    03/18 - 61.7kg (-1.0) - I have been totally AWOL! It's been a bit of a wobbly week, lots of stress and bad food choices. Still time to turn it around I guess...
    03/19 - 61.1kg (-0.6) - Back on plan. 3 weeks and 5 days until my boyfriend arrives... Not that he is going to give a *kitten* how much I weigh after 3 months apart lol but I'd like to be back in my maintenance bracket.
    03/20 - 60.2kg (-0.9) - Light dinner last night so not going to get too excited about this number. May still make goal this round though which would be good! Just heading out for my run and pre-logged my food. Feeling strong!

    03/21 - 60.2kg (0) - Happy to see this number holding but I'd love to see a number starting with a 5! Working from our Glasgow office today, where they always have the tastiest treats in the kitchenette. Brought my own snacks and will avoid even going in to the tea room! Wish me luck.

    Today's my 27th wedding anniversary - yay us! We're going out, of course, but I have my meal planned and it's well within bounds. I also plan to hit the gym. I figure this is as good a day as any to start over.

    That’s ok. We had a nice celebration yesterday and I went slightly over calories, but not bad. Off to the Y in a bit to work it off.

    I've been trying to lay off the baking, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to make Irish soda bread or scones for tomorrow. At least I'm not planning to make Guinness brownies! :smiley: Have a great weekend, all!

    I made soda bread yesterday for St. Gertrude's Day (patron saint of cats - much more appealing than grumpy old St. Patrick!) and, I confess, I ate a little more than I should have -- but with low-cal cabbage soup, so balance, balance.... My campaign to stop snacking at night has fallen short over the weekend, too, so I'm back to my "write it down first" project to try to get a grip. I'd do something with my hands while watching Netflix - knit, for instance - but I have a kitten who wants to help. :smiley: Have a good week, all!

    Oh, come on. That isn't even possible. I did go over my calorie goal and had salt, but really? 3.4 lbs? But...ok, I have to stop eating too much. I don't know what's wrong with me. I've reverted to my long-ago habits after 4 years of eating clean and proper. I guess this shows we're never really "cured" of old behaviors. But today is a new day and I'll try to clean up my act.

    I think it's clear from your results that it is all about CICO. I've taken the liberty to look back at your previous records and it seems you do lose on around 1400/1450 calories, and you've increased those so it's no wonder that your weight has crept back up again.

    I wouldn't worry about your 3.4lb which will be mostly water weight, but the general increase in calories is the real killer.

    I've held you to account, as you asked at the beginning of this post, or I wouldn't have written this. I wish you all the best in the coming months - you've done it before, I'm sure you'll do it again
