actually I feel the same way about people who have human kids. But that's just me. I am endlessly glad/grateful that so many people DO have kids and take good care of them, including my own parents!
they are all crazy, I promise you5 -
I don't get the people who sit in lawn chairs just inside their garage and stare out at the street all day. They don't have a TV or radio on, or are reading, or anything like that. Just sitting. I don't understand what they could possibly get out of that.4

Watching or engaging in violent sports. UFC and boxing are a person's own choice but training animals to fight is beyond my comprehension.4

Hunched over their iPhones every waking hour.

I have seen guys who do that. I always just assume their wife has something to do with it.4 -

This...cell phones acting as a peripheral brain. People who constantly NEED to rely on cell phones for remembering anything & who take pride in not knowing anything without a cell phone. The need to document everything only to forget it & look it up constantly. Need to look @ a cellphone first before making any decision...FFS5 -

I hear ya... I always wanted a simple wedding, no fancy hall, no dress, no food, no guest.. no husband.17 -

Watching video games. Games are fun to play, but my kids are happy to spend all day watching other people playing on YouTube or Twitch (which is a service dedicated to enabling people to live stream games) instead of playing themselves. There are even professional eSports players and leagues and all that. I'm just too old to be in their target market, I guess.5

Renting vacation homes. If I am on vacation, I don't want to have to cook meals or clean up after everyone. I want restaurants and maid service. Otherwise I might as well just stay home.5

Smoking. I can see how addicts would be driven to it, how they would physically need to do it to counteract withdrawal, but to actually enjoy it? How can purposely breathing in noxious chemicals be enjoyable?2

I agree. The first time I got married was a pretty long time ago (2002) and even then, I could not believe some of the costs and opted to go small. Anyway, now I hear stories about fairly "normal" weddings (not lavish or huge) being the price of a new car and I do not understand.
I especially don't get it when the bride's parents pay for a wedding costing would be a solid down payment on a house or chunk of student loans or whatever...but insist that the big family wedding is more important.

Golf seems really boring and annoying. Its a challenge yeah, but so annoying. I dot think it is the actual golf part of golfing is what people like. Yeah, so screw golf.1

I dont understand people who spend their whole lives gossiping. Whenever my neighbours come over all they want to do is discuss our other neighbours. Sometimes I see them watching me from their kitchen window. It's so boring, I literally don't care what other people are doing so long as they're not hurting anyone.4
