03/14 198.4 up 1.2 pounds from yesterday, ate more than I should have for dinner (darn delicious French fries!😩) did make it on the treadmill, felt heavy and tired, but got the full 31 minutes in. Hoping to be down to 195 for this round.
03/15 199.2 up a little bit, but I’m ok with that because I felt stronger on the treadmill and was around goal for calories. Today will be a different story, having dinner out and it’s the weekend! 🤷♀️
03/16 200.2. Just like I figured, went overboard on eating. The husband is working this weekend so I can focus on my eating (or not eating) and getting my workouts in. I just need to make it through the weekend and no excuses!
03/17 199.6. Feeling good about the little loss. Kept calories down. Had a huge sugar craving at night but fought it and did a juice instead. Then made crackers out of the leftover pulp! My first attempt, need some work but pretty impressed. Today’s agenda includes house cleaning, groceries and meal planning (for a successful week) bring it in strong for the week everyone! ✋🏻👊🏻

03/20 197.6 four more days, I can do this! I did w2d1 on the treadmill last night. (Couch 2 5k) I’ve started that program over so many times and have never finished it! 😂 but I love the app. Will be using it again tonight, I don’t know why I can’t remember that it’s kinda relaxing and that I should keep using it, be more consistent.
03/21 197.4. Stayed under calories, didn’t feel like doing anything after work and went to bed somewhat early. My real goal for this round is to get under 197, it’s been elusive for a long time. Two more days!!

Usually takes a couple days to get rid of all that excess TOM weight for me. But I'm back to my start weight despite it all which bodes well in my eyes (knowing of this timing, I figured I'd end higher this round). Today is my "cheat day" because I do my weekly weigh-ins for my work's Biggest Loser challenge but I brought lunch and plan to keep it simple with a pot roast I made last night. ONE MORE DAY (: I would love to see progress so I'll forgo my "Fat Friday" as we call it here and stick with the plan.

3/14-166- I upped my walking miles yesterday, it made me super hungry, I made tomato/feta soup and forgot to be drinking water....
3/15-163- It was so nice here yesterday, I went for a big walk in the morning and then a short one after dinner-that helps.

3/18-167-Long hours traveling to a funeral.It was great to see family. It was nice to pick anything out I wanted to wear, because now, everything fits.
3/19-165-Back to walking a couple of times a day-the dogs love it and we have another warm day before it rains tomorrow.
3/20-163-I am getting back down to where I was after all of the “fun” binge eating I did on the 16th & 17th. It sure takes work to get back into the swing of things. I upped my walking to 7 miles.
3/21-163-I am happy with that, after nasty weather yesterday; instead of walking, I stayed in and sewed and made clam chowder. Today, I should be able to get a good long walk in. My husband started walking a mile or so with me before he goes to work and and that is nice. We also have been walking a mile after dinner since the days are longer; we sleep better too.
3/22-166-I walked 7 miles in the morning, but ate heavy, salty food, and no evening walk. Tonight we eat out, hopefully I’ll
do OK.

I made soda bread yesterday for St. Gertrude's Day (patron saint of cats - much more appealing than grumpy old St. Patrick!) and, I confess, I ate a little more than I should have -- but with low-cal cabbage soup, so balance, balance.... My campaign to stop snacking at night has fallen short over the weekend, too, so I'm back to my "write it down first" project to try to get a grip. I'd do something with my hands while watching Netflix - knit, for instance - but I have a kitten who wants to help. Have a good week, all!

Oh, come on. That isn't even possible. I did go over my calorie goal and had salt, but really? 3.4 lbs? But...ok, I have to stop eating too much. I don't know what's wrong with me. I've reverted to my long-ago habits after 4 years of eating clean and proper. I guess this shows we're never really "cured" of old behaviors. But today is a new day and I'll try to clean up my act.

03/14: 197.8 (Yay for a new challenge! I weighed in heavier than yesterdays weight (197.4), but it has to do with my increased exercise last night which was 45 minutes on the elliptical sweating buckets. I had a small cheese quesadilla last night with chips and salsa for dinner. My official weigh in is on Friday's, so I'm excited to see what my results are tomorrow. Oh by the way, my weight today is the lowest I have weighed since September of 2015!! I almost cried.)
03/15: 197.8 (Same weight as yesterday, but that's okay! My official weigh in day is on Friday's and from last Friday I have lost 1.6 pounds. That makes me very happy! I did an upper body strength training workout and I'm a little sore. I had baked fries and homemade Philly cheesesteaks last night which were awesome!
03/16: 197.6 ( A little bit of a drop! I did no workout last night and had a nice big burrito for dinner haha. I can’t workout til tomorrow since I just got my first laser hair removal session today. I’ll be doing an hour workout tomorrow evening to offset today. Have a nice weekend!)
03/17: 198.6 (this gain was lower than expected! I only had half a beer last night for a little St Patrick’s day celebration which is a win for me. I ate less than what I planned for since I save calories for the weekends. I’m also 2 pounds less than last Sunday!)
03/18: 200.0 (I worked out for an hour yesterday doing 45 minutes of elliptical training and 15 minutes of total body training. Most of the time, when I workout hard I see a gain the following day. I also ate at a deficit. At least I'm 0.6 pounds less than last Monday! I'm hoping for a great week, even though TOM is visiting on Friday. Let's do this!)
03/19: 199.4 (A small drop this morning but a little less than usual. I did a 20 minute HIIT workout on the elliptical and a 15 minute core workout. My legs are a little on the sore side! Last night I had a Grocery store Asian takeout night complements of Trader Joe's I also may be holding on to some sodium and water weight for TOM on Friday! I'm curious to see what the effects would be of all this by the end of the challenge.)
03/20: 199.2 (TOM came early yesterday afternoon, 3 days to be exact! No wonder the weight was staying on! Sometimes it sucks to be a woman, but oh well I can't do anything lol. Last night I made some chicken noodle soup and had a piece of garlic bread. I also did my upper body strength training workout and I increased the reps and weight. I'll just be sticking to this for the next few days and see if the water weight drops before my trip to Vegas this weekend.)
03/21: 198.6 (TOM weight gain continuously brings my mood down, but I have to stay the course and be more positive! I only have 1 more day for a weigh in and if I don't get down to my goal, at least I know the reasons why. My soreness, TOM weight and TMI constipation that goes along with TOM is really really affecting me this week. Last night I had some cauliflower mashed potatoes, steak and Caesar salad and did a total body workout.)
03/22: 199.6 (This was not fun to wake up to! I’m on my way to Vegas right now and I’m going to enjoy my trip. I didn’t make my goals, but there’s always the next round!! I did no workout and packed all night while eating pizza which I’m sure is mostly water weight that I gained in addition to TOM weight.)

I am a 50 year old 5'5" woman. I am trying to get healthier to avoid diabetes and all of the problems that come from being overweight.
I have found this challenge to be both rewarding and frustrating! Looking at my weight daily has been a real eye opener to see all of the fluctuations and how a high carb day will affect me and the loss for 2-3 days after. I have been participating in this challenge since Round 40 My average loss/gain since Round 40 to 63 is a 0.5lb loss each round. This was better than I expected!

3/14 - 171.2 - 20g carbs, 15g net carbs. Carbs were: steamables golden potatoes (6.5gcarb), salad, deli smoked turkey, manzanilla olives, cucumber ranch dressing, au jus sauce. Okay, my weight has settled here for today. Probably that tiny potato 😂 Dinner was 2 hours later than I planned, due to this HUGE chuck roast I was cooking. It took 2+ hrs in the pressure cooker! with a couple of stops and starts to check it during the process. Should have put the 2nd weight on the pot.
3/15 - 172.2 - 32g carbs, 26g net carbs. Carbs were: salad, olives, dill pickle, grape tomatoes, jalapenos, peanut butter, almonds, walnuts, deli smoked turkey. A little fluid retention..... from exercise, not carbs! Knee is behaving, so back to strengthing quads and hams. Taking it low and slow, but consistently. I'm dealing with old shoulder injuries too, so must not be impatient with myself trying to do sets, reps and long workouts like I used to do.
3/16 - 173 - Normal fluctuation. 35g carbs, 27g net carbs. Carbs were: Strawberries, salad, peanut butter, celery, carrot, apple in chicken salad, cranberry cheddar, spaghetti squash, au jus sauce. Did not take vitamins 2 days, Th, F.
3/17 - 171.2 - 38g carbs, 28g net carbs. Too much peanut butter! Need B's. I did take my vitamins. Carbs were: green beans, au jus sauce, olives, deli smoked turkey, peanut butter.
Carb count increased from peanut butter.
3/18 - 171 - 26g carbs, 19g net carbs. Carbs were: eggs, spinach, salad, strawberries, peanut butter, sundried tomato dressing. It's going to be a slow roll with some backtracking out of the 170's. That was my normal pattern of weightloss before October 2018. Now I've buckled down and become conscious of the issues holding me in this decade for so long. With humbleness, prayer, guidance and thankfulness, I'm certain that I will exit this learning phase successfully. ☺
3/19 - 171.2 - 21g carbs, 16g net carbs. Carbs were: peanut butter, spinach and peppers as toppings on chicken crust pizza. Not very hungry yesterday, only ate 2/3 of allotted calories. If it wasn't for the peanut butter it would have been closer to 1/3!
3/20 - 172.2 - Back here again, but it's not 177 thank goodness! 32g carbs, 25g carbs. Carbs were: guacamole, peanut butter, uncured turkey hotdogs, salad, cauliflower, low carb bbq sauce.
3/21 - 170.6 - She's (my body) trying to come to terms with what I'm doing. I guess.😁 35g carbs, 30g net carbs. Carbs were: uncured turkey hotdogs, spaghetti squash, salad, guacamole, cream cheese.
3/22 - 172.8 - Mmmm, giving me push back today.😑 Did not take vitamins yesterday. 26g carbs, 20g net carbs. Carbs were: arugula/spinach, salad, peanut butter, lemon juice & zest, roasted red pepper dressing, multigrain tortilla chips (1/2 oz)

03/17. 189.2. Weekend bump, and still have family dinner today! We are having Shepherd’S pie for dinner. Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all.
03/18. 189.4. Small gain over weekend, and stayed in the 180s, which I consider a win! Now to get back to basics again.
