I like real olives; so glad to read my hatred of canned black olives is justified!
The best are those little wrinkled black olives.
When I was coming up, the only time we got olives was a bowl of inexpensive green pimento stuffed olives for thanksgiving. It was an insane treat in our minds and we would literally fight over them.
Those stuffed little red pepper poppadoms(?) thinggies are pretty good too.
I noticed today Kroger reinstated their olive bar. I spent a few minutes sadly browsing the posted (and clearly marked, bless them) calories before I walked away. They had tapenade. I was rooted to the spot for a while.
Yum!0 -
One lasts a long time and it’s only 7 calories.

@springlering62 - those ingredients are scary😮 but then again, I just have to look at my 'addiction' to Jordan Skinny Syrups....water, natural & artificial flavor, cellulose gum, sucralose, sodium acid sulfate, citric acid, sodium benzoate & potassium sorbate (to preserve freshness), acesulfame potassium, caramel color🙄0

But do you drink it by the bottle? If not, nothing to worry about. everything in moderation.
oh oh...I might then just be in trouble...🤣1 -

Yp. Im WFPB Vegan however I do enjoy Skinny Syrups and been using it for few years. I use products with surpluses sometimes and right now want a plant protein that has a bit in it. Tastes dto good to not enjoy all the other benefits1 -

A jar of umami I have been using lately is Chinese olive vegetable. The fruit looks like an olive but is not the same species. Nonetheless the taste is a bit reminscent of tapenade. Particularly useful for vegans wanting to expand their arsenal of umami bomb ingredients.

This, sweetened with a little maple syrup and a dash of half and half. Sweet up front with a spicy ginger punch at the end!7 -
^I've never seen this one...I'm obsessed with the Herbal Bengal Spice (I mean...I should buy shares in the company because of my consumption lol!) But this one sounds really good!1

I absolutely love my nightly tofu with cinnamon, teaspoon cacao powder or fennel powder stevia and plant protein- I make my protein in mug, hot water, almond milk and glucomannan powder. Heat in microwave until rises, top with teaspoon of unsweetened cacao powder and stevia1

Ok. I bit and googled it. What makes it different from regular cooked oatmeal and why is it called growing? I don’t get it?

I posted this before too you add like 5c of water and keep microwaving it and cooling it so it gets super big and fluffy so it’s like 4c of oatmeal instead of 1c for same calories3 -
senalay788 wrote: »Carrots.
No idea why, it just happened past couple weeks. Raw from the fridge, like a rabbit lol in huge quantities, I wonder if my skin will turn reddish.
a few years back i went through my carrot phase... would eat entire backs in a sitting! Made myself sick from them and now I get nauseous thinking about them haha0 -

I think you're the person that made me try silken tofu with chocolate syrup, cinnamon and zero calorie monk fruit sweetener based on a picture you posted as dessert months ago. I loved it and have eaten it every single night ever since. It's one of my favorite foods of all time!

So this is just making regular oats with twice the water, and if you cook it long enough it absorbs all the water?
Back when I used to have oats for breakfast I'd make steel cut in the rice cooker and add extra water so I could stir in protein powder at the end, and also add berries. It certainly wasn't twice the water, though.0 -

If you like drinking your oatmeal, the above is great. You can even triple the amount of water or quadruple and have it "grow" even more lol Actually, the hell with oatmeal, just boil some water with cinnamon and sweetener.
You know, it’s all what works for each of us.
I like to make my chai boiling hot because it takes longer to savor and drink. As long as I have a chai at my elbow, I won’t eat.
Every afternoon I have a bowl of cottage cheese topped with fruit, a spoonful (8 grams for those who want to be technical) of Grapenuts and some sweet balsamic. I like the fruit frozen because, again, it takes longer to eat. I also, heaven help me, eat one blueberry and curd at a time to make it last.
If mind games and food play is what I need to stay on track, then by golly, I’m all for that.
@lemurcat2 you keep doing you, honey, and add all the water you want to that oatmeal.
And don’t knock others’ suggestions. You never know. I’m currently obsessed with pumpkin + pudding I picked up from another frequent user. I could not, however, “get into” the silken tofu with chocolate. Again, it’s what works for each individual one of us on the other side of the firewall.9 -
Orville R. Smartpop popcorn. I eat it almost every day! The snack size bag is delicious, only 100 calories, and it satisfies my munchies. If I have extra calories I mix in a serving of cheez it snack mix or I eat 2 bags! 😛2

Been spraying this ginger spice in everything !!! So good to add to coffee, pudding, yogurt veggies chicken etc. for some reason it has a lot better flavor than adding ground ginger spice and I like that it is just liquid.

^I'm quite sure I'd absolutely love this stuff too! I'm pretty sure I can't get this stuff though (Canada sometimes makes me sad😥)0
