That looks really delicious (actually) but maybe I can replace the flour with more cauliflower? And the oil with egg whites?

I mean, for a good recipe. I'm looking for a fudgy chocolate iced cauliflower cake here.

Fine, I'll post a chocolaty cake. I'm sorry my other one wasn't good enough for you, I hope you don't choke on it.

Clean cake is an oxymoron, I think. If you want to avoid everything in cake, then why not just avoid cake and celebrate with some other food? Mixing a mess of foods together to look like cake but taste nothing like it can't end well.

    What you need
    For the Cake:
    ¾ cup all-purpose flour
    ½ teaspoon baking soda
    ½ teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1 egg
    ½ cup sugar
    ¾ cup white chocolate chips
    2 cups frozen cauliflower, thawed
    ½ cup milk
    2 tablespoons oil
    For the Topping:
    1 package instant chocolate pudding
    2 cups milk
    How you make it
Preheat your oven to 350 F
Line a 8 inch brownie pan with parchment paper
In a large bowl combine flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder and sugar
In a blender mix egg, chocolate chips, cauliflower, milk and oil until smooth
Fold wet ingredients into dry ones until just combined
Pour batter in baking form and bake for 35 minutes
Immediately after taking it out of the oven poke holes with the end of a wooden spoon into the cake
Prepare pudding with only 2 cups of milk instead of 3 and pour (while still liquid) over cake
Place in fridge for at least 3 hours before serving

3/4 cup spelt flour or white flour or Arrowhead Mills gf (120g)
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (20g)
2 tsp ener-g powder, or 2 tbsp ground flax. You can omit; the cake just won’t rise as much.
    1/3 cup xylitol (64g)
1/8 tsp uncut stevia or 4 nunaturals packets (or 1/4 cup sugar)
1/2 to 1 cup mini chocolate chips (60-120g) (Do not omit. The recipe just won’t be the same if you do.)
    1 tbsp pure vanilla extract
    2 cups of cauliflower, (250g)
    1/2 cup milk of choice.
3 tbsp oil (or omit and increase milk to scant 2/3 cup, for a lower-fat option)
Maybe 40 candles? I don't know. however many you want.

Great, Enjoy. Hope you have friends after you serve them this.

I actually would try this. I'd try the cauliflower cornbread up there too. Neither looks that bad.

But you can pretty much use chocolate to make anything better so....

    Hi all!

My birthday is in a few short weeks and I'm looking for a good cauliflower birthday cake recipe. I'd like it to have only a handful of carbs, and of course no refined flour or sugar and preferably low fat, and high fiber. I'm really trying to make it a clean birthday cake. Thanks for your help!!!

    :flowerforyou:

Here ya go. And thanks for the idea. Amazing what you can find on google. I will make this cake for my son's best friend's birthday this weekend. He has celiac and this is gluten-free. Looks amazing!

Oops, billsica beat me to it!

You could just ignore the other veggies...or give them to your friends who I'm sure will be so grateful and not even tempted to take back the present they brought you.

    Happy early B-Day!

Billsica beat me to the creepy chocolate cake recipe, but what is truly frightening is that she made it look appetizing (I'm still not eating it, though)

...On another note, what's with all the negative comments? Experimenting is fun :)
