    Hi, my name is Jenn and I am 39. I'm back for another round. The last one was not one of my best ones, only lost 3.5 pounds. With all of the holidays and vacations I bounced around the same 10 pounds. My lowest was 148 something and my highest was 157 something. So a new challenge and a new start!


    Weigh in days will be Friday
    Challenge Starting Weight ~ 3/20 151.8 my ending weight in the autumn challenge
    Challenge Goal Weight ~ 140

    March 21, 2019 ~ 150.9 nice drop for the first day of a new challenge! 10.9 pounds to go!
    3/22 ~ 150.9 same as yesterday
    3/29 ~ 150.1 was hoping to get out of the 150's but I am still here!

    March EW: 150.1 Lost 1.7 pounds (10.1 pounds left)

    April 5, 2019 ~ 148.1 loving this! staying focused this time and really trying to get below 145.
    4/12 ~ 148.8 up just a bit this week, but had dinner out last night and a couple of beers
    4/19 ~ 151.9 first day back from vacation. Was gone 5 days and didn't do terrible. Kinda of impressed with myself.
    4/26 ~ 147.6 Good week so far. Luckily most of last week was water weight and sodium from vacation. Hopefully May will be a little better, but happy with April's progress.

    April EW: 147.6 Lost 2.5 pounds (7.6 pounds left)

    May 3 ~ 147.3 Only down 3/10 of a pound, but it was my anniversary this week.
    5/10 ~ 146.5 New low and happy with this. Hopefully I am well out of the 150's.
    5/17 ~ 148.0 2 restaurant meals yesterday, but well worth it. 2nd oldest graduated high school yesterday!
    5/24 ~ family vaca in Colorado
    5/31 ~ 149.3 I am finishing a little up this month, but May has been rough. Still in the 140's though!

    May EW: 149.3 gained 1.7 pounds (9.3 pounds left)


    June 7 ~ 147.1 I am finally getting back down. I am really hoping for a new low next week! In other news my middle child turned 17 this week! Can't believe how fast it is going!
    6/14 ~ 146.1 A new low finally! Now to keep it going. I really want to see a 145 on the scale multiple times before we go into July! 2 more weeks and almost at my goal for the month!
    6/21 ~ 148.0 was lower all week, but had pizza for dinner last night. 1 week left and still have not met my goal
    6/28 ~ 148.0 same as last week. Lots of crazy stuff going on. 2 more days to get down at least 1 more pound.

    June EW: 145.9 lost 3.4 pounds (5.9 pounds left)

    7/5 ~ 146.7 up a bit, but that’s ok. 4th of July was nice and didn’t do to bad.
    7/12 ~ 144.6 I am staying focused and it is paying off. Hopefully I will have 2 more great weigh ins like this one.
    7/19 ~ 145.3 I am ok with this. Was holding on to some water weight or something all week and finally coming back down
    7/26 ~ 143.1 So far this has been an excellent month!

    July EW: 143.7 lost 2.2 pounds (3.7 pounds to go)


    August 2 ~ 142.2 great start to the month. I may even reach my goal this challenge! Super stoked
    8/9 ~ 140.8 Super happy with this drop. Have been trying to stay really focused the last couple of weeks
    8/16 ~ 142.7 I have been here all week. To be honest have not really been trying all that hard the last couple of weeks. My 4th oldest child turns 14 this Sunday and we are having a party for him tomorrow. I can't believe how old all of my kids are getting!
    8/23 ~ 142.1 it has been a crazy rough month and all I have done is play catch up and offset my really bad days.
    8/30 ~ 143.6 leaving for Texas

    August EW: 143.6 lost 0.1 pounds (3.6 pounds to go)


    September 6 ~ 145.1 on a diet break for the last couple of weeks. Just way to much going on i my life
    9/13 ~ 143.8 I turned 40 this week am getting back on track! Let's see what I can do to finish Sept strong!

    3/26-…..187.6 ….. Finally in the right direction. Going now to check out the butt exercises Tish gave the link to. No flat butt for me in this weight loss. I want CURVES and shape!

    April 2, 2019- …..191.2 ….. I have been eating my emotions this past week. It’s got to stop!
    4/09- …..190.0 …..Up & down this past week. This landed lower by miracle!
    4/16- …..191.8…..Dealing with the death of my sister. I just can’t focus right now on any of my goals. I hope I can get back on track soon. I hope you all will be patient with me.
    4/23- …..194.3 ….. Easter week & continued to eat in grief. Starting my way back this week to a new & better version of me. Healthier!

    4/30- ….196.8. ….. I was hoping to be 6 lbs down this month & ended up over 6 lbs up. I’m going to work harder & smarter.

    May 7- …..195.6 …..Weigh in just after Chinese Buffet & fluid retention. However, still showing a loss!
    5/14- …..192.7….. I’m very pleased with this. I worked hard to meet a birthday goal & it payed off. Overate on Mother’s day but no weight gain because I got sick. Food poisoning? Yikes…..
    5/21- …..194.0 …..Hanging my head in shame…….
    5/28- …..195.1 …..Weighed morning after Holiday BBQ & guests. Back on track starting today.

    June 4- ….194.8. ….. Better than last weigh-in but I know I can do better. I must be low on water or electrolytes. I’m not sure which. I woke up with severe cramping in my feet. Charlie Horses. I’m never sure which deficiency causes this.
    6/11- …..195.9 …..Last minute unexplained gain. Lots of travel in upcoming week so I don’t hold out much hope for improvement but will stick to plan & exercise as best and as often as I can.
    6/19- …..198.7….. 3 days of travel & restaurants this past week and it shows.
    6/25- …..196.6 …..Back on track & keeping my eye on the prize!

    July 2- …..193.6 ….. I am pretty sure I am fat adapted at this time. My hunger seems at bay. It also helps that I’ve no travel or trips lately. I do better at home & away from so many temptations……
    7/09- …..195.7 ….. This is what the holiday looks like on me. Travel today. Restaurants & lots of sitting in the car. Ugggg.
    7/16- …..194.2 ….. Yes, I can! I can do this!
    7/23- …..196.8 ….. Up higher then moving back down. Yo-Yo. Enjoyed DGS’s birthday party this week & now I’m fighting the bloat, bulge & water retention. Travel tomorrow will NOT help, but I’m trying to stay as strong as I can.

    August 6- …..199.0 ….. Really struggling!
    8/13- …..196.6 ….. A quick overnight drop. I hope it sticks!
    8/20- …..195.4 ….. When I’m working it, I’m working it hard. I must try harder more consistently, but this is a drop I really needed.
    8/27- …..197.8 ….. Disgusted with myself after travel & restaurant yesterday turned into an all night free-for-all-binge. I gained almost 5 pounds overnight & completely erased any progress I had made. The next few days will be very strict & filled with activity. I deserve no less.

    September 3- ….194.8. ….. Was doing even better then began creeping back up, some holiday weight, some unexplained. Today is a new Dawn & a new Day!
    9/10- …..193.6 …..Dang zucchini bread this past week! Lots of upcoming travel this week. Less movement, more carbs is usually the norm, especially at the restaurants. I will travel with my own snacks to minimize the damage.

    9/17- …..190.6 ….. Finally lost travel water retention but more travel coming up this week. Will be de-bloating afterwards, I’m sure! I’ll have to lose one more pound just to get to the starting weight of this challenge! It’s been a yo-yo for me, but I’m feeling stronger lately so I hope that strength will stick!

    Well, I've had 4 months of gain. Everything is out of balance. Electrolytes, food, fasting schedule, exercise. Time to start a new challenge thread soon. I need it even more now. I don't want to go into Winter 7 - 10 pounds heavier than I was this past Spring. Now until December, 3 months. I have got to work hard to erase this gain.

    Challenge Weight loss goal: Maintain between 142 - 148.
    Actual Weight loss for the challenge: I'm doing alright. My last entry will be 23 September when summer ends and daylight in the Northern Hemisphere retreats to less than 12 hours per day.

    9/20 ~ 142.8 I’m completely happy with this! I’m completely back down to where I was a month ago before I started my month long diet break. So I’m happy I was able to maintain and get back to normal weight. My youngest turns 11 tomorrow and we will be having her birthday party, but I’ve incorporated some healthy stuff to go along with not so great stuff! 1 more update to go!

    185.6 today. I tried so hard to get out of the 170's for a year, that I ended up back in the 180's! Lol. Now working to undo those stress filled months.

    Still my normal up and down the 170's at the end of June.
    *This is the point that cortisol knocked me out of ketosis.

    July 2- …..193.6 ….. I am pretty sure I am fat adapted at this time. My hunger seems at bay. It also helps that I’ve no travel or trips lately. I do better at home & away from so many temptations……
    7/09- …..195.7 ….. This is what the holiday looks like on me. Travel today. Restaurants & lots of sitting in the car. Ugggg.
    7/16- …..194.2 ….. Yes, I can! I can do this!
    7/23- …..196.8 ….. Up higher then moving back down. Yo-Yo. Enjoyed DGS’s birthday party this week & now I’m fighting the bloat, bulge & water retention. Travel tomorrow will NOT help, but I’m trying to stay as strong as I can.
    7/30- …..199.7 …..Travel, Travel, Travel

    August 6- …..199.0 ….. Really struggling!
    8/13- …..196.6 ….. A quick overnight drop. I hope it sticks!
    8/20- …..195.4 ….. When I’m working it, I’m working it hard. I must try harder more consistently, but this is a drop I really needed.
    8/27- …..197.8 ….. Disgusted with myself after travel & restaurant yesterday turned into an all night free-for-all-binge. I gained almost 5 pounds overnight & completely erased any progress I had made. The next few days will be very strict & filled with activity. I deserve no less.

    September 3- ….194.8. ….. Was doing even better then began creeping back up, some holiday weight, some unexplained. Today is a new Dawn & a new Day!
    9/10- …..193.6 …..Dang zucchini bread this past week! Lots of upcoming travel this week. Less movement, more carbs is usually the norm, especially at the restaurants. I will travel with my own snacks to minimize the damage.

    9/17- …..190.6 ….. Finally lost travel water retention but more travel coming up this week. Will be de-bloating afterwards, I’m sure! I’ll have to lose one more pound just to get to the starting weight of this challenge! It’s been a yo-yo for me, but I’m feeling stronger lately so I hope that strength will stick!

    September 24, 2019 (last update)~ ….. 192.2….. I ended higher than I started. There are so many reasons why. From eating my emotions when my sister passed to diabetic lows that required too many carbs than my LCHF diet normally allows. And there are those pesky holidays, summer BBQ’s and way too much travel required for business. But through all of it, the way I choose to handle them is my own choices to make and I am still not as strong as I would like to be. I’ll get there with the help of mfp & these challenges!     Hi, my name is Jenn and I am 39. I'm back for another round. The last one was not one of my best ones, only lost 3.5 pounds. With all of the holidays and vacations I bounced around the same 10 pounds. My lowest was 148 something and my highest was 157 something. So a new challenge and a new start!

    Challenge Goal Weight ~ 140

    March 21, 2019 ~ 150.9 nice drop for the first day of a new challenge! 10.9 pounds to go!
    3/22 ~ 150.9 same as yesterday
    3/29 ~ 150.1 was hoping to get out of the 150's but I am still here!

    March EW: 150.1 Lost 1.7 pounds (10.1 pounds left)

    April 5, 2019 ~ 148.1 loving this! staying focused this time and really trying to get below 145.
    4/12 ~ 148.8 up just a bit this week, but had dinner out last night and a couple of beers
    4/19 ~ 151.9 first day back from vacation. Was gone 5 days and didn't do terrible. Kinda of impressed with myself.
    4/26 ~ 147.6 Good week so far. Luckily most of last week was water weight and sodium from vacation. Hopefully May will be a little better, but happy with April's progress.

    April EW: 147.6 Lost 2.5 pounds (7.6 pounds left)

    May 3 ~ 147.3 Only down 3/10 of a pound, but it was my anniversary this week.
    5/10 ~ 146.5 New low and happy with this. Hopefully I am well out of the 150's.
    5/17 ~ 148.0 2 restaurant meals yesterday, but well worth it. 2nd oldest graduated high school yesterday!
    5/24 ~ family vaca in Colorado
    5/31 ~ 149.3 I am finishing a little up this month, but May has been rough. Still in the 140's though!

    May EW: 149.3 gained 1.7 pounds (9.3 pounds left)


    June 7 ~ 147.1 I am finally getting back down. I am really hoping for a new low next week! In other news my middle child turned 17 this week! Can't believe how fast it is going!
    6/14 ~ 146.1 A new low finally! Now to keep it going. I really want to see a 145 on the scale multiple times before we go into July! 2 more weeks and almost at my goal for the month!
    6/21 ~ 148.0 was lower all week, but had pizza for dinner last night. 1 week left and still have not met my goal
    6/28 ~ 148.0 same as last week. Lots of crazy stuff going on. 2 more days to get down at least 1 more pound.

    June EW: 145.9 lost 3.4 pounds (5.9 pounds left)

    7/5 ~ 146.7 up a bit, but that’s ok. 4th of July was nice and didn’t do to bad.
    7/12 ~ 144.6 I am staying focused and it is paying off. Hopefully I will have 2 more great weigh ins like this one.
    7/19 ~ 145.3 I am ok with this. Was holding on to some water weight or something all week and finally coming back down
    7/26 ~ 143.1 So far this has been an excellent month!

    July EW: 143.7 lost 2.2 pounds (3.7 pounds to go)


    August 2 ~ 142.2 great start to the month. I may even reach my goal this challenge! Super stoked
    8/9 ~ 140.8 Super happy with this drop. Have been trying to stay really focused the last couple of weeks
    8/16 ~ 142.7 I have been here all week. To be honest have not really been trying all that hard the last couple of weeks. My 4th oldest child turns 14 this Sunday and we are having a party for him tomorrow. I can't believe how old all of my kids are getting!
    8/23 ~ 142.1 it has been a crazy rough month and all I have done is play catch up and offset my really bad days.
    8/30 ~ 143.6 leaving for Texas

    August EW: 143.6 lost 0.1 pounds (3.6 pounds to go)


    September 6 ~ 145.1 on a diet break for the last couple of weeks. Just way to much going on i my life
    9/13 ~ 143.8 I turned 40 this week am getting back on track! Let's see what I can do to finish Sept strong!

    9/20 ~ 142.8 I’m completely happy with this! I’m completely back down to where I was a month ago before I started my month long diet break. So I’m happy I was able to maintain and get back to normal weight. My youngest turns 11 tomorrow and we will be having her birthday party, but I’ve incorporated some healthy stuff to go along with not so great stuff! 1 more update to go!

    September 27, 2019 (last update)~ 142.0 I was hoping for another pound or so to make goal, but didn't quite make it. Did lose 9.8 pounds this season and was able to maintain for about a month and a half with pure craziness going on. Happy with my results and looking to finally reach my ultimate goal weight next season!

    September EW: 142.0 lost 1.6 pounds (2 pounds to go)

    October 3 191.6 Woo Hoo! What a turbulent week of travel, ups & downs! Fighting very hard for success. 180’s I am talking to YOU…..Bring it ON!

    10/10 191.8 I made a ton of progress this week that was completely wiped out by 2 trips in the same week including lots of car sitting/driving & restaurant food. I hope a lot of this is fluid retention. I picked up some parsley, I shall be drinking a parsley tea today!

    10/17 189.0 Working it back down. Not always easy when my own body fights me with several health conditions & many medications. As time goes on, I am becoming more & more aware of my limitations and the reasons for my fluctuations. That is a gift.
