    Me and the Hubs
Or worse, Me and the Hubster

First of all, it’s “the Hubs/Hubster AND I” and secondly I don’t think they’ve even invented word for how very much I hate that nickname for husband 🤬

Depends. The hubster and I did a funky thing last night OR last night a funky thing was done to me and the hubster.

Damn. You beat me to being fussy about grammar. :D

I hate the phrase. To be honest with you. It makes me think 🤔 Why are you not honest with me usually.

When someone asks for information in a social media thread and ends with "....and GO!" The only thing that goes is my motivation to contribute.

I hate it when people (usually a millennial wearing J. Crew) use a fancy word where it's really not needed.

    Hey, what's up?
Not much. Just been docile all day.

Wtf? Did your cardigan come with a thesaurus? Dork.

That is so funny to me and I almost want to meet these people.
I've considered saying "penultimate" in appropriate situations but I don't think I could do so with a straight face.

People who are lazy in conversation and say "thingy" or "like", or "kinda thing". JUST SAY THE WORDS DAMMIT!

Oh dear...you'd be cringing daily around me!

I say "thingy" a lot, because I speak before I think often and if I dont know or can't think of the word, "thingy" is part of how I describe it ('cause I gotta get my thoughts out real fast!)
    ...like
"the plugger into the wall thingy"
    ...and like, that kinda thing!

To me "like" is kinda like a pause verbalized, (besides the real meaning of liking something!)

I make up my own words too, I'm pretty sure, and backwards talk, all Gollum like...rambling brain spewing communication!

I think that we may have been like separated at birth in one of those hospital scandal thingys!

    "Buddy"
    "It is what it is"
    "Have faith"
    "God works in mysterious ways"
    "This won't hurt a bit"

    "Everything happens for a reason"

Ok everything does physically happen for a reason, but not spiritually - life isn't fair, it's random.

That is a great one to toss your head against a wall.

I've never felt this way about anyone before.

    Why do you dislike this?

I suppose it's a red flag if said too early in the relationship.

But I can't see any problem if it's a long term deal. Even if I find it is cheesey, unoriginal and the sort of thing you would say if you are putting someone on a pedestal, also things like "you're the only one I've ever cared about", "I'll never love someone in the way I'll love you" etc and anything very cliche.
