. Went out last night late dinner for me, saw my niece play Ursula in the Little Mermaid late night to bed up early today. I was thinking about switching my weigh in day to Saturday although it really would not matter as the trend is downward plus I'm still in my range.
It was nice this week so I have been busy outside yesterday weeded the garden, raked the leaves, planted bushes, cleaned the car and walked 5.5 miles on top of that. I was busy all week and I still gained a pound.. UGH9 -

Success/ struggles of the week: i was able to ride my bike to work most days this week, and I've been focusing on riding harder, even on commute runs. It shows in my heart rate graphs, as i run much more time in peak zone. So my extra effort is being rewarded nicely. Very happy about it. As a result, my weight is finally going down to where i prefer to be. My legs are super strong, and I'm still tweaking new commuter bike for a better fit so that's a work in progress. I get terrible leg cramps at night if it's not correct, so very motivated to make it perfect, lol. See you all in April's thread, have a great week!10 -

Successes: Went to yoga twice this week. Avoided post dinner snacking every single night this week. Enjoyed jogging at a slow pace this week. Reached my 150 minutes of cardio. Felt good that I didn’t cave into snacking while on vacation this week with a lot of leisure time on my hands.
Challenges: I am just not going to be defeated by that scale! I weighed in at 129.5 yesterday, so I can’t believe that I gained two pounds of fat in one day. According to Happy Scale, my moving average increased by 0.7 this month. I measured my waist, which is the same as five months ago.8 -
HEAVIEST weight: 175.4 in early 2013.

Success of the week: I've been maintaining better than ever this month even though I had a wild fluctuation this week. My weekly average and scale weight are each 0.2 pounds from my goal - one is above, and one is below. With the nicer weather, I'm regularly bike commuting again. I don't know why I stopped for the winter!
Struggle of the week: My allergies kicked in. Someone brought a bunch of junk to the office on Friday. I declined all of it, but I did look at the package of mega stuff oreos. Each cookie is 90 calories. SO not worth it!
