how tall are you? I'm 5'3", 10 stone and very sedentary due to health and need to be at 1200 to lose. I was hungry at first but you need to pick your calories wisely. Eat what satiates you. Some say protein so say a boiled egg can help you feel fuller. I have to have oats for breakfast. Beware of eating out of boredom or habit. Have a drink first when you feel hungry. Get a couple of absorbing hobbies.

Ultimately, if it feels too low, raise it a bit and see how you do. If you still lose, then great. If not, lower it again.

If you set your goal to lose weight to high it will drop your calories down. Try a less aggressive goal and see what they give you for calories

you likely selected a rate of loss of 2lb/week which may be too aggressive depending on your height. Select 1 or 1.5lb/week rate of loss to start with/

faster is not better if you can't sustain it over a long time. weight loss is a marathon not a sprint.

Did you try 1400 as you mentionned back in may?

You posted numerous times over the years saying 1200 was too low and you can't do it. So stop trying that.

Select a smaller rate of loss (maybe 0.5-1lb/week) and try that for 2-3 weeks. Play around with your food to see what keeps you fuller. Some people need more fat, others more protein, others a good amount of carbs. Some eat more volume (this is me! I eat volume and protein primarily, ensuring to get at least "enough" fat).

Yeah, if you keep trying and it isn't working, then try something else.

The difference between 1200 and 1500 is huge, hunger wise. Try 1500 for a month and see how you do.

I agree that it's also important to find ways to eat that make it easier. Lots of vegetables will help you stay full. Protein is really important for feeling satiated, too. Make it a goal to hit those protein goals every day and add a vegetable or three to every meal.

Then, take a walk. A 30-45 minute walk will give you a few more calories and blunts hunger. Try it.

How recent is "just"? I'm no doctor, but I'm guessing you should talk to your surgeons. Eating in a deficit while healing isn't usually advised from my experience.

100% this. If you're still in activity limitations, then it is unlikely to be a good plan to target weight loss, especially not aggressive weight loss. Talk to your doctor.
