It's not lower fat or calories, but I mix my tuna with avocado a lot of the time.

I sometimes add any creamy salad dressing (you can use low cal versions).

    plain yogurt ?
  • Any kind of mustard is actually very good mixed with tuna in my opinion. It also helps with the fishy smell! I also like to mix it with laughing cow cheese, but sodium is rather high.

Crisp sweetcorn, mayo and a dash of vinegar. Delish.

Eta use light mayo or salad cream to reduce cals. But it really doesn't need much mayo.

  • I use mainly mustard with only a 1/2 tbsp of lowfat mayo - I like it, but its not for everyone.

Light Balsamic Vinagrette, a little Salt & Pepper. I usually put my tuna on a salad though...not bread.

Avocado...not necessarily less calories and fat, but definitely more healthy.

Plain greek yogurt or sour cream and mustard. I actually prefer the flavor using greek yogurt or sour cream to the taste with mayo. Tastes fresher IMO.

I use lighter than light mayo, something like 50 cals per tablespoon. And I try to use way less, and not butter my sandwich bread.

  • I use a light mayo and lemon pepper and usually eat it with the Triscuits cracked pepper. Adds flavor to it.
